A toilet: a perfect metaphor for the left cultural elite. The Trumps made an elegant request: “the first couple had asked for Van Gogh’s ‘Landscape With Snow,’ featuring a man and his dog.
Instead of complying with that request, or coming up with a similar alternative that they could offer to the Trumps, the gatekeepers (?), the loftiest of the leftist highbrows, show what pigs they really are.
With this classless and boorish offer, they didn’t soil the president, they soiled themselves. What vile sh-ts are these elites. This is the guggenheim sh-tting on America. On the will of the people. On the White House. This shows what the left thinks of the common man, the decent good people of this great nation.
“Museum offered used, solid-gold toilet to Trumps,” Associated Press, January 25, 2018:
New York – Donald and Melania Trump wanted to borrow a Van Gogh painting from a New York museum for their White House private quarters. Instead, The Washington Post reports , the Guggenheim Museum’s chief curator came up with a pointedly satirical counter-offer: a working solid-gold toilet made by an Italian artist.
The first couple had asked for Van Gogh’s “Landscape With Snow,” featuring a man and his dog.
Curator Nancy Spector has been openly critical of Trump in social media.
She emailed the White House Office of the Curator in September to say that the Trumps could borrow the toilet installation used by visitors in a museum restroom until mid-September. The 18-karat toilet , titled “America,” is Maurizio Cattelan’s jab at the nation’s greedier instincts. It has an estimated value topping $1 million.
Spector included a photograph in her email, saying, “We are sorry not to be able to accommodate your original request, but remain hopeful that this special offer may be of interest.”
The toilet could be “a long-term loan,” she wrote. “It is, of course, extremely valuable and somewhat fragile, but we would provide all the instructions for its installation and care.”
The Post said the White House has stayed silent on the subject.
In a museum blog last year, the curator referred to Trump as “he of the eponymous gilded tower” – including Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue where he has a huge apartment and office. The president favors the color gold, plating bathroom fixtures in his various homes with the precious metal and redecorating the Oval Office with gold-hued drapes.
The curator said his presidency has been “marked by scandal and defined by the deliberate rollback of countless civil liberties, in addition to climate-change denial that puts our planet in peril.”…

you need to read her reply to have a full appreciation

I have much more than ‘a full appreciation’ — so much that it gave me nausea
I wondered if it came with her curled up in it like the POS she is?!
That is one butt-ugly something-or-other. I didn’t know things like that actually existed.
My spouse asked us: “Why are most feminists so ugly? My friend she replied: “perhaps that is why they are feminists. If you cannot join them then beat them”
now I know what fugly stands for, I used to think it was fawking ugly – it really means feminist are ugly
It looks more like a something Picasso painted on an off day.
So she’s Kim Jung un with glasses and not as good a haircut?!
Leader Kim is FAR more attractive than that thing. Slightly pudgier .. but not nearly as ugly.
Title of picture “Still life of cow”.
LOL, good one.
Take a can of jellied eels from storage and enjoy, you deserve it!
http://lusciousness.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/jellied-eels.jpg
They will do, but the Japanese method of grilling them is a personal favourite.
I very much like grilled eel. Also, boiled with udon. Around forty years ago, countryside villages, you would have street vendors that served/sold it that way. Especially, in winter …. Brings back memories …
Such luxury was not available in the decadent west, but I like the thought of a time when there was a degree of independence and variety that was constantly changing. Now, prepackaged, microwavable, is the best we can do in the dismals.
My first exposure to eel, was countryside, outside of Tochigi ken. I’d had all type of snake before .. from bull snake to rattle snake, but never eel. My first taste was ell and udon, in broth … from a small street vendor, in a rather small village … I didn’t have it grilled for another week. I’ve been sold on it ever since. Just an aside, rattlesnake on a stick, over an open fire … that’s good groceries.
That is idyllic. No rattlesnakes around there, lots 800 miles south. We have to make do with muskrat on a stick, with mustard. You should have seen the look on a couple of American consultants when things like that happened. Apparently there are a lot of local culinary delicacies that are not know outside their locale.
I’ve trapped and shot more than a few muskrats, but never dined on one. I’ve had opossum and raccoon (neither would I recommend) but, I have never had muskrat. Someone told me once, that chicken tastes a great deal like rattlesnake.
If necessary, people will eat what is available. Reading the history of the dismals, coyote was considered quite acceptable. Though I am a bit fussy about what I eat, local Fish and Game association wild game suppers are a good place to try out some of these things. Though to be honest, typical domesticated beasts are adequate for me.
