“Act of Terrorism”: Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic assassinated in Kosovo

12

I have written extensively on the conflict and have repeatedly warned that signing off on an “independent Kosovo” paved the way for a jihad terror state in the heart of Europe. This but more of the poisonous fruit from Bill Clinton’s disastrous intervention in the Bosnian war on behalf of the Bosnian Muslims against the Christian Serbs.

Serbia has called the assassination “an act of terrorism.”

Of course this is getting scant, if any, media attention. But if it were a Bosnian or Albanian politician, there would be enormous global outrage, as if on cue.

Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic gunned down in Kosovo

Prominent Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic was killed in the ex-Serbian province of Kosovo as representatives of Belgrade and Pristina were set to meet in Brussels. The murder stands to aggravate the simmering conflict.

DW.com, January 16, 2018 (thanks to Lookmann):

Kosovo Serb politician Ivanovic shot dead

The 64-year-old Ivanovic was shot in the Serbian area of Kosovska Mitrovica, the city divided between Albanians and Serbs, on Tuesday morning.

According to Ivanovic’s lawyer, Nebojsa Vlajic, the attacker used a pistol and shot Ivanovic five times in front of his office. Other sources reported the attacker opened fire from a moving vehicle.

“He was taken to the hospital right away,” the lawyer told the Serbian daily Blic. “The doctors tried to revive him, but he could not be saved.”

Kosovo Serbs head to the polls – again

According to Serbian media, he was assassinated in front of his party office in Kosovska Mitrovica. Kosovo police said they were looking for the attackers, with heavy police presence visible near the party quarters. Radio Kosova reports that the security forces found the car used by the attackers, which had been set alight.

The police offered a €10,000 ($12,250) reward for the information on the attackers.

DW’s Serbian department tweeted a video from the scene, saying that police blocked off the center of the Serbian-controlled part of Kosovska Mitrovica.

Serbia calls emergency security meeting

Leaders of Kosovo, Albania, and Serbia condemned the killing, with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic calling for an emergency national security meeting. Vucic described it as an “act of terror” and said that he asked EU and UN officials in Kosovo to include Serbian security forces to investigate the killing.

The news also prompted a Serbian delegation in Brussels to walk out of a meeting with Pristina representatives on Tuesday. The procedural talks had been set to resume on Tuesday after a long break over political issues in Pristina.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama described the Ivanovic murder as a “tragedy” aimed at breeding “hate and tensions.”

“The efforts for dialogue and peace should not be stopped,” he wrote on Twitter.

Igor Soltes, the EU Parliament Rapporteur on Kosovo, warned that incidents like these could destabilize security in the region.

The peaceful situation “could break down very quickly” he told DW. “I think it’s crucial that everyone on both sides respond soberly and reasonably and attempt to reduce any tensions through dialogue, which could otherwise lead to violence.”

EU spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic called on all sides “to show calm and restraint.”

Serbian royal decries killing

Ivanovic’s political activity brought him into conflict with Pristina officials; he also occasionally clashed with other Kosovo Serb politicians and powerful figures in Belgrade.

Serbian Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, a member of the royal family, which is largely sidelined in the Balkan country, also issued a statement on the politician’s murder. In a cryptic message, the prince said that the murder had “many perpetrators and even more directors,” possibly hinting at the climate created by Kosovo state officials.

“Those who […] believe that, even today, the best way to solve a problem is to gun down your political opponent — those people survived, and they are continuing their criminal quest,” he said in a statement.

Ivanovic rose to prominence after the Kosovo war in 1999, which ended with Serbian forces pulling out of the mostly Albanian-populated region. The former Serbian province formally declared independence in 2008.

Another reason to exterminate muslims.

In retrospect, reading the New York Times and consuming other U.S. mainstream media coverage of the 1990s Balkans wars is my own best firsthand experience of being propagandized, lied to and pitilessly duped on a broad front by the globalist-islamist axis and I will never forget it or ever trust them again.
This is another muslim sh tt hole left by the Bush-Clinton-Bush-obama junta for Trump to clean up.

Just like so many here who have noticed the contradictions, the omissions and the outright lies by the MSM and politicians, and who have decided to lift up the carpet and are shocked to see what lay and still lies under it. Thus looking backwards you notice the slow, determined corruption of Leftism into law and education and medicine(including and especially psychiatry and psychology) starting from the SDS heyday in the 1960s (with many of its then radical extremists now happily ensconced in positions of power) and you can see an overall plan to castrate and split the west by slowly perverting the law, by indoctrinating children and students and by undermining freedoms all in the name of leftist “liberty”(there is NO such thing). this was planned and carefully orchestrated and masked by the death of the USSR whose agents are still active in the name of Marx.

this is horrific. it also can start a whole other strategy of the car rammers, which is to do this around the world. everything is so out of control with so much lying and pandering and sickening insane threats and there’s no oversight. our institutions like our media, once our watchdogs and the fourth estate, no longer exists. some sort of weird tabloid goebbels driven propaganda has taken its place. leaders, like our President, donald trump, Israel’s netanyahu, are slurred continually non stop with outright lies. the serbs helped us fight the nazis. the croates were nazis. that’s what i know. the serbs are the good guys.

As usual, Hillary Clinton and her sex addict husband were on the wrong side!! Everyday I wake up and Thank GOD Hillary lost!

Thinking ? back I remember Somalia and our dead military being dragged through the streets.

The Clintons and I believe both of them, with Hillary being the most nasty, corrupt and vile part of the duo, should have been thrown out of the Whitehouse!
