Spain Citizens Protest Starbucks’ Hiring Spree for Refugees with ‘Starburka’ Stickers

Residents in Spain have an answer for Starbucks’ company officials who announced plans to hire 10,000 refugees from mostly Muslim communities – and if a picture says 1,000 words, this message is a volume.

Starbucks has faced widespread fire over its announced plan to hire 10,000 refugees from mostly Muslim nations.

As the Bare and Naked Islam blog reported: The Starbucks stores in Madrid were made over with stickers that showed the female figure at the center of the company logo as a burka-clad woman.

A new look for Starbucks? Critics of the coffee company have a message for executives, and it’s coming in the way of stickers placed on cafe windows all over Madrid.

From the blog:

“All the Starbucks branches in Madrid have been redubbed ‘STARBURKA REFUGEES’ in a mass sticker protest action against that company’s decision to employ 10,000 Muslim invaders posing as refugees—while unemployment in Spain is over 20 percent.

“The protest action, carried out by Spanish nationalist activists Hogar Social Madrid (HSM), saw activists print up ultra-sticky full size stickers to replace existing store signage, made up in imitation of the Starbucks logo, and plaster the company’s branches throughout the city overnight.

“A statement released by HSM on their Facebook page said that the action had been carried out to ‘protest the recruitment by the Starbucks chain of 10,000 refugees, while in Spain, unemployment is over 20 percent.’

“The statement went on to point out that while Starbucks in Spain is highly financially profitable, the profits are never put back into Spanish society.

“‘The [ruling] elites generate conflicts in other parts of the planet, and in turn produce waves of cheap labor which degrades the whole of Spanish society by reducing employability and wealth in our country . . . they degrade whatever gains are made by European workers who have sacrificed so much for decades, taking advantage of the fact that the majority of ‘immigrants’ are devoid of conscience and of the fight for workers’ rights.’

“Instead, the HSM statement said, the pro-invasion policy is presented as ‘false solidarity which repeats the mantra of political correctness, with its ‘refugees welcome’ approach being used to morally justify’ the exploitation of the workers.”

In America, Starbucks faced similar outrage over its announcement to hire 10,000 refugees, with critics asking why the company wouldn’t extend the offer to U.S. veterans.

  • Darin Warren

Yup. I WAS a big Starbucks coffee drinker. No more. Buh bye.

  • Tm.

I can truthfully state I have not had more than four Starbuck coffees or any of their products in my lifetime. I always found their coffee to be burnt tasting and it is expensive. I make my own brews and no store can touch mine, IMHO. So boycott this store. Just do it. If you can’t make your own, there are other places.
Spain has tried to stay out of the mess. It is not going to work. One has to fight for freedom. You can’t do that, then you deserve what you get. Remember that OBL wanted Spain, as well as most of Europe. He, along with others, felt Spain belonged to them. Of course that is wrong. He pined over the almond eyes, the beauty of the Spanish women. Spain better wake up.

  • Tm.

Invasion comes in different forms. Invasion by infiltration is a slow, steady process. But watch out, it works. Haven’t you understood why the Middle East countries don’t allow in Western thought, in any form, and why they don’t even take in any refugees.

    • berserker

And no one seems to wonder how the countries of the Middle East became Islamic. No one is interested in history or the real nature of this barbaric political ideology posing as a religion.

    • StandTall

it might have worked if their co-religionists wouldn’t have rampaged through Europe and the US at the first occasion. Trump’s election (and let’s hope Le Pen’s and Wilders’) has definitely changed things.

      • Tm.

There is always hope. I have to believe that good shall prevail. The countries of the Middle East became what they now are through infiltration, war, terror.
Look at Turkey. How it fell.
The agenda of the left will cost many lives, ultimately, IMHO. Because now the situation is within, meaning inside, as in close proximity.
Perhaps it will go the other way, with conversions and dilution of fundamental thought, but ultimately they will turn to what they know, and how they were raised, when the numbers are there; just like what occurred in Bosnia.