I’ve shot and skinned hundreds of coyotes .. but, that’s another delicacy upon which I have never dined. Killed hundreds upon hundreds of fox .. but all that I did with them, was take their ears for the county bounty.
There are some things that are best left for nature to decide what will feed off of it, people, being not potential customers.
No moose? No elk? No deer?
Those and buffalo are the standbys. Now that hunting is considered politically incorrect and dreadfully uncool, a lot of former game is making a comeback, to the point that it is a road hazard. Moose, deer and the occasional bear are frequent pedestrians on neighbourhood streets.
Deer are just vermin. In one of the suburbs, in which I own a few houses, they’re walking eight abreast down the street … 10 am or 2 pm … Bastids destroy everything. No moose. I still, if I live long enough, would like to drop ‘n dress one of those. Hopefully, not down a bloody ravine. If wishes were horses, beggars would ride. The number of hunters, in Nohio .. has drastically dropped. Hunting license sales were 30,000 fewer than just one year ago.
Hoary Crowe … Is this heaven? No, it’s New Sweden.
If you have to put up with these filthy things, it is not heaven. They have a trail that goes through my yard, right now it looks ok, lots of snow, but when it melts, the place looks like a feed lot, or a liberal convention.
No one poaches a few? That’s some fine looking meat.
Probably the occasional one gets poached, but considering the size of the “herd” not very many. They are remarkably stupid, one day, on a 20 or so mile drive, I counted 8 dead ones in the ditch, they have no concept of looking both ways before crossing the road. One even ran into me while I was stopped to let it cross. Very frequent occurrence. Moose are much worse as they tend to fall on the roof of the vehicle and crush it.
A white tail will total a car. I have done this … If it is a fresh hit, you call (at least you’re supposed to) the DNR. They’ll let you take them. I have dressed out fresh “road kill” and donated it to churches, that have food pantries, and homeless shelters, as there ain’t enough room in my freezers. Eight moose, that’s a lot of meat just going to waste. I suppose, with a moose you might need a bit of assistance.
Some people actually do process “road kill” getting quite a bit of useable meat off of it, but that is the exception, not the rule around here. As there are very few roads, most incidents occur at high speed, which does tend to pulverize everything.
That’s too bad …. again, I’ve never harvested a moose, much less eaten any. Even struck at a relatively high speed, most of the meat would be salvageable. I’ve seen cattle hit by a truck, that butchered up quite nicely. Don’t they issue tags or they a semi-protected species?
There is a season in the fall for moose, the tagging system is more or less designed to protect them.
Are they encouraging herd control? When deer population got quite high, in Iowa, in he mid-late eighties, for second season (which is only three days), the started issuing two permits. One HAD to be antlerless. Far too many does.
Hunters have a vested interest in taking care of the environment, keeping it healthy, with stable populations. As opposed to environmentalists who prefer nature to use starvation and disease to control wild life populations.
One thing people in California don’t seem to understand, is that the reason such animals avoid humans is that people shoot at them. So now it is illegal for people to shoot at mountain lions. And the mountain lions are coming back into the cities. Eating small pets, killing female joggers out in the woods, perching on homeowners rooftops so small children have to stay indoors, etc.
I noticed such things a long time ago, since I like to watch the animals on my long walks. But most people never seemed to notice, for some reason.
Today many people, especially those dwelling in cities have allowed their ability to be part of the natural world to be suppressed, in favour of instant gratification from artificial sources. This leads to total insensitivity to the world around them as they more introspectively focus on the irrelevant. Here in the middle of the dismal swamp, visitors unfamiliar with the natural world are amazed, as well as more than occasionally frightened when confronted with reality and themselves.
Looks just like a lefty loon; dour and sour.
Don’t know about a barrel of laughs, she is a crock though.
Thank you, most of this stuff writes itself.
Speaking of firing on all cylinders, back when the world was young and I a very much new comer to the decadent west, occasionally I got to witness “macho” men display how tough they are. A four cylinder tractor would be started, then, the candidate for machoness, would extend his fingers, put his thumbs on the engine block, touch the spark plugs simultaneously. If the tractor stalled, the candidate was considered homesteader material.
I have been to many a tractor pull. Started driving tractors, when I was eight. Never done heard of that one … What did they do if it was one of the old two cylinder “Johnny Poppers”?
In my part of the country they are called Popping Johnny. Only in museums now.
