Trayvon Martin’s Involvement In Local Burglaries Covered Up By Media, School, Police, Prosecutors

Not only did the media and law enforcement cover up Trayvon Martin's criminal record — the attack on Zimmerman and subsequent show trial brought systemic corruption to light and led to the takedown of senior officials.

Much thanks to Andrea Shea King, Pat Dollard and The Last Refuge (who has done yeoman's work on this case):

Trayvon Martin’s Involvement In Local Burglaries Covered Up By Media, School, Police, Prosecutors

Martin Clan

Excerpted from The Last Refuge:

Ironically were it not for Frances Robles writing a Miami Herald article on March 26th 2012 an entire chain of events would not have taken place.

It was that Robles article, and the outlining of the Miami-Dade
School Police Department’s report on a Trayvon Martin incident from
October 2011, that kicked off an internal investigation by M-DSPD Police
Chief Hurley against his own officers to find out who leaked the police

[Note: The Miami-Dade Public School System has its own Police
force, and Chief, who report to the School Board and Superintendent –
Not the Police Dept. The Police Chief is appointed by the School
Superintendent, in this example, Alberto Carvalho]

October 2011

It was that M-DSPD internal affairs investigation which revealed in
October 2011 Trayvon Martin was searched by School Resource Officer,
Darryl Dunn. The search of Trayvon Martin’s backpack turned up at least
12 pcs of ladies jewelry, and a man’s watch, in addition to a flat head
screwdriver described as “a burglary tool”.

When Trayvon was questioned about who owned the jewelry and where it
came from, he claimed he was just holding it for a “friend”. A “friend”
he would not name.

Later, after the police report was outlined in the Robles article,
and despite Trayvon being suspended for the second time in a new school
year, Martin family attorney, Benjamin Crump, said Trayvon’s dad, Tracy
Martin, and Trayvon’s mom, Sybrina Fulton, did not know anything about
the jewelry case.

It was only as a consequence of the M-DSPD internal affairs investigation that “why” they may not have known came to light.

Martin Clan 2

On October 21st 2011 a burglary took place a few blocks from Krop
Senior High School where Trayvon Martin attended. The stolen property
outlined in the Miami-Dade Police Report (PD111021-422483) matches the
descriptive presented by SRO Dunn in his School Police report

However, there was ONE big issue. SRO Dunn never filed a criminal
report, nor opened a criminal investigation, surrounding the stolen
jewelry. Instead, and as a result of pressure from M-DSPD Chief Hurley
to avoid criminal reports for black male students, Dunn wrote up the
jewelry as “found items”, and transferred them, along with the burglary
tool, to the Miami-Dade Police property room where they sat on a shelf
unassigned to anyone for investigation.

A separate report of “criminal Mischief” (T-08809) was filed for the additional issue of writing “WTF” on a school locker. [It was the search for the marker used to write the graffiti that led to the backpack search].

The school discipline, “suspension”, was attached to the graffiti and not the stolen jewelry.

oCTOBER 2011 - 1

The connections between the Police Burglary report and the School
Report of “found items” were never made because the regular police
detective in charge of the Burglary case had no idea the School Police
Dept. had filed a “found items” report.

Two differing police departments, and the School Officer, Dunn,
intentionally took the criminal element out of the equation – instead
preferring “school discipline” and not “criminal adjudication”.

It was only when the M-DSPD Internal Affairs investigation kicked in,
and six officers gave sworn affidavits, the manipulative scheme to
improve criminal statistics within the School System were identified

School Superintendent Alberto Carvalho gave his hire, Police Chief
Hurley, instructions to reduce the criminal behavior of young black
males. The chosen strategy between them, to insure optical success, was
to stop using the Criminal Justice System to punish black student
behavior. Instead they instructed the School Resource Officers to use
school discipline in place of criminal justice.

Another approach was the use of The Baker Act, to quantify behaviors
under health HIPPA law secrecy by assigning the students with
psychological problems. This allowed them to again use school discipline
and work around criminal reports.

Without the reports, the statistics would improve immensely;  And improve they did.

M-DSPD Media Advisory - Copy

The final approach, to insure no-one would find out about the
manipulation, was to change the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for
inter-agency information sharing.

This new SOP was outlined by a communications directive in 2010
forbidding the sharing of Miami-Dade School Police reports to outside
agencies without redaction. Officers had to send any and all requests
through the public information officer.

Hence, the furor of Chief Hurley when the Robles article hit the press and cited police reports – Hurley smelled a leaker and launched an investigation.

Ultimately the internal affairs investigation initiated by Hurley led to his own firing, because the officers questioned told the internal affairs investigators the truth of what was going on and outed the scheme.

One of the examples of this in action was the jewelry incident and
Trayvon Martin – as accidentally outlined in the Herald report. But the
Herald never knew their reporting had launched an internal affairs
investigation which led to the collapse of the scheme.

Meanwhile the stolen jewelry from the burglary (PD111021-422483) was
sitting on a shelf in the Property Room listed as (2011-11477 “found
items) gathering dust.

Until we started digging, and the FOIA requests revealed not only the scheme, but the fact a victim was never made whole with the return of their items.

That is, until now.

Pamela Geller's shocking new book, "FATWA: HUNTED IN AMERICA" is now available on Amazon. It's Geller's tell all, her story - and it's every story - it's what happens when you stand for freedom today. Buy it. Now. Here.

  • Thanks Pamela for this bombshell story and exposing the fraud of a supposed sweet innocent 17 yr old cherub with a permanent 10 yr old face a la the lying liberal self-hating white media.
Thank you Zimmerman for taking this dirtbag off our streets. He nearly killed you, he could’ve killed many more given that he was already on the path of being a career criminal.

  • And I could definitely see him being Obama’s son, they could be from the same crime family.
One was a street thug and the other is an international thug.

  • Larry S.

Golly, don’t every guy carry women’s jewelry and burglary tools in his backpack? Oooh, maybe I’d better remove those items on off days- except ya always gotta be ready when opportunity knocks, or ya won’t get nuthin’.
Trayvon’s interesting accoutrements were the first thing I thought of when I saw the sign, “We Are All Trayvon Martin.” Speak for yourself!

  • No Stopleak for Leaky Truths

It is such a shame that little innocent infant Trayvon was shot. I am certain, with all his qualifications and character references, that he would have surely been our next president.

  • Shawn

Its amazing the things you find out when the truth comes to the surface, covering up a crime by a black kid doesn’t change the facts, no matter what the fabricated stats lead you to believe.
Catching a black kid running away from a burning building with a can of gas and a torch, doesn’t make him a poor misunderstood kid who needs to be molly coddled, it makes him an arsonist who needs to bear the full weight of the law.
Covering up a crime by a public official is just as bad, it doesn’t matter that you’re trying to color the stat by white washing the facts, tampering with the truth and perverting the course of justice is a criminal act because of its corrupt nature.

  • Tact76

International thug? Then what was your founding fathers, my ancestors slave masters etc etc? This country was founded by all the above and most were criminals kicked out of Europe history tells us this. This one president, this one young man makes everybody forget the bullshit and injustice that been going on since the native Americans “THE REAL AMERICANS” conned out of their birth land.

  • charlotte

Pamela this is a MUST READ. It traces the connections behind the scenes who colluded to bring this case to court even though it should never have been tired:

  • The real question is what was Obama doing when everybody was distracted with “his son?”

  • Tact76

Fighting with congress dumbasses that’s what he was doing!!!

  • Tact76

Sorry Larry S. this wasn’t intended for you. This was for fitna.

  • Morgan

Soo… we have pictures of Trayvon fingering the camera and smoking (NOT ILLEGAL ACTS), a picture of a gun, a document that was an interview with a wannabe cop and a document that doesn’t state his name anywhere on it. That’s definitely a reason why Zimmerman should have approached him with a gun! If someone comes towards you with a gun, black, caucasian, hispanic or otherwise you’re going to try and defend yourself… Saying that Zimmerman was the one defending HIMSELF was ridiculous… who was holding the GUN? Ps. I’m caucasian (that’s white for all you morons out there)

  • Bezelel

Saying you are caucasian is such an understatement. Let me help to elaborate.Let’s include pathetic piece of sh!t to be sure. Then I can’t leave out asshole and apparently dyslectic since you have such a problem with the facts in print.Oh there is TV so you must be stupid too!!!

  • eoniii

If you have evidence that Zimmerman started the fight or approached Martin with his gun already drawn, then you should have turned it over to the prosecutors. They had nothing to work with but speculation and dishonest emotional appeals.

  • Morgan

I’ll take your comments into account when you prove you know how to use proper grammar and spell… I doubt you could have read the facts in print either.

  • Bezelel

I have been reading since I was 4yrs old. I read,I read a lot and I’m not obliged to prove anything to you. Just a piece of free advice, learn right from wrong.

  • Bezelel
  • Bezelel
and finally I found what is described as an intelligent black man commenting on the treyvon matter, actually he is quite smart.

  • Robyn

You guys will stop at nothing. How does this pertain to Zimmerman stalking him and initiating an altercation that resulted in Martin’s murder? Zimmerman had no knowledge of his background, and regardless of if he did, he had no right to inflict harm upon him. I’m so exhausted with the evil attempts to make Trayvon out to be a threat. He was a 17 year old that did not deserve to die. End of story. No emotions. No biases. Just common sense. If only the prosecution had effectively done their job we might have seen some justice in this case. The worst part of this is that I read somewhere that Zimmerman will have his gun returned to him this week that he used in the murder.

