Hero of freedom Narain Kataria, RIP

32

It is with great sadness that I note the passing this week of my dear friend and colleague Narain Kataria, President, Indian American Intellectuals Forum and charter member of our Stop Islamisation of Nations Sikh-Hindu Coalition.

Kataria left
Narain Kataria, left, at our Rally for Freedom Against the Ground Zero Mosque in 2010

For years I proudly stood with Narain against the forces of terror and hatred. Narain was one of the very few people who saw the jihad threat clearly and wasn’t afraid to stand against it. Back in 2010 he challenged the prevailing willful ignorance, saying: “There is no such a thing as a “War on Terror” because terrorism is only a technique, a tool, a tactic in a much larger war — Universal Jihad. Universal Jihad is a threat to the entire free word, and it is a war that can be won only if we acknowledge that it’s a war against humanity.”

Narain was a fearless defender of the Hindu people. He was at event after event, rally after rally, and always stood without apology for the truths others wouldn’t dare acknowledge, as he said: “Radical Islamists wiped out Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan who were 25% of their population in just 60 years, driven away 350,000 Hindus from Kashmir in India and are now targeting United States.”

Read: The Muslim Jihad Against Hinduism, by Narain Kataria. Above all, stand up the way he did. Speak unwelcome and unpopular truths the way he did. Become an activist and a freedom fighter, the way he did.

Narain understood as few do the need for unity and an international coalition of foes of jihad oppression and violence, and he embodied that unity in his actions. He will be sorely missed.

Pamela Geller's shocking new book, "FATWA: HUNTED IN AMERICA" is now available on Amazon. It's Geller's tell all, her story - and it's every story - it's what happens when you stand for freedom today. Buy it. Now. Here.

What an amazing man standing up for the rights of Sikhs at the mercy of jihad.

  • swpbbls

We will see you again, Narain.

  • Isabellathecrusader

    May he rest in peace.

    • Futura Logic

Please do not RIP! Not applicable to Hindus!

He was cremated and did not rest underground in a coffin waiting for “Judgement Day”, there is no such belief among Hindus. For Hindus the belief is that body is temporary and can be burnt while the atma (soul ) is immortal and undergoes reincarnation!

  • Hans

Look at the way he is shacking Pamela’s hand, warm and caring – it seems he cared for the US as well.

  • Paul A Hall

I’m sorry for your loss Ms Geller!

  • godbeauty

Thank you, Pamela, for sharing your friend of FREEDOM with us. Yes, may he continue his work with you from HEAVEN. That, is, if, that, if he is at liberty to do so.

  • Lia

May he rest in peace. May G-d comfort his family.

    • Futura Logic

      a minor correction:

      • Lia

I know about the cremation & reincarnation, but I thought the person’s spirit rested inbetween. Mea culpa! Thank you for teaching me.

Narain Ji Kataria or the “general’ as he is fondly called lead the sheepish Hindus out of the heavy sedative of Gandhi’s Pacifist Extremism and fads of ‘hindu-muslim Unity’ which blinded the hindus from seeing the steady decimation of hindus by Islamists like total uproot of Hindus from kashmir valley, Bangladesh and border districts of Assam. He stood for the helpless girls snatched by muslim rape gangsters in pakistan. He made hindus understand ‘united We Stand, divided we fall’ and always stood for Israel and Jews whenever they were attacked, from Yom Kipur wars to Stabbing spree just last few weeks. His words of encouragement to grass root activists will be deeply felt and missed. A friend of humanity and a heroic father figure has departed the battle field, though his memory and inspiration will help the rest carry on the Good fight. Long live the name of Narain Ji the General!

  • Mahamritunjay

Why RIP? Was he a christian ? Was he buried? As per Hindu philosphy We comes back after death. we says may god gives peace to his soul.Isn`t is a fallacy to use RIP for a Hindu?

    • Vijay

They don’t mean anything bad. What you must see is that the readers are genuinely providing condolence for his death. It is not necessary for non Hindus to know of all customs of Hinduism. As long as they know that we would stand with them in the final battle against jihad, it would suffice.