We had an old F-20 and a John Deere, two cylinder, which over the years were replaced. Although, I know one man that still curses the day of having to put in all his crop with the F-20. I was able to get together, with him, September last. He retired, sold his law practice about two years ago. We commiserated how the only thing we knew about farming was that it was work, hard back breaking work .. and that we wanted off of the farm. Had we known that the standard rotation crops, of the Iowa farmer, would become, corn, beans, and Florida … we’d be a heck of a lot better off. Hindsight is always 20/20. But, I know a “gentleman farmer” that has a fully restored Johnny Popper … and that’s what he uses.
Would not be possible with a 2 cylinder John Deer, unless someone had long arms, or two people doing it. There are a lot of things I never heard of, nor did a lot of people, when taking up residence in the dismal swamp. John Deer tractors used magnetos, I think, which would have made the demonstration somewhat more interesting.
Actually from what I have heard, this is not they type of thing one should do, though I must admit that I can think of a few people that wiring their fingers into the ignition of a Massy #44 tractor does have a certain appeal.
Somewhere I made a comment that I got a new “Okamoto” look it up, that is probably the reason, giggle.
I am familiar with Okamoto. It’s a surname. I’ve actually known two separate, not related, Okamotos …. they were both very nice people.
Their family business brings great pleasure to many.
Looks like I’m going to have to use one of those new fangled search engines … and cruise that worldwide interweb … there has to be something behind this.
Here’s me, trying to be subtle…
I see that it is a plastics and latex manufacturing company. Learn something new, every single day.
The joys of the internet, never an uninformed minute.
You need to do an internet search on “Okamoto” , you will find some interesting results having to do with latex.
Well, if you say so.
I couldn’t possibly comment.
One would not be able to chew their arm off, fast enough.
She looks like the German Nazi or Soviet henchwoman in a Bond movie….look at that face…..any wonder she picked the toilet for our President and First Lady?
She looks like the shag hag from some Austin Powers movie, Dr, Evil’s gash, perhaps?
Sh-t happens. France once sent us the statue of Liberty. It’s solid gold, I say receive it and put it on display so everyone knows what they think of us.
Receive it and have the FBI to disappear it for ever.
Damn.
If the Obamas had requested a Van Gogh for the White House, the museum would have brought at least ten as they approached the Obamas in the mien of subjects.
Honestly, I’ve never seen a POTUS dissed as much as President Trump is by the Leftists and the RINOs do at every opportunity.
thats because he also loves to trade insults ,gaining enemies and detracting from his positive policies. he really can be his own worst enemy sometimes.
Trump fights back.
I prefer him over the mealy moth traitors that have ALL folded to the left. The GOPe prefers to be liked RATHER than dissed. Trump fights back and I LOVE that.
Exactly. That’s why we voted for him. We’re tired of pu$$ies in the White House, apologizing for the greatness and success of America.
So, you prefer the spineless political hacks that usually populate every elected office? Trump is a force of Nature – an American original, warts & all! But under all that gruff stuff is a heart of gold (worth more than a mill!!), a person who loves this country, and a very plain – but honest – speaker. Deal with it! IMHO, it’s damn refreshing!! In all of that noise, he NEVER disses or disrespects us, the American people who happen to admire him greatly and appreciate all that he’s been doing for the betterment of this country and our economy!
unlike the liberal/socialists who hold flyover America in contempt
Right you are! Eventually, we’ll move even more patriotic Americans to both coasts so that the totally ILLIBERAL regressives won’t be in the majority there! “Flyover” America will stretch from sea to shining sea!!
Yup . And it will take strong and intelligent women bearing bunches of babies . Do that and added to progressives not adding themselves to the gene pool will be a winner .
yup*
Oops! Easier said (“bunches of babies”) than done, aebe! Some of us are out of the child-bearing business, but you’re right: Larger families should be encouraged and celebrated, but today’s high cost of everything makes that even more of a challenge than ever! We’ll just have to depend on websites like this one (Geller Report) to lead the charge!
While they were “punching” people on the “playground”, Kicking dirt in people’s faces like school yard bullies….that was fine….but now that they have someone who punches back harder they are running home to “mommie”, walling, and pouting……
This is actually a beautiful site to see…the Bullies getting a taste of their own medicine…..
It’s called payback. Turnabout is fair play!
There’s quite the rumbling to replace Wendy Clark …. Guggenheim grants may be, somewhat/drastically reduced. Yes, payback … and turnabout is fair play. I can hear the squealing now.
Trump may be sued as a result. Grants have to be awarded in a neutral manner.
Replacing the entire board of the NEA are the president’s purview. Our “pretend” lawyer is back …. TOO funny. I have SO much fun watching you humiliate yourself time, after time, after time. Keep it up and be a good little girl and keep “playing pretend”.
Constitution >>>>> POTUS purview. Nothing a little doxing can’t fix.