  • Not an eloi

Was this the president , who was supposed to bring us together. No red America or blue America, just one America. What was the purpose of
This political prosecution? What was the purpose of deceiving the public. It all comes out. This is just one more awful lie
To achieve a political end. The IRS and the justice dept are all tools of oppression. The state dept concocts a movie video and sends a Coptic Christian to jail for Benghaz! Zimmerman was supposed to be a monster. The press were monsters maliciously lying withthe approval of a president intent on uncovering the dreaded sin of racism. Well, the seeds of racism have bren planted and we are reaping a bitter

  • Radegunda

You guys will never stop lying.
There is no evidence that Zimmerman “initiated an altercation.” Being outdoors in his own neighborhood was not illegal, nor did it justify Martin’s sneaking up in the dark (when Z. apparently was returning to his vehicle), punching him the face, pinning him to the ground and pounding his head on the concrete, which is life-threatening. Obviously you would prefer that Zimmerman had been murdered.
Yes, Trayvon was a threat. His phone records reveal that he was an avid and experienced fighter. He had been suspended from school multiple times for aggressive behavior.
The evidence that he had likely been involved in burglary adds credibility to Zimmerman’s observation that his behavior looked uncomfortably like someone casing homes. And the media picture of him as a sweet little angel who couldn’t possibly have been the aggressor is a LIE.
The jury was correct to determine that he was NOT GUILTY OF MURDER.

  • Bucket of Lies

I know what you mean Robyn. Trayvon was very kind and gentle, peaceful and non-biased, when he lovingly took George Zimmerman’s head in his tiny innocent hands and tried to bash open his head so he could just see what was inside of it.

  • Radegunda

Wow, you didn’t actually look at the evidence, did you?
Zimmerman was not “holding the gun” when he was attacked. He had a legal right to carry a concealed guy for protection (which, in the event, he needed). If you’re legally carrying a concealed weapon, that doesn’t give someone else the right to jump you, bash your face in, pin you down and pound your head on the concrete. If you’re ever in such a situation and still believe it’s “ridiculous” to defend yourself… good luck. You’ll need it.
The actual evidence (which you obviously disregarded) says it was Martin who “approached” Zimmerman (stealthily) when Zimmerman was returning to his vehicle. Martin was an avid street fighter. He could easily have gone back into his father’s girlfriend’s place (where he said he was when he first began talking to his friend), but instead he chose to backtrack and pick a fight.

  • Bezelel

Just common sense, Why was there a neighborhood watch in the first place? George took the job serious and was educating himself on the subject and for that he is called a wannabe cop.How about wannabe safe, wannabe able to sleep nights without wannabe thugs roaming the neighborhood? George needs his gun now as much as ever thanks to all the hype.

  • Radegunda

You said it more economically than I did.

  • Radegunda

Many of those “real Americans” were violent and brutal. Many of them lived for warfare. Even their womenfolk delighted in torturing people. They had essentially nothing in the way of technology or science, or settled government. They had no literature, no actual music. And they did not live in harmony with their environment.
There was plenty of injustice on this continent long before the first Englishmen arrived.
And no, the European settlers were not mostly criminals kicked out of Europe. (You may be thinking of Australia.) They saw a mostly empty continent, sparsely populated by nomads, and they migrated to escape religious oppression (for “thought crimes”?) and to find opportunity — the same way that people have been migrating around the world as long as there have been people.
The European settlers created such a superior society that people still jump through hoops to get here. That’s what Europeans have done everywhere they went.

  • robynisretarded

    >>How does this pertain to Zimmerman stalking him and initiating an altercation that resulted in Martin’s murder?<< It doesn't pertain to your made-up version of events, it pertains to what actually did happen.

  • aprilnovember811

Trayvon is dead because he put himself in a deadly situation. You can’t sit on top of someone and break their nose, and beat them up, and then expect that you will walk away.
Look at this everyone. I never heard as much outrage for this innocent baby, when he was murdered in cold blood by a black teenager? Since we’re pointing to race here, I am going to point it out.
Georgia mom says teen told her, ‘Do you want me to kill your baby?’ before son fatally shot
    Read more:

  • This is the truth. How can I post it on my “Facebook” page?

  • Look

This is not about Trayvon Martin but about the fact that it could easily have been someone else. Zimmerman’s grandmother and father were hospitalized just 10 days before he shot Trayvon and he’d been spending his nights in the hospital looking out for them and while this makes him a wonderful son this does not make him the best candidate to be out on a neighborhood patrol or to operate a gun.

  • Morgan

I’m not a heartless person, such as yourself, so I don’t wish it upon you but I think you’d be singing a different tune if it was your kid that got gunned down by someone. One human being killing another human being DESERVES a consequence. PERIOD.

  • Frankly

Not guilty of murder but he was guilty of manslaughter.Zimmerman had been arrested once too but he got the chance to better his life and become a respectable citizen, Trayvon will not get that opportunity. I would honestly have preferred that Zimmerman stayed inside and never followed him in the first place, that he would have just followed the advice of the Police dispatch.Zimmerman made an observation that Trayvon’s behaviour looked like he was casing homes but Martin could also have made the observation that Zimmerman looked like he was carrying a concealed weapon and made the move before Zimmerman could pull it on him. But we won’t get to hear if that’s possible because he’s dead. The fact that Zimmerman got off scott free and might be getting his weapon back is like everyone’s trying to say that he never shot anyone.

  • vivarto

Zimmerman’s gun in great! The more thugs he kills the better world his will be.

  • vivarto

Nobody is saying he never shot. We are saying that he did shoot, and thank God, the dangerous violent thug is dead!
He would undoubtedly have hurt many more people if he lived.

  • Frankly

He was acquitted of all charges (the manslaughter should have stuck imo) said that it was God’s plan for him to kill Trayvon and doesn’t regret it at all and might get his gun back, he is just as dangerous as Trayvon was.

  • Frankly

Someone was killed, shot in fact, in an event that stemmed from the fact that he looked suspicious, it deserves a trial no matter what the law says. The legal system also acquitted OJ Simpson on murder charges putting your faith in this legal system and its decisions is not exactly the most sensible thing to do.
And Trayvon may have been a ‘thug’ but that does not excuse Zimmerman’s actions, that does not excuse the fact that the Stand your Ground laws often translate to mean Shoot first ask questions later for some people and those people are going to be encouraged by this verdict.

  • jay

This blog just confirm the underlying tones of racism amongst Pam’s readers. Like a big white elephant in the room. You even mentioned him doing some graffitti, wow if all kids who do graffitti need to get shot and killed, damn that’s one way to stop population growth.
I’m still waiting for one of you guys to link Trayvon Martin to Al Qaeda, Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR by the way?

  • Mary

Absolutely! Poor innocent and good Trayvon would do an excellent and outstanding job just like the current president!!!!

  • Morgan

I’ll say to you, what I said to that Bezelel idiot. “One human being killing another human being DESERVES a consequence. PERIOD.”

  • Mary

Just the facts, Jay. Just the facts. Read and research the truth.
To others, please educate yourselves before you start reacting. Get the transcripts of the trial if you must so you know exactly how both sides deliberated, where the evidence pointed, what information was rejected by the court, and such. Learn the laws that govern us, and if you don’t like it move to another country, so the rest of us who do not commit crimes and abide by the law can live in peace.

  • These are the types of behaviors one can expect to see when two brain-dead “parents” could not tell you within a five mile radius where their kid last took a sh*t.

  • Nicola

This is the first time I have heard that the 911 operator did not tell Zimmerman to stand down. True or false?
I understand that the jury members did not say anything and got out of there as fast as possible. They are very courageous because they must be expecting retaliation.

  • Bezelel

Now you’re on the right track, Martin was trying to kill George with his bare hands and he got the consequences.PERIOD.

  • Chris

Well, he was getting assaulted when he shot TM, next time someone is smashing your head into the pavement make sure you let them finish.

  • Chris

Your 17 year old “angel” was beating Zimmerman to death and he had every right to defend himself.

  • Mike S

That’s not the point at all.
The point is that it has not been proven conclusively who started the fight, GZ or TM. Certainly the evidence points to TM starting the fight, and our system of justice gives the benefit of the doubt to the defendant, GZ.
This background on TM tends to confirm GZ’s suspicion that TM was a burglar. Nothing racial about it at all. A stranger in the community, walking around in the dark and in the rain, looking in windows. THAT is what GZ noticed that night, NOT the color of TM’s skin (remember, when asked by the NEN dispatcher, GZ wasn’t sure – he said, “he looks black.”

  • StephUF

Your “facts” are wrong. Stand your ground did NOT apply. This is a self defense case.

  • Mike S

He wasn’t on neighborhood patrol. He was just going to the grocery store when he saw the suspicious activity (stranger in the neighborhood, wandering around in the dark and in the rain, looking in windows.)
This is not about punishing TM for being a thug (your words) or for past or present burglaries. It is about additional evidence as to who was more likely to have started the altercation. GZ was by all accounts a law-abiding citizen, an involved citizen taking part in neighborhood watch, and not at all a fighter. It was absolutely a tragedy, but TM was not a law-abiding youth, bragged about fighting, and based on that background, was much more likely to have started the fight.

  • Mike S

So there is no circumstance that would qualify for self-defense?
I am flabergasted that self defense has been a legitimate defense to murder charges for hundreds of years, and no complaints about it.

  • Lizzie Bee

And that is exactly what happened. Trayvon Martin put the beat down on George Zimmerman, and after breaking his nose, beat his head numerous times on cement. A forensic pathologist testified during the trial that if the beating had not stopped, it was entirely possible George might have died from head injuries.
The law has spoken. George Zimmerman is innocent. He defended his life.
The tragedy is that Trayvon Martin was let down by the school system, the police, and his parents. He was spiraling out of control.

  • 1harpazo

Robyn said,…End of story. No emotions. No biases. Robyn, you have got no…….clue!

  • Beagle

    “Stand down”? No.
“We don’t need you to do that”? Yes.
    Not the same thing.

