Catholic Churches in Jerusalem Blame Israel for Muslim Violence

128

Some in the Catholic Church are actually blaming Israelites for violence at the Temple Mount.

Oh, they’re not coming right out and saying Israel is the aggressor. But they’re suggesting as much.

The Catholic Church seems to be suggesting that the security Israel’s put in place to help prevent terrorist attacks is fueling violence — againt the innocent, peace-loving Palestinians.

This is unbelievable.

Story continues below advertisement

As Robert Spencer with Jihad Watch writes:

This is the classic dhimmi mentality, the mindset of those who have been subjugated for so long under Muslim hegemony that they can’t imagine viewing the world in any other way. For centuries, Christians in Muslim lands were inculcated with the idea that if they criticized Islam in any way, even the slightest negative word, they would be killed. They got used to praising their masters and overlords, however contrary to fact the praise may have been, simply as a matter of survival. Then the Arab nationalist movement, which was begun in large part by Christian Arabs as an attempt to place themselves on equal footing with the Muslims on a secular and ethnic basis, thereby mitigating the institutionalized discrimination of the Sharia, resulted only in the Christian Arab communities completely adopting Muslim political perspectives, and identifying themselves with the jihad agenda.

So what’s the story?

Breaking Israel News reports how amid all the tensions on Temple Mount, Catholics are coming forward to blame Israel for fueling the violence — and one bishop in particular, is actually saying the Palestinians have committed no acts of aggression.

Amid the intensifying battles surrounding the Temple Mount, the Catholic Church expressed its concerns in terms that placed the blame entirely on Israel while referring to the site exclusively by its Muslim name. One bishop stated in an interview on Vatican Radio that there has, in fact, been no Palestinian violence.

On Sunday, Pope Francis addressed the crowd gathered in the Vatican’s St. Peter’s Square, telling them that he viewed “with trepidation the grave tensions and violence” surrounding the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

“I feel the need to express a distressed appeal for moderation and dialogue,” the Pope said, calling on the people to pray for the sake of Jerusalem.

The violence the Pope is referring to began ten days ago when three Palestinian terrorists murdered two Druze Israeli policemen while they guarded the entrance to the Temple Mount. The Israeli police entered the site and, after a gunbattle, killed the three terrorists.

The Israeli government closed the site to all visitors until Sunday, when it reopened to Muslims with increased security measures that included walk-through metal detectors. The Islamic Waqf, the Muslim trust which controls the Temple Mount, called for a boycott of the site. Muslim crowds rioted last week and three Palestinians were killed in clashes with Israeli police.

On Friday night, a Palestinian, citing the situation at the Temple Mount as his motivation, entered the town of Halamish. There, he murdered a 70-year-old grandfather and his middle-aged son and daughter while they sat at their Sabbath table. He also seriously wounded the 68-year-old grandmother.

In the wake of the growing violence, the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem released a statement. Signed by the heads of all 13 Christian communities in Jerusalem, it condemned the recent escalation of violence at the Temple Mount, but did so in language that clearly favored the Palestinians and condemned Israel. The statement referred to the site by its Arabic names, disregarding any Jewish or Christian connection to the site.

“We, the Heads of Churches in Jerusalem, express our serious concern regarding recent escalation in violent developments around Haram ash-Sharif and our grief for the loss of human life and strongly condemn any act of violence,” the statement read.

The statement said that the violence was due solely to a change in the status quo, i.e. placing metal detectors at the entrances to the Temple Mount.

“We are worried about any change to historical (Status Quo) situation in al-Aqsa Mosque (Haram ash-Sharif) and its courtyard, and in the holy city of Jerusalem. Any threat to its continuity and integrity could easily lead to serious and unpredictable consequences, which would be most unwelcome in the present tense religious climate.

“We value the continued custody of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy places in Jerusalem and the Holy Land which guarantees the right for all Muslims to free access and worship to al Aqsa Mosque according to the prevailing Status Quo.

