Churches In Egypt Halt All Activities For Remainder Of July Amid Terror Threat

Story continues below advertisementEgyptian churches announced Thursday they will suspend all church activities for the remainder of July per warnings of looming terrorist attacks.
The Evangelical, Coptic Orthodox, and Catholic churches agreed to halt services, conferences, and any church trips to protect their congregations after Egyptian security forces warned them of impending Islamic terrorist attacks, according to a Friday report from Egyptian Streets.
“The decision was taken by the three churches after they had consulted security sources,” a church leader told Al-Masry Al-Youm. “It’s important to protect Christians and their gatherings.”
Churches in Alexandria, however, opted instead to continue their services with stricter security, including police checks, private church security checks, and metal detectors, according to Al-Masry Al-Youm.
The churches’ response to this latest threat comes in the wake of a series of ISIS attacks that have targeted Christians in the region. ISIS threatened to “cleanse” Cairo of Christians in February propaganda video. ISIS militants have tried to make good on their threat since then, killing at least 29 Coptic Christians in a May attack and injuring 25, after an April attack that left 45 dead.

Thank God, we have you and Mr. Spencer as seekers of Truth regarding the religion of hate, Islam. The press will only target Trump, because that meets their agenda. Just watch one of the White House News Conferences. Its a complete joke. College educated Journalist that can’t think for themselves, and don’t understand a thing when given a answer. I have to laugh mark down how many times the same question is answered over and over, again and again.

Where is the pope and other leaders of Christianity? Kissing the qur’an? proselytizing for islam? Grovelling to imams, providing their facilities to be used as muslim prayer rooms? When the Shepard is a chicken, the sheep are lunch. There is going to have to be a new Christian evolve, one that does not follow false profits luring them into the desert for slaughter, but capable of thought and action about what a Christian really is. 6 years agoMuslims had better be thankful for Christ’s restraining command to love your enemies and do good to those who despite fully use you. Civilization was made much better by the influence of Christianity. But we can easily see what Islam does to ANY land it infects.

I would think continued awakening of the West to the things we can do to protect our way of life e.g. boycotts, keeping sharia out of our institutions as able including the courts especially, vetting incoming people, and punishing criminals appropriately, etc. Even communicating on blogs like this is important. 6 years agoLet’s be clear, WW3 is happening as we speak, and the enemy is all of Islam. This is the forerunner of the coming Islamic Caliphate that the Islamic Antichrist and false prophet/false Christ will re-form from the ashes of the dead Ottoman Islamic Empire. The Islamic Caliphate and the Ottoman Empire are the actual feet and legs of the statue in Daniel, not incarnations of the old Roman Empire, and a great many will be blindsided when they realize how wrong they were. The signs are clear, and Islam doesn’t bother to pretend that it is a peaceful or respectable religion, and still western leaders choose blindness, pretending that Islamophobia is an actual reality, giving a free pass to Muslims who deserve it the least. There is no peaceful version of Islam, WW3 is upon us, and Jihad IS Islam. Time to wake up and stop taking the idiot-pills!

6 years agoIf they want to “teach thru example”, there must be a deadline for results. There has been successful conversions of Muslims but the historical failure rate is too glaring! Its called ethnic cleansing & genocide. It is sinful to offer up ones children or grand kids as martyrs just to make us feel righteous!