  • SDN

What were our Founding Fathers? That would be found under “Winners” in the dictionary.

  • Radegunda

And didn’t Zimmerman then say “okay”? The idea that he disobeyed a police directive is certainly a lie anyway.

No one can argue that Zimmerman used bad judgment. But none of us were there and since none of us can read hearts or minds then to second-guess such a situation is sheer folly.
Perhaps the prosecution did the best job they could–maybe they just didn’t have that much to work with.
If it was entirely racial, as so many keep harping on, why did the Black juror not hold out long enough to hang up the jury?
    Maybe Zimmerman IS innocent.
Failure to even consider that would certainly mark someone as a bigot.
    Have a nice day.

  • Tired_of_it_all

It is not a police directive. A 911 operator is not a law enforcement officer and those words are not even an order. So the lie is your statement, Radegunda.

  • Tired_of_it_all

The racism is on the part of you and every other liberal who cries racism at every event. Look at the party you liberals support. It is the party of the KKK, NAACP, LULAC, MALDEF, Congressional Black Congress, La Raza, and the SPLC among many others. Nice try, but quit playing the race card. You are nothing but a race baiter in the image of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

  • Radegunda

“Martin could also have made the observation that Zimmerman looked like he was carrying a concealed weapon and made the move before Zimmerman could pull it on him. ” — Pure speculation. Not enough to convict of willful manslaughter.
It also wasn’t established that Z. refused to “follow the advice” of the dispatcher (to which he said “okay”). The evidence points to Martin being close to his father’s girlfriend’s house when he first started talking to Jeantelle – who apparently didn’t want to reveal all the contents of that conversation. For Martin to end up some distance away indicates that he must have been the one who then chose to “follow” Zimmerman, the “creepy ass cracker.”
There is no doubt that Martin violently attacked Zimmerman, in ways that were life-threatening. (A coach recently died from one single punch by a teenager.) Saving his own life was self-defense, NOT manslaughter, as the jury correctly determined. (GZ was surprised when told that TM had died.)
The argument that GZ shouldn’t have been outside is a cop-out, and absurd. It was NOT illegal for him to be outside in his own neighborhood, or to be keeping an eye on someone who appeared to be casing a house while he called the police. If the story had turned out differently – of TM had not attacked him — he’d be viewed as a responsible citizen.
That TM might eventually have become a respectable citizen is irrelevant and also purely speculative. What’s known (or knowable to those who care about facts) is that he was definitely going the other direction for a couple of years leading up to the attack, and that he was enthusiastic about fighting.
Apparently you would prefer that GZ was the one who had died, or was disabled for live, so that St. Trayvon could continue causing trouble in school and picking fights and carrying around stolen jewelry – because, who knows, he MIGHT someday straighten up.

  • Radegunda

Show us where he said it was God’s plan for him “to kill Trayvon.”
What he doesn’t regret, obviously, is that he saved his own life rather than let himself be killed by someone who violently attacked and broke his nose and repeatedly pounded his head onto the pavement.
You, apparently, would prefer that GZ had been killed or severely disabled.
Zimmerman aspired to be in law enforcement. Martin was obviously aiming for a life on the other side of the law. He was known for picking fights, and probably for being involved in burglary. Zimmerman was known for wanting to keep his neighbors safe from burglary and home invasion and violent punks who had been terrorizing them and always getting away.
To say that Zimmerman is “just as dangerous as Trayvon was” is idiotic. But at least you admit that Trayvon was, in fact, dangerous.

That’s what George Zimmerman (a man of faith) told Hannity in trying to make sense of the tragic event at Twin Lakes last year. And why not? As Trayvon Martin was a volcano of black racist angst and gangsta rage sooner or later he’d have killed innocent people if Zimmerman hadn’t lawfully stopped him.

  • Radegunda

There have been consequences. He had to go through a long, expensive trial (after the prosecutor filed a fraudulent affidavit and refused to go through a grand jury) and see himself relentlessly smeared, and he’s by no means out of the woods. He will constantly have to be wary of vigilante “justice” that’s really just mindless racial vengeance.
Here’s what I’ll say to you: “If one human being attacks another in life-threatening ways, the attacker DESERVES a consequence and the attacked person DESERVES to have a chance to save his or her own life. PERIOD.”
Zimmerman didn’t shoot to kill; he was surprised to learn that TM was dead. He shot to MAKE MARTIN STOP INFLICTING LIFE-THREATENING INJURY on him.
If someone tries to kill me, that person DESERVES whatever results from my efforts to stop being killed. To put someone in jail for saving his life when someone violently attacks him is IMMORAL. That may be how it’s done in the UK, for example, but it isn’t justice.

  • Aa a parent, I hurt for his parents. However, this story says a lot and you have demonstrated how perspective can be so important.

What friend? Was he (or she) one of the dozens of Trayvon’s school buddies who honored his memory by terrifying customers and workers at a North Miami Walgreens as they flash mobbed and ransacked the store when protesting his death?

  • Of course we here are all racists. If you would have followed read, researched the FACTS of this case from the site Conservative Treehouse from day one, you would have realized and known the TRUTH. TM was a two bit thug, bully, thief and drug dealer. TM would have murdered GZ had GZ not shot TM in self defense. His crimes were suppressed and hidden so TM could be sold as an ‘angel’. Sundance and his admins have done a yeoman’s work and more on this case for almost a year and half and you scream racism. This was NEVER, EVER about skin color until libtards, the CBC, Obama and those stupid white people who are so consumed by the guilt of the White Man’s Burden made this all about race, not to mention all those free thinkers who screamed racism that still are born on, live on and die in the plantation system of today.
It is ALWAYS a tragedy when one of our young adults gets killed, ALWAYS. It has to fit someone’s agenda and in Jay’s case it is racism and we here are no no bad dogs for seeing this for what it was based on the FACTS, nothing but the facts, the TRUE FACTS as brought forth through hundreds of hours of research, the truth exposed via many FOIA’s by a bunch of ragtag, brave, mostly Constitutional Conservatives who hang out at the Conservative Treehouse, AKA The Last Refuge. Are you one of Obama’s sons, Jay or a white person consumed by guilt or are YOU a racist at heart?

  • Justice was served, you just did not like the outcome based on the FACTS, not emotions of the trial. This is how the judicial system works even when the truth was hidden, buried, subverted by the state and most involved with the prosecution. TM was a threat, Robyn, period. And TM had the right to start to beat to death GZ against the curb and sidewalk, his fists? TM outweighed GZ by almost 100lbs. You are correct that TM did not deserve to die but he did. His own death was brought on by HIS actions and HIS actions alone. That is a fact. No one else was doing a beat down on GZ except TM. Had I been in GZ place, I would have done the same thing, end of story. The prosecution had NO CASE to begin with. I hope GZ gets his gun back as he will be needing it for self defense against all the racists who think like you do.

  • You are an idiot. GZ was CARRYING the gun and had a permit to do so. The gun was used when GZ knew his life was in danger. Wow, you are White! You win a free trip to go see Obama and become one of his son’s for being white. I happen to an older CAUCASIAN dude, CCW, and know what it is like to carry. You do not have time to decide or talk things out when someone is beating you down like TM was doing to GZ. TM would have more than likely killed GZ had GZ not used his weapon.
Read the facts, all of them Morgan right here at:
Then come back and tell us how wrong I, we are and you are right and oh yeah, partly just because you are white. I DARE YOU. I have spent hundreds of hours reading what the truth that Sundance and his crew brought forth into the sunlight.

  • Coward, and now you have moved past idiot. Grammar and spelling trump the facts. You really are a free thinker now, aren’t you. We do not have to do anything for YOU or anyone else here.
As Bezelel said: learn right from wrong and I will add read the truth based on the facts, then make an INFORMED decision or form your opinion.
BTW: PMSNBC, ABC, PBS, NPR, CBS, FOX should not be your sources(if they are) even though you seem to love the likes of Sharpton and company. Maybe you should move OFF of the plantation?

  • Radegunda

“Martin could also have made the observation that Zimmerman looked like he was carrying a concealed weapon and made the move before Zimmerman could pull it on him.”
So, in your view: Martin’s SPECULATION that Zimmerman MIGHT be carrying a gun was justification to sneak up behind him (instead of returning to the apartment, which he could have done immediately) and attack preemptively, breaking his nose, pinning him down and pounding his head repeatedly on the pavement.
But: The FACT that Martin was already violently attacking him did not justify Zimmerman in taking the only action he could to save his life, after screaming in vain for help.
In other words, you made a prejudicial judgment against Zimmerman, so you come up with bizarre arguments when the facts are against your side.

  • Karma will get Zimmerman

These people are reaching. In a messed up justice system do we have this type of bs. I guess this is why they drug tested the victim but not the murderer. The reports show that Coward a$$ Zimmerman abused prescription drugs. Did Travyon have trial among his peers for these now trump up charges. I guess Whites think that racism that has been in this corrupt country for hundreds of years just evaporated out of society since Obama was elected.

  • cindy

    Don’t be a sore loser.

“Fucking punks,” Zimmerman told the police dispatcher that night. “These assholes. They always get away.”
How can any of you on here defend statements like the above?? and claim that this wasn’t racism? If that was a white boy in a hood walking down the road, georgie would have stayed in his car FACT!!!

  • Mr. Izz

Swearing at someone is not racism. Let’s look at Trayvon’s comments, shall we? “Creepy a&# cracker”, “ni@@a”, etc. Let’s see… apparently, according to people like you, this isn’t racist, this isn’t bad language, and this isn’t anything that should raise a red flag. In fact, the media has gone out of its way to say that this type of thing is accepted in society. I’ve got news for you. It isn’t.