“We renew our call that the historical Status Quo governing these sites be fully respected, for the sake of peace and reconciliation to the whole community, and we pray for a just and lasting peace in the whole region and all its peoples.”

The statement made no mention of the Muslim terror attack that led to Israel placing the metal detectors at the entrances to the site. Nor did it refer to the horrific Palestinian terror attack on Friday.

Same here.

As a practicing Catholic I will never abide by any Church ruling to protect, aid, or even get along with, ANY Muslims until Muslims clean up their own nest.

That means rounding up their own criminals and mass executing them.

Renouncing their hatred of Israel and Jews, (and infidels in general) and forming human shields to protect Israel and Jews.

Kicking the snot out of any of their own who vandalize Jewish, (and Infidel’s in general) property.

Kicking the crap out of any supporting Nazi policies.

Yada, yada, etcetera, etcetera.

You get my drift.

I’ve lived in MIddle East countries for almost two years, been attacked by Muslim pirates every time we sailed into a Muslim country, or through Muslim waters, and am DONE believing “words” from any of their public spokespersons because so far ALL have turned out to be backstabbing snakes in the grass.

Providing that gives you the chance to clear up any misunderstanding.

Do understand that everything from Genesis to Malachi were written in Hebrew or Aramaic. But most of the New Testament translations are directly from the Greek. The concordance I use deals with the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek.

Granted, no translations are perfect. But not only I’m blest for the privilege of reading and meditating on the Scriptures; G-d actually reveals His truth to me through His Word as I read it.

You’re right. But it is sometimes good to look up the original meaning of the Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek. I had to deal with those who massacre the English translations.

On the other hand, the Bible was not meant to be read as one reads a another text book. Many times, when I read the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit gives me understanding, so that I can bless others. It is my rule book for Christian living.

While I don’t split hairs between “divorce” and “putting away”, I respect your position. The King James Version does use “putting away” in Matthew 19:9: “And I say unto, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.” In Malachi 2:16 (KJV), we read, For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts,: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.” Blessings and shalom.

If this is the same Robin Gould you are referring to, I found her website at https://www.newcovenantpath.com/. There are three books listed at her “Shop” site. One of them is “Divorce and Remarriage in the Bible”, but couldn’t find the one you mentioned. Her “Statement of Faith” site, though, is right on the alley of what I believe, except the observance of the Sabbath. However, I have no problem if my church, or if Gentile Christians in general, do move back from observing the first day to the seventh day. This, I believe, will bring more unity between the Jews and Gentile believers, which would please Yeshua, our Messiah.

Reply to  IzlamIsTyranny

Dear friend, if you read what Yeshua said when the Pharisees quoted Deuteronomy 24, He answered that it was because of the hardness of their heart that Moses allowed divorce. But He also quoted Genesis 1:27 and 2:24, and said, “What G-d has joined together, let no man put asunder.” Adultery and rape are forms of unchastity, where Yeshua made an exception.

It is common sense that if a husband physically abuses his wife, she should flee to safety. My understanding was that there was a tradition in Yeshua’s days, that the husband often divorced his wife over trivial things, such as burning the food. (Correct me if I’m wrong.)

While I don’t have all the answers, there is a website which has biblical guidelines in divorce and remarriage, found at http://www1.cbn.com/questions/bible-says-about-divorce-and-remarriage. Hope that helps. Blessings to you 🙂

The reference in Ezekiel 40 through 47 seems to be the millennial temple. Can you explain your reference to Michiach?

Rebuilding the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount would be simple urban renewal. The new temple on the Temple Mount would be reparations for all the Islamic destruction of religious properties over the centuries.

This is the American Christian churches response to the subhuman violence of islam.

All of the major Christian churches in America have come out in favor of importing hundreds of thousands of Muslims into the US from the Middle East, even though such a move will speed up the extinction of both European-Americans and Christianity itself.

