Federal appeals court upholds block on Trump’s travel ban

Unconscionable. Placing political correctness above national security. Apparently the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals wants to see an attack like the one in Manchester Monday night here.

“Federal appeals court upholds block on Trump’s travel ban: NBC News,” CNBC, May 25, 2017:

Story continues below advertisement

A federal appeals court has upheld the nationwide block of President Donald Trump’s executive order restricting travel from several predominantly Muslim countries, NBC News reported.

The ruling came from the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.

It upholds the suspension of a revised version of the executive order that the Trump administration crafted to better hold up to legal scrutiny than an earlier version.

Trump has insisted that the measure is necessary to prevent possible terrorist attacks. But courts in previous rulings blocking its enforcement have cited past statements from Trump and his advisors signaling that it may single out Muslims.

Apparently, not organizing effective boycotts like they should be. You guys should have taken the liberty forum and liberty arguments Ron Paul put forth more seriously. There are clear avenues to solutions for government corruption, bribery, and selling out sovereignty. The power of the purse can correct these issues. We Americans are the primary free market force. Now this website and it’s supporters should rally around American companies, and promote their products. We should identify companies giving to these treasonous politicians and boycott every last one of them.

I see a donate give me give me button on top of this website, but no longer see a donate button. I would have purchased that draw mohammod mug, more draw mohammod stickers, and that very interesting dvd for other people. I guess I should just pirate this instead? Really though, the message must get out and it’s a very poor decision for any activist site to only ask for donations, and not have a store. I’ve got to have something in return for my money, I don’t just give money away. Truly, the power of the purse deserves more recognition from the masses.

This is my take on the problem facing us.
As a person who can trace my lineage to immigrants who came to this country, and assimilated properly into this great
country of ours, and with what I am seeing happen today from the barbaric
conduct that is happening around this world, and more recently in Manchester, England, I was compelled to write the following commentary. The migration that is occurring today from the Middle East and Africa has one significant difference that I am afraid the free world leaders, media and its people do not clearly see, or refuse to calculate into the equation, and I believe that this missing piece is very significant. While I recognize that the liberals in the media, the Democratic party and the liberal citizens of this country would like to see the world of Islam as involving so-called peace loving constituents, they, nevertheless, miss the very salient point that is at the heart of the problem, and that is the one major difference with this migration (refugees) is that its belief
system has as its underpinning dramatic and dangerous beliefs, teachings and expectation of dominance or subjugating non-believers to its control. Where I was once a believer in extreme vetting to try to weed out those who would follow their belief system that promotes the heinous conduct that is used as justification for horrible acts of terrorism against non-believers, I have now come to the conclusion that vetting will never work for the following reasons. Though I do not profess to be an
expert on all cultures, the refugees who accept Islam as their belief system bring with them an already proven danger involving overthrowing and replacing everything with their laws under Islam, creating a religiously controlled
theocratic state, a belief system that justifies barbaric conduct and falsely promises a “fruitful” afterlife. I do not believe that any migrants who came here before came with such a binding, frightening and dangerous philosophy. When the Pilgrims arrived from Europe, when the Irish Catholics arrived from Ireland, when the Italian Catholics arrived from Italy, when the Jews arrived
from Russia, Poland and elsewhere, when the Hispanics arrived from Central and South America and Puerto Rico, when those of the Protestant faiths who came from Europe and elsewhere, and when all others arrived from places like China, India and elsewhere, I do not believe that any of these faiths and cultures brought with them the stigma of “overthrowing and replacing” the
American way with their culture or faith rather than to be able to, as those people essentially did, of assimilating and prospering into a non-violent America when they arrived. Though I recognize that there are individuals and groups of crazies to be found among all faiths and cultures and morbid belief systems, none of the many immigrant cultures and faiths that came here over the last two hundred years, except for the “ism’s,’ such as Communism, Nazism/Fascism, which now includes Islamism, had as its underpinning the concepts that promote abhorrent conduct and overthrow/replacement. Therefore, the differences are monumental and need to be seen for what they are. If we keep our borders open to these Islamic believers, our society, which allows all beliefs system to live side by side in peace, will cease to exist, and we will find the same things happening here that are
happening in Europe now, much to our forever chagrin. That is what I believe we are facing, and is the missing piece of the equation, and we need to recognize that clearly and keep those believers out of this country. I would certainly be willing to support them in safe zones where they can meld into an already approving Islamic society, but to allow them to come here is downright stupid and suicidal. It appears that our courts are simply unable to see all this, and they are strangling this country by over applying the so-called law. Let us hope that our Supreme Court can reverse these opinions and let POTUS and knowledgeable leaders do what needs to be done to protect us from the hoards that have a built in hate for everything that the free world has to offer.

I know; I’m really shocked more politicians haven’t given the idea of middle-east safe zones more thought. It makes a lot more sense than un-checked migration.

