Pope Francis Calls on Egypt’s Catholics to Forgive Muslims who Terrorize, Persecute, Slaughter Them

Christians living in Muslim countries under Islamic law (sharia) are terrorized, oppressed and subjugated. In Egypt, the Christian community is under siege by devout Muslims. Slaughtering Christians in their churches, forced conversions, daily humiliations and harassment, and the pope says ….. forgive.

I am no Christian theologian, but this is not what Jesus had in mind when he said turn the other cheek. This pope is leading his flock to slaughter. Christianity has never forbidden self-defense or, in the case of the Christians of Egypt, prudent steps for self-protection in the face of a vastly more powerful foe. The Pope is counseling Egyptian Christians to adopt, under the guise of “forgiveness,” a passive and defenseless stance in the face of constant persecution. This will only hasten the total eradication of the Christian community in Egypt.

Pope Francis Calls on Egypt’s Catholics to Embrace Forgiveness

Christians voice optimism over pontiff’s visit after series of attacks by Islamist extremists

By Francis X. Rocca and Dahlia Kholaif, Wall Street Journal, April 29, 2017:

CAIRO— Pope Francis celebrated Mass for members of Egypt’s small Catholic community on Saturday morning, urging them to hope and forgive those who terrorize and persecute them.

“True faith…makes us see the other not as an enemy to be overcome, but a brother or sister to be loved,” the pope said in his homily. “Do not be afraid to love everyone, friends and enemies alike.”

The pope spoke less than three weeks after Islamic State terrorists killed more than 40 Orthodox Coptic Christians in Palm Sunday bombings of two Egyptian churches.

[the_ad id=”90673″]

The vast majority of Egypt’s estimated 9.5 million Christians, approximately 10% of the country’s population, are Orthodox Copts. Catholics are a minority within a minority, numbering only 272,000 at the end of 2015, according to the Vatican.

While Christians enjoy equality under the law with Egypt’s Muslim majority, they suffer from widespread social discrimination and have been the targets of large-scale attacks and individual killings by Islamist extremists.

That experience has brought the separate Christian churches closer in an “ecumenism of blood,” Pope Francis said Friday evening in a meeting with the Orthodox Coptic leader, Pope Tawadros II.

The two popes prayed together at the Church of St. Peter, the site of a bombing by Islamic State in December 2016 that killed 29 people. Pope Francis touched a wall stained with blood of those killed in the attack and looked at portraits of the victims.

At Saturday’s Mass, thousands of Christians—from Egypt and elsewhere—cheered and released hundreds of yellow-and-white balloons into the air as Pope Francis entered Cairo’s Air Defense stadium in an open golf cart.

The pontiff denounced religious extremism, saying that the “only fanaticism believers can have is that of charity. Any other fanaticism does not come from God and is not pleasing to him.”

Those words echoed his speech to a largely Muslim audience the day before, in which he condemned killing in God’s name.

During the Mass, a layman read a prayer in French for Christian “martyrs of Egypt” and for those forced to emigrate from the country. Christians have been abandoning Egypt’s north Sinai, a stronghold for Islamic State, which in February issued a call to attack the region’s Christians.

In a speech to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi on Friday evening, the pope deplored the “murders and the threats that have led to an exodus of Christians from northern Sinai.”

In Egypt, Pope Condemns Religiously Inspired Violence
Pope Francis opened a two-day visit to Egypt on Friday at Cairo’s Al-Alzhar University, with one of his most forceful and extended denunciations yet of Islamist violence. Photo: Mohamed Abd El Ghany/Reuters

Egypt’s Christians largely supported the rise of Mr. Sisi, who overthrew the elected President Mohammed Morsi in a military coup in 2013, but the recent attacks have shaken confidence that he can guarantee their safety.

The Mass was the only public event during the pope’s 27-hour visit, his seventh to a Muslim-majority country and the second papal visit to Egypt, following that of Pope John Paul II in 2000.

The location of the Mass evoked the region’s history of conflict. Built to commemorate Egypt’s 1967-70 war against Israel, the stadium became notorious after a 2015 clash between police and soccer fans that left 22 people dead.

The stadium has a capacity of 30,000, according to the Vatican, but appeared to be far from full on Saturday, apparently an effect of the extraordinary security measures surrounding the papal visit. Mass-goers were required to arrive hours in advance and to surrender their mobile phones before the event.

Pope Francis is the head of a world-wide religious system – not a vicar of Christ. No one alive in this world can substitute for the Savior

Scripture warned about him and others, including Protestants with a similar, ecumenical bend: Jude 14-16 provides this: And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him (Jesus). These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.

