Immigration and Customs Enforcement under President Donald Trump has ratcheted arrests to the point that 21,000 illegals have been detained by authorities in the first few weeks of the new administration,

President Donald Trump has cracked down on illegals in the United States, as he promised during his campaign.

ICE provided the stats to the Washington Post showing how arrests of illegals rose 32.6 percent during the first few weeks of Trump’s take-over of the White House.

Breitbart tells more:

“Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 21,362 illegal aliens from January 20 through March 13, an increase of 5,258 from the same period in 2016.

“Nearly 75 percent of those arrested, a total of 17,921, are criminal illegal aliens. The number of non-criminal illegal aliens arrested has more than doubled.

“A spokeswoman for ICE said that the focus remains primarily on those who are a danger to the security of U.S., anyone who is in the U.S. illegally can face deportation.

“‘ … As [Homeland Security] Secretary [John F.] Kelly has made clear, ICE will no longer exempt classes or categories of removable aliens from potential enforcement,’ spokeswoman Jennifer Elzea said in a statement.

“The total number of illegal aliens who have been deported, not just arrested, is down by 1.2 percent compared to the same period last year. Eleza explained it takes time to move forward with deportation proceedings after arresting an illegal alien. Overall, the total number arrested increased by 15 percent compared to the same period last year.

“Since President Trump took office on January 20, the apprehension of illegal aliens attempting to enter the United States has decreased by 61 percent, as reported by Breitbart Texas.”

Very good, there used to be a quota, now you may deport and many as you would like. All of them who are unemployed or unemployable will be a good place to start.

As someone living in California, I’ve seen too many illegals come in and damage our neighborhoods and towns. Crime has risen, property values have fallen, and the influx of minimum wage workers takes jobs from high schoolers..

They have also taken jobs from our lower wage workers, increasing supply through the bottom and middle of the labor force, because they have pushed honest Americans to compete for the same middle income jobs, and contributed to lower wages for all. I make less money now than I did in 2004, for the exact same job. How am I ever going to retire?

I had to make huge cutbacks lately. I don’t eat out nearly as much as I did before 2008. Food is way too expensive. I don’t drive much either cause I can’t afford gas. My car insurance is cheap at $25/month (from Insurance Panda)… thank god, but I can’t afford to buy the same type of “toys” new TVs, video games, car upgrades, ect. like I did in the past.

Consumers have to make short term sacrifices, if our economy is going to be healthy in the long run. I hope we get the illegals cleaned up by then. Whatever needs to be done to get this clown to step-down, needs to be done and soon.

Not the place to sell insurance.

  • Deport every non-citizen NOW

Multiply that 21,000 by 1,000 and I’ll be able to say we’re making good progress.

Think it of 21,000 less rapist murderers and thieves. Not to mention welfare cheats.

Who really cares to keep count the number of lawful arrests of people who have broken American Law 1 entering the country illegally 2 Staying here without a visa 3 working without a visa 4 acquiring fake IDs 5 Using the the Fake IDs for fraudulent purposes. Once started the crimes keep multiplying
Now, if 21000 Americans went down to the Rio Grand and tried to cross over into Mexico illegally, acquire fake Mexiican IDs and work in Mexico without a visa does any one believe Mexico would allow this to happen? They’ve already stated that Americans doing this would be arrested and thrown into prison. Next given the the same scenario does any fool out there believe Canada would reach out with outstretched arms and scoop up illegal aliens seeking economic gain no assimilation and not learn one of the 2 languages of Canada? No does anyone think the majority of the Countries of the world would allow Americans to do to them as what Mexicans and other South American Counties have done to us? No. Americans at this moment have enough of her own problems.

Trump is simply enforcing the immigration laws already on the books, and it is about time after eight years of Obhammud’s neglect. The nexus between unrestricted border crossings and other serious crimes, including drug and human trafficking, are undeniable. Try living down here in close proximity to the Mexican border unarmed. I dare you to.

Eureka! I’ve found a use for all the FEMA camps built for Americans.
Add in all the empty cells at Gitmo and we should be covered for incarcerating these criminals being held for deportation.
Get them off our streets and get the job of ‘Serving and Protecting’ American citizens done.

I wish we could add most of Hollywood to the deport list who did everything they could to help Obama bring down America!

There at least 20 million illegals here in our country and Trump has arrested (deported?) only 21,000. How terribly unimpressive.

Good job, keep up the good work, Pres. Trump. (How I love to say that.)

Problem being, as Ann Corcoran at Refugee Resettlement Watch has pointed out, is that at this point in the US fiscal year President Trump has admitted almost 45,000, predominantly muslim refugees which is way ahead of either Presidents George W Bush or Barack Obama.