        • StandTall

I am optimistic. But, as you say, it will cost lives.

          Really like you post, Tm!

    • az

It’s bigger than that. It’s called Jihad. Everything a typical Muslim does, legally or not, it’s some form of jihad, with the ultimate goal of worldwide Caliphate and sharia.

Just look at Cair, even if they weren’t a front for terrorists, they would spend their time doing what they really do, social & political jihad.

    • Simba

That is exactly the point. Why the refugees CHOSE European( rich ones) nations rather than going into Jordan and Saudi Arabia where they would have been comfortable.Along with economic migration, there could be more sinister motives.Who listens to this truth anyway?

  • HaplessChild

Looks like the good citizens of Spain aren’t afraid of instigating a little ‘pushback’.

  • Mahou Shoujo

Typically stupid socialist government, take a bad situation, like chronic unemployment, much of it caused fro a few years ago when spain went”green energy” which destroyed its faltering economy, hence the absurdly high unemployment rate. Now it imports a hostile culture to take what few jobs there are, bring political and religious disruption to a faltering nation.

    • StandTall

actually no. Spain didn’t go ‘green’. The money received was stolen by Aznar’s friends (GW Bush’s buddy). And no, Spain doesn’t accept immigrants from Muslim countries. Spain’s problem is immigration from South America.
Spain is not a ‘faltering’ nation. It ended fascist rule only 30 years ago, and is recovering. On what planet do you live?

      • Mahou Shoujo

Not the same one as the hallucinations you are getting on your brainless wave receiver are sent from.

        • pipo

Where can I buy this receiver, sounds a lot of fun. Don’t tell me in Andalusia.

      • mariaveintiuno

I was born in Spain in 1944 and many of my family still live there … your post is complete nonsense The Spanish tolerate the South Americans as they speak Spanish and are also Catholics.

They hate Muslims and want the ones who are scrounging a living by drug dealing thrown out of the country.

PS. I am an enthusiastic Franco supporter, he saved Spain from the Communists – and people like you!

        • StandTall

I just said that compared to other European States (France, Germany) Spain has few Muslim immigrants. That is correct, no? It is also true that there are many more immigrants from South America in Spain than in other European Countries. About the Spanish liking them or not, my comment is really only based on comments of a few Spanish friends – who didn’t like them, and thought they brought crime. I was quite surprised by that because South Americans are nice people, and you share culture and religion with them. And you seem to confirm that.

        • IzlamIsTyranny

And Franco didn’t sell Spanish Jews out to the f’ing nazis.

  • Maranatha

The sign in this picture–half covered by the protester– reads in English :
”Here they hire refugees while you are jobless”.
(Aquí se contrata refugiados mientras tú estás en paro).

  • Rog Stresman

It might be seen as a humanitarian gesture by Starbucks except that the vast majority of “refugees” are not refugees at all in the true sense of the word, but economic migrants – many would say parasites – drawn to the welfare honeypots of prosperous Europe. In any case, most will have no interest in applying for asylum in Spain, but will be heading for the benefits-generous and multiculturalism-obsessed countries like Britain and Sweden.

    • Jimmy was a Koranderthal

We have the English Channel ;) most will go to Germany, France – and as you say – Sweden…..

      • Rog Stresman

The Channel definitely helps! But for the people smugglers it’s no big deal and they’re still managing to get thousands in. Until Britain shuts off the welfare tap and stops treating black Africans and Muslims as protected species, they’ll keep coming. Remember Calais? Ten thousand “migrants” with 20+ countries of the EU to choose from, but every single one determined to get to Britain, and only Britain.

        • Jimmy was a Koranderthal

Certainly don’t disagree with any of that, as I’ve always felt the very same…..

  • shirley versace

Boycott these traitors to the west

    • Jimmy was a Koranderthal

Many in the UK already do, as they pay so little in Corporation Tax, here…..