Now, aemoreira1981, I see that you’re back to playing “pretend lawyer”. GOOD girl!
Well, in his favour, he does make a very real imbecile.
I’m actually back into the site. Yes, aeoriera1981 is SUCH a good little girl, playing “pretend lawyer”. However, recently she’s taken to actually attempting to address her social and intellectual betters. That’s not being a very good girl, now is it?
A while ago someone was discussing things with it, if I remember correctly him/her/it is some sort of technical of implied superstition. It’s brain is like a monopoly board, with the token stuck on “Short Line” railroad.
Cruel. Cruel, but excellent.
Truth is inconvenient, verging on unpleasant for the really stupid.
Being rude while in the company of her betters .
Even being in the presence of her betters should not be allowed. The servants entrance is in the rear.
And the dumpster .
He does seem to have a preference for “rear” entrances.
You need a few more pounds of butter. You’re still on quite the roll.
Oh joy, buttered buns, my favourite.
I think he practices making stupid mistakes. You know, like thinking without a brain.
That is definitely the case.
Then one makes those officials’ lives a living hell by publishing their home addresses and where their children attend school.
Now, aemoreira1981, be a good little girl and go back to playing “pretend lawyer”.
What kind of weak, snivelling coward would try to attack someone by assaulting their children? Other than a muslim? You, little thing, are definitely not a man, you deserve to be bitch slapped by little girls.
Someone pushed to his or her breaking point.
Sissies break very easily, they deserve to be broken, then tossed in the garbage.
Have you been pushed to your breaking point, aemoreira1981? You poor little thing. Just go back to playing “make believe lawyer” and cease your foolish attempts to address your social and intellectual superiors. You will be much happier.
Wonderfully put, Mahou. I’ll loan my granddaughter.
There will be a lineup for this event.
That sounds like a threat. As such, I have flagged you.
Mess with anyone’s family and you will get righteously stomped for being the cowardly muslim goat sucker you are.
Since when? Grants are always issued in return for favorable results. Ask any scientist. Don’t come up with favorable results, and you will lose your grant funding.
As in “When they go low, we go high”?
I don’t practice that theory.
Obviously.
I never have either , it is disgraceful
Recall that the Muslim Marxist Obama’s reply to the upset Republicans when he started taking America down…”I won, you lost….get over it.”
Apparently that doesn’t work when it’s the other way around.
It’s quite the temper tantrum for adults to display because they didn’t get their way. Tell me, does anyone ever get their way all the time? I don’t, and have been trying all my life. I wonder what their secret is?
me neither. it is disgusting.
Will it come with Her IN it, lol?! That’s where we generally tend to put POS’s like her, lol!
The guggenheim used to be synonymous with class, it still is, very low class, peasantry, actually. It show that the ugly American has moved into the boorish lowlife of the self anointed pseudo intellectual elite. guggenheim, only fitting art for them to display would be “sketches from truck stop toilet walls” .
“The curator said his presidency has been “marked by scandal and defined by the deliberate rollback of countless civil liberties, in addition to climate-change denial that puts our planet in peril”. This curator, best qualified to be that of the Minot North Dakota land fill site.
Excellent. Your roll has returned, as in, “Butter her. She’s on a roll.”
Butter will work.
Margarine is more heart healthy.
Actually, that’s another of the “healthy rules”, that was disproved a little more than a decade ago. The transfat in margarine has, all of a sudden, made it less healthy than butter. I’m waiting for some new theory that will tell me that tobacco smoke is good for my health.
Have you noticed how some new study comes along occasionally telling us that coffee and/or alcohol is good or bad? They ping pong back and forth.
The VA doctor asked if I drank alcohol and I told her beer only. When she asked how much (stupid question) I said it depended on how long the ball game lasts. She got pissed.
I have never availed myself of the VA but, in this area, their facilities are incredible. I know several that utilize them, solely, for their medical needs and love the VA. In the past decade, I have seen a physician one time … and the question of tobacco was raised. Nice young physician, I told him that I still smoked, occasionally, and that I had really cut back, as I aged … I’d dropped from around four packs a day to only two. His mouth hit the floor.
I’ve had five VAMC’s refuse to provide service to me . The Vet’s Clinic in La Grande does pretty good considering they cannot keep doctors ( Flatlanders need to be more intensively entertained , I guess .)
Must be. Here, there’s Wade Park, which is a HUGE and ultra modern facility. Within less than forty miles, in each direction (N,S, E, W) there are large, fully staffed clinics. Sorry to hear about the poor facilities in other parts of the country.
Your self control is commendable.
I wouldn’t call it commendable. I just don’t like physicians.
