The Kyrgyz Foreign Minister said on Tuesday a “suicide bomber” was definitely to blame for the terrorist attack that struck at St. Petersburg’s subway, killing 14 and injuring more than 50.
Islamic? Tied to ISIS?

Authorities aren’t yet saying.
Investigators held back on blaming Islam — even though the man named as the suspect hailed from a section of country known as a breeding ground for jihadists.
From CNN:
“Kyrgyz authorities had earlier identified Akbarjon Djalilov, a Russian national born in Kyrgyzstan, as a suspect in the blast that ripped through a train in Russia’s second city on Monday afternoon.
“The Russian health ministry raised the number of dead from 11 to 14, although it was unclear whether that included the attacker. Four of the dozens of people injured are in critical condition, Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova said, according to TASS.
“Russians laid flowers and tributes at memorials and a three-day period of mourning has begun.”
Reuters, meanwhile, is reporting Russia has been on high alert for terror attacks for some time, due to Moscow-ordered air strikes over Syria to take out rebels fighting for the ouster of Vladimir Putin-friend Bashar Assad.

“The Islamic State group has repeatedly threatened revenge attacks.
“The bombing of a nightclub in Istanbul on New Year’s Eve that killed 39 people involved a suspect from the same area of central Asia. He said he had been acting under the direction of Islamic State militants in Syria.
“If it is confirmed that the metro bomber was linked to radical Islamists, some sections of Russian society could see it as proof that Moscow’s decision to intervene in Syria has made civilians into targets.”

Oh no I thought this was the work of a disgruntled Russian! Wow shocking a Muslim extremist did this? Islam is a religion of peace and followers are kind loving people that are misunderstood! I think they have their facts wrong .

We are told islam is a “religion” of peace, so it must be Mennonites or those rascally Amish. You know how those pesky Christians are always planting bombs, chopping off heads and burning people alive. Yeah…right.

Yes for sure.! the Amish that live near me are truly dangerous radicals just the other day a buggy was going down the road at a crazy speed .At least 20 mph maybe even 25 !
So scary I thought for sure they would purposely ram the buggy into a car or innocent pedestrians!

Well why shouldn’t they? There are over 20 million Muslims in Russia with over 2 million Muslims in MOSCOW and the Muslim population in Russia is GROWING…with Putin’s help.
Why would Putin and the Russian authorities be so quick to blame Islam for this when they like helping the Muslim population grow and grow and build mosques all over Russia including MOSCOW?

This is the mosque Putin, Abbas (spit) and Erdogan (spit again) consecrated together. I’ve read Russian Jews are fleeing Russia — now I know why.

In fact the major reasons for Jews emigrated from the former Soviet Union were the wild antisemitism, lock of the liberty and the political persecutions. I am one of them- refusenik. Emigrated with my family after 8 yrs of struggle with a authorities for my right to get out of the “Evil Empire”. Muzrats were not on the picture at this time. Obviously they’ve been always existed in Russia, but I can’t recall any major problems at this time ( 30yrs ago). They used to sit under the rock and were as much oppressed as the rest of the Soviet people. Stalin sent thousands of them to Siberia in exile (Crimea’s Tatar population- BTW Crimea was originally owned by Tatars and later- by Russians till 1954)

The “SECTION OF Russian Society” that feel that Russia “has made CIVILIANS targets” should be sent to Syria as observers, AND THEN to the “FRONT LINES” to learn what their Leader is attempting to keep FROM RUSSIA! But, of course, if YOU listen to them, than you’re either too naive ob be in the conversation, OR you’re just stupid! Muslim Terrorists, (ACTUALLY they’re wholly obedient, Koran memorizing, & the MOST FAITHFUL of Muslims)….aren’t concerned about whether your Country is “meddling” in Muslim affairs!
