‘We are going to kill you’: Villagers in Burma recount jihad violence by Rohingya Muslims

“Pamela Geller tested the First Amendment and America failed”

Excellent editorial over at Israel National News, read it:

“Pamela Geller’s War On Radical Islam And Everybody Else”, By Jack Engelhard, Israel National News, May 5, 2015

Pamela Geller tested the First Amendment and America failed.

Have you hugged a Jihadist today? Everybody else has. Have you trashed Pamela Geller this morning? Welcome to the club.

Pamela Geller Free speech

Pamela Geller made a mistake. She tested the First Amendment and the First Amendment lost.

This fighter for Israel, this battler against Radical Islam can seem to find no friends after what she did.

She tried to prove that America is not France, where 11 were murdered by Islamists for printing Mohammad cartoons, nor are we the Netherlands, where Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s partner, Director Theo van Gogh was murdered for his documentary Submission, which exposed Islamist mistreatment of women.

This cannot happen in America, assumed Miss Geller, here in the land of the free, home of the brave, and she was wrong.

It can happen here, and it did…in part.

Together with Robert Spencer, Geller organized a Mohammad Cartoon Contest in Garland, Texas; obviously as a means to illustrate that America will not be intimidated. Two apparent Jihadists (with possible links to ISIS) tried to storm the event, but were killed by local police.

After that came the denunciations. No, not against the Islamic fanatics. But against Geller.

From all across the Liberal dials, plus The New York Times, came blasts of outrage against Geller for being “provocative” and “asking for trouble.”

But Conservatives? They too piled on. Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League, Don Imus – all those and others want her scalp.

Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum was especially harsh during this morning’s interview with Geller.

Better, they allege, if Geller would hush up and forget the First Amendment. Safer, they suggest, if we submit and become a nation of wimps.

There was a time, among journalists especially, when Americans were unafraid and quick to speak their minds.
Imus, legendary as a shock jock and as a man who fearlessly speaks his mind, was astonishingly disapproving of Geller, and fearful.

“When you inflame people,” he said, “what else can you expect?”

Well, Don, you can expect a touch of support for a woman who champions free speech.

Besides, how can you inflame people, these Jihadists, who are always on fire anyway?

Robert Spencer writes bestsellers and runs the Jihad Watch website to reveal outrages committed in the name of Islam. Ditto Geller who refuses to be stopped in support of Israel and in exposing the encroachment of Islamic Extremism. They are brave. Are they the last of the brave? Read this.

There was a time, among journalists especially, when Americans were unafraid and quick to speak their minds. We saw this from last week’s PBS program about Vietnam, which featured reporters going after LBJ and Nixon with a vengeance. Compare that to today’s reporters who remain putty in the hands of Obama.

Seems that we have trained ourselves to be compliant, passive, easily cowed and entirely too close to being cowards.

If freedom of speech is not worth fighting for – what will we give up next?

Jack Engelhard writes a regular column for Arutz Sheva. The new thriller from the New York-based novelist, The Bathsheba Deadline, a heroic editor’s singlehanded war on terror and against media bias. Engelhard wrote the int’l bestseller Indecent Proposal that was translated into more than 22 languages and turned into a Paramount motion picture starring Robert Redford and Demi Moore. Website:

Pamela Geller's shocking new book, "FATWA: HUNTED IN AMERICA" is now available on Amazon. It's Geller's tell all, her story - and it's every story - it's what happens when you stand for freedom today. Buy it. Now. Here.

O’Reilly is rampaging against you again. He once again demonstrates he has no understanding of what jihad is or is trying to accomplish. Jihad is the struggle in Allah’s cause to establish sharia and to make Islam the only religion. Terrorism is one critical component of jihad to “strike terror in the hearts of the unbelievers.”

But with people like O’Reilly and Laura Ingraham submitting to sharia restrictions on our freedoms it may not be necessary for the jihadists to strike terror any more. The O’Reilly-Ingraham peace through surrender strategy is fascinating. But I suspect that in the long run it will only lead to centuries more suffering.

I think there are many western Muslims who use pc as a cudgel to brow beat non Muslims into submission…

Unfortunately many so called conservatives are shackled by this. Btw who made the pc left the arbiters on everything?

I don’t know who is more totalitarian and anti free speech… the Muslims or the Dems…

      • DemocracyRules

When Andropov was head of the KGB in the early 1970’s, he built strong links to Islamists, and trained them in terrorism, airline highjacking, bombing, etc. Every opponent Israel has faced has been armed with Soviet/Russian weapons.

If Islamists/Dems/Socialists seem similar, it’s because they are.

I applaud all of your efforts and admire you very much for it.

So the plan by our “betters” is not to rock the boat and upset all those angry islamists anymore than we have to. We’re supposed to tip toe around people who behead others for being infidels. Are they planning on converting any time soon? Got their orders in for prayer rugs and burqas? They seem to have no problem offending other religions, so why give islam a pass? We’re all targets no matter what we do, so I prefer to tell those islamists to stuff it.

    • NoTroll Zone

      • rambler

Settling for just insults for those who behead is way too kind. There needs to be justice for those who lost their heads. When a religion makes it a crime to be an infidel, then those islamists who follow that religion should not be surprised when they get what’s coming to them.

          • rambler

So many things are an insult to islamists. The list gets longer every day. At some point one can’t care what insults them. One can’t get a reasonable response from unreasonable people. A bunch of 7th century world domination wackos should not be allowed to hold the world hostage. I didn’t sign on to submit to their sharia and they won’t be scaring me or forcing me into it either.

      But what about Meghan Kelly?

      • Fromafar

She’s the “up and commer”….They do not want to do anything to tee her off. O’Reilly has run his power to as high as it will ever get.
Megyn is still on the rise.

Hopefully Sean Hannity at 10pm will also step up to the plate. He is friends with Pam Geller and has never seemed to kow tow to management (which is why he’s at 10pm now and no longer at 8pm like he used to be).

        • Steve Cusick

Fromafar I agree with almost everything you’ve said. But I don’t see any Fox corporate directive on this. That notion give those corporate types way too much credit and suggests capabilities beyond their dreams. Occam’s razor suggests that OReilly and Ingraham are simply stating their own (stunningly wrong-headed) opinions. O’Reilly’s opinion is consistent with his constantly telling everybody what to do — his school-marm streak. And living in the N.E. bubble can wear you down.

          • Fromafar

I hope to publish a guest op ed on either Robert Spencer’s and/or Pamela Geller’s blog about what I call, “The O’Reilly Gang”. It should be published almost certainly on the I’ll keep you posted.

  • Michael Wallis

Besides exposing the jihadists in our midst, Pamela has also exposed the fraudulent “conservative” media establishment for the corporate puppets they are. The corporate media elites have declared a fatwa agianst Pamela and Robert. They will be ceaselessly hectored by hack Fox and ex-Fox babes and boobs like O’Reilly.