  • Fen

“I guess Whites think that racism that has been in this corrupt country for hundreds of years just evaporated out of society since Obama was elected.”
Huh? Obama is the one who made this about race. BTW, Zimmerman got a cop kicked out of the police dept for kicking a black kid. And Zimmerman also tutored black kids for free.
But you are right about the other. Whites have very very low expectations of blacks. They think you are uncivilized unevolved subhumans who must be held to a lower standard of behavior than others. Whites expect blacks to “go Ape” and attack them just for looking at blacks funny. Thats why they carry guns.

  • Fen

“Fucking punks… These assholes. They always get away.”
Jay: claim that this wasn’t racism?
Jay, please explain where you see the racism. Be specific.

Civil Rights Prosecution of Angela Corey by United States Department of Justice for She Deliberately Withheld Evidence
Civil Rights Prosecution of Angela Corey by United States Department of Justice for the unlawful Prosecution of George Zimmerman for depriving him of his Constitutional Rights of Life and Liberty by the United States Department of Justice, Eric Holder, United States Attorney General in United States District Court as swiftly and expeditiously as is possible.
Angela Corey is alleged to have omitted material exculpatory facts, such as photographs of the wounds on George Zimmerman’s head, which go to his defense of “self defense.”
She was aware when she submitted an affidavit that it did not contain the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. She deliberately withheld evidence that supported Zimmerman’s claim of self-defense.

A lot of Whites were hoping racism would evaporate when obamud took office. It was his big chance to be somebody. He blew it. Now obamud is just a “wannabe President.” And whatever you are, you can include delusional, mostly from misinformation being fed to you by the Democrat Plantation mentality. • Here we have a little tidbit just waiting for follow-up!
Somewhere, there are people missing their jewelry. If research can find them – perhaps by the addresses on the police reports on the burglaries in the area – and see if they have reclaimed the property (or even if they’ve been advised of its recovery, if they paid no attention on the news, where it wasn’t headlined), it could poke a big whole in the “Po’ lil’ Trayvonnie” myth.
Of course, they may have taken the insurance money, and prefer to “not get involved” after seeing what civic responsibility did for Zimmerman.

  • wtf

The fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman took place on the night of February 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida, United States. NOT MIAMI DADE this is a lie!

  • jr565

If Trayvon had lived and the cops appeared on the scene, and Zimmerman didn’t have his skull bashed in, what would Trayvon have been charged with? First degree assault? Attempted murder?
Imagine if his fathers gf asked him about why he beat up George Zimmerman and he told her “that crazy ass cracker’ was following me, and she replied “He’s the neighborhood watch, Trayvon.”. What would the response be?

  • jr565

By the way we know that Trayvon was the one who instigated the fight because we know that Zimmerman lost sight of him and was talking with the cops about where to meet. At the same time, Trayvon was talking to his gf/friend after reaching his dads house. He actually got home, but, according to his gf didn’t want to go inside.
So, for all the Trayvon defenders, how did he wind up back at the crime scene? Doesn’t that suggest that he doubled back? Why didn’t he simply go inside and call the cops and tell them about the creepy ass cracker following him?

  • jr565

    Karma will get Zimmerman wrote:

Who believes that to be true? But even if it’s true, it doesn’t mean it’s true in THIS case. it seems that it’s blacks that are rushing to judgement to pin racism on Zimmerman as if that’s the reason he shot an unarmed black kid with skittles (as opposed to the fact that “kid” was smashing his head into the pavement)
We simply do not buy the narrative your side is peddling, because it’s SO obvious that it’s based on YOUR bias and not on the facts in the case, none of which you cite.
For instance, the notion that Zimmerman was this white racist who gunned down a twelve year old kid who was just carrying skittles. False. He was actually bigger than Zimmerman.
But Zimmerman was not white, but hispanic. So of course, to continue the narrative, the media designated him as a “White Hispanic”. WHo is called that? Is Obama a black white since his mom was white?
And did you know that Zimmmerman’s grandmother was black? Yes, he is part black. So, here is racist white American defending a mixed race black white hispanic, and yet somehow that shows white racism?
DO you even know the first thing about Zimmerman? His life suggests anythying but racims against blacks. He mentored black kids on his own time. He was the ONLY guy in town who defended a BLACK homeless guy who got beat up by a cop and went into the black community to put up fliers to highlight the case. Not to defend the cop ,but to defend the homeless BLACK guy. And I think the cop got fired because of it.
So, that puts holes in your narrative that he was this cop wannabe who just had to shoot himself a black kid for no reason.
It certainly didn’t stop the Trayvon defenders from denigrating him as a racist, but I bet it’s because his name was Zimmerman which sounds white.

  • jr565

Here you go, Karma will get Zimmerman:
” George Zimmerman accused the Sanford police department of corruption more than a year before he shot Trayvon Martin, saying at a public forum the agency covered up the beating of a black homeless man by the son of a white officer.
“I would just like to state that the law is written in black and white,” Zimmerman said during a 90-second statement to city commissioners at a community forum. “It should not and cannot be enforced in the gray for those who are in the thin blue line.”
The forum took place on Jan. 8, 2011, days after a video of the beating went viral on the Internet and then-Sanford Police Chief Brian Tooley was forced to retire. Tooley’s department faced criticism for dragging its feet in arresting Justin Collison, the son of a police lieutenant.”
And yet he just hates blacks and is a cop wanna be. This FACT doesn’t stop your side from continuing to suggest racist motivations. Yet pointing out that Trayvon was a thug wannabe (or as he described himself a “no limit nigga”) who had a history of selling drugs, fights, vandalism, theft, drug use, and any delving into his past is character asassination.
When the prosecutor brings up that George Zimmerman trained in MMA style fighting, that was perfectly ok. You can assassinate HIS character. In fact that’s what you’ve been doing since the trial began.

  • hanna

If Trayvon ad truly been fearful of Zimmerman then why didn’t he proceed to his dad’s girlfriends apartment. Evidence shows Trayvon did reach the backyard of where he was staying, but rather than going in he doubled back so as to confront Zimmerman. Trayvon when he approached Zimmerman asked him what the problem was in which he brutally fractured zimmermans nose.It clearly showed trayvon was NOT AFRAID of Zimmerman.

  • racebaiting troll

what race are we talking about here Jay??? Zimmerman is part black, just like your daddy 0bama.

someone was killed in self-defense during an attack on a lawful citizen who was just doing his job of Neighborhood Watch. He knew that Trayvon was trying to kill him Chicago style.

  • getyourstinkinheadoutyourass

Trayvon never saw a gun unless he saw it while he was on top of Zimmerman beating the life out of him. Zimmerman knew he would die if he didn’t use his side arm to get the murderer off of him.
Trayvon would have never attacked an armed man, nobody would. He got shot ONLY because he was trying to take a “cracker’s” life.
If you can’t see this, your head is way too far up your arse.

  • getyourstinkinheadoutyourass

this was in reply to Frankly… not Look. Some creepy ass cracker pressed the wrong button …

Someone was shot. Someone with multiple bruises claimed self defense. There was no evidence to the contrary which is exactly why the prosecutor declined to press charges. Only after Obama opened up his big mouth were charges pressed. Again in court no evidence was produced, only speculation which as it should end in an acquittal. I FIRMLY believe Zimmerman should sue whom ever it was that pressed those charges because as a consequence he spent ALL of his families money to defend himself.

  • Just Ice

The Just-Us department failed to railroad justice. It is clear that you have a problem with this. So, I have to ask, what are you doing here?

  • Your bloviating about what Zimmerman would have done does not constitute FACT. It’s simply more waste matter in the river of sewage that flows about Zimmerman.

  • You must’ve missed that the defense was based on self-defense, no SYOG.
As for your “often translate to mean [‘]Shoot first ask questions later[‘] for some…”? How often? Says who? Where’s your traceable evidence? By what gender, race, education, etc., of the person that allegedly shot first? Etc.

It doesn’t matter if Trayvon committed burglaries or smoked pot, nor does it matter that Zimmerman shouldn’t “profile” someone just because he’s a teenager with a hoodie, or be following them, etc. What matters is the law that allows someone to go around with a handgun, challenge someone, and when that person (out of fear or anger) attacks them, they have the right to shoot them. A bad law, perios.

your statement is absurd. You have no evidence that martin was challenged. Furthermore, we need more citizens with guns to protect us against the incompetence and negligence of the police, plus corruption. I want people in my community to follow and witness suspicious persons. you can live in a community that does not give a damn and supports corruption. Only a robotic, parrot, compliant and subservient clone is foolish enough to avoid facts because they “should not” profile. Its like profiling grandma at the airport instead of muslims. These cover-ups to protect Trayvon have the stench of Obama all over them. We know about as much about Trayvon as we do about 0bama; NOTHING. Wouldn’t surprise me if Trayvon’s school records are sealed, just like 0bama’s.

Mary you are just looking for a reason to cry racism with that comment.

I may be white, but ran a youth crime prevention program for a community action agency year ago. I saw my kids, and I still call them my kids (90 percent of my kids were black) treated with disrespect and with hate and prejudice on numerous occasions. So I sympathize with profiling and outright prejudice as i saw it first hand many times.. But the media has made Treyvon to be innocent. I think the fact is, both Zimmerman and Treyvon had attitudes. There are countless pics of the young man high, shooting birds, with gold teeth. maybe gold teeth are ok – but I know from my kids they often represent the ‘ dark side ‘ of crime and drugs. The bottom line is, they both are minorities and both had attitude problems. Now.. that does not excuse Zimmerman for shooting him. Zimmerman should have gone to jail.. I do not agree with the verdict at all. But people have got to quit making it race. It wasn’t..I think the point of this article isn’t to seperate – it is to correct the media’s representation of Treyvon as an innocent, sweet boy. He was far from it.. as was Zimmerman. Bottom line. Treyvon didn’t deserve to die. .. Zimmerman shouldn’t have shot him.. But race had no deciding factor in the crime or in the verdict. I think this article may be wrong at this time and should not have been written- when peace is needed – but it is a point I have made all along. However, if I was on the jury, Treyvon’s past would not have altered my verdict of Zimmeran as guilty. Just saying. Many people don’t know too that Zimmerman will face a civil lawsuit for damages- which Treyvon’s family will win. In some small way , maybe that is minor justice.