That is normal I was that way until my first heart attack.
I am saddened to hear of that.
No, it’s ok, my Doctor is ok, one of the lab techs is a bit of a torturer though.
My father suffered his first heart attack, in his latter thirties. When the big brouhaha of cigarettes, etc., became every other ad on television, he and my mother quit smoking. He never drank alcohol to excess (social occasions two drink max), exercised and watched his diet. He died at fifty-eight. So, being one that believes in cause and effect, I increased my cigarette consumption to four packs a day and a fifth of single malt Scotch whiskey, daily.
Following strict regimen(s) like that, is responsible for my being a healthy old fart.
A balanced diet of a drink in one hand and a cigarette in the other should be ok, one must learn the lessons of our ancestors.
Unfortunately, around three decades ago, my designated smoking area became “outside”. Two and a half decades ago, my consumption of alcohol became restricted to times when my wife is absent.
“The best laid schemes o’ Mice an’ Men,
Gang aft agley.
An’ lea’e us nought but grief an’ pain,
For promis’d joy!”
Your wife is right, you will be rewarded with great opportunities to build character.
For the first six months, it was always loving remarks … and how she wanted me to be around for a long time. The next thirty (plus) years it has been screaming at me and the occasional beating.
Definitely a clear case of “Character development”.
My initial response, to you, was going to be: If thirty some years of this corrective action(s) had not built character, what’s another few decades. Thenb, the thought crossed my mind, “hope springs eternal”. After further deliberation … Nah!
Japanese are very patient.
Now you have me REALLY laughing!
Really, it’s true ask any of them.
I really do not need to ask. I have known the answer for many decades.
Just curious. Is this site down or have I, once again, ticked off a moslem or a nattering nabob?
Looks like Pamela’s site is down again. Security warning comes up.
The best thing I found for heart problems is good quality, first cold pressing, extra virgin olive oil (not mixed). There is a lot of fraud in the industry so one has to be careful.
Other oils that I’ve tried seem to make the problems worse.
Actually I have been banned from the kitchen for culinary crimes that are alien to the species. As one of my descendants lives in the basement, goes to school and after discussion with the powers that be, has a bucket of offal, carrion and assorted vegetation which is dished out as required. He is fussy about olive oil used.
I just read that whiskey is good for many things, such as diabetes, weight control and keeping Alzheimer’s under control. My luck is that I drink vodka with cranberry juice for healthy kidneys.
Hydrogenated oils have been found to cause … gastric distress in lab animals . My innards enjoyed the switch back to butter though .
Have no fear. I’m still acquiring data.
Nope . Fat of that hardness is just that , the only qualifier being , hydrogenated oils .
Fact.
A rollback for the NEA is in order.
Considering that they have a bad attitude, definitely yes, they have degenerated to the point that truck stop toilet stall art is about all they understand.
Absolutely.
Land fill? That works! The leftists “elites” (which are actually the OPPOSITE of “elite!”) will one day stew in their own juices! Trump’s supporters will stand strong this year, especially as the economy is slowly gaining important momentum. But the Left actually is the embodiment of that famous adage, “None is so blind as he who will not see, nor as deaf as he who will not hear!” The Truth is very much on OUR side!
Hey! Wait a minute here. Grand Forks comes first. Greater need!
Clearly the curator is a s#!+head.
Or you have no sense of humor.
No, she is a dork, not unlike yourself.
If that’s humor, it must be leftist drivel that passes among the libturds as “humor” (and not even funny sick humor, either!). Anyway, I totally agree with spclop8tr: Namely, the curator is a s**t head working in a sh*thole (the Guggenheim!).
You must have nearly split your sides laughing at the pathetic Kathy Griffin beheading ” joke ” then????
That was funny.
No, you are stupid.
they should put the toilet in the rose garden with a butt-erfly bush in it
Same smug, self satisfied, passive aggressiveness as displayed towards Robert Spencer at Stanford U. where the administration filled the auditorium with students who stood up as a group and walked out after 10 minutes, and prevented interested students from attending. The intellectuals on the Left are so clever, so obnoxious and nasty.
They may be clever now but they are storing trouble up for later.
Arab oil sheikh zillionaires actually own and use solid gold toilets – a Saudi royal has one in his private jet. Her Muslim friends would probably appreciate the offer and miss totally the irony.
It’s the Left that declares things like this to be art. Right wingers want to see skillfully executed works of beauty. Left wingers want to see crudely made objects that are ugly. This toilet is not art. It’s a working toilet and it’s gold. So what! Where’s the artistry? The intent is, literally, to crap all over the Western tradition of beautiful art that elevates.