All of this is not surprising. The left would like to eliminate their opposition too, if they could, so they are in simpatico with Islamists. No? They are fining and jailing Bakers and Pizza shop owners who oppose being force to comply with homosexual demands. They already kill babies, what’s a few anti-Islamists. So the MSM attitude was predictable. Could have told her that beforehand. Anyone (and there apparently are few of us) who has read the Koran and the Haddiths knew that the sociopathic murdering Islamists would attempt to murder Geller and Spencer. In fact, as they probably know, that is still not off the table just because they beat back two would-be murderers. I have no doubt that they are targets for the psychopathic Islamist from now on, like Salman Rushdie, etc. Pray that St. Michael protect them from all harm.

    • IReadYourBookRommel

      Also from the article:
“But Conservatives? They too piled on. Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League, Don Imus – all those and others want her scalp.”
Uh, guys, these are RINOs, not conservative (except for Bill Donohue, who speaks out a little rashly sometimes.) I almost always agree with Donohue, but not on this. I’ve read the Koran and Haddiths. Can no longer fool me.

I guess if one follows Laura Ingraham’s logic about not criticizing Muslims because there are so many, then one should bash Jews because they are so few. Never mind the rightness of the Jewish cause in the Middle East. Middle Eastern policy by abject cowardice and timidity is evil and even impractical as anyone who knows the Middle Eastern Oriental mindset know. Oreilly and Ingraham view the Middle East through their occidental arrogance and are too lazy to try to understand the mindset of the people they are so desperate to appease.

Ratings don’t matter anymore. Glenn Beck was taken off Fox despite the fact he had great ratings at the time. I admire Megyn Kelly, but I find myself if she’s going to be experiencing any blowback for her courage to challenge the lie that Pamela Geller (not even the AFDI who hosted the event) is somehow responsible for izlamic violence.

      • Fromafar

Actually, Beck makes way more money now than he did at Fox.
He and Ailes had ego collisions and Beck wanted even more leeway in his show. As such, he left, makes megabucks and the rest is history.

        • IzlamIsTyranny

That’s great! I wonder if the same can be said of Lou Dobbs, practically the only person I can think of on CNN who ever criticised pi$$lam for what it was.

      • Yankie Ang

What lie Pamela Geller said you’re talking about?

The public can draw, mock Jesus & mock Christianity big time but Christians will not become violent even they don’t like it.

If the public draw Muhammad only, Muslims become Barbaric Jihadist Homicidal and many People (Infidels/Kafirs) Dies.

Freedom Speech is a right for everyone and the “Issue” here is not the drawing of a person (which Journalist do with Politicians) or Pamela But the “Ideology of Islam” that clash with “Freedom of Speech” (All over the Middle-East, people are arrested & sentence to death (Sharia (God/Allah) Law) for even questioning their faith which result in either a death sentence for insulting the prophet or apostasy or being honor killed. I had relatives that were murdered in a concentration camp in the 1940’s by the SS. I wonder sometimes what it was like before that happened. What were the signs in German society that might have given an indication of what was to come. Did people lose their courage to speak out against the coming darkness? Did they fall into line with the savages amongst them? I see Muslims as savages. As future tyrannical rulers if this capitulation continues. We need more Pamela Gellers, not less. GO PAM!

    • DemocracyRules

Things in Germany were a lot like they are in the US right now. The National Socialists (NAZIs) fostered constant street disturbances, to keep the country off balance. They exacerbated racism and ethnic hatred. They built their own internal armies that were loyal only to Hitler (Gestapo, SS, SA.) They expanded government to enormous size. They nationalized many businesses. They forced income leveling onto the people, with huge taxes and cradle-to grave ‘services’.

Many large businesses were permitted to remain, but the Nazis took control and told the businesses what to to produce, and in what quantity. Eugenics was everywhere. “Undesirable” people, like mental patients, the retarded, Gypsies, midgets, and dissidents were euthanized/liquidated in large numbers. Certain people were encouraged to reproduce, while large numbers of undesirables were sterilized.

      • DemocracyRules

They banned free speech and took total control of all media. Every single news item, art piece, magazine, or book was subject to censorship, and all messages in all media were required to promote the Nazi ideology.

And of course, they seized all guns owned by the populace.

        • DemocracyRules

More than 6 million Jews, plus 6 million others, plus 25 million Russians died. The total mortality from the period 1930 to 1945 was about 70 million. This includes 30 million Chinese who were liquidated in Manchuria by the Japanese.

          • DemocracyRules

The Soviets were very similar. They routinely liquidated the top 10% in all communist areas. They have liquidated 100 million so far. When Bill Ayers, leader of the Weathermen was asked how many he would liquidate, he said 25 million, roughly 10% of the US population.

          • DemocracyRules

When the Soviets took over the Nazi death camps, they made movies showing the Nazi victims. Then the cleared the camps, and used them for the prisoners of the communists.

In The Bridge at Andau, his nonfiction account of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, James Michener shows how the newly-arrived Soviets in 1945 hired the same guards as the Nazis had used in the same camps. The guards just had to start wearing new uniforms of a different color.

          • DemocracyRules

Excellent point. I did not know that.

      • Covadonga

Just as American politics is flooded with Islamic, Chinese, Russian, etc. money from corrupt regimes and terror networks abroad, (think Clinton Foundation, but also “Republicans” Grover Norquist and his sidekick Suhail Khan) Germany was infiltrated and influenced by the Soviets under Lenin, then Stalin.

Victor Suvorov has claimed in recent years that Hitler and his National Socialist German Workers’ Party at an early point in their history, when they were still unknowns, were chosen and funded by the Soviets to rise to power in Germany. The aim was to create a situation in which Germany would take out France, then disperse its own armies to other parts of the world (North Africa, Scandinavia), leaving all of Europe vulnerable to invasion by a colossal Soviet offensive army.

Hitler’s generals sussed out Stalin’s intentions, and invaded him before he could invade Europe. Stalin’s colossal army was destroyed or captured in the opening days of Fall Barbarossa, the Wehrmacht’s surprise counter-offensive eastwards that came just weeks before the scheduled Communist invasion westwards.

But, anyway, the Nazis and Communists were often allies, and Suvorov makes a serious case that the former were largely a creation of the latter.

Both took funding from the same Western banks, as well, just as many corrupt regimes today take money from the successors to the same banks.

        • DemocracyRules

Thanks for this. Very interesting. In my view, Stalin’s propaganda that the NAZIs were right-wing was one of the most damaging of political lies in the last century.

Conservatives want liberty, and oppose big government because ti threatens liberty. The extreme right wants even more liberty, and even less government (Libertarians).

So of course, conservatives, the right, and most Republicans oppose all forms of communism, Marxism, and fascism, because they all build huge governemnts that crush liberty.