  • bill byler

What everyone fails to admit, is that we have a huge crime problem in this country, not due to society, rather to our very lenient punishment, people are tired of being afraid to walk in their own community, or leave their house to go somewhere, or even go wash their cars. We dont hold people accountable. Its regretable that a 17 yr old boy lost his life, however, he put himself in that situation by being out that late, in an area that he doesnt belong. As most people know just dont want to admit, he was probably trying to find a car or house to burglarize, assumption due to his criminal record. As, a retired police officer it is my professional observations, that these youths do not repect people or the law, their parents have no clue or dont care, and they usually start with petty burglary that leads to assault, or murder, so the one to blame here is treyvon and his parents, who should be held accountable. Not the Laws or the homeowners, or society, Its time everyone is held accountable for their actions, quit blaming someone else. There is a reason that 68 percent of the prison population is African American, Not because of profiling but because they are doing the crimes.

  • Al

Since when is 7:30pm late? What kind of nerve do you have to state that Martin was “in an area that he doesn’t belong”??? He was living in that neighborhood with his father. Please don’t comment when you have no clue about the most commonly known facts about this case.
Ironic too that you start off your comment about “people are tired of being afraid to walk in their own community, or leave their house to go somewhere” and yet you do not in your obviously partial mind lend the same freedoms and hopes for Mr. Martin who was doing exactly that, walking home from a convenience store in the EARLY EVENING. No matter what you think, and no matter whatever you may like to think “most people know”– your assessment is all speculation at best.
For someone who claims to be a “retired police officer”, you have a severe inability to cite facts as they are and rather seem far more content to replace said facts with disinformation and unproven opinions. Clearly the axe you are grinding is meant to be used in a specific direction.

  • karen fletcher

    Zimmerman should not have
    Trevon should not have
Bottom Line: There were no laws broken by either.

  • Vicki McCullough

7000 black Americans are murdered in this country yearly. 94% of them are murdered by another black person. Why aren’t “leaders” in the black community such as Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Eric Holder and even Barack Obama talking about how to remedy that horrific statistic?

  • “Many people don’t know too that Zimmerman will face a civil lawsuit for damages- which Treyvon’s family will win”.
Hmmm, I hate to spoil it for you but there won’t be a civil suit, and if there is, the Martins win probably lose. Under FL law, there is immunity from civil suits by someone who acted in self defense. Like it or not, that applies to Zimmerman. SO I doubt there will be any such lawsuit.
And if the Martins did sue, all the evidence of Trayvon’s character that was barred from the criminal trial will be admissible. That includes the crimes that the school covered up by not reporting to the police, plus all of his cellphone, facebook and twitter posts about guns and drugs and fighting etc. The phony narrative about him being a sweet gentle child will blow up. This is why the Martins didn’t file suit right away and never will. BTW, did you know that they already received a MILLION dollar settlement from the condo association? And they have copyrighted Trayvon’s picture to make money from licensing and merchandising.
Before the haters slam me as a racist to avoid addressing the facts, let me tell you that I’ve been a criminal defense attorney for over 35 years and
most of my criminal clients have been black. I know from firsthand experience that there is unfairness and racism in our justice system and in our society as a whole. There are many legitimate grievances that need to be addressed on both sides. This case could have been a springboard for a serious rational
discussion of those issues. Instead, the race baiters, politicians and the Media turned it into a destructive farce that will only polarize people and deflect attention away from the real issues.
While his death is tragic, Trayvon is not an innocent victim or hero. For the NAACP to compare him to Rosa Parks or Emmitt Till is an insult to their legacy. Is this the role model that black leaders want their kids to emulate? Really?
Several days ago in PA, a 5 year girl was snatched from her front yard and forced into a car. Two young boys joined the search and saw the child in the car. They chased after the car on bikes, block after block as it wound through the residential area and eventually the pervert saw that he wasn’t getting away from them and he released the child. Those teens, 1 black and 1
    > > hispanic, saved the little girl from horror and likely death. Their story made the news for all of one day before the Media dropped it. No massive Media coverage, no black leaders making speeches or holding them up as role models and no politicians said, “If I had a son, he’d look like Temar.”
(Look up Temar Boggs to see a real hero and role model for ALL Americans).
And even after the verdict, the damned Media continues to manipulate (still showing pictures of a small 12 year Trayvon instead of the 6 footer he was when he attacked GZ) and misstate the facts to fit their agenda. I’ve watched the entire trial and all of the Media coverage has been slanted and biased. Unhappy with the outcome, the Media is now pushing the idea of a Federal
civil rights prosecution. But the FBI already investigated the case fully, interviewed over 36 witnesses and found no basis whatsoever to claim (much less charge) that GM was a racist. In fact, GZ is probably the least racist person in the entire case. The Media never tells you that he went to his prom with a black girl or that he mentored blacks children etc. Legally, there is no basis for a civil rights prosecution. Of course that hasn’t stopped the folks with an agenda from turning this tragedy into a travesty.
As the Prosecution said ” To the dead, we owe the TRUTH.”

  • It is hard to assign a color to Obama, he’s got a kind of yellowish green/brown tone, sickly color at best. I guess it’s the Arab in him or should I say was in his mother. • Spiritof1776

Some of the BURGLARY VICTIMS NEED TO COME FORWARD AND ASK TO VIEW STOLEN ITEMS. The sheriff’s office needs to be FORCED to compare the stolen items
to the police reports filed. BINGO, then we might find out that TM was robbing places in the vicinity of where he stays. Zimmerman, might
have made a jam up police officer.
    Remember:Zimmerman said
    l. He acts like he is on drugs……proven true
    2. He is acting suspiciously….jewelery could possibly place TM at the recent robberies.

  • Spiritof1776

I have a question. It was days before the family was notified of Trayvon’s death.
Had he been reported missing? If now, why not. If so, please let me know.

  • You can read about how he found out here:
NOTE that he wasn’t worried at first when the kid didn’t come home because apparently this wasn’t that abnormal for him and he thought he was with his nephew (who he claims was a ‘responsible’ young man).
But when he did start to get worried he called juvenile hall and the police to see if he’d been arrested. Imagine that. Because the kid was this innocent cherub right?

  • Yes, there were, Karen, Trayvon broke Zimmerman’s nose and proceeded to beat him up. That’s a felony. Then he proceeded to threaten him saying “you’re going to die tonight” which becomes attempted murder.

  • I’m white and I don’t go skulking around the neighborhood in the rain looking at people’s houses either. I would immediately be thought of as suspicious or mentally ill or something if I did that. It doesn’t matter what color he was. He was behaving abnormally. And as testimony/evidence revealed, Trayvon’s conversation with that one gal was about how he thought Zimmerman was gay. If there’s any hate crime here it’s Trayvon’s hate crim against a perceived homosexual.

  • hear hear.
I had to admire our local police dept. One neighbor kid stole my husband’s cell phone and that detective bent over backward to figure out whose it was so they could ask us if we wanted to press charges. He went above and beyond to find ENOUGH stolen merchandise to get this kid’s case to go to trial on charges of grand larceny. The mother also was urging people to press charges. Good for her! The reason was so that this kid’s problem could get DEALT with and STOPPED. He ended up in a reform home that seems to have done him some good. The detective did his job because he ACTUALLY CARED about the kid. I could tell by the way he talked about the kid to me and his mother.
And yes, we are all white. THAT is how you stop crime. You deal with it. You don’t excuse it based on skin color or to promote a false image of a school/community or anything else.

  • “It doesn’t matter if Trayvon committed burglaries or smoked pot”
It does, because it affects Trayvon’s judgement at the time and corroborates what Zimmerman suspected him of. (casing out the neighborhood)
“nor does it matter that Zimmerman shouldn’t “profile” someone just because he’s a teenager with a hoodie, or be following them, etc. ”
That was his job as neighborhood watch captain. And everyone profiles, even YOU. You profile by behavior and dress all the time. And since the neighborhood had ALSO been given information about the burglaries in the area being done by a couple black guys, you can’t expect all of that to be excluded from a person’s mind when you see someone behaving oddly (walking around staring at houses in the rain). Get a little common sense.
I once saw a guy (hispanic I think, not sure, dark hair, darker skin for our area) walking down the middle of the highway in winter, kind of not in a straight line. He almost got hit by a car. Was I profiling when I called the police on him?

  • “.hell we eed more community watch without guns”
Kind of like the UK police who tried that? Right… what do you think guns are for? Just for the criminals?

  • socioeconomic differences don’t make people criminals. However, criminal and immoral behavior often (almost always) results in poverty.

  • “Did Travyon have trial among his peers for these now trump up charges.”
No, because he was not on trial, and in the crimes for which he was guilty, the people in charge covered it up. THE DEFENDANT is the one who gets the trial with a jury of his peers.
Get a clue. More evidence that all you do is parrot lines from Jesse Jackson and the other race baiters, whether or not they make any sense.