The Lutheran church in America has become the latest Christian denomination to make a formal appeal to Congress to allow even more Muslim “refugees from Syria” into the US, according to a report on the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service website.

The Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS), which is made up of a partnership between the three largest Lutheran Churches in America, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod LC-MS, and the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (LELCA), brought together over 30 Lutheran bishops, pastors, service partners, and leaders for the annual Lutheran Immigration Leadership Summit (LILS) On October 26–27.

Lutherans-advocate-for Syrian-refugees

According to the Lutheran news site report, the next day, LILS participants gathered for a Lutheran prayer breakfast on Capitol Hill where Lutheran representative David Cicilline (D-RI), “a staunch advocate for increasing aid to and resettlement of Syrian refugees, motivated our participants with his call for action.”

After that, the LILS participants attended a meeting with White House officials, including representatives from the National Security Council, Domestic Policy Council, and the Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

According to the Lutheran news site, the LILS participants then “delivered petitions from thousands of Lutherans asking for the resettlement of more Syrian refugees.”

The Lutherans are merely the latest in the long line of all major Christian denominations to line up to plead the case for the 97 percent Sunni Muslim “refugee resettlement program” already in place.

1. The Catholic Church, with 68.5 million members, is now the single largest denomination in America.

Catholics-refugees

That church is proud to boast that the United States Catholic Bishops’ Migration and Refugee Services department “resettles approximately 30 percent of the refugees that arrive in the US each year.”

It also encourages all Catholics to contact their “local Catholic Charities agency to find out if it has a resettlement program and, if so, how you can assist them in their effort to resettle refugees and help them build new lives of hope here in the United States.”

2. The next largest denomination in the US is the Southern Baptist Convention, which has 16.1 million members.

SB-10-ways-to-help

On its website, under an article titled “10 ways you can help with the Syrian refugee crisis” that church tells its members that “Global migration has brought many Syrians to the United States. Your church has an incredible opportunity to share God’s love with them as they make new lives here.”

It then urges its members to become involved in an online “community project” called ethnecity.com, which is centered around “integrating” as many “immigrants” and “refugees” as possible into the US.

3. The third largest denomination is the United Methodist Church, which has 7.8 million members.

UMC-SYRIANS

In an article on its website (“US faith leaders: Take in more Syrian refugees,” Sept. 28, 2015), it announced that “Now, it is time for the US to act,” and that its church leaders had gathered “Sept. 28 near the US Capitol to press Congress and the Obama Administration to resettle 100,000 Syrian refugees by the end of next year.”

4. The fourth largest denomination is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or “Mormons,” which boasts some 6 million members.

LDS-syrians

On that church’s website devoted to charities, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints told its readers that “LDS Charities takes a special interest in the estimated 70,000 refugees living in Utah by supporting local refugee resettlement agencies with a variety of assistance including: Deseret Industries store vouchers, furniture, bedding, food, English acquisition, job coaching, on-the-job training, and employer placement.”

Furthermore, the Mormon church said, “LDS Charities advocates support for local community efforts that assist relocated refugees, and it especially encourages the volunteerism of its members in these causes.”

5. The fifth largest denomination in America is the Church of God in Christ, a 5.5 million-strong black Pentecostal church.

chog-syrians

The Church of God in Christ told its supporters that its “Disaster Relief Committee had been working with organizations and individuals in multiple locations . . . As refugees continue to make their way into Europe and other safer zones, we are currently working with our Global Strategy regional coordinators in Europe and the Middle East to connect with partners working with these groups.”

6. The sixth largest denomination in America is another black church, the National Baptist Convention, USA, which has 5 million members. They, like many of the smaller black Christian churches, all support the Church World Service which has called for more Middle Eastern “refugees” in the US (see below).

7. The seventh largest denomination is the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, with 4.5 million members. As outlined above, this church is actively lobbying Congress to bring in even more Muslim “refugees”—and has even submitted its own testimony to the Senate in this regard.