          • Steve Cusick

DR – Note too the left-right inversion in describing grades of communists. Most would agree that communism is as far left as you can get; left of socialism. So the more communist, the more left, right? Wrong. Throughout the cold wear popular culture referred to the most devoted communists as “hard-liners,” “right-wing” and “conservative Soviets,” while reformers like Gorbachov, who were actually try to pull things rightward toward a more free market approach, were described as “more “liberal” and “trying to liberalize” things. “Liberalism” there consists of less state action and more free market and thus means the exact opposite of what it means here. And the furthest left can be called right-wing it we don’t like them, because that’s what right-wing means: people we don’t like.

          • DemocracyRules

Interesting. These labels have been badly abused.

The Austrian economist Hayek famously discussed the bizarre and illogical claims among American leftists that they are ‘liberal’. They are not liberals, it was the framers of the Constitution who were the most famous liberals. They rejected royalist tyranny, and transferred power to the people. Liberals (Whigs) in the US and Britain rejected the devine rights of kings (e.g., John Locke, The Framers, Edmund Burke). Conservatives (Tories) wanted all power to remain with the king (e.g., Hobbes, Leibniz, aka, Dr. Pangloss)

In France, the royalists sat on the right of the king (a driot), and the liberal anti-royalists sat on the left (a gauche).

In the US, socialists knew they were disliked, and they may have deliberately obfuscated their intentions with the labels liberal, and/or progressive. But the ruse eventually failed, and the majority of Americans now disapprove of ‘liberalism’.

So American conservatives aren’t conservatives, they are classical liberals, and liberals are not liberal. they are socialists. And socialism is akin to royalism, where one man holds the power. But I’m sure you knew all this.

I hope to see more open discussion about the vision, goals, and aspirations of American classical liberalism. Right now we are focused on our grievances against the socialists/Islamists. We need to also focus on our goals.

Read Suvorov’s 2 recent books, Icebreaker and The Chief Culprit.

The whole Japanese invasion of China takes on a whole new meaning, also, when you learn about Operation Snow and realize that Stalin used his puppets in the Washington, Tokyo, and Chungking administrations in a coordinated triple play to convince the Japanese to invade China and bomb Pearl Harbor. Faced with a two-front war to their east and west, Japan had no ability to look north and take on the USSR.

When Richard Sorge, Stalin’s German Communist spy in Tokyo, produced the evidence of the success of Operation Snow, Stalin immediately ordered an army of 1 million men from his border with China and Japanese-occupied mainland Asia to head west on the Trans-Siberian Railway. It arrived just in time to keep Hitler from taking Moscow.

But Stalin’s army to invade Europe was by far the largest army the world has ever seen. The reason we don’t hear more about it is that the Wehrmacht took most of it out in a few days because they struck first, achieved complete tactical surprise, and the Soviet army was only equipped, trained, and positioned for offense, not defense. (Chapters and chapters of supporting detail in Icebreaker.)

And because the existence of the army that was going to roll to the Atlantic is an embarrassment to the “received wisdom” that Communists are fluffy lovable fuzzballs that only practice self-defense when it comes to military matters — a belief that itself is an indictment of how influential Communists have been at all levels of our educational system.

Suvorov was an inspector in the Army of World Revolution and got to fly all over the country inspecting Soviet military formations before he joined the intelligence unit of the General Staff (GRU). He was posted for a while as a librarian in the central archive of the GRU, where he read a lot of concealed stuff that convinced him the traditional account was for propaganda purposes only. Then he got a foreign posting as a spy in Austria and eventually made his way over to the Brits.

Since then he has been in the West writing books about his experiences over there and working as a historian putting info available in Western libraries together with stuff he knows from working over there. He’s the only person who has been in the right places at the right times to figure it all out. Plus he is a genius with a photographic memory and a real flair for writing prose with logic like a jackhammer combined with sly, biting Russian wit. If you’re interested in this stuff, you won’t be able to put his books down.

In formerly Soviet Bloc Eastern Europe his theories are now the accepted wisdom on the whys of the war.

For a high level view of how all this fits together on the American end, Diana West’s book American Betrayal is dynamite, and another book you won’t be able to put down. She is a genius in her own way, and has had absolute integrity in drawing conclusions where the data lead instead of where the her conclusions fit preexisting understanding and make everybody comfortable..

The only major thing she has left out so far is the financial aspect, where the same banks in New York that created the Federal Reserve worked with banks in London, Paris, Basel, etc. to finance the Czars, Kerensky’s republic, the Bolsheviks, the Nazis, etc.

The land of the once brave. The land of the once free.

    • Fromafar

We can still win, we can still get her back….
What we need is a leader with a clear moral compass. Someone who knows what evil we’re up against and can steer us to true north….

  • Steve Cusick

Pamela Gellar. Shaming the media. Shaming the elite. They cannot square this. Well done. All of the AFDI. All Y’all.

  • kingqueen

Pamela Geller ……you are my hero!!! Your bravery in the face of the cowering “talking heads” is astounding……What will we do when the Muslims get offended when their sons are taught by women??? Or when they have to work with women who are not covered??? Any capitulation will result in more capitulation…..we can see that Pamela!!!! Read the comments even on CNN……there are many people in America and Canada who know you and Robert Spencer are correct. We love your spirit (and your superior brains) Pamela!!!

    • Arthur Brown

You are 100% right-this is the beginning of the end if we give in to this-crazy!!!

  • Pray Hard

We have become a nation of Eloi. Imus, Trump, O’Reilly, Donohue, MacCallum and all other fake Americans like them can KMA in Macy’s front window on Christmas Eve!

    • Fromafar

Carefull….O’Rongly will accuse you of a promoting a “War on Christmas”….

  • Ganesha_akbar

Must have hit a nerve. Actually Pamela supports Muslim women by giving them safe houses to avoid honor killings. She’s also a brave advocate for Secular Islam and their courageous St. Petersburg Declaration. But you wouldn’t know any of that because you’re an ignorant know-nothing parrot.

Here we see another specimen of today’s Quislings who don’t confront real evil; and hate those who do. You can see this on almost any school playground. The kid who confronts the school bully is often resented more than the bully. Whether out of guilt over their own cowardice or out of fear that the one who confronted the bully will provoke the bully to lash out more, those who refuse to confront the bully often resent the one who does.

Today, Leftist-Quislings express that cowardly contempt for those of us who take a hard line with Islamo-supremacists. It’s ever our fault for provoking these bullies. Better to remain supine while the sharia law advocates satisfy themselves beheading women and children; throwing gays from rooftops; executing infidels from Mumbai to OZ to Oklahoma.

The Quisling answer: Just attack patriotic Americans as “racists, fascists, Islamophobes, xenophobes, neanderthals, bigots” (the whole Star Wars cantina of Quisling boogeymen)… and hope the crocs eat them last.