  • Robert Furness

I Sincerely Hope The Spanish Authorities Will Not Allow Starbucks To Bring In These Radical Muslims Because Spain Will End Up Like Other Parts Of Europe Being Totally Destroyed.
The Women Will No Longer Be Safe Even Men Could Also Be Attacked, Plus The Safety And Security Level Of Citizens In Spain Will Most Definitely Increase. Leaving Spain Wide Open To Terrorist Attacks Not Acceptable At All

  • Dawn Gregg

Where can I get a sticker?

    • NickandLynds

      I was wondering the same.

  • JacksonPearson

Another leftist fool that’s going down. Let Starbuck’s pander to al Qaeda, ISIS/ISIL and see how their sales go… Scru em!

    • Dr. Doomsday

You forget, plenty of lefties in places in places like Seattle will keep drinking their coffee milkshakes, and buy into their social activist programs at Fourbucks.

On the “Day Without Immigrants” can we get a per diem reimbursement of the welfare we support them with?

Spain had a problem with this about 1200 to 1300 yr ago (and then they turned around and did the same damn thing in the Americas (Cortez, Pizarro, all that)).

  • Susan steffen

    Resist THE INVASION!

  • Kim Dianne

Why would Starbucks do this..they have to know they are starting trouble…simple solution do not buy at Starbucks..see how they like going broke…they must be hiring these ppl on less money hmmmm, lol I just answered my own question

    • Badger

Isn’t their CEO gay? We all know gays want to live under sharia.

  • Aniruddha

Way to go, Spain! At least you’ve shown that you’re not a country of cowardly pussies, as some others in Europe.

    • Badger

They bottled it after the Madrid bombings in 2004. They switched their vote for the party the muslims wanted them to do.

  • skipsart

Boycott Shariabucks and buy coffee from Black Rifle Coffee. Black Rifle Coffee, in protest of Shariabuck’s wanting to hire 10,000 terrorists, is to hire 10,000 Veterans. Google Black Rifle Coffee to find out more.

    • IzlamIsTyranny

      Exactly, f$(k starbugs.

      • StandTall

yeah, what is it with Starbucks anyway? What are they up to? Starbucks won a bid to finally open a cafe in Milan in the city center, and to redecorate a small part of the famous (and religious) Piazza del Duomo; and the f**kers planted a row of palm trees and banana trees! Granted, palm trees grow in some areas in Northern Italy, and the whole thing is exotic. But this smells of Arabization. Why, Starbucks??

    • StandTall

not sure whether this is of interest to you…I hope it is. Starbucks funded a re-decorating of the Piazza del Duomo in Milan, Italy, the one adjacent to the magnificent Christian Cathedral, planting a row of palm trees and banana trees. Definitely Boycott Starbucks!

  • conan_drum

SBUX will soon regret this decision when thousands of people boycott their shops. SBUX is in a very competitive industry and there are plenty of places to get one’s coffee

    • IzlamIsTyranny

Actually that’s untrue, Starbugs destroyed their only competition at least in Caliphornication.

  • Drew the Infidel

I would seriously question the intelligence of anyone who would wait in line to purchase an $8 cup of mediocre coffee.

  • Florian75

Now THAT is how you push back against the insane cabal of pro(re)gressive corporate globalists. Post them on Starburkas worldwide, and find another coffee house.

This is what you get for trying to enforce a rich country’s leftist Political Correctness into one which PC is still low and has a serious unemployment problem. You get backfire and bad PR up you butt.

Best advice is to stay quiet, pretend you didn’t went through with the hiring, or Starbuck’s finished in Spain. There’s a lot of local coffee franchises that would celebrate that.

  • Dan Knight

Starbucks stands with rape-refugees … it takes courage to support an ideology of hate, intolerance, pedophilia, and misogyny enforced by barbarians willing to kill innocent people in the name of their “god.”

    It’s very open minded …

/s – better put a sarc alert on this as I know Libtards who believe it.

  • Darin Warren

I really liked SB coffee, at home. In my extensive search, I finally just found an acceptable alternative. It’s called Caribou.