It keeps real refugees safe in their home countries, at least gives them a place to wait while the bad guys are rooted out, while keeping us safe from jihadists sneaking in amid a flood of refugees.
I really wish liberals would push for this solution more than mass-migration–which clearly isn’t working.

That’s an idea–we should write to our government reps and pressure them to focus on middle east safe zones! Spread the word on social media. I know I will.
That way people who want to help the refugees can, without putting everyone else in danger.

Exactly! Only the President has the constitutional power to decide who can and cannot enter our country. HIS executive orders must be turned into law by Congress. The judiciary has NOT part in this, except to render an ‘opinion’ – but only as to the constitutionality of the orders and the laws. These obama courts violate our constitution.

The people in government whom are clearly compromised or on the take of various islamists, are prepared to fabricate evidence against trump. It’s not quite as simple as being bold. This is your country, this is my country, this is our Christian heritage. Welcome your muslim neighbors with buried pigs, smoking bacon, and proudly throw up a christian cross in your front yard, window, stickers on cars, etc. These people feel they have a way in, when they drive around and do not see big red crosses. A go away sign will be more effective than any travel ban. We The People, we are the primary free market forces.

Fair, but supposedly we elected people who would preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. A constitutional republic has representatives who, guided by moral absolutes, work to ensure the preservation of the nations with sound moral guidelines.

Unfortunately, with a few notable exceptions, the electorate and elected in the United States abandoned moral standards many decades and up to three generations ago. We now have a democracy, increasingly under a mob-rule mentality, and one step away from speech censorship and dictatorship.

Here’s how the US empire will devolve into fascism and then collapse — according to science

http://www.rawstory.com/2016/12/heres-how-the-us-empire-will-devolve-into-fascism-and-then-collapse-according-to-science/

A sociologist who predicted the collapse of the Soviet Union and 9/11 attacks warns that American global power will collapse under Donald Trump.

Johan Galtung, a Norwegian professor at the University of Hawaii and Transcend Peace University, first predicted in 2000 that the “U.S. empire” would wither away within 25 years, but he moved up that forecast by five years with the election of President George W. Bush,

Now, nearly 17 years later, Galtung predicts that decline could come even quicker under a Trump administration.

“He blunts contradictions with Russia, possibly with China, and seems to do also with North Korea,” Galtung said. “But he sharpens contradictions inside the USA.”

Galtung’s biographer credits the sociologist and mathematician with correctly predicting the 1978 Iranian revolution; China’s Tiananmen Square uprising in 1989; the collapse of the Soviet empire in 1989; the economic crises of 1987, 2008 and 2011; and the 9/11 attacks.

For example, Galtung’s model identified five key structural contradictions in Soviet society that he predicted would lead to its fragmentation unless the U.S.S.R. completely transformed itself. His predictions are based on a model comparing the rise and fall of 10 historical empires, and decades ago Galtung developed a theory of decline based on “synchronizing and mutually reinforcing contradictions.”

Galtung predicted the tensions between the repressed Soviet working class and the wealthier “bourgeoisie” with nothing to buy would lead to economic stagnation, and those economic forces combined with the push for more freedom of expression, autonomy and freedom of movement would — eventually did — pull down the Soviet Union.

He predicted in his 2009 book, “The Fall of the American Empire — and then What?” that the U.S. was plagued by 15 internal contradictions that would end its global power by 2020, and Galtung warned that phase of the decline would usher in a period of reactionary fascism.

Galtung said all of those elements presented themselves during the Bush era, but he fears fascist tendencies could sharpen under Trump as those cultists lash out in disbelief at the loss of American power.American fascism would spring from its capacity for global violence, a vision of exceptionalism, a belief in an inevitable and final war between good and evil, the cult of a strong state leading that battle, and a cult of the “strong leader.”

The sociologist identified unsustainable economic, social, military and political contradictions that would eventually topple the U.S. as a world power.

Overproduction relative to demand, unemployment and the increasing costs of climate change would weaken the U.S. economy, according to his model.

Galtung also predicted that rising tensions between the U.S., NATO and its military allies, coupled with the increasing economic costs of war and the political conflicts between the U.S., United Nations and the European Union, would also diminish American power.

“The collapse has two faces,” Galtung said. “Other countries refuse to be ‘good allies: and the USA has to do the killing themselves, by bombing from high altitudes, drones steered by computer from an office, Special Forces killing all over the place. Both are happening today, except for Northern Europe, which supports these wars, for now. That will probably not continue beyond 2020, so I stand by that deadline.”

Rising tensions between America’s Judeo-Christian majority and Islam and other religious minorities created cultural contradictions, which are further sharpened by social contradictions between the so-called American dream and the reality that fewer Americans can achieve prosperity through hard work.

The decline of the U.S. as a global power would probably rip apart its domestic cohesion, Galtung said, which could potentially reshape American borders.

