VICTORY: Sears to pull ‘Free Palestine’ clothing from site amid complaints

Yesterday at the Geller Report we called attention to this abominable pro-jihad annihilationist clothing line, and today it is gone.

Kudos to Geller Report readers who called, texted and tweeted.

“Sears to pull ‘Free Palestine’ clothing from site amid complaints,” JTA, June 6, 2017:

NEW YORK (JTA) — Sears says it will remove a line of clothing featuring the slogan “Free Palestine” from its website.

The clothing was offered for sale by a another company, Spreadshirt Collection, and included tank tops, t-shirts and hoodies featuring a variety of pro-Palestinian messages. The clothing was offered for sale through Sears Marketplace, which offers a platform for third-party sellers to offer their wares through websites managed by Sears.

The designs included a clenched fist in the colors of the Palestinian flag and statements opposing the Israeli occupation.

According to a statement from a Sears spokesman, the apparel was pulled from the site based on feedback the company received.

“These items were being sold by a third-party seller via the Sears Marketplace,” said the statement, which was sent to JTA Tuesday afternoon. “Given the feedback we’ve received, they are being removed.”

The statement added that Sears felt it had been “unfairly singled out on this issue,” as similar items are available for purchase from other companies, such as Amazon and Walmart.

Amazon sells some of the exact same items from Spreadshirt, as well as a wide range of other pro-Palestinian merchandise….

I don’t think Sears will be around much longer. their numbers don’t work anymore.

Can’t really blame Sears, since this was a product on their website by a third party company. It would have been a lot different if they sold these shirts at their retail locations.

Sears just sold its Craftsman division to Stanley/Black & Decker, which is one of the few remaining assets worth anything. Kenmore and Die Hard are the only other names that could survive.

Victory? Looks like a partial victory:
1) They pulled it based on “feedback received”. Means they’ll sell any ol’ genocidal trash if people don’t complain.

2) Here we go, blame everyone else! A 3rd party that they have no control over and nothing to do with, until it’s time to get their cut of the profits.

3) Unfairly singled out? I still hate Amazon, and Wal-mart for their lame excuses. But it appears Sears has hired Hillary Clinton to do their PR.

I am tripled outraged at this farce now.

I don’t remember the family store Sears being like that those other controversial stores at the mall.

Wonder which came first, taking those items off the shelves or announcing the closing of about 150 stores?

Sears may have pulled them, but they are still very much in stores on and off line, such as Spreadshirt, Cafe Press, Amazon, Wal Mart, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21 and Zara’s to name a few. They refuse to remove them “seeing nothing wrong with it” and citing free speech. Some of the offending merchandise can also be found placed on pages offering pro-Israel merchandise, which, whether there is or not, makes it look like there is an agenda. There are pages of them. Sorry, all you all, but incitement and hate speech are not covered. It is time to tell them how we feel and to boycott those stores that carry such offensive merchandise.

Good day for boycotting. It can work. It would be nice to think Sears did it for the right reason but at least its a start. These big corporations all bow to the god of green. I guess “Sears doesn’t have everything”. The real question is who is funding these to put on their sites. Its got to be some pro-muslim or leftist group. They need to be rooted out for all to see.