Catholic friends and others need to understand this pope has denied the authority of Scripture and the divinity of God. Still, the MSM adores and even venerates his every utterance. Francis is dangerous internationalist, not an inspiration to Catholics and others.

“6. Those who preserve in their fervor and adhere to virtue with love and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and, persecutions as rebels and schismatics; for their persecutors, urged on by the evil spirits, will say they are rendering a great service to God by destroying such pestilent men from the face of the earth. but the Lord will be the refuge of the afflicted, and will save all who trust in Him. And in order to be like their Head, [Christ] these, the elect, will act with confidence, and by their death will purchase for themselves eternal life; choosing to obey God rather than man, they will fear nothing, and they will prefer to perish rather than consent to falsehood and perfidy. “

What Oliver Cromwell said to a corrupt and filthy parliament, applies to many politicians, especially in the european union and American democrats, as well as most lame stream religions today.

It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place,

which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice.

Ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government.

Ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.

Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess?

Ye have no more religion than my horse. Gold is your God. Which of you have not bartered your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Commonwealth?

Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defiled this sacred place, and turned the Lord’s temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices?

Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation. You were deputed here by the people to get grievances redressed, are yourselves become the greatest grievance.

Your country therefore calls upon me to cleanse this Augean stable, by putting a final period to your iniquitous proceedings in this House; and which by God’s help, and the strength he has given me, I am now come to do.

I command ye therefore, upon the peril of your lives, to depart immediately out of this place.

Go, get you out! Make haste! Ye venal slaves be gone! So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors.

In the name of God, go!

The reason few people showed up, is that this pope is not supporting Christianity, he is a tool of islam and a very dull one at that. It is good to forgive, that does not mean one must allow oneself and others to be murdered for the vanity of misinterpreting Christian scripture. Prophecies are a dime a dozen, shills have been making money off the gullible ever since religion got invented. Like says in the Bible, “Matthew 24:36 New King James Version (NKJV)
No One Knows the Day or Hour
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven,[a] but My Father only”. Apparently that is on a need to know basis, so as we have not been informed, neither has any one else, better to be concerned with reasonably good behaviour, starting soon, so as it is not a surprise when it is announced.

It does the one forgiving much good to forgive, but if the one being forgiven does not repent, continuing to offend, there is a price for them to pay. Those who do not accept forgiveness and repent, carry baggage for eternity. Those who forgive have no burden.

The Coptic Pope is something of a dhimmi as well. He has to declare loud and clear his hatred for Israel his ‘love’ for his Muslim ‘brothers’ and is generally kind of sickening. But I have no right to speak, being a minority Christian in even a ‘moderate’ Islamic country is a hell I haven’t yet had to experience.

Most people do not know that islam is not a religion! islam Is a political system wrapped around a pedophile’s plagiarized materials from several sources and from imagination during drunken stupor. Goals of the islamofascist movement, which encompasses all mullahs, al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, and many others, is to promote a political ideology that seeks to subjugate all the world’s peoples, by physical force, under the supreme governing authority of islamofascist law, in every area of life and thought. The islamofascist goal is to enforce submission in body and mind—on pain of death. When considering taqiyya and kitman, one realizes that there is only one outcome between islam and infidels and that is a fight to death.

The doctrine of forgiveness is for the individual to not have hatred in their heart against oppression or seek personal revenge or retribution. That is not the same as the corporate body or government duty to protect the people. Both old Testament and New Testament require Christians to protect those who cannot help themselves. In simple terms, I will not personally seek revenge but I will as a citizen have my military or police use the sword or wrath of God to punish evil acts. So if someone murders my family member I do not personal seek to murder their family member but I do use the Police or Military to be called and arrest, try in court, and if necessary execute those who have been convicted of murder. To never corporately or as a government body to protect against evil is not what the bible commands.

The Bible is very much about personal responsibility. There is no collective guilt or innocence. We are all responsible for what we do. That included non Christians. Responsibility, accountability and tolerance do not exist even as concepts in islam. It has to be dealt with as demonic, at every level.

Well stated! Ultimately all Christians must walk in forgiveness so that the actions of others do not change their reborn heart to one of hate from knowing and experiencing God’s love.
This is not a free pass for evil though. We are to resist evil and do good. That resistance of evil is first spiritually by prayers and fighting the true enemies of mankind, the spiritual forces driving those and us who do evils. This is the most powerful way to get God involved in His stopping our enemies and acting on our behalf. On the physical/natural plan we are not to let anyone steal our joy when they do wrong/evil/intend destruction towards us. For example, I will not let anyone come in and try to kill or hurt or steal from me, my family, my friends, my nation. I WILL BE a force to contend with because if I do not do my DUTY to physically fight the evil then I am worse than an infidel for not respecting God’s work and my loved ones – especially. Now in some situations fro the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus, according to God’s will and my obedience to Him – I MAY allow myself to be killed or hurt just as Stephen allowed himself to be a martyr for Jesus.

It is difficult to say what would be done defense or resignation in some situations. That is why we walk with God and seek to honor Him above even ourselves. Laying down a life for a friend usually is an action requirement like stepping in the line of a bullets fire or physically opposing evil actions towards another. Self defense should be natural and is not ungodly but not giving of oneself to propagate God’s love to others.

I have a simple rule, I will oppose an enemy intent on destruction to me or others naturally. Tolerance of evil is out of the question.

With some in slam you have BULLIES and TERRORISTS forcing their way and will on others- pure evil, acting like their father Satan. To tolerate such evil is absurd. Though the real enemy is Lucifer/Satan and fallen spiritual beings and not mankind, when a person is totally controlled by the evil ones then they must be opposed and stopped naturally and supernaturally.

Suppose one does evil to you – do you not know that forgiveness is MOSTLY for YOU not those who did wrong. When you forgive others YOU obey Jesus and lay the hurt, pain, horrors at Jesus feet, so to speak. You REFUSE to let others determine your future and control YOUR LIFE and interfere with YOUR relationship with God and others. IN THE PROCESS of forgiving others and enemies YOU BECOME FREE and on the path of healing – NOT OVERCOME by evil but overcoming evil by good and God’s healing power. Corrie Ten Boom went through the abuses of a concentration camp in Germany because she provided a “Hiding Place” (her books name) for good Jews to escape torture and torment and death — and was caught. God taught her to forgive. Years later she met one of the ex military leaders over her camp as a free person. She said that hate rose in her heart remembering how this person abused her. But, God reminded her of His love and her NEED to forgive the man. She not only forgave him but led him to know Jesus personally as Savior. Love does these things.

When in battle, one does not presume to forgive the person shooting at you or others but to FIGHT with all your might to survive or help others survive. When HATE tries to take over your heart then you have to forgive and lay it down and seek God to be freed of the pain and anguish.

The idea is not to EMPOWER THE ENEMY – come on shoot me I will forgive you is like sick em to a dog – an enemy needs opposing. The balance in Christianity is THIS –a willingness to oppose evil in any form loving the sinner who does wrong while hating the sin and evil and viciously opposing such evil. In one phrase one could tell an enemy “I love you because God loves you. Don’t try to do harm to me and my loved ones, I won’t let you and will do what is necessary to oppose you. I would like for you to know God’s love as I do but I must do what is right in opposing evil and wrong. God is on my side, I do not want to hurt you.” This is love and patience and courage bound in one statement. If the enemy has the upper hand then submit the situation, yourself, your loved ones to God. Man may succeed sometimes in destroying the flesh but WE MUST NOT let them destroy our spirit.

He writes in good style, but is over-the-top in praise for the leftist idols, and touches a large number of current leftist talking points. Note that it is usually Jewish/Israeli writers who are good at sarcasm and irony, the others are usually very crude at it.

Also he usually won’t argue when his post is criticized.

Christianity has never forbidden self-defense I am no Christian theologian, but this is not what Jesus had in mind when he said turn the other cheek. This pope is leading his flock to slaughter. Not so. If you read Jesus’ entire quote, it’s clear that he was in fact AGAINST self-defense:

But I tell you not to resist an evil person. If someone slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also; if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well; and if someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two.…

This is one of the main flaws of Christianity, and it’s also why the Christian world was so slow to react to Islamic imperialism (the Crusades came too little too late).

Peter, when he drew his sword and cut off the High Priest servants ear was not acting in self defense. He had gone on the offensive and attacked. It was then that Jesus told him to put away the sword and Jesus then healed the servants ear. It would seem that there is a distinction between self defense and starting conflict. If self defense wasn’t allowed, why would Jesus suggest they sell their garments to purchase weapons? This topic has always been hotly debated. self defense vs acquiescence in conflict.

islam is perfectly willing to kill every non believer as per instructions in the qur’an. Now, explain how the destruction of Christianity by islam, with islam replacing Christianity and every other religion, is part of the plan of creation? There is no commandment thats says “Thou shalt be stupid”. The Old Testament is full of violence, which is what the New Testament is based on. “Thou shalt not kill” does not refer to Christians only, it allows for the prevention of being killed, by whatever means necessary to do so. Suicide by martyrdom is still suicide, which is forbidden.

The Vatican hosted priest from all religions ,yes, even satinist & they all preformed their religious rituals in the Vatican. The Catholic Church is the center of the One World Religion PERIOD !! The pope is a Jesuit. If you don’t know who the Jesuits are there is plenty of information on them on You Tube.
The Catholic Church has been involved in pedophilia for decades. They allowed children to be taken from Boys Town and be flown to D.C. and be prostituted out to D.C. politicians and yes, it does go as high as the POTUS. Regan,G. Bush the Kilderbeast.
Don’t believe me?! Go to You Tube & search:
Why Johnny Can’t Come Home
Retired FBI Agent Ted Gunderson
in doing this you will find much more proof of what I have stated.
While you are there search Hollywood pedophilia. Those so called stars many of you worship are active in satanic worship & very active in pedophilia !!.
This is the main reason Hollywood & the ,never Trumper,” RINO’s want POTUS Trump out as well as the Dem. Party. Sessions has vowed to take down the pedophiles & he is doing it !! Over 1,2000 arrested so far with over 700 being arrested in CA. with children found in cages !! High ranking military persons have been arrested as well as politicians, members of police forces. No group is exempt from evil as we are all human. They have to be taken down who ever and where ever the are. No exceptions accepted !!
No matter what you think of Trump & Sessions,if you love innocent children and don’t want any more innocent children’s childhood innocence ripped away from them that can never be restored, you need to support Trump & Sessions for that reason alone !! It takes a mere 3 seconds for a van or car to pull up to a child, grab child & drive away. The next child could be your child or the child of a friend or neighbor. This isn’t just America but world wide. Arrest are happening in other nations as well !
Pray for our children’s safety and well being and the demise of every living pedophile on the face of earth. Yes,God does allow for me to pray for His vengeance to occur.

It was a beautiful symbolic gesture when he did that and is something that Jesus would have done. How many Muslims were converted through the love that action brought about, we will never know. I do know my muslim mate was profoundly affected by this and he cried. These poor Muslims have been fed a terrible diet of lies since birth. They have not read the New Testament, but then I know few people who have bothered to read the Bible. If Jesus was not about love and forgiveness, then I am off to hell for sure. Love and forgiveness is what seperates us from other faiths. In answer to your question, yes. The guy who shot Pope John Paul was forgiven by the Pope who visited him in prison. He converted. This is our calling. Defend yourself by all means. Educate by all means. Pray for them, for they know not what they do.

Duchess of Pork

That is one point of view Michael. The contrary view is that other more militant Muslims view it as a sign of subservience. We can already see in Europe signs of increasing confidence and belligerence as they openly taunt locals of their growing influence and future demographic majority while speculating on the demise of the kaffir when they attain the numbers to make a real political impact. You and I are lucky that we live in countries that are remote from, but not immune to, the disaffection and wariness that is now part of daily life for Europeans. We can defend ourselves, the Coptic Christians cannot and your Pope does nothing to help them other than mouth platitudes and refuse into his Vatican home those he has pledged to shepherd. It is gratifying to hear your friend wept when Francis kissed Muslim feet; does he always weep at the Copts’ deaths at the hands of his fellow Muslims?

‘turn the other cheek’ … really?

Common misinterpretations of this tidbit of the Sermon on the Mount are incredible both in quantity and quality – but let’s just put one interpretation to rest: The idea that I must let you turn another person’s cheek.

Under no circumstances did Jesus mean that I had the right to let you decide who should be victims.

Yet – an incredible number of disingenuous Lietards and foolish Christians somehow think that not only should I, as a Christian, allow myself to be a victim – but that I should agree to let them decide who should be victims without trying to stop them.

Utter Bull.

Christians have an affirmative duty to thwart evil, and protect the innocent if it is possible and within their power to do so. To NOT do so is a sin of omission and renders one potentially liable for the SAME PUNISHMENT as the perpetrator.

THAT PUNISHMENT is the reason evil wants us to swallow this false interpretation.

WWJD? We don’t even have to wonder. Read Matthew 12:9-14

“Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath?” so that they might accuse him. 11 He said to them, “What man of you, if he has one sheep and it falls into a pit on the sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out? 12 Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the sabbath.” Matt 12:10b-12.