“As a trans-border structure the collapse I am thinking of is global, not domestic,” Galtung said. “But it may have domestic repercussion, like white supremacists or even minorities like Hawaiians, Inuits, indigenous Americans and black Americans doing the same, maybe arguing for the United States as community, confederation rather than a ‘union.’”

That breakup could potentially bring a revitalization of the American republic, Galtung said — if Trump makes a surprising shift in his persona and policies.

“If he manages to apologize deeply to all the groups he has insulted and turn foreign policy from U.S. interventions — soon 250 after Jefferson in Libya 1801 — and not use wars (killing more than 20 million in 37 countries after 1945): A major revitalization!” Galtung said. “Certainly making ‘America Great Again.’ We’ll see.”

More call for government based corrections? We are the primary free market force in this country, and every dollar you spend matters. Instead of vainly calling for government action, why don’t you research whom donated to these particular political figures. Then write letters to the figure and the companies whom sponsored him, and tell them you’re organizing a boycott because of their pro islamist positions. The power of the purse will always be more effective than the power of bureaucracy. There can be no bureaucracy without funding. Are you buying made in USA? Are you aware of which companies go against islamic ideology and which do not? You must be a more aware consumer and your voice will ring true and louder than ever. Your real vote is in your wallet, always has been. I just ordered the made in 1776 hat from infowars, it may look pretty good with the draw mohammod t shirt I bought from this site previously. To each his own, but seriously, get a t shirt press and promote your own message. We don’t need anybodies permission to press t shirts and bumper stickers. My current idea is this, feel free to borrow it; “Islam, JUST SAY NO.” For migration, my new rebuttal is this; I’d rather have an entire country of mexican migrants living across the street, than one single islamist. Truth be told, that is the truth. Mexicans can be rough and tough and devious, but they’re still reasonable people, even the hardened criminals. Compare that to islamists, the islamists are crazed mind controlled manchurian candidates, every last one of them. Imagine if everyone in the USA or even Mexico named their kids jesus, like every last kid in the country. Islam is an entire culture of zealots, we should not confuse the most pressing problem, with the mexican migration issues. I’m pro mex, even though I’m white christian in Colorado. I just want them to stop mooching, be held accountable, and pay taxes. That’s all most of us want, is for a level playing field, liberty and justice for all. Islamists want sharia and oppression for all, a very different take on society than either the Americans or the Mexicans.

I’m disappointed with the court for blocking the ban. I’m not a big fan of Trump, but I think his travel-ban so we can fix our vetting system and stay safe is reasonable. Everyone, please write to and call and E Mail your representatives and push for them to support the travel ban.

When terrorism and mass-rapes are spreading in Europe due to unvetted/uncontrolled migration, a pause of immigrants from 6 countries (each with terrorism as a major threat) is the least we can do to stay safe. It’s not anti-Muslim or bigoted……it’s common sense.

Libya and Syria in particular have large numbers of ISIS and/or al Qaeda. We have a right to increase security so they can’t travel in and easily commit attacks.

Our Constitution is very clear on the President’s authority to decide who can and cannot enter our country. The ruling is unconstitutional and the judges are corrupt. All court rulings are merely ‘opinions’ that can only be turned into law by Congress. So why is this happening? Because too many don’t know or even care enough about our own Constitution to hold politicians, bureaucrats, lawmakers and the judiciary to it! I’m outraged at all the talking heads, pundits and journalists who have NOT weighed in with this to affirm the President’s orders! All I hear is ‘woe is us’, the Court ‘said’ blah blah blah,

The behavior of the liberals is to be expected, but not tolerated. The behavior of the GOP establishment is an outrage. None – unless we throw them all out on their butts and elect an entirely new Congress. Let’s hope we do. The court is supposed to look at the text of the proposed law. But instead they are attributing motive based upon past statements that are NOT in the law. This is part of the slippery slope of the Civil Rights Act and all of the downstream Laws and decisions that followed, in particular the concept of determining discrimination based on outcome and disparate impact.

Personally I think that we have a right to association and a right to our own opinions and feelings.

Well let’s see, it’s not the Southern Baptists, the Amish, members of the L.D.S.Church, The Catholics, or the Joooos, or Hindi’s, or even the Shamans of the Native American Religions, and we dare not mention adherents of the Religion of Peace, so it must be the members of The First Church of The Spaghetti Monster ! SO I SAY WE MUST BAN ALL SPAGHETTI MONSTERS FROM ENTERING OUR COUNTRY IMMEDIATELY, SO WE WILL BE SAFE FROM THE SPAGHETTI MONSTER TERRORISTS !

Perhaps he could nullify some firearms rules instead? If we’re going to let the enemies in the front gates, all Americans are in immediate need to be able to carry concealed without a permit, regardless of some points of previous criminal history or not. If you have never been convicted of a violent crime, you should demand the right to carry concealed. If you can not do that, stay armed with something all the time. Where is the military on this? I’ve talked to many military Americans, and they’re in total agreement that muslim ideology is a problem and these are dangerous people in general.