The Trumps requested ‘Landscape With Snow’ and were offered ‘America’ instead. This is analogous with how our institutions work. The common people want their institutions to work in the national interest but get, instead, Leftist insults and policies that work only in the interests of the Global elite.
The golden toilet is not just symbolic in that it is actually used in the Guggenheim lavatory. It is an exercise in sympathetic magick to enable the Left and naive visitors to crap on America. Perhaps Trump should accept the toilet and then have it ritually destroyed.
You hit on something most don’t get. Lefts art is paintings and sculptures. Most of us see art in design and engineering that has symmetry and the more complex, the more desirable, with out becoming overly sophisticated. I see art in graphics on vehicles that is better than anything the left can call art. A Beech Starship is one of the most beautiful aircraft you can see, a flying artwork, and then there is the Constellation designed by Howard Hughes. It was built when you walked up and went up an open stairs, that you seen the graceful lines.
I remember seeing a 60 Minutes program years ago where people were buying blank white canvases and three vacuum cleaners stacked inside glass cabinets for about $130,000, the con men artists were laughing all the way to the bank.
Taste does vary but I would much prefer the old masters rather than some crazy like picasso crudely depict ugly and deformed women.
Probably stole anyway from Mugabwe’s “palace” as I hear that the plumbing is in gold. The Zimbabweans starve but the plumbing is in gold.
“The 18-karat toilet , titled “America,” is Maurizio Cattelan’s jab at the nation’s greedier instincts.”
It’s from an Italian artist and as it says, it’s a jab at America – not Zimbabwe though they really do use gold plumbing and no one here does.
I have no idea, as to why, but I must have angered a moslem or a nattering nabob. Seems as if I can no longer access this site.
There seems to be a problem, others have mentioned that too, maybe they are doing system maintenance? A day or two ago, I had problems for a few minutes, it cleared up quickly though.
I can access some comment stream, through Disqus, but not the site. More than likely, I deserve it. I’ll try every other day or so.
Much weirdness, normally when there is a problem with the site, it clears up in a day or two at the most. This is the site I am using, is ok now. https://pamelageller.com
That’s what I have always used for access. But, I’m blocked. Habib may have not liked it when I asked him the question about his bare left hand.
Just now, when I try to get into the Geller report, I get a 404 error. Something is wrong, suspect somehow access to the site is being hidden or blocked.

Anyone in the Geller office on the switch board today?
Tried a VPN?
No, I haven’t. Actually, until your recommendation/suggestion, I had never considered one. However, for 2.75 a month, if problems persist … that’s not much money to “hide”.
Ms. Geller’s website, along with Jihadwatch are under constant cyber attack — whether or not its origin is the muslum world or US federal “law enforcement” entities or both is anyone’s guess.
I can access comment stream, through Disqus, but not Ms. Geller’s site. I must have angered some moslem or nattering nabob.
It’s somewhat amusing. There is “chat solutions” available and a picture of swarthy mid-east type comes up. I have asked it what it is like to wipe, following defecation, with a bare left hand.
ya reap what ya sow , i support some of trumps policies but lets all be honest the guy is a loudmouthed arrogant jerk and his endless verbal diarrhoea detracts from some of his good works ,earning him more enemies and insults .
We all have our faults, now don’t we?
sort out the assertiveness, and total lack of wasting time beating around the bush , to , avoiding the over used diplomatic approach of not hurting grown adults with the bouquet of never-ending politically correct words
….the era of complete censure-ship shall not pass unchallenged, for it is a hindrance to common sense and all that is good
.or something like that
You nailed it.
I like Donald’s frankness and in some respects I think he is too restrained. Political correctness be damned.
I’d rather have a loud-mouthed arrogant jerk spewing endless verbal diarrhea than the America-hating Kenyan-born communist who did everything in his power to destroy this nation for 8 years, and who made great progress toward that goal.
Grow a set and figure out what is important and what is not. Playing nice is not important; saving the nation from the destructive path it is on is important. The time for nice is over – it’s time to break some china, bust some heads, drain the swamp, and make some positive progress in this nation.
The enemies he “earns” aren’t worth the spit he loses when churning out all those well-deserved insults!
Nancy Spector is no Sister Wendy in the art world. Spector makes a spectacle of her ignorance.
Liberals are crass and vulgar.
Piss on Nancy Spector, that phfukking kunnt..
With one grave exception: Edna is far more attractive.
Trump should take the toilet, and place it in the visiting ‘uni-sex’ White House Press Corp restroom !!!