ELCA-syrians

According to a “Statement for the Record of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America submitted to Senate Judiciary Committee Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Human Rights Hearing on ‘The Syrian Refugee Crisis’” (January 7, 2014, available on the Evangelical Lutheran Church’s website here), the US has a “moral obligation to individual refugees and to the international community to begin immediately accepting Syrian refugees into the US refugee resettlement program.”

8. The eighth largest denomination is the National Baptist Convention of America, a 3.5 million-strong black church. It supports the Church World Service which has called for more Middle Eastern “refugees” in the US (see below).

9. The ninth largest denomination in America is the Assemblies of God USA (AG), a 2.9 million-strong Pentecostal Christian denomination.

This church is actively involved in providing on-the-ground aid to the nonwhite invaders in Greece, as outlined on its blog, where AG pastors Pat and Brenda Mahar thanked church members for their money and support in their work amongst the Muslims this way: “Thank you for your contribution toward the needs of the Syrian, Eritrean, and Afghan refugees! We have used BGMC funds to help feed and clothe many refugees who are boarding ferries on the Island of Lesbos, Greece, coming to Athens. -Pat and Brenda Mahar, pastors, ICF of Athens”

The tenth largest denomination is the Presbyterian Church (USA), which has 2.7 million members.

PCUSA-syrians

According to that church’s own news service (“Christian denominations and ecumenical groups urge more support for Syrian refugees,” September 30, 2015), “The Presbyterian Church (USA) is one of a dozen Christian denominations and ecumenical groups that have sent a letter to the White House, urging the president to do more to help Syrian refugees.

“The US should open its doors to receive many more refugees. Even with more adequate funding for humanitarian assistance, some Syrians feel they will never be able to return home safely and wish to resettle in a third country. Many in our faith communities have a long and rich history of welcoming refugees. We encourage the US to accept more Syrian refugees and to expedite the processing of these applications.”

In addition to the Presbyterian Church (USA), that letter was signed by some smaller denominations, including the Church of the Brethren; the Global Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and United Church of Christ; the Mennonite Central Committee US; and the United Church of Christ, Justice and Witness Ministries.

The Church World Service (CWS) is an umbrella organization which speaks on behalf of 37 Christian denominations in the US, including many smaller denominations not listed above.

These CWS member churches include the African Methodist Episcopal Church; the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church; the Alliance of Baptists; the American Baptist Churches USA; the Armenian Church of America (including Diocese of California); the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ); the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church; the Church of the Brethren; the Community of Christ; the Coptic Orthodox Church in North America; the Ecumenical Catholic Communion; the Episcopal Church; the Friends United Meeting; the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America; the Hungarian Reformed Church in America; the International Council of Community Churches; the Korean Presbyterian Church in America; the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church; the Mar Thoma Church; the Moravian Church in America; the Orthodox Church in America; the Patriarchal Parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in the U.S.A.; the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends; the Polish National Catholic Church of America; the Progressive National Baptist Convention, Inc.; the Reformed Church in America; the Serbian Orthodox Church in the U.S.A. and Canada; the Swedenborgian Church; the Syrian Orthodox Church of Antioch; the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in America; and the United Church of Christ. Some of the larger denominations are also members of the Church World Service, such as the United Methodist Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Reuters-Christians

According to a Reuters report (“Religious groups push US to take in 100,000 Syrian refugees,” September 9, 2015), the Church World Service called on the government to take in 100,000 Syrians over the next year.

READ Germany: Invaders above Law

According to US Census Data, the United States admits roughly 100,000 Muslim immigrants legally each year, representing the fastest growing block of immigration into the United States. Pew Research has estimated that immigration will cause the population of US Muslims to more than double over the next two decades—from 2.6 million in 2010 to 6.2 million in 2030.

