Donald Trump Names New FBI Boss — Christopher Wray

10

President Donald Trump said he’s going to formally nominate a new FBI director, Christopher Wray — the same guy who was nominated by former president, George W. Bush, as an assistant attorney general in charge of the criminal division.

Wray led up the task force that investigated Enron while he served with the Department of Justice.

Trump’s naming of him to the post comes just a day before former FBI chief James Comey is due to take the Capitol Hill stand and testify to Congress about his so-called memo-typed memory of his conversations with the president.

It also came just hours before Andrew McCabe, the acting FBI director, along with other leading intel figures, were due to testify to the Senate Intelligence Committee.

On Twitter, Trump said: “I will be nominating Christopher A. Wray, a man of impeccable credentials, to be the new Director of the FBI. Details to follow.”

Wray’s background includes Yale School graduation, Department of Justice service and a specialty in white collar law and internal investigations — something that just might set the inner circle of FBI officials, at least the ones who are loyal to Comey, on edge.

Wray represented New Jersey’s  Chris Christie during Bridgegate, when it was alleged the governor used his high office to take political revenge on a Democratic mayor by shutting key sections of a heavily traveled roadway that was located in his district.

He represented Chris Christie? The fat bastage and muslum collaborating governor of Joisy? That doesn’t fill me w/confidence. I wonder what Wray says about islum? Religion of peace anyone?

The odd thing about draining the swamp is, there are so many swamp critters, and so few good guys, that that opens the way for the younger good guys to move up in a way they normally couldn’t. So Trump will have to hire a bunch of younger guys who are loyal to him, and hope they can make the grade and handle the increased responsibility. So we may see a more vigorous administration as the young guys take over.

On a tangent, reminds me of the Korean War. My uncle started as a private in the Marines (as that side of the family was too naive to realize he could have started as an officer), but there were so many casualties, and spaces for guys who were good in combat to fill, that he rapidly moved up the ranks, ending a colonel. I always thought that was pretty good, moving from private to colonel in a few short years.

He once told me he still had nightmares, about running out of ammunition, with the Chinese army coming at him in a human wave attack.

Have often thought we have too many “old guys/gals” in places of concern….namely Federal Offices. Also wondered how to encourage the younger generation to get involved….and I’m an old
person…but we DO need younger ideas and people to contend with what is going on in today’s world.

NOT GOOD..another ex-prosecutor attorney and former insider bureaucrat. The FBI is loaded with attorney/investigators so it needs an experienced no BS cop/police administrator to fix it.

  • Drew the Infidel

If he is any kin of Fay Wray, I’m all in.

At least give the guy a chance before passing judgment. I remember people saying Trump was a globalist but he is fulfilling more promises than any president i have seen.