I have sat and ready thru these countless comments and countless news stories, court viewings, etc about Zimmerman and Martin. The story is not a race issue, sure the story is sad and said and a young adult lost is life however, if he had been respectful when asked, “what are you doing around here?” this would have never had happened. This attitude held by 20-stupid year olds and younger is absoultely repulsive. My grandmother would have slapped their teeth out, what around like they are 10foot tall and bulletproof. If someone is one day older than you are, they are your elder, you give respect, you will get respect. Aretha Franklin said it best……

Look this kid is dead. Stop trying to crucify him. Let him rest in peace. What difference does it make what he did in his past. I did a lot of things in my past too when I was a teenager, but it doesn’t mean he deserved to die and it doesn’t change what happened either. Please tell me why you have to do this, he paid the ultimate price. Teenagers do stupid things, so stop demonizing him. He’s dead and Zimmerman is not. Leave this kid alone. No matter what he did, he was still a 17 year old kid. People are so damn cold and hard hearted. Zimmerman will get to live his life and Trayvon won’t. I would say Zimmerman came out somewhat better. Zimmerman was no saint either. He should have just stayed in his car. Period! He has no regrets! It was God’s Plan remember? So let’s see what God has planned for him. He may end up having a few regrets after all.

  • It is absolutely sad and ironic that the same people that are indignant about those of us who dare disagree with the non-guilty verdict of Zimmerman, also attempt to say that Trayvon Martin’s criminal record somehow justifies his murder. There is a clear double standard. On one hand, we should all bow to the verdict releasing Zimmerman from guilty and respect our justice system. On the other, it is ok that Zimmerman killed Martin because, after all, Martin was no saint, he had engaged in criminal behavior and drug use. So although our justice system is to be respected as it relates to Zimmerman, to the point of asking us not to express disagreement; we believe that Martin’s death is somehow justified because of his criminal background. How about our justice system taking care of that; rather than Zimmerman’s gun? When Zimmerman profiled Trayvon, he did not have his criminal record in front of him. He had a black kid, wearing a hoodie, who did not look like belonging to the neighborhood. Here is what he also had – prejudice. Which you can clearly hear in his 911 call. For sure, he said to the operator, Martin was “one of those …. that always gets away” If that is not profiling and prejudice, I don’t know what is. We are all entitled to our opinions and prejudice, but the law clearly tells us through many laws and the Title VII of the Civil Right Act that we cannot act on those prejudices and biases. I don’t care what you say about Trayvon Martin’s past. It is irrelevant. When he was spotted by Zimmerman, he was not engaged in any type of criminal activity. Let’s not blame the victim here. And let’s stop trying to justify the unjustifiable.

  • Anon

Since when is a 17 year old a young Adult? If he had never followed him and got out of his car none of it would have happened either. When I was a 17 yo, I would have had NO respect for some creep following me home either. My grandma said respect is earned. Now please tell me what Zimmerman did to earn respect. NO ONE but Zimmerman knows what really happened that night. He told so many different stories that didn’t make sense, that I don’t believe anything he said. So with that said, get real. Zimmerman had a violent past too! He is alive and will have to live with it. The teenager is dead and is that not enough for yall? YOU WANNA CRUCIFY HIS MEMORY TOO? Damn cold hearted vultures.

  • Anon

Please tell me you have perfect teens, I had 4 boys (FYI I am Caucasian). We raised them right but they did not always do what was right when they were teens and drove us nuts and did things I would never have dreamed they would do. They got into trouble and did stuff that drove us crazy and I am so lucky they all survived, learned their lessons and became fine upstanding fathers and husbands. I cringe when I think of what we went through and it was only by the Grace of God that they never met up with a Zimmerman. Back then the gun laws were different and way way more strict and that deterred alot of Zimmerman’s from taking the law into their own hands. So if you had teen boys that were angels then good for you, but I suspect that those here who didn’t would never admit it anyway. There are a whole lot of HOLIER THAN THOUS runnin around these days with angel wings and halos that are more imagined than real.

Arm chair detective. Trace of pot isn’t exactly on drugs. You are makin a lot of sweeping assumptions there aren’t cha boy.? What a load of immature BS. Gimme a break. Geez! Watch much CSI on tv?

  • Independent Voter

Actually, the law was broken by Trayvon Martin when he decided to commit felony assault on someone he thought was unarmed. It was not illegal for Zimmerman to follow him and was not illegal to ask him who he was. It was not illegal to be carrying his permitted weapon. It was illegal for Trayvon to throw the first punch and even more illegal to follow up by trying to finish the job by slamming his head into the ground. That is why the jury found George Zimmerman innocent of murder… it was, in fact, an act of self defense at that point in time.
If Mr. Zimmerman had walked up and just shot Trayvon that would have been murder.

  • mel

How is 7:00 late? What proof do you have that Trayvon threw the first punch? Since when and why do people just accept George’s word as gospel? There are two sides to every story.

  • AngryAwakenedAmerican

I recommend reading the 911 transcript instead of listening to what the main stream corporate media’s agenda being fed to further the gun control debate ad causing a race war. The transcripts show that Zimmerman followed what the 911 operator instructed. The hunted became the hunter. This is not about Trayvon and George. This is about power over the people. This is deflection of what is really being done. If anyone is watching the government/corporate controlled propaganda of the media/news/entertainment/movie/music/bankeing/Pharma/medical/military/energy/oil/food/and water controlling minority new world order occultists that have controlled the world and it’s people for 1000s of years. It’s the same song and dance that they are making us do.

  • Dave K

First, Zimmerman is not white. The media loves putting people at odds with each other, excluding pertinent facts / circumstances to help support the agenda.
Trayon was not the angel the media depicted as in his 12/13 year old pics. See: school suspensions, jewelry, burglary tools.
Zimmerman was a neighborhood watchman, he saw Trayvon walking slowly in the front of a house, that raises red flags in a neighborhood already riddled with burglaries. If people living in cities and communities don’t notice or overlook crime, your town will change like Chicago, Detroit, or Hazleton, PA where I live. I am moving in 3 weeks and can’t wait!!!

  • anon

How do you know what happened? Were you there? YOu don’t know anymore than I do what happened. The only one that really knows was the teenager and Zimmerman and one of them is dead so all you have is what he said which has been recanted by him in several different versions. So which version do you buy? I don’t believe anything he said after the 911 call.

People make rash stupid decisions and don’t use their common sense and other faculties when they pack heat. Funny if this was true how that shot was fired right into his heart. All you know is what Zimmerman said. You really have no idea but Martin can’t tell you his side. If there was a struggle like Zimmerman said, why did he just not wound him and wait for the cops? Zimmerman knew dead boys can’t talk, People who get shot in the heart at close range die. Zimmerman is not as dumb as everyone thinks. How stupid do you think he is and how stupid can you be to believe everything he said since he said so many things that he was caught in lies for saying. He got up and lied on tv and was caught lying. So how can you believe in anything he said? Geez don’t be so gullible.

The problem with this information being withheld from the trial / jury is it speaks to Trayvon Martin’s character and behavioral patterns and should have been allowed in as evidence.
The media lied about the case from the start and manipulated many people to believe it was a hate crime. Further, the media distributing pictures of a 12 year old Trayvon instead of a 17 year old is disingenuous. Trayvon Martin was not a child. When you are 17 1/2 years old, you can join the military (I did). People upset with the verdict are being socially engineered / manipulated for political and other reasons. They don’t no any better and have an inability to think for themselves.
NBC is facing a defamation law suit for editing a 9/11 audio recording and the prosecution is facing sanctions for withholding exculpatory evidence. It will be interesting to see if Zimmerman’s lawyers file a civil law suit against the state for malicious prosecution. They have every right to and the evidence supports such a suit.
Stand your ground is one element in self defense. Most states (sorry Mr. Wonder) have a form of stand your ground element in law. Stand your ground generally gives a person who uses self defense (or defending others) an immunity from civil liability and criminal prosecution.
Stand your ground in short, allows people to defend themselves (or others) even outside of their homes with deadly force if necessary.. and if they believed someone was trying to kill them or seriously harm them…or others. There are many situations where stand your ground law is justifiable. You can’t always retreat.
Deadly force should always be used as a last resort. Deadly force does not necessarily, or always involve the use of a firearm. A baseball bat, lead pipe, knife, automobile, etc. can be considered weapons and can impart deadly force.
This was not a hate crime and there will be no civil rights violation case brought by federal prosecutors regardless of political pressure. Further, if you look at FBI crime statistics you will see a different picture painted regarding interracial homicides.
“Over the past 30 years, black-on-white murders rose from 6 percent of all homicides to 8 percent, according to a study of more than half a million homicide reports assembled by Scripps Howard News Service from FBI and local police reports.”
So to inject a racial element into the issue like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the NAACP has done suggests a ulterior motive. Fund raising comes to mind….

“the minimum age for enlistment in the United States Military is 17 (with parental consent) and 18 (without parental consent).” See:
The military does not allow kids / children into their ranks.
Zimmerman had no duty, legal or otherwise, to stay in his car, he lived there. Further, there was no evidence presented to suggest Zimmerman did not act in self defense. There is evidence that reasonably suggests that Trayvon Martin was the aggressor.
There is no evidence to suggest this was a hate crime. There is statements made by some reports that Zimmerman took a black girl to his prom, that he mentored 2 black youths, and that he defended a homeless black man in front of the city council because the homeless black man was being harassed / mistreated by the police.
There was a 4 minute window that Zimmerman had lost sight of Trayvon. If Trayvon would have continued on his way home, this likely wouldn’t have happened.
Evidence reasonably suggests that Trayvon wanted to confront the “creepy white ass cracker”. That was a fatal error he brought on himself. I bring this racial slur up as it was the only racist remark that was brought into evidence.
Did you watch the trial or are you just following the heard?

  • Terry C.

“the minimum age for enlistment in the United States Military is 17 (with parental consent) and 18 (without parental consent).” See:
The military does not allow kids / children into their ranks. They do let young adults in.
He told his story on a couple of occasions. They were video taped and presented in court by the prosecution. The lead investigator testified that he believed Zimmerman. The Sanford DA’s office believed him as well.
His prosecution was politically motivated. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the NAACP are using this for fund raising. The sheep are likely donating at a good pace.