There’s a word for that: Cowardice.

    Own it, Quislings.

I’m pushing 80. Many years ago while in grade school, my folks moved and I attended a new school. I was all of 10 years old. A class bully picked on me my first day of school and I beat the tar out of him. Recently my grandson had a bully picking on him. I told him my experience — my daughter chastised me saying “wrong answer grandpa”….I told her if kids dont stand up to a bully there is NO HOPE for this country. Sadly, I see more and more folks in this land with no backbone.

      • David C. Telliho

Your correct answer is contrary to public school teachings and the liberal mindset. Unfortunately, I find it in my family too. When confronted by the bully, we should now beg him not to hurt us. And try to reason with him. I`ll be 69 soon.

  • GoodNews

So yeah, I hear the Feds were there big time: so what was their part? Just sayin.

    • DemocracyRules

If you’re referring to the FBI, they were part of the problem. They knew a lot about the shooters in advance, but took no decisive action. Just before the incident in Texas, the FBI reported that risk levels were low, and they had no evidence of incitement occurring on the internet and social media. The Texas authorities strongly disagreed.

      • fredabc123

Why were there no Muslim protesters at the event?

And don’t tell me they suddenly became free speech advocates.

        • DemocracyRules

Excellent point. To be fair, their presence may have ben overlooked by the media, since the shooting absorbed everyone’s attention. But if they were there, they were probably not numerous. And of course the implication is that the Muslims who would be likely to to protest at such an event were aware that violence was likely.

In the bombing of the USS Cole in Yemen several years ago, the Yemeni dock workers all disappeared just before the explosives-laden boat rammed the side of the Cole. The dock workers obviously knew what was about to happen.

        • DemocracyRules

Good question. Maybe they were there, and the shootings drew the media’s attention away from them. But if they were there, their numbers were small. There had been a lot of threats and other trouble signs on the Internet and social media, just prior to the incident.

In the bombing of the USS Cole in a harbor in Yemen a few years ago, the Yemeni dockworkers all disappeared just before the explosives-laden boat hit the side of the Cole. They knew what was about to happen.

TURN ON HANNITY…He’s going to have Pam Geller on tonight!….
    Sean’s the man!

    • Ganesha_akbar

Naturally he’s got zebibah-demented dopes yammering taqiya before Pamela.

Sean is out of his depth. Where’s Robert Spencer to correct the taqiya?

      • farflung

        TAQIYA singular for talk.

    • rulierose

      she’s on right now

    • Tinco Barneque

Sean’s over the top…he pushes an agenda in all he says

      • Fromafar

Sean is Sean, but at least he’s got his moral compass adjusted.
More than I can say for O’Rongly….

        • Underzog

Sean Hannity doesn’t trash Pamela Geller and gives her a hearing. That is more than O’Reilly ever did. It scares me that Sean Hannity will be out when Rupert Murdoch retires and his idiot son takes over.

          • Fromafar

Hope you’re wrong, but I have no way to know…..

      • fredabc123

        And Sean’s agenda is freedom.

The guy in the middle of the screen is doing his best “Taqyyia”……

His version of “Taqyyia” is obfuscate, obfuscate, obfuscate……

  • CurlyTheAmericanInfidel

Yup, they can dip Jesus in urine, smother Jesus in feces, etc and the LibTurds will call it art. But do the same with Muhammad, OMG! I don’t give a damn if it offends them or not. Islam is a violent religion no matter the amount of praise they pile on it.

  • Hans

RT the Russian channel had crap coverage as usual, never said much about the savages that wanted to murder people, but did spend plenty on Pamela. They need to get some direction from Putin, he would know how to report what happened. Sad when Journalist are clueless

  • Fromafar

Pamela said it! “Give me liberty or give me death”!…..
She’s got more cajones than any of the Dhimmi men who went after her.
They’re so brave, they placate the killers…..
Appeasement NEVER wins…..Pam you’re the best!

O’Reilly said he wouldn’t do it the way Geller did, yet he never did say how he would have done it. Good for Geller and good for Megyn Kelly!

    • Fromafar

Of course he didn’t. Why? Because he doesn’t have a clue in his version of a moral “spin zone”. Frankly, few people have any idea how to counter what is a brilliantly evil system. Hitler and Goebbels studied Islam. They thought it was brilliant.
Why? because it was totalitarianism in the disguise of religion? Who could beat that?
You watched the “Imam’s” tonight. They used Taqyyia well. It’s what they’re trained to do.

      • Fromafar

        And good for Hannity too!

  • StonedAngel

“When you inflame people,” he said, “what else can you expect?”

    What can I expect..??

I expect that … just as Christians had to choke down “piss Christ”…
the muslims would have to choke down Mo being depicted.

The Christians showed the nation what free speech looks like. “Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League, Don Imus – all those and others ” have just dishonored that. Their massive egos are choking off their brains obviously.

I respect and support Geller. I pray for her.. and for Israel. The right, especially.. needs her strident anti islamic voice to counter the message of the left… that islam is the religion of peace.

Most muslims live in 3rd world countries that are islamic. They are born into sharia law. They do what they are told by their imans. Many have never read the koran. They are just muslim.

800,000 of 1.4 billion of them are illiterate… so have never actually read the koran for themselves. It’s processed through the imans. And I have no doubt the imans will instruct the muslims to rejoice when the jihad takes the world.

To be more technically correct then… 25% of islam is jihadist… 50 % of islam is sitting there waiting to be told what to do… and 25% is spread through the civilized world.. secretly cheering for islam.. while lying about being peaceful.

So.. you go!!! Pamela. My heart is with you.

    May Christ keep you safe.

    • Fromafar

I agree with everything you said except one thing…
Pamela is NOT anti islamic. She is anti-sharia and anti-jihad.
These are the tenants of Fundamentalist Islam. That’s what she’s against.
We must be careful in this regard as the MSM loves to paint her with the broad brush of “Islamophobe”, “Anti Muslim, Anti Islam, etc….
She’s none of those things, but they say she is.
They’re wrong, we know it, but they have the camera and the microphones….

      • IzlamIsTyranny

How do you separate Sharia from Islam again?

        • Fromafar

Well, herein lies the genius of the evil ideology…..
Is Islam a political movement? yes
          Is Islam a religion? yes
The Quran is a document for a complete way of life.
It has totalitarian ideology from cover to cover (especially the later writings).
So how does one separate the Political from the Religion?

Here’s the answer….We can’t, they (the Muslims) either will or they won’t.

Modernized people who practice Islam, often make the choice to not take the book to it’s obvious literal conclusion.
          How many? Who really knows?
But a great many do. Do they believe and support the Fundementalists who use the evil ideology in the name of Religion? To some extent yes and to some no.

So the strict adherents to Sharia are indeed Fundamentalist Islamists.

Those who do accept the laws of the land they live in (despite the purism of Islam saying they should not) are practitioners of Islam, but not necessarily adherents to Sharia.

It’s a fine line and truly shows the brilliance of the system in regards to it’s ability to control it’s masses in the guise of religion.
Whose to say who is a Fundamentalist? Surely all the bad guy groups in the Middle East are, but what about the rest?

Again…this is the delicate balance we must watch to avoid the cry of Islamophobe and bigot.

          I will agree….it’ ain’t easy.

          • IzlamIsTyranny

All Moslem states enforce Sharia to one degree or another, all of them.

          • Steve Cusick

Well said. The Quran to them is literally the word of their God, as recited by his angel, in Arabic, to their prophet, who wrote it down word for word. Those very words. It cannot be improved upon, re-written or reformed. All Muslims believe this. So if it says Muslims must wage jihad, they must. If it says to throw homosexuals off the highest building in town, or if in the suburbs to push over a stone wall on them, they must. What we like to think of as Moderate Muslims treat much of the Quran as Christians treat the Old Testament. But those Moderate Muslims cannot criticize their brethren for doing exactly what their scripture orders them to do.

The funny thing is that this is nothing new. They have not changed. Rather, they are just professing openly that which they have always believed but kept quiet for a while to avoid antagonizing the West. The West’s pre-emptive surrender just emboldens them.

      • No Quarter

Yo fromafar, they are all one in the same. There are no “islamophobes” . That is an animal created by islam to cast a negative light on those that vocally oppose islam. It is word play to make us look evil. islam is evil. Remember, submit or die.

    • No Quarter

Stone, That sounds about right! Give an inch, take a mile. This is how it works. No one cares if moslems are offended and I think even they are not really offended. They just do what they are told to do which is line up with banners and claim they are offended. I AM OFFENDED that these terrorists have a murderous response to ever single dam thing that the free world says or does. They are only here to take over and average people are so stupid and let them. Kick that stupid cult out of America they are the same as the KKK and nazi’s they and their mosques ( terror schools) need to be kicked the *F* out of here once and for all,

  • cmh

I hate to say it but israel’s in way more trouble than America….they’re over run with muslims and cant even pray in their most holy place….what’s up with that?

    • Fromafar

Barack Obama and John Kerry is what’s up with that.
Hillary would be no different. She was the first American politician as FLOTUS to suggest a two state delusion way back in 1992.

The only answer is not if, but when Israel will finally realize they must annex the West Bank. If there is a Republican in the White House, I predict it will be between 2017-2020. The Israeli’s will have to wait out the clock on BHO. If he tries to force a Palestinian State at the UN, it may happen sooner.

It will take a few generations to quell the hate (something about not teaching 3 yr olds to be martyrs and wear suicide belts), but there is no other answer.

The “Two State Delusion” is just that. The Palestinians don’t want a State. If they did they could have had one 15 years ago.

What they want is a “base of operations” from which to continue the Jihad under the step by step plan that Yasser Arafat came up with in 1974.
Get whatever we can, he said and from there, we’ll carry on the Jihad till Israel is wiped from the Earth.
They’ve got Gaza….now it’s time to say Never Again!

    • Judi

I was there recently. Burka-clad hags are paid to sit around all day screaming “Allah Akbar” and kids are given candy to do the same. If a male and female dare to touch each other for a photo shoot, a self-appointed ‘policeman’ will run over and tell them that it is not allowed. Also, Western women must cover up any ‘flesh’ that they deem inappropriate. Unbelievable but true!

  • Southern Infadel

I believe this is still America, and we have our first amendment rights. Nobody gets upset with people trashing and doing horrible things to his image, but draw a cartoon about Mo, and everyone loses their minds. Israel, Pam does have supporters here, and we have guns.

Just proving our government has already surrendered to our enemies and has failed in their one most basic Constitutional duty, to protect America and Americans

  • Diesel Driver

Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League, Don Imus –
None of those are conservatives, not a one. If they were they would have backed Pam Geller’s right to free speech regardless of their opinion on the matter. Urging someone to shut up and go along is why I am not a member of the republican party. Donald Trump is no more a conservative than I am the queen of England. Bill O’Reilly has proven over and over that he doesn’t care about anyone’s freedom of speech by ALWAYS shouting down his “guests” if he disagrees in the slightest with their position. Ok, I’ll give the benefit of the doubt to Bill Donohue but catholics in general seem to not have a clue about following the constitution nor the word of God. Don Imus, conservative??? You’ve got to be kidding.

    • CWS

      You are exactly right.

    • 1PierreMontagne1

Islamophobia is a state of mind found in Liberals/RINO’s who rabidly fear that if you criticize Islam or it’s prophet the Muslims will come and kill you.

Liberals therefore “project” their own Islamophobia on anyone who supports free speech in the belief that suppression of free speech concerning Islam will mitigate and appease Islamic hostility directed at all Liberals.

Even at the time of 911 Americans and Canadians felt no fear of Islamic reprisal should anyone make a disparaging remark concerning Islam or it’s prophet. We know thngs became different for everyone after 911. How do Canadians and Americans feel 14 years later? How is that for
      Obama’spromised “Change”?

  • BG

I respect her spirit and tenacity, but we are a nation of snowballs in hell now. The only way to live safely with Muslims now is to not. Just say “Nice Bully!” and figure out to lure them back in their pen. I heard an Ex Muslim terrorist say that once a mosque is built in a country they consider the nation belongs to them. They are going to get bolder as Obama encourages more and more to come here. We will be fighting to keep our heads intact if we don’t stop it.

As posted at the Daily Beast . . .

    In support of Pamela:

My sometime email pal Pamela now has the distinction of being the first high profile anti-jihad fighter/blogger in the West to be specifically fingered by ISIS for the trigger twitch of their assassins. CNN and other news sources like this one, do their bit for ISIS by broadcasting the same old slander about her and her organization, calling her the leader of a ‘hate group’ that ‘hates Muslims’.

Damned fools! Idiots. Are they really that stupid or, as liberals, are they really all that used to playing fast and loose with the truth? Yes, you bet. And the truth is that Pamela has numerous Muslim friends and allies in the anti-jihad fight who do know the truth of how you can hate a person’s damn fool religion (Islam) without hating the person who is made victim, dupe and bond slave to it (the Muslim).

Get your heads screwed on straight and recognize the veritable Jewish Wonder Woman when you see her, ya bunch of ditsy and/or dizzy nebbishes. Yeah! And stop making a weapon of mass destruction from the grimy, slimy muck of your own cowardice. She makes you look and feel like the quislings ya are, and you don’t like it. You just don’t like it, do you, poopsie-poo liberal gentile and Jew. “Jew” my eye! Ya oughta find some way to see if Obamacare can get you a sort of sex-change operation where a plastic surgeon can sew you a fresh foreskin back on. All you’d need is a donor. Which, leaves me out but, best of luck to ya!

Imus got schooled this morning on his radio show by KT McFarland

She clearly helped to realize this was about “freedom of speech” and nothing else……Afer listening and questioning, Imus said he now is on the side of KT and Megan Kelly, whereas, yesterday, all Imus did was go off on Megan Kelly….. KT went onto tell him to not get fooled by “Political Correctness”…….. Bernard McGuirk just about fully believes know too, but he wouldn’t give it up like Imus did……. But conservatives piled on too. Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly – they’re not conservatives really. And Don Imus? Imus is a former heavy cocaine user who famously lost his position for insulting some black young women who were in the NCAA Women’s Basketball finals, calling them “ho’s” and worse. Don Imus always features liberal authors and personalities on his radio show. Just because someone is on a commercial station doesn’t make him a conservative – far from it.

Qur’an (6:93) – “Who can be more wicked than one who inventeth a lie against Allah?” If the death penalty is prescribed for lesser crime, then it stands to reason that it should be imposed for the most “wicked”.

Qur’an (33:57) – “Lo! those who malign Allah and His messenger, Allah hath cursed them in this world and the Hereafter, and hath prepared for them the doom of the disdained”

Qur’an (33:61) – [continues from above] “Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter.”

    From the Hadith:

Bukhari (59:369) – This recounts the murder of Ka’b bin al-Ashraf, a Jewish poet who wrote verses about Muslims that Muhammad found insulting. He asked his followers, ‘Who will rid me of this man?’ and several volunteered. al-Ashraf was stabbed to death while fighting for his life.

Bukhari (3:106) – “The Prophet said, “Do not tell a lie against me for whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally) then he will surely enter the Hell-fire.”

Bukhari (4:241) – Those who mocked Muhammad at Mecca were killed after he had retaken the city and asserted his authority.

An AMERICAN CITIZEN, Molly Norris, was forced underground by moslem death threats in 2010 because SHE HAD AN IDEA.
Pamela Geller is now under death threat by moslems because SHE had an idea.
Salmon Rushdie, Aayan Hirsi Ali, Irshad Manji, and others…ALL threatened with DEATH because they dared to criticize Islam.
By now, it ought to be obvious that there is something WRONG with Islam, NOT with people who have ideas or those who dare to speak out.

Yet Obama keeps importing moslems by the thousands into the United States. To what end?

    • DemocracyRules

      Sheila Simmons:
Thanks for this. There is no substitute for the original source documents.

The Hadith is a commentary made by various religious scholars. It’s not the “original word” of the Koran.

Many people have noted that the Koran does not forbid making pictures of Mohammed, or pictures of any other people.

The Hadith imagines it is forbidden, but it is not forbidden.

    • James

Oh! Speaking of Obama…the Gate Keeper: I have this to relate….
IT”S THE RIGHT THING TO DO, yes-no?

Removal from Office and Courts Martial

If the President and Vice President and their assigns and direct reports cannot properly execute the Statutory Laws delivered into their charge, much less, respect the confines and specified duties of the Admiralty Jurisdiction in which they work, they must be removed from office.

If the President of the United States cannot be trusted to obey our Law, defend our borders, and destroy our enemies, he can and must be straightaway removed from office so as not to further imperil the Nation’s defense and the People’s right to act as a Free People. Impeachment and such proceedings are neither necessary nor adequate. The president and all his assigns are in fact, wards of the state, and can reserve no Rights to the course of American Common Law.

Under U.S. Admiralty Jurisdiction and it’s Summary Process (being that those in the White House work under Admiralty Jurisdiction and the military command structure)

Removal for inability is imperative, irrespective of concern for majoritarian
popularity in the senate, the media, or the populace: only the course and the
limits of American Common Law and due process and such authority as extends to the defense of this Nation by the federal government: Courts Martial of the commander in chief to the course of the UCMJ.

The pompous ass O’Reilly shows just what sort of coward he is by joining the uber left in their attempt to smear the victims, instead of the perpetrators, of the Garland shooting.

  • moose

I was GREATLY disappointed with O’Reilly’s position on this and Trump’s position too……what happened to these “clowns” did they both lose their backbone and balls? I support Geller 1000% and I’m sorry that I didnt get to Garland for her meeting. Robert Spencer says he’ll have more shows like it…..I certainly wont miss the next one.

    • Dorrie

Megyn Kelly took a strong stance for what Pamela did. I was impressed!

  • marblenecltr

Pamela Geller, thank you for the great stand you took for the United States of America. The longer we wait to protect the blessings we have in our land, the greater the price to save them. The “apostle” who seeks murder and other atrocities is never above criticism and must be properly identified.

  • salubrius

Pam, If the Mafia were doing this, we would call it extortion. You are asked to give up your First Amendment rights for not being murdered. When will they start asking you to pay a jizya tax or else to start converting your religion to Islam?

  • Metatrona

Pam, I don’t know how you have the strength to fight against the Islamic monsters & their supporters (read: Americans who forgot they are Americans). God Bless you, Pam!

  • John Russelman

Hang in there Pamela and stay safe, FACEBOOK has suspended me for 30 days for my comments, I’m sure they are doing that to most of your supporters…Most of these idiots like Trump have no understanding of this threat and the rest are muslimes and their leftist allies…Good luck!

    • Dorrie

Facebook really sucks mud. They’ve blocked me from reporting anyone who says vicious things about Christians or Jews. Apparently it’s only “hate speech” if it’s used against Islam! We sure need a conservative site that is similar to Facebook, but more compatible with reality!

  • pointe_du_hoc

Well the enemies of our republic have been exposed. Fox news is one of them.

  • Nealstar

In 1977, Jewish lawyers working for the ACLU defended the 1st Amendment rights of the American Nazi party, under the leadership of Frank Collins, to march in Skokie, Illinois, a suburb with a Jewish population of 40,000, 5,500 of whom were Holocaust survivors. For anyone interested in the difference between the civilized man and savages, the details may be found by searching for the article, “Remembering the Nazis in Skokie”.

“In any war between the civilized man and the savage, you support the civilized man. Defeat jihad. Support Israel.”
    –Pamela Geller

Thank you for the selfless and indefatigable energy, as well as the extraordinary courage, you bring to the fight.

Seeing your demeanor change from patiently listening to intense focus when Alisyn Camerota uttered the words, “…intentionally incendiary and provocative” was like watching a missile locking onto a target. Watching you take it to her was the definition of nachas.

  • Geppetto

I hope there are many Americans who heartily approved and admired Ms. Geller’s spunk. To all those media personalities who hold themselves in such high esteem, you are a cowardly bunch who are abominably ignorant of what the 1st amendment to the U.S. Constitution protects. Speech that is not inflammatory, critical or abusive NEEDS NO PROTECTION. It is exactly the inflammatory, critical and abusive speech, in addition to the sweet, syrupy kind that is protected by the 1st amendment and these high level, prominent, undeservedly popular media personalities should be ashamed of themselves. Doubly ashamed because in protesting the event the AFDI held in Garland TX and expressing their revulsion and contempt for Ms. Geller while keeping their mouths shut about the two, Jihad inspired gunmen intent on killing as many infidels as possible, demonstrate how effectively pro Jihad Muslim organizations in America have succeeded in their indoctrination of the media.

America remains in a very dangerous place as long as these talking heads remain unchallenged as the “voice of modern America.” It is bad enough that the government has gone off the rails but keeping silent so as not to offend or stir the Jihadist hornets nest only emboldens the hornets. It is undoubtedly true that the Jihadists are congratulating themselves on a job well done. Victory over these western dimwits is proceeding apace. Violence, actual or threatened, shuts down all opposition and garners more obsequious, fawning expressions of multicultural, political correctness.

  • Pamela Geller did a great job showing freedom of speech to be important enough for all Americans to understand and use. Unfortunately, our American mediacrats born with freedom of speech and press used their freedoms to trash Pamela instead of giving their support to freedom of speech.
The most damage to freedom of any kind comes when those who own the freedom and use it for themselves refuse to recognize its importance for those they dislike.
America’s, used to be mainstream, Media uses its freedom of speech and press to damn Pamela for using hers.
America’s, used to be mainstream, Media no longer own America’s freedoms of speech and press. They freely gave up their ownership to the Islamist when they refused to recognize Pamela Geller’s freedom of speech. Instead, they gave in to the Islamist promise of death to Pamela Geller for using her freedom of speech.
Now we all know why America has a used to be mainstream Media. We Americans were born to be free. We rid ourselves of influence from those who used to be free. We stand, however dangerous it might be, with those who lead a life of freedom. Pamela Geller is one of those who leads a life of freedom.

  • we’re all equal

This may be a liberal/conservative thing amongst jmedia, but I gotta tell you, its not amongst the general population. I’m as left wing liberal as you can get, and Pam Geller is my hero! This is America and here we have this thing called freedom of speech – I’ve talked to many people on this issue, liberal and conservative, and the majority BY FAR support her right to free speech. If these Jihadi thugs think that Americans are going to tiptoe around them, they’re sorely mistaken.

  • “Pamela Geller Tested the First Amendment and America Failed”

BALDERDASH, America has failed nothing. The Remnants of what used to be the mainstream media has failed. It has always been a failure. It has steadily displayed its failure for the last couple of decades, after it began to be challenged by its replacement.
America has failed nothing. We are steadily drawing together to put our Constitution back in the hands of the American people, where it was created to be. The desperation of the Liberals to stop our process is losing ground. The Constitutional process we are sharing will, with the help of Jesus Christ, certainly be the winner.

That cop(s) who bought down those 2 whatever’s are heroes sure. BUT if they had bought down the cops and got inside?? God Bless you Pam please stay safe for our sakes as well as yours

Although I follow Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer’s columns with great interest, there’s a distinct underlying support for Zionism which troubles me. Much of the Middle East’s problems today stem from the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 and the immigration of Jews into the region beforehand. While I abhor the current situation in the Middle East and the spread of ISIS ‘warriors’ throughout the West, I am angry that we have all, de facto, had to become allies of Israel.

    • Mac the Nice

What a sack of silly, mindless, historically illiterate muck.

Is that your best shot, Mac? You can do better than that, surely.

        • Dorrie

YOU don’t have to like Israel, but America does! God has said, “I will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse her.” Which are you? Are you cursed?

      • DemocracyRules

Here’s a simple statement that helps wash away the mindless muck:

“If there was no Israel, and no Jews anywhere in the Middle East, there would still be strife, war, conflict, and genocide.”

There is ample evidence for this. Most of the strife, war, conflict, and genocide that is going on there is not related at all to Israel.

        • Dorrie

AMEN! And Mac the Nice is still right! :-)

    • Dorrie

Do you have any idea how many times “Zion” is in the Bible? Do you know how much God LOVES His land and His people? It sounds to me like you’re an ignorant pr!ck who voted for Zero!

  • Ragnar Daneskjold

As Ayn Rand would say, check your premises, RINOs and other news media. Amazing how Jon Stewart on the Left supported Ms. Geller while Bill O’Reilly on the right did not. Only Megyn Kelly at FOX supported Ms. Kelly. A moral philosophy, Islam, whose basic tenets include the abrogation of other individuals’ inherent rights — especially women’s — is not a positive moral philosophy. The initiation of force and fraud by the moral philosophy of Islam against other individuals’ inherent rights automatically allow the victims a right of self defense against the perps. It is easy to see that the basic tenets of Islam violate the Law of Identity, A = A and not B simultaneously, and the Law of Cause and Effect. Islam is self contradictory at its axiomatic primary since it advocates death, not life. Ms. Geller is correct in standing up for inherent individual rights, freedom of speech, and Ms. Kelly at FOX is correct in stating that it is not the “content” of free speech at issue, but rather the act of being able to use free speech. That is what many Americans and others have yet to incorporate into their moral philosophy. The Islamo terrorists are gaining the sanction of their victims through default of America’s so-called intellectuals. It’s not Who is John Galt? It’s more like Where is John Galt? Not living in America, apparently. Then again, I like Ragnar Daneskjold.

    • Mac the Nice

Okay, Ragnar, that was fun to read but does it really make your point about Aristotle’s ‘law of identity’? In other words, it sounds right to say that a ‘moral philosophy’ which advocates death and a loss of rights is “self-contradictory” but you have yet to prove it by providing the logical links in a chain of reasoning leading to that conclusion. Prove it to us, why don’t you? If you can, it will provide some good ammunition.

      • DemocracyRules

Perhaps Ragnar took these conclusions as self-evident. I certainly agree with you that the ideas are worth developing. To me it’s simple. If I start with the 10 commandments, it’s pretty clear that they all relate back to the golden rule. Our law books are full of those same ideas and rules. E.g., “Don’t steal because it hurts other people”.

People who live in settlements do better if they adhere to these rules. And settlements are proto-civilizations. There, done! This means Bible-based morality was/is key in building civilizations. People who reject Bible-based morality don’t do as well with civilizations.

How’s that for a quick and simple pass through the philosophy books?

Alright, I admit it’s not just Bible-based. Many religions give a high place to the golden rule, including Judaism, Christianity, Hindu, Buddhism, and Confucianism. The Koran does not feature the golden rule.

        • Dorrie

          “Bible” … “Civilization”

          Hope that helps…

          • DemocracyRules

Thanks. Your summary is even shorter!
I suppose we might try, “Golden Rule = Civilization.”

          • Dorrie

            Oh … and “self-evident.” “ideasas” ??
            “commandmnest”?? “pretyy”?? “becase”?? “settlementsts”?? “don’;t”??

For the most part I think I MIGHT agree, though you had so many typos and misspelled words I’m not sure. While we all make those types of mistakes, most don’t fill their entire post with them. You don’t usually get a second chance to make a first impression. You MIGHT like to take your time and type with care ;-)

          • DemocracyRules

Maybe you need to refresh your browser. I fixed the typos more than an hour ago.

          • Dorrie

From here, they’re still there. Typos that are repaired show up right away. Sorry :-

          • DemocracyRules

No problem. If yours was the worst internet abuse I ever got, I’d be walking on sunshine.

          • Dorrie

            Me too ;-)

Col Allen West sites have 3 specific virulent liberals who are absolutely brain dead. One has harassed me all week, asking for answers about the 1st Amendment, which I’ve answered. Then he called me a liar numerous times and asked more questions of which I answered and again was called a liar.

The 3 are “Uncle Ruckus”, “Brendan” and “Rafael X” … none know a THING about the Constitution, yet they argue as if their lives depended on it.

If you’re so inclined, you might want to step in and give your opinion to them. I doubt they can be educated, but who knows, it’s always worth a try.

          • DemocracyRules

They fit the profile of paid trolls. By now, many organizations and countries pay people to post comments on certain websites. The Russians have been active since at least 2008. Iran has many paid commenters posting on the Jerusalem Post.

I’m interested in the thought processes that occur in debate/discourse, and I’ve studied troll behavior quite a bit.
            Profile of a paid troll:
            – self-deprecating screen names
            – poor at discourse. Socrates and Talmudic scholars helped invent the question-answer/dialogue method to develop reasoned arguments.
            – paid tolls don’t do discourse, because it is designed to help learning and understanding. Dogma cannot be changed.
            – nothing will change their minds. They are paid to keep the same mentality.
            – they use invective and ad hominim attacks, insulting and name calling
            – they try to hijack the thread, making an outrageous statement, which attracts a long line of angry replies that go nowhere.
            – there seems to be no proof that paid trolls help the people that pay them.
            – paid Russian trolls mostly just hammer home to me how stunningly unaware Russians are about the rest of the world.
            – Iranian trolls help me understand why reasoning with Iran will do no good whatsoever.
            – if you ignore them, you rob them of income
Keep fighting, I do believe we make a difference. John Bolton says he reads Atlas Shrugs.
            – By one estimate there are only about 50,000 Americans who are actively involved in shaping political opinion. An their ideas are often forged on the internet.
            – e.g. On a website I moderated in 2008, I argued that that the democracies should unite to form a replacement for the UN. Mongolia, Botswana, Costa Rica, Chile, etc., these are democracies, and they deserve to have a strong voice. A short time later, John McCain proposed the same idea in his presidential campaign.
            – I may have had nothing to do with this. I didn’t invent the idea, and neither did John McCain
            – but at least it showed me that there is a political Zeitgeist (spirit of the time) that can be pushed forward if enough people support it.

          • Dorrie

Did you check them out on that site?? “Brendan” has been badgering me for days. “UncleRuckus” aka “Earl Lee” is a black agitator. Both are ignorant as all get out.

          • DemocracyRules

Yes, thanks, I did check out the comments on the Allan West website, and read parts of your exchange with ‘Brendan’. Some quick thoughts:

            – You are an excellent debater!
            – Brendan does look like a paid troll. His comments are recursive, returning again and again to the same points.
            – he shows no interest in changing or leaning
            – he ignores evidence that contradicts his position
            – he has a pre-set agenda: to browbeat gay marriage critics into silence.
            – he succeeds in hijacking the thread, and focusing attention on his comments
            – this interferes with the real issues that deserve discussion, about what is wrong with gay marriage and what can be done about it.
            – telling him to stop probably won’t make him stop, because he is paid to continue
            – he can be flagged for profanity or insults
            – one thing I’ve tried is to up-vote and praise all the good comments. I post replies to them, and try to ignore the trolls. It’s more relaxing than fighting tolls.
            – if I want to challenge a toll comment, I post it as a reply to another commenter, not the troll. That way, my challenge does not appear in the trolls’ ‘inbox’, and they are less likely to counter my challenge with insults.
            – ‘heh’ works quite well as a reply!
            – Example: You say, “The entire Constitution is based on the 10 commandments and the Golden Rule, and the Framers often said they were inspired by Exodus, and the relentless struggle of the Israelites for freedom.”
            – Brendan replies, “Bullshit, you know-nothing.”
            – You reply, ‘heh’
            – That little word does a lot, in several ways. It gives nothing that Brendan can reply to. It often breaks the thread. It also implicitly means, “I win”.
            – Audience is important. Typically, the ratio of commenters on a thread versus the website visitors who simply read the comments, is about 10 to 1. Most visitors read, but do not comment.
            – So when we comment, we publish, we broadcast.
            – And when visitors read the thread, they know very well who makes the best argument.
            – After all, these site visitors are voluntarily visiting Allen West’s website, not Huffingtonpost. They are already likely to agree with you as soon as they click on the story.

(Gee, I hope I didn’t make any typos or grammatical errors this time!)

Absolutely astounding how these people have lost their way. Pamela Geller IS a hero. She is the only one that will publically stand up and FIGHT FOR THE FIRST AMMENDMENT. ISIS is here in the USA, that is a fact of life, and they have a camp just 8 miles from the US border in Mexico and that is a fact. Are the lefties going to allow them to just do as they please to this country for fear of being called a racist? This is a true threat to the security of this country and the citizens. They too themselves are no better than ISIS for not condemning these acts, instead they condemn the one person that protects and defends our Constitution. Sad, sad for this country.

  • Jeff Benton

I stand with Pamela on this…. islam is evil and needs to be eradicated…. islam is a political ideology, not a religion… muslims have been attacking America since America became a nation… It is a direct enemy of America by it’s very nature… Anyone who supports islam wants sharia law, not our constitution…. They are all enemies of America, and may attack us without warning at any moment…. Those who are attacking Pamela on this are by default aiding and abetting the enemies of the U.S.A.
And when the blows finally come, I will remember their treachery….
So talk about sound judgment all you want you hypocrites in the media… You will be the first to bow your knee to a false god when they force it upon you….
The rest of us will fight to the death for our God given rights….

In Chicago, New York, and L.A., and elsewhere, free speech has already disappeared. In such places, it’s common to hear people quietly say that they are conservatives at heart, but they dare not say that in public. Their jobs, their family relations, and their neighborhood standing would be in jeopardy if it became known they were conservatives.