Actually, Trump should put it up for auction and donate the proceeds to vets as he did with his salary this year!
Now where is little Nancy gonna eat her lunch?
In the park with democrat pigeons.
Is it slightly used? Coming from the left, I don’t think so. But I still take it, anyway. But at a big discount.
So pompous. I take it they feel the same about me a Trump supporter.
Pay back comes in unusual ways. The museum will regret it in the future. I think . The president of the United States isn’t called the most powerful
Man in the world for nothing. Buck a Christian 100% disabled Vietnam veteran ??⚔?? right wing republican life time member NRA and friend to Israel
I like your credentials, Buck!! Impressive resume – and God bless you for your service to our country!
the ‘curator’ extraordinaire son of bitch Nancy Spector forgot to include herself to be permanently flushed accordingly…….
What a stupid low-brow petty classless desperate stunt by the gugglerheimen..why couldn’t they just decline the request like any normal human being?
Because Trump goes low. You have to go lower.
Now, now, aemo. Here you are addressing your social and intellectual betters again. Be a good little girl and go back to playing “pretend lawyer”.
You would know all about low. Low is your comfort zone.
When Trump eventually leaves office he will become a major business, entertainment and social force to contend with. The ozone inhabitants at the Guggenheim Museum et al. might then find life less culturally satisfying.
Namely: payback.
And I expect the elegant First Lady has a long memory.
The Founding Fathers – for the first time in known history – said government should
be of, by and for the people. That it must answer to what the people decide and
want – and not rule over or tyrannize people. But there will always be those in
high positions who disagree with the Founding Fathers. They’re not only
treacherous but – as the Founding Fathers realized – so many of them are idiots.
Highbrow elite Nancy Spector is a perfect example of why We The People got
fed up and put Donald Trump in office. There she is as Curator of one of the
greatest collections of art in the world at The Guggenheim, hobnobbing with
the glitterati and yet sending the President of the United States an insulting
toilet bowl because of her opposing and blatantly stupid views. Her petty
vindictiveness is stunning. Imagine the likes of her in a governmental position
of power – trying to rule over the rest of us. She reminds me of that evil
idiot from just the other day – the editor of Newsweek Pakistan, Ahmed
Fasih – who said sexual abuse of children was okay because “it sometimes
results in great art” – which, of course, the other idiot Spector would
deeply appreciate.
The administration should send her a note that says ‘Dear Miss Blah Blah Blah….
We are in receipt of the toilet bowl and are returning it herewith, as it was in
extremely poor taste. Sincerely yours, Chief of Protocal, The White House ‘
They should not sink to the level of swampy sewage she is obviously obsessed
with.
All of these cruds in the Media (like Fasih) – the Arts (like Spector) – the celebrities –
academia – sports figures – racial and illegal immigrant groups – Antifa anarchists –
the DEMS and RINOS etc. who constantly insult our President make me sick!
If you’re sick, why not exit this world and cure yourself?
aemoreira1981 better yet, why don’t you? You would be doing us all a great favor.
You actually wrote – on this very thread – to another commenter when
he challenged your hair-trigger nerves: “Too bad you weren’t in that
hotel in Kabul”. That hotel in Kabul where people were just massacred,
including many Americans.
The only one sick on this forum is you.
That poster deserved that comment. That’s not being sick. I am aware of what happened in Kabul.
Sure you are aware of what happened in kabul, you give no indication of being aware that you filled your diaper.
So you think that the poster – whose comments to you contained NO
violence – deserved to be told he should’ve been in the hotel in Kabul.
And you say you are aware of what happened there.
A murderous atrack by the MUSLIM TALIBAN who have gone on to
slaughter 95 more and wound 158 in another area of Kabul – since
the hotel attack this month.
Wishing one of the commenters could’ve been massacred by the
Muslim Taliban says it all about you. Get lost, Sicko.
She’s just angry, due to when she plays “pretend lawyer”, she always gets caught telling her bald faced lies. She doesn’t like that.
Now, now, little aermoreira. Be a good little girl and go back to playing “pretend lawyer”. You really shouldn’t be addressing your social and intellectual betters. That’s being a bad little girl.
You make a lot of people sick, how about being a great humanitarian and removing yourself from their misery?
The one thing that “progressives” are unable to hide, is their sheer and utter contempt and stratospheric arrogance toward their political adversaries.
That foundational personality flaw in the minds of “progressives”, will be their downfall!
To paraphrase, Guggenheim, we hardly knew ye.
Once more, from your lips (keyboard) to G-d’s ear.
How is this for “Class” from a “prestigious” art gallery?