I guess the truth is none of us do know exactly what happened, but it appears most people have taken sides. I myself don’t know anything about either man except what was presented to me by the media or the web, I don’t trust either, what I do know is one man went on trial for shooting another and was acquitted, I accept that the jury saw the evidence, listened to the arguments, and made their decisions based on those arguments, not on the media, not on the internet.
I only support our right as citizens to a fair trial to be judged by a jury of our peers, if we don’t like that then we need to change the system and drop all this other stuff, it is not productive and will not change anything.
If in the future I find myself on trial charged with a crime that I can trust in being found innocent or guilty based on the evidence before a jury and not in the court of popular opinion or according to mob rule. This is truly what is the tragedy here that all of us, out in the world have a better way of convicting or acquitting a person than trial by jury, we would rather base our judgements on what we are presented by the media or by some person half way around the world that never met the people involved in the case.
I would rather hear what ideas everyone has to how we should try people if the current system is obviously so broken that a guilty man would go free or an innocent man would be punished.

  • Emily
His name is Roderick Scott. He’s a 42-year-old black man with the build of a football player. He also holds a New York State Pistol Permit, or he did until recently. In fact, until April of this year, he kept a .40-caliber semiautomatic pistol readily to hand. Whether that pistol has been returned to him by now, and whether he still holds his permit (or will again) is anybody’s guess. I don’t know Mr. Scott and have never spoken to him. He killed a 17 year old white kid. Found not guilty. Sounds familiar.

  • Emily

    Thank you.

We, don’t know who threw the first punch. We do know Zimmerman was hit in the nose and the back of his head was bloodied. We know Travon was on top of him throwing punches. We know Zimmerman called 911, not Trayvon. We know Trayvon called his girlfriend, not 911. We know, except for some scrapes on his hands, Trayvon was uninjured until shot. We know Zimmerman shot Trayvon in the chest. We have a reasonable doubt that Zimmerman is guilty of 2nd degree murder and a reasonable doubt he is guilty of manslaughter. We think he may have acted in self-defense. We know the evidence suggests Trayvon could have been charged with assault, had he lived, and possibly manslaughter or murder had he killed Zimmerman. We know that Trayvon, was a lean, muscular young man about seven months shy of being eligible for military service. We know Zimmerman, was older, heavier and shorter. We know Zimmerman’s account of what happened was not contradicted by the evidence in any significant way.

  • Terry C.

The justice system is broken as its sole purpose is to get convictions or generate revenue. It is not designed to find out the truth, prove innocence, or be fair. Zimmerman was found to be not guilty. He wasn’t found to be innocent which in this case, would have been a more just verdict.
The natural law “right to life” supports the premise of self defense. Natural law refers to the use of reason to analyze human nature—both social and personal—and deduce binding rules of moral behavior from it. The bill of rights was born from natural law theory however, natural law cannot be codified / legislated as it is a system of law that is determined by nature, and thus universal. Natural law is an inherent truth which is constantly in conflict with positive law.
This case is a good example of the conflict between natural rights, natural law, and positive law. Trayvon Martin had a natural right to life and so did Zimmerman. Natural law supports the use of reason binding society to moral behavior in which Florida’s positive law (actually all states) supports self defense over a universal natural right to life.
Another conflict is abortion which supports a woman’s right to choose over the natural right to life.
The bill of rights should be known as the bill of privileges as it purports to be founded on natural right and natural law but is modified by positive law. Positive law interprets your natural rights that’s how they become privileges.

  • NCF

We also know that we can not consider in determining quilt or innocence of George Zimmerman: 1) Whether Zimmerman was a “wannabe” cop. 2) Whether Zimmerman should have stayed in his car. 3)Whether Zimmerman was Puerto Rican and Trayvon was African American. 4) Whether the Skittles and Watermelon Drink Trayvon had were for mixing with Robitussin to make a drink with opiate like affect, commonly made by high school students. 5) Whether a large screw driver and jewellery matching jewellery reported stolen from a house nearby Trayvon’s school was found in Trayvon’s back pack by the School’s police officer. Whether the jewellery was turned over to the Sanford police department. (This was reported in a Miami Herald Article in 2012 as part of a story about covering up youth crimes to make the crime statistics look better.) 6) Whether the prosecutor’s office failed to turn over to the defense, a photo of a gun and evidence of a gun transaction found on Trayvon’s cell phone. The evidence was later turned over, after mr. Kruidbos, State Attorney Corey’s IT man, testified that it existed. Kruidbos was later fired by Corey for revealing the existence of evidence that she was legally required to give to the defense, but had not.…after-testimony
We do know that the entire incident is tragic as a young man who had most of his life to look forward to died, and another relatively young man, who was found to have acted in self defense will have to live with death threats.

  • Terry C.

Gun laws are more strict today than they were 20 / 30 years ago so I don’t understand how you can make a claim that they are less strict. I have owned guns for 35 years and was taught by my parents at a early age how to use them safely and to respect them. I also served in the Marines which furthered my general firearms education.
Parenting has never been easy and you couldn’t have been so blind when you had a child to think it was. Today, it’s even harder as laws have taken good methods of discipline away from the parent and labeled them as child abuse. Punishing a child in essence is left up to the courts system as you have no right to spank or use other so-called abuse methods to discipline.
Being a good parent requires you to be involved. You need to know who your children socialize with and you need to know those children’s parents.
Zimmerman didn’t take the law into his own hands. He exercised his lawful right to defend himself. I have no clue what trial you watched (if you watched the trial at all) but the one I watched, the evidence supported his self defense claim.
As I stated in my above post, stand your ground is just an element of self defense. Although stand your ground was not used in this case, it is logical to have it as lawful. Self defense or defense of others does not always give a circumstance in which you can retreat. Take a rape or a gang rape as an example. Would you rather have an armed citizen get involved that can stop it immediately, or wait 10 or 15 minutes for a cop to show up? If the citizens stops the rape, he / she is standing his ground. If attacked by the rapist, he / she has every lawful right to protect him / herself. There are many circumstances that stand your ground is logical and the stand your ground law itself describes what is lawful / unlawful in those circumstances.

  • Lavron

Are we not innocent until found guilty? Really it matters not. My concern is none of us would be safe from the mob rule and someone feeling that causing harm to us was justifiable in their own mind because they are sure we are guilty.
I think George Zimmerman’s Constitutional rights now are being violated, am I wrong in that assumption? Again I don’t mean this as an attack point or want to hear what anyone’s personal opinions as to his guilt or innocence, that has been satisfied by his day in court, just that after a person is charged with a crime and found not guilty of said crime don’t they have certain rights and freedoms afforded them as a citizen or am I just dreaming and that is all pie in the sky?
Again I would like to hear this from a personal stand point as if you were the one acquitted, do you not have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

ya gonna just hate the white man, move back to where you came from, africa. But hell, Africans dont like yourass either so that wont work.
Why hate the black man, we dont hate yall off the jump, it takes time for the white race to get a real understanding of who “black” people really are/can be. Yall need to wake up and thank the white man. If it werent for the white man, you wouldnt be free, you’d still be a slave. So if you want to be pissed at someone you should be pissed at our ancestors for selling your people as s slave to American & be thankful that the white man gave yall a chance , considering at first you didnt even have a say so in court, automatically guilty without even a chance to defend yourself. not only that , no education. but the white man gave you some credit, gave you a chance to become something and all you do is hate the white man b/c you dont have equal rights. Well you’re right, you actually have more “freebies” than any white man could dream of. Not only that , you blame everything on your skin color when that has nothing to do with the situation at hand. Everyone gets pulled over, everyone gets labeled but labels dont come without actions. You need to realize, people may judge all blacks nigg3rs but thats not true. There is a difference between nigg3rs and blacks as there is a difference between whites and “white trash”. the only difference is white trash makes up 20% of our race but when it comes to blacks, 75% of blacks a nigg3rs resulting in the whole race being labeled as they are and if one isnt a nigg3r its noted by all whites in any conversation. for exmple if you have a true black friend, when describing your relationship with the black guy a white would say, “hes not like every other one, he acts white and has white friends. Or ” hes black , not a nigg3r” .
How does a slut get her name? by her actions . Can a slut complain when shes called a slut, yes and she will. But it takes someone with common sense to realize what they are called might be true. Sure if only one person calls the girl a slut, it might not be true. But when you have multiple people with there own reasons behind her being a slut, you can go ahead and assume shes a slut. This goes for the black race. If you dont want to be labeled a nigg3r or whatever derogatory word, you might go ahead and not act like one to start off. Then im sure with time, you will have proven yourself to not be like the majority of your race.
Equal rights ? well there is a black president now so that just throws that out the window, you get what you make. Make something of what you got, its up to you.
ignorance of the law is no excuse . If anyone should be mad at someone over the case it should be the NAACP for making the case so public. If they wouldnt have made it nationwide situation there would have not been any money for George to hire the attorneys that he did, and he would have been found guilty. But with all the publicity , yall set the bar too high and its the price you pay for your freedom..
well i could continue but i doubt any blacks have made it this far anyhow.. so keep up acting like moneys as apes got yall beat.
btw, keep it up and slaverly will be looked at again.

You sir are an idiot. You are making statements with no substance behind them. Do you know all the black people in America? Do you even know 25% of black people in this country? So who are you to categorize 75% of black people as ignorant? Nigger didn’t have a definition when it was used back in slave times. With that being said the definition today is someone who is ignorant and you are the perfect example of a nigger. Everything you just stated is based on your stupidity and lack of knowledge. From making assumptions about ALL black people to how ALL white people describe their black friends. Maybe you should some research before opening your mouth. Just in reading your comments we all can tell how uneducated and ignorant you are. You are the epitome of white trash!