      • Mahamritunjay

They means ignorance of both them & you. How will they now if we do not tell them.I am not talking about sentiments, I am talking about ignorance of our Philosphy,This is nothing by byproducut of colonial slavery. Our minds are still slave . Slowly we will forget our customs & ritual , what makes us unique & that will be end of Hindus. If we do same things as christians do , that means we are as good as christians. Then you can say RIP Hinduism.

        • Keith

Why take offence, surely in a truly multi cultural society when someone from one religion says whatever they say in their religion to commemorate the dearly departed to the family of a deceased person of a differing religion the family of the departed would see truly that they are expressing their heartfelt sympathy with the remaining family and not that the actual words are not what they would say. And I am sure as a Hindu you still get upset over the death of a loved one even though you believe that he will return.
To take offence, to me, seems to be a very muslim attitude, after all they will take offence at anything and I am sure we are all better than that.

        • Vijay

Your immature statement, calling me a colonial slave, is truly reflective of your narrow mindset. Please do not look at the exact words being said. Look at the intent with which the words are said. Being a true Hindu, you must be able to understand intention from words. It is the intent that matters. Not the exact words.

        • Vijay

By the way, for someone like you who despises anything Non Hindu, what are you doing in a majority Christian and Jewish website?

          • Mahamritunjay

you know , you are correct, I am at wrong place , good byee

        • Vijay

Ahh forgot to tell you. Your name has a typo. It should be Mahamrityunjay and not Mahamritunjay. Please polish your sanskrit as well.

    • Rajesh Patil

True — for a Hindu R.I.P. is not to be used.
R.I.P. (Rest in Peace) is for Muslims and Christians. Because,
according to their belief- they have to wait (rest in buried condition) till
the ‘Judgement Day’ or ‘Kayamat Day’ after their death. There is no
‘PunarJanma’ (re-birth) for them. But for
Hindus, there is a ‘PunarJanma’ which continues till ‘Moksha’ is
attained by an individual. Wishing R.I.P. for Hindu means – ‘S/he will NOT
Get ‘PunarJanma’ or thereby ‘No Moksha’ for deceased ! —
Isn’t it kind of ‘Shaap’ or curse for Hindus ?. This is a result of Christi
education on us ! It works subtly – not realised by majority of Hindus as to
how it ‘Kills’ our Dharma !

  • Uselesscrap

    So very sorry.

  • Uselesscrap

    So sad.

  • Nat’s daughter

Always sad when a courageous, Freedom loving person dies. Pamela, so sorry for your loss, and ours.

  • Rajesh Patil

Shri. Narain Kataria is/was a true Valiant Hindu DharmaVeer (Fighter for Dharma). He was fearless and always inspiring for new generations like us !! I doubt he ever tired !! was always in Action ! He will take PunarJanma (Re-Birth) and would join the forces against 1s1amik Jihaad and would successfully defeat them, I am sure. His last ‘post’ was about thoughts on Veer Sawarkar – “One alternative for the survival of
Hindu Nation is to emulate Veer Savarkar, the great Hindu revolutionary and fearless freedom fighter, who had said that “Militarize Hindus and Hinduize Politics”. Jai Hind! Very truly yours, Narain Kataria” – Hence, Hindus and all the forces against 1s1amik Jihaad for that matter should join the hands and try to work on the wish of Narain Ji. That will be a ‘True’ homage to him !!

  • LindaRivera

I’m shocked and saddened to learn of Narain Kataria’s passing. He boldly spoke the truth. A Warrior Against the Murderous Evil of Islam. I feel privileged to have known this brave Hindu at street demos. The very first one, several years ago in Washington DC. I and a friend were given a ride to DC by the Hindus who were very hospitable and put us and other demonstrators up for the night in one of their homes and served us delicious Hindu meals. Thanks for the memories, Narain.

Kataria your obsession was not pro Hindu but anti Muslim….wish people can live for something better than to hate

    • canuckistan666

People like you are hateful. He stood up for the rights of Hindu in their ancestral homeland. He is a hero. One soul like his outshines millions of dark souls like yours.

  • Susan

India has suffered the most by islamic invasions. Estimates are anywhere from 80 million to 200 million hindus slaughtered by muslims. Islam grew by convert and die and dare to leave and die. India has continued to fight the onslaught of islam. God bless India.

  • Futura Logic

Thank you for the writeup! But a minor correction:
