Sinking Schumer: Third Senate Democrat Announces Support For Gorsuch

“Though Gorsuch has endorsements from both sides of the political spectrum, Democrats are blocking him partially as a political tactic to stymie Trump.” Yes, Schumer’s campaign against Gorsuch is not based on any sound principles. The Democrats are just determined to sabotage and destroy President Trump. But Schumer is failing.

“Third Senate Democrat Announces Support For Gorsuch,” by Chuck Ross, Daily Caller, April 2, 2017:

Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly announced on Sunday that he will vote for Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court, making him the third Democrat to back the Trump nominee.

“After meeting with Judge Gorsuch, conducting a thorough review of his record, and closely following his hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, I believe that he is a qualified jurist who will base his decisions on his understanding of the law and is well-respected among his peers,” Donnelly said in a statement.

The moderate Democrat joins West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin and North Dakota Sen. Heidi Heitkamp as the only members of his party who have so far announced that they plan to vote for Gorsuch.

With the trio of Democrats, Republicans, who have 52 seats in the Senate, will need five more votes to block a planned filibuster of Gorsuch. Eight Democrats and one Independent, Maine Sen. Angus King, have yet to announce whether they will support or oppose Gorsuch, who currently serves as a judge on the 10th Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals.

Some Republicans have suggested that they may change Senate rules to forego a filibuster by forcing an up-and-down vote. That move, which is referred to as the “nuclear option,” would touch off intense acrimony in Washington.

Though Gorsuch has endorsements from both sides of the political spectrum, Democrats are blocking him partially as a political tactic to stymie Trump, but also as payback for the GOP’s refusal to hold a vote last year on the confirmation of Merrick Garland, President Obama’s nominee to replace the late conservative justice, Antonin Scalia….

This is good, but the “nuclear option” will still likely be necessary. The Dhimmicrats and their many freakish supporters throughout the country have put up an unusual amount of aggressive resistance to anything Trump sets his hand to. With the help of the rabid dogs in the media, I don’t see this ending anytime soon.

In other news, I came across this stunning report from Gatestone. It’s the best summation on the fall of Britain I’ve seen:

Londonistan: 423 New Mosques; 500 Closed Churches

https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/10124/london-mosques-churches

Brtain does seem to be on the brink of no return.

Mosques are forward observation military outposts, pure and simple.

If you watch closely, when schumer is speaking, sometimes you can see him eat a rat. It is just something he does.
I guess he doesn’t like the competition.

It’s natural for him. His father was the exterminator. Rats were included. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree

This behavior by the Demoncrats will bite them in the ass over the long term… It will put a bad taste in Gorsuch mouth and he will be the one with the last laugh when all of this is over..

Seriously?
Yeah, I’d sure hate to see them lose the rosy bi-fartisan glow they have now.

The commiecrats only have one person to blame for the busting out of the “nuclear option”, Harry Reid. He pulled it during the Obhammud years and the GOP warned him that when the tables are turned, they could take the fun out of it for him. Also, they can blame one of their own for the “Biden rule”, so named because when Biden was a Senator he made the bold statement that President Bush (41) should not name a Supreme Court Justice in the midst of a Presidential election campaign. That is the reason Merrick Garland was passed over. What comes around goes around.