I’m surprised they didn’t try to borrow the “Crucifix in Urine’ from the NYMA to give to the White House.
They should loos tax exempt status and not receive any federal or state funds.
For what?
Is it customary for museums, particularly the Guggenheim, to loan out original pieces of art from the most famous artists who ever lived? The foundation annually lends hundreds of works of art from its collections to other museums and institutions around the world.- Wikipedia
I imagine it also lends art out to individuals who meet a certain standard of station, fame, power and wealth.
Was it an insult to offer the First Lady a gold commode seat instead of the artwork requested? Of course it was. Perhaps there’s history there, who knows. The Guggenheim certainly isn’t concerned how the President or the rest of the world views it’s brash snobbery aimed at the most powerful couple on the planet. I somehow think it won’t bode too well for the museum in the long run. Ordinarily what goes around, comes around.
With the rise of interest in Jordan Peterson, his mention of Jung’s “Animus Possession” is something to look up when considering what makes Nancy tick.
Jung? You talkin’ my main man, Carl Gustav? Man and His Symbols? When I was a junior in high school, a teacher gave me a copy. It was an interesting work.
An un-called-for insult to the first family.
Hi, Gordon Miller. It’s an insult to the citizenry of the United States of America.
Where’s your sense of humor?
Now, aemoreira, be a good little girl and go back to playing “pretend lawyer”.
Too bad you weren’t in that hotel in Kabul.
Now, aermoreira1981. Here you were a GOOD girl, and went back to playing “pretend lawyer. But, now you’re attempting to address your social and intellectual betters. Be a good little girl and go back to playing “pretend lawyer”.
aemoreira 1981
Really isn’t any fun
There is the silly rumour
That you have a sense of humour
Nope, just a boring sample of stun.
this is the perfect curator for a time when there is no art. this make believe decade began with the election of an america-hating grifter into the oval office and continued only becoming worse with a second election. we have become a humorless, ignorant, illiterate and unteachable nation on the edge of the abyss. Americans elected Donald Trump in a last gasp hope to save our republic. he is doing everything that has pulled us back from the brink, resulting from the previous aberrant administration. ridding ourselves of collaborators is hard even when strong pesticides are utlized. some cockroaches hang on until they keel over. one has to spray over and over again. again.
Boric acid, along the baseboards, just might work wonders.
The Guggenheim needs it more than the Trumps
Who in the hell! gives a flip about the Guggenheim? These turdbucket elites and libtards act like a three old who pitches a fit when they can’t have a cookie.
I tell you, I knew the Dimms and Globalists were not totally sane….but the winning of President Trump and America has exposed them more than anything else I’ve ever seen……MAGA…drive the enemies of America -foreign and domestic- crazy.
If this was pulled on Obama, that curator would be looking for a job….in another country.
Not in NYC.
Well, maybe, he is a muslim, they are not renowned as conversant in toilet use technology.
They soiled themselves those small and disgusting individuals. They sent what they are: a toilet and its contents.
As far back as the Bible….”you will know them by their deeds….”
Snarky.
What a FK insult. They would give Obama anything.
*PURE EVIL VULGARITY* ATTACKING A PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES – ANY QUESTIONS ON THE *SPIRITUAL* CONDITION OF THE *LEFT* ?
IMAGINE IF THE *RIGHT*HAD DONE (ANY) OF THOSE **VICIOUS EVIL VULGAR** THINGS ATTACKING “OBAMA &/OR HILLARY” WHILE THEY WERE IN OFFICE !!!
THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN *RABID* *VENOMOUS* {DARK-SIDE} *CIVIL WAR* !!!
ENOUGH SAID ABOUT THE *DIFFERENCE* BETWEEN *LEFT* & *RIGHT* !!!
Trump could take the toilet and hook it up
– when it flushes, could empty into DNC headquarters
After everything that the Trumps have done for New York City perhaps Nancy Spector would be kind enough to take a “selfie” with her head completely submerged in the gold toilet and send it to President Trump. Extra points if she defecated in it first and didn’t flush proving she is fine with wallowing in her own fecal matter. .
Since Donald Trump supports the arts in NYC, I wonder how much money he donated to the Guggenheim? Or does Ms. Spector have no idea..?
What a miserable person she is.
The curator of that museum is stuck in the first ice age. He needs to come to the current century.
Sounds like the lefty curator is used to dealing with Socialist/Communist leaders. Gold is a commodity. How can I take this any other way other than an outright bribe offer to a government official. They should lose all licenses and tax breaks. I wonder what the estimated value is on a Van Gogh these days? Doesn’t really matter, they stole it from the worker in that dirty Capitalist society.