Every year the United Stated admits 70,000 “asylum seekers and refugees.” Arabic is the most common language spoken by “refugees“, and 91.4 percent of refugees from the Middle East are on food stamps.

The Christian churches which support the continued influx of Muslims from the Middle East are therefore active participants in the genocide of European-Americans, and, ironically, also of the eradication of Christianity in the United States.

All main-line Protestant churches and the Catholic Church hate Christianity and want to destroy it by bringing in all the Moslems to kill it in both North America and Europe.

The only decent Christians are Evangelicals and Latin Mass (1962 old order) Catholics.

The Catholic Church has had its growing pains for almost 1900 years and now, old, arthritic, and senile, it no longer understands the gospel of Jesus. It collects money, cannot find any real differences in Islam, promotes Social Justice and Revolution Theology while condemning Capitalism. Christ aimed his message at the Individual, not groups and races…The Church
did not promote The State and now it does. The Reformation was a given and now the Catholic Church, like a nation without borders, can become something else, perhaps it can Submit to Islam.

This cowardice goes a long way back. Paul of tsarsus was so frightened of Rome’s power that he blamed the Jews for Jesus’s death instead of the Roman’s who actually killed him. And speaking of cowardice, did you see the reaction to Pamela Geller after the Garland, Texas event? And anti-Semites say Jews are cowards :-I

As muslims learn to read, and are exposed to the west, whether they like it or not, they are faced with the qur’an and its contradictory garbage.

Prophet Mohammed’s confession:

“I have fabricated things against God and have imputed to Him words which He has not spoken.”

— Al-Tabari, The History of Al-Tabari, vol. vi, p. 111

‘Then Gabriel came to the apostle and said , “What have you done, Muhammad? You have read to these people something I did not bring you from God and you have said what He did not say to you.”‘

— Ibn Ishaq, Sirat Rasul Allah, p. 166

There will be no one of you who will not enter it (Hell).

This was an inevitable decree of your Lord.

Afterwards he may save some of the pious, God-fearing Muslims out of the burning fire.

— Sura 19:71-72

If their idea of heaven is to be married to 72 virgins I pity them. When you think about it Jannah must be run by women:

Virgin No. 1: Yuck.

Virgin No. 2: Ick.

Virgin No. 3: Ew.

Virgin No. 4: Ow.

Virgin No. 5: Do you like cats? I have fourteen!

Virgin No. 6: I’m Becky. I’ll be legal in two years.

Virgin No. 7: Here, I’ll just pull down your zipper. Oh, sorry!

Virgin No. 8: Can we cuddle first?

Virgin No. 9: It was a garlic-and-onion pizza. Why?

Virgin No. 10: . . . so I see Heath, and he goes, “Like, what are you
doing here?,” and I go, “I’m hangin’ out,” so he goes, “Like, what?” . .
.

Virgin No. 11: First you’re going to have to show me an up-to-date health certificate.

Virgin No. 12: Hurry! My parents are due home!

Virgin No. 13: Do you want the regular or the special?

Virgin No. 14: I’m eighty-four. So what?

Virgin No. 15: Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

Virgin No. 16: Even I know that’s tiny.

Virgin No. 17: “Do it”? Meaning what?

Virgin No. 18: I’m saving myself for Jesus.

Virgin No. 19: Somewhere on my body I have hidden a buffalo nickel.

Virgin No. 20: Don’t touch my hair!

Virgin No. 21: I hope you’re not going to sleep with me and then go sleep with seventy-one others.

Virgin No. 22: Do you mind if we listen to Mannheim Steamroller?

Virgin No. 23: Are you O.K. with the dog on the bed?

Virgin No. 24: Would you mind saying, “Could I see you in my office, Miss Witherspoon?”?

Virgin No. 25: Ride me! Ride me, Lucky Buck!

Virgin No. 26: You like your vanilla hot?

Virgin No. 27: Does Ookums like Snookums?

Virgin No. 28: It’s so romantic here, dead.

