Trump promised he would drain the swamp. Instead, it looks as if he is drowning in it. His DHS Secretary, John Kelly, had this letter written to Hassan Shibly of Hamads-CAIR’s Tampa chapter.
Here is some important information about the man whom Trump’s DHS wants to work with:
In August 2014, Shibly tweeted that “Israel and its supporters are enemies of God.” In November 2006, following the 2006 Lebanon War between Israel and Hezbollah, Shibly, whilst wearing a keffiyeh around his neck, told his university’s publication that Hezbollah was “basically a resistance movement” and “absolutely not a terrorist organization.”
Story continues below advertisementIn November 2016, Shibly retweeted a tweet made by the Palestinian Information Center, the media arm of Hamas which publishes Hamas communiques, gruesome anti-Semitic cartoons, and praise for murders of Israelis. The tweet was of a video of Arab-Israeli member of Knesset (Parliament) Ahmad Tibi shouting the Azan (Islamic call to prayer) in front of the Knesset. Tibi, like Shibly’s comment about Hezbollah, has stated, “I never use the expression ‘terrorist organization,’ when talking about Hamas. You will never hear those words out of my mouth.”
Shibly is an admirer of controversial Islamic lecturer Khalid Yasin, who, during a 2005 interview, stated the following about non-Muslims and homosexuals: “There’s no such thing as a Muslim having a non-Muslim friend. If you prefer the clothing of the kafirs over the clothing of the Muslims, most of those names that’s on most of those clothings is faggots, homosexuals and lesbians.” In September 2014, then-Fox News host Megyn Kelly pointed out on her show that, for at least four years, Shibly has referred to himself as a “fan” of Yasin on his Facebook page.
Shibly has targeted gays, himself. In May 2009, Shibly wrote on Facebook, “Pre-Marital Sex and Homosexuality are quick ways to earn God’s wrath.”
Trump’s DHS shouldn’t be partnering with the likes of Hassan Shibly. It should be investigating the likes of Hassan Shibly.

Perhaps General Kelly is more familiar with battle field tactics than deep sewer poloy`ticks.

Americans who have noticed that the anti-Trump protests have died down and are fewer and less violent than after his win should not be fooled. Liberals, the media and the media have not begin to respect him or accept his policies, but he has backtracked on so many of the policies he promised during his campaign there is so much less to attack and criticise. Instead of the tough (and necessary) line on Islam and immigration, we are becoming used to statements like this from his government. Sad and deeply worrying for the ordinary Americans who voted for him, hoping for change.

Although “his authority is being chipped away” in some areas, it’s the obstructionists in Congress and obama’s federal agencies who are failing to do their job of executing President Trump’s executive orders, mandates and requests on important issues that are not within the powers of the executive branch to execute. They are doing this to disenfranchise Trump’s supporters. Unfortunately for these vile globalists, we support President Trump even more with every obstruction he faces.

None of the people you identified has anything, at all, to do with Kelly. Trump placed him there and keeps him there. I’m trying my best to stay positive about the Trump administration. I keep reassuring myself that at least Trump isn’t Hillary. But on the other hand, all these guys who have found there way into our national security infrastructure don’t seem to know diddly squat about the true nature of Islam. Scary.
BTW, Robert Mueller, the former FBI head who is conducting the bogus investigation about Trump/Russia collusion was head of the FBI back when the Muslim Brotherhood demanded and got the right to purge the FBI’s counterterrorism manuals of anything they found objectionable. I get the impression that Trump is probably in the dark about that whole episode, and as far as I know nothing has been unpurged.

It’s very troubling, pennant8. Possibly with all the distractions created by the liberals and their disgusting media, Trump is oblivious to the fact that John Kelly, Henry McMaster and James Mattis are utterly clueless regarding Islam and the Qur’an. Learning that Robert Mueller is yet another clueless ass does not bode well for the Trump administration when the rot among military, supposedly intelligence and security people is so deep. I’m astounded. What are they teaching in U.S. military colleges and in the military? The rot in America is now so deep only ruthless policies will turn the country around.

We still have “about 50” muslim training camps in this country, also!! AND, now…every grammar school in every state, is teaching young children, everything they need to know about islam!!! Is that because we have a wonderful leader, or a wonderful government??

I agree with your sentiments. Just as God punished Israel for rejecting him with years in exile in first Babylon and then in Persia, I believe he punishes other nations for their rejection of what He expects of them after they once proclaimed belief in Him. Examples of this are Britain, Western Europe, Canada and the United States. These nations had better humble themselves and ask forgiveness or grim time are ahead.

And yet, AND YET — in just another post THIS SAME DAY, Ms. Geller’s website lambastes “Obama holdovers” in the U.S. State Department, and the evil New York Times, as the ones entirely at fault for allowing Caliph Al-Baghdadi of ISIS infamy, to apparently escape a US operation we had thought killed him a few days ago. I deplore Al-Baghdadi’s survival too, and oppose official US cooperation with CAIR, but why can’t you folks admit that PRESIDENT TRUMP DOESN’T HAVE A CLUE what he is doing, or how to frame a consistent Mideast policy?