  • Lu

Ignore writings of people like that. That kind of talk comes straight out of the mouths of the members of the KKK. I have read their leaflets when I lived in Georgia and most of them probably did not make it through the third grade. Pray for them, thy are to be pitied. Too bad that the only way they can feel good about themselves is to put others down. Steve is trying to leave the impression that he is black – no way! Only total ignorance would lead a person to thank the white men for making them slaves. It’s straight from the mouths of bigot. As far as the “news” article, give me a break! It is not legal to publish the names of minors who may or may not have been involved in a crime and court records of them are NOT revealed. Anything to excuse the murder of a person who is black by a person who is white. Zimmerman would have had no knowledge of anything of the kind even if it were true. Do people actually believe this garbage?? Duh, duh dumb dumb.

  • Lu

P.S. Now I know why it is called the “Drudge” report. It’s lower than pond scum. What a way to make a living!

  • Lu

“slaverly?” Your thought, however, is more than correct. Many states in the union and white bigots in congress would love to take us back to pre-slavery days. Why do you think they are trying to prevent minorities from voting? Why do you think they want minorities to mass produce and then keep them hungry – so they can make chattels of them again. (Look it up for heaven’s sake!)

  • Lu

. . . and exactly WHERE are you getting your information. Reading “news” stories in some media (and particularly the DRUDGE report)will certainly not get you near the truth. Are you even aware that Mr. Zimmerman was arrested FOR resisting arrest. How do you think THAT little tidbit would have influenced the jury.
What kind of logic says you can chase down someone and then claim THEY threatened YOUR life. Did Trayvon not have the right to defend HIMSELF? Apparently not. . . and why IS that?

  • Lu

. . . and what do you know about a comment that includes “cracker.” Like the jurors, you profiled this young woman because you never heard the expression. You might not hear it in Florida but you certainly will in other southern states. Did you think that Trayvon threw the headphones to the ground so he could fight with Zimmerman at the same time he was on the phone?? What sense does that make? Zimmerman was instructed that the police did NOT need him to be following Trayvon. Zimmerman “arrested, tried, convicted and punished” this boy.

  • Greg Zotta

Trayvon Martin is dead because of the actions of Trayvon Martin. There is a record of Trayvon being in possession of jewelry stolen in a burglary that was covered up to save the reputation of the school. Burglars like to wear hoodies to help cover their face. Martin going back and forth between buildings after dark would be suspicious enough for a watchman to report it to the police. What is known is Trayvon attacked Zimmerman and was beating him so bad Zimmerman feared for his life and thus defended himself. Self defense. Trayvon was probably high on “lean,” which effects are intoxication, agitation and paranoia. This case should have never been brought to trial based on the facts. It was brought on by the Obama Regime race-baiters. George Zimmerman was doing his job as the neighborhood watchman, when he was attacked by Trayvon Martin and had to shoot him to keep from getting killed. It is Zimmerman’s frame of mind that comes into question and he believed his life was in danger. Self defense is a God given civil right.

  • Jason

Thank You, Terry C! The only person in this thread with a brain. Everyone is playing off of racial emotion because of the media and political agenda.

  • Jason

The ONLY person who broke the law was Trayvon! It’s called felony assault. Unfortunately, Trayvon paid the ultimate price. Did Zimmerman have to follow him? No, he didn’t, but he WAS NOT ordered not to follow him. He was simply told, “we don’t need you to follow him.” That can work both ways too. If someone desperately needed your help, you don’t have to help them either. You can just watch and wait for police. We need more Zimmermans in neighborhods across the country… This has been blown out of proportion because of race. Only in America can a Hispanic shoot and kill a Black, and be blamed on a White guy. How about the OJ trial? How about the young white couple who’s private parts were chopped off and chopped up into pieces by 4 blacks? How about the black woman who abducted the young white boy and killed him with a blow torch?? Not one word. The leadership in the country is a joke. 0bama wouldn’t even know Trayvon’s name if he died protecting this country. Of course if 0bum had a son, it would be a drug using young criminal. Our Divider in Chief uses this tragedy as political gains and that is pathetic… Zimmerman was found NOT GUILTY because EVIDENCE (I know most of you don’t know what this is) showed that he acted in self-defense, and broke NO LAWS! Get over it, and move on!! Blacks are killing blacks everyday. Blacks rape and kill more white women than any other race.

  • It seems the least you could have done was credit the source of this entire story – the conservative treehouse blog –
They broke this story back in April and spent over $10,000 in FOIA requests that now make the story public knowledge.

Can you remove the hatred postings? I’d like to send the link to this story to friend and family but the hatred posting discredit it and I don’t want to pass on such ranting’s to others. I know this sounds like censorship, but there is plenty of hate around already.

  • Jenn

As politically incorrect as it is, you’re right. It’s what most crackers with half a brain have been saying for years. Tired of the race card always being overplayed. I heard there was a rally recently for this nigg3r where everyone was requested to wear hoodies. Way to promote your race. Dumba$$es.

“Self defense is a God given civil right”… if you’re referring to the God of the Bible- Jesus said MATTHEW 5:39 “But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.”
Self defense is not a Biblically God given right. Its just a United States given right.

since when did the black community become so involved in the legal side of the court system ? when its black on black crime no one will come out of the dark to even talk about a little kid being shot but throw someone that is not of the same race and they exploit the case beyond believable. I cant believe we allow yall to even speak. Yall should know your rights, you have the right to remain silent, now do as you were taught and quit being so damn prejudice and impartial towards other races aka racism. Check your own racism card and pull it on yourself, not anyone is as racist as the black race and not any other race is hated by others than the black people. Dont anyone like the black race as a whole, not whites, not mexicans , not asians, not one, hell the half way sane blacks and africans cant even accept your kind, so take it for what its worth, YOURE NOT WELCOME.

    hatred ?
the only hatred was presented by your own fellow blacks by making this case what it was , nothing but a kid getting himself shot by acting like a bad ass , shit happens.
sorry for the kid, but sometimes you get what your bring upon yourself. cant eat it dont bite it.

  • David Bourhill

Trayvon Martin attacked and beat a man .
previous crimes or not .Zimmerman defended himself
    Trayvon got what he deserved.
    Now there’s one less thug
Over all a good out come

  • Riddla Exodus

So the penalty is death? The events which occurred after the fact involving Zimmerman along with Murder are much more serious than the crime that Trayvon committed. The punishment must fit the crime and it is not rocket science that this person Zimmerman has not been dealt with as he should when it comes to the Justice system.

    • No need for a shallow grave

If I see ANY face that I do not know, in and around my own home, at any time of day, without my express permission (with the obvious exceptions of reasonable presence such as Utilities, Postman, or valid Law Enforcement), ONE POSSIBLE PENALTY IS DEATH. What part of the concept of private property confuses you?

Be an excellent man/woman, and you have nothing to fear from me. Rummage through my stuff for valuables? I AM YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE!

I suspect that deep in your heart you believe it is OK to commit crimes against other people, as long as you are the one doing the committing. Once force is brought to bear to stop you, then you FLIP OUT as if I would somehow be interfering with your imagined rights to pilfer my stuff.

REALIGN YOUR MIND. The penalty of B&E is DEATH, in the moment. The powers of the STATE must be reigned in after the fact, but not of the individual within the community saying NO in the midst of a criminal act.

How is THEFT tantamount to an ACT OF VIOLENCE? I do not steal to make my money. Instead I work honestly for many hours, to create actual value I trade with others who do the same. If you were to tell me that I worked for those hours, only to discover that I worked for nothing? I AM THUS THAT MUCH CLOSER TO MY OWN DEATH, with nothing to show for it. The thief has STOLEN A PORTION OF MY LIMITED LIFESPAN. I consider that to be VIOLENCE.

See: Castle Doctrine & Stand Your Ground laws. If you are in the middle of breaking the law, it is perfectly reasonable for you to EXPECT TO DIE at the hands of those that you are perpetrating acts of violence against, and for the defender to walk free. The ink on the paper of the law book says so.

      • Lynda Denson

A large segment of the black population seem to think that theft is okay… that “everybody does it”. I saw one black lady say, “Well he’s a black teenager! How else do you expect him to get the money he needs for going out with his friends?” It seems to be accepted in some parts of the black community as normal behavior that should not be punished. Theft is a CRIME and if one of your precious little thieves breaks into my house, I will shoot first and ask questions later. I have the right to live in my home and feel safety and security. I WORK hard for the possessions I own and I will not let some lazy teenager (no matter what color) break into my home to steal my possessions. In my opinion, if you break into a home, you deserve to be shot. One less thief in the world! If someone that I have observed sneaking through the bushes in the neighborhood (a neighborhood that had been experiencing thefts and crimes) came up behind me, knocked me down and started banging my head on the sidewalk, you better believe I would shoot them if I had a gun! Would I feel sorry if he was killed? NO! one less thief and thug in the world! I cannot believe that parts of the black community are trying to make this kid some kind of a hero…. and Michael Brown? He is not a hero. He was a bully, attempted murder, and street thug.

  • Sarah Goodwich

Did we ever find out who the stolen jewelry belonged to, and if it matched the homes that were broken into in Zimmerman’s neighborhood?
Zimmerman claimed that Trayvon Martin was walking between the houses, not on the authorized walkways, apparently casing homes to break into them for more loot.

It would certainly vindicate Zimmerman if it could be proved that TM was committing the break-ins.

  • Patricia Lockwood

Seeing Hillary going on about him, here’s some garbage on him.

  • s;vbkr0boc,klos;

Thousands of suburban idiot white ‘wiggers’ learned one thing from Trayvon – how to make ‘lean’ from Robitusion, skittles and juice drinks.