Virgin No. 29: Well, I’m a virgin, but my hand isn’t.

Virgin No. 30: You are in?

Virgin No. 31: Hi, cowboy. I just rode down from Brokeback Mountain.

Virgin No. 32: I’m a virgin because I’m so ugly.

Virgin No. 33: You like-ee?

Virgin No. 34: I’ll betcha you can’t get an erection. Go on, impress me. C’mon, show me. Show me, big shot.

Virgin No. 35: By the way, here in Heaven “virgin” has a slightly different meaning. It means “chatty.”

Virgin No. 36: Sure, I like you, but as a friend.

Virgin No. 37: No kissing. I save that for my boyfriend.

Virgin No. 38: I’m Zania, from the planet Xeron. My vagina is on my foot.

Virgin No. 39: It’s a lesion, and, no, I don’t know what kind.

Virgin No. 40: I’m Jewish. Why do you ask?

Virgin No. 41: Hi, I’m Becky. Oh, whoops—you again.

Virgin No. 42: I just love camping! Camping is so great! Can we go camping sometime?

Virgin No. 43: In the spirit of full disclosure, I’m a single mom.

Virgin No. 44: You like my breasts? They were my graduation gift.

Virgin No. 45: When you’re done, you should really check out how cool this ceiling is.

Virgin No. 46: I’m almost there. Just another couple of hours.

Virgin No. 47: Get your own beer, you nitwit.

Virgin No. 48: No, you’ve got it wrong. We’re in the Paradise Casino.

Virgin No. 49: I really enjoyed that. Thank you very much. Gee, it’s late.

Virgin No. 50: You make me feel like a real woman. And after this is over I’m going to find one.

Virgin No. 51: What do you mean, “move a little”?

Virgin No. 52: Not now, I’m on my BlackBerry.

Virgin No. 53: I love it when you put on your pants and leave.

Virgin No. 54: We’ve been together twenty-four hours now, and, you know, sometimes it’s O.K. to say something mildly humorous.

Virgin No. 55: That was terrible. I should have listened to the other virgins.

Virgin No. 56: I think I found it. Is that it? Oh. Is this it? Oh, this must be it. No?

Virgin No. 57: It must be hot in here, because I know it’s not me.

Virgin No. 58: Those are my testicles.

Virgin No. 59: Did you know that “virgin” is an anagram of Irving?

Virgin No. 60: First “Spamalot,” then sex.

Virgin No. 61: Great! I was hoping for circumcised.

Virgin No. 62: Was that it?

Virgin No. 63: Dang. George Clooney was being reckless on a motorcycle, but instead I got you.

Virgin No. 64: Tonight, I become a woman. But until then you can call me Bob.

Virgin No. 65: They’re called “adult diapers.” Why?

Virgin No. 66: We could do it here for free, or on a stage in Düsseldorf for money.

Virgin No. 67: I’m just Virgin No. 67 to you, right?

Virgin No. 68: Pee-yoo. Are you wearing Aramis?

Virgin No. 69: Condom, please.

Virgin No. 70: My name is Mother Teresa.

Virgin No. 71: I’m not very good at this, but let’s start with the Reverse Lotus Blossom.

Virgin No. 72: It was paradise, until you showed up.

Those of you that are old enough to remember what it was like will see the noticeable consistencies between the two!! Proving that when sATANIC ideologies emerge out into the mainstream public they all pretty much follow the same path to the forefront and we have been seeing a steady rise of The catholic/muslime coming to the center of the room holding hands and even caught in a loving embrace here and there!comment image

“Breaking Israel News reports how amid all the tensions on Temple Mount, Catholics are coming forward to blame Israel for fuelling the violence — and one bishop in particular, is actually saying the Palestinians have committed no acts of aggression”. Perhaps a review of one of the Ten Commandments is is order “Thou shalt not bear false witness”. What part of that does the Catholic hierarchy not understand?