Jesus healed a man on the Sabbath in deliberate defiance of the Pharisees: So too we shall leap into the pit to save a man – in defiance of FALSE teachers.

Dan Knight
Dan Knight

Can you cite when Francis acknowledged the right to the defense of others?… Pardon the snark, it’s not intended. But, I really don’t recall hearing Pope Francis sticking his neck out for Christian victims of Muslim violence. Just some platitudes that might fit any occasion. That said …

Yes, I know Pope Francis is an issue, and forgiveness was his topic, but my compost is a response to the composts on the thread that confuse Sermon’s ‘turn the other cheek’ and ‘resist no evil’ concepts with the diabolical concept of ‘you’re not a Christian unless you stand by and let ’em get away with it’ or the even more devilish ‘you’re not a Christian unless you jump in and help your enemies crucify his victims’ …

Although no one really ‘means it’ – many composts convey that message: And not just the pacifist ones. Some arguing for self-defense or the defense of others do so in a manner that leaves out the situations where ‘turn the other cheek’ could apply or should apply.

Lastly – don’t wear the shoe if it doesn’t fit. I’m not attacking the Pope (directly), nor all pacifists. I’m just trying to make a complex point on a combox for those interested souls who might be reading this combox. Likely only the choir will understand it, but hey – lots of folks lurk or troll Pamela’s site – so the message may reach someone.

God bless – and have a nice day.

No, Pamela you are not a Catholic theologian nor are you a Christian, so perhaps your focus should be on the idea of forgiveness. In His great gift to the world, Jesus left us with the Lord’s Prayer. He tells us to ask God to ‘forgive our sins as we forgive those who sin against us “Forgiveness is the key to Christianity and Francis has sought forgiveness rather than hatred. He has condemned religious violence. He has placed his hands on the blood stained walls. He had the courage to go there. What more would you have him do whilst in Egypt? Pope Francis can be criticised for many things, including a seemingly lax view of homosexuality, but not on this one, not by a long shot

You seem to classify forgiveness against one who sins against you as the same as forgiving and/or not resisting those beheading you and yours, of sodomizing the little ones, of throwing men off buildings, crucifying men, tossing acid into ladies and girls faces after having had their fun with them, having men thrown overboard in cages to drown, setting men afire? Forgiveness, as the Lord Jesus Christ was instructing is on a personal basis, i.e., a family member, a neighbor, a coworker, and even a friend. To forgive and forget is right. This is altogether different than the barbarous demon possessed monsters willfully set to utterly destroy you and yours as the see fit. For such, in addition to prayer, is one’s need for the literal sword such as Christ also taught His disciples the need of.. Remember?

And I thank and praise Him daily for His goodness, mercy and great grace, grace that is greater than all my sins even as I attempt to share the good news saving gospel wherever possible.

I see no admonition within God’s Word for those who are unable to help themselves to be supported and upheld by others when the barbarous human devils attack the helpless. I see no admonition of the Lord against a nation building and using a strong military. And I recall the Lord Jesus Christ declaring that no one can break in and spoil a strong man’s goods unless the strong man be bound. God bless and thanks for the exchange of views.

” The Pope is counseling Egyptian Christians to adopt, under the guise of
“forgiveness,” a passive and defenseless stance in the face of constant
persecution. This will only hasten the total eradication of the
Christian community in Egypt.” Very well put analysis of this Pope’s heart intention. Why a real Christian would come out to welcome him is a mystery to me. It’s true that Christians must forgive others. Otherwise, they will not be forgiven their sins. The purpose of forgiveness is to rid the persecuted person of gnawing bitterness, and give that person back to God. He can handle it. But forgiveness does not mean that you are to be a willing and passive doormat for bullies. Pope Francis is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, a Judas goat. I hate to use the analogy as goat’s are usually delightful and dear creatures.

“I am no Christian theologian, but this is not what Jesus had in mind when he said turn the other cheek.”

So first you admit you don’t have sound knowledge of Christian theology and then you hazard an opinion about what Jesus might or might not have had in mind when he said turn the other cheek. I might suggest that you have no insight into the mind of Jesus to offer.

Though I am not a Christian, I come from a Christian upbringing, I have read the bible, and I am capable of a little logical deduction. In fact, Jesus may well have taken the same stand that the Pope suggests in respect to the Christians that are being persecuted in Egypt. Non-violence can be very powerful. Just ask Mahatma Gandhi who managed to overthrow British rule in India via non-violent means. There is a verse in the bible that says “Love thine enemy for tt will heap coals of burning fire upon his head”. That can be a very powerful response, as the attacker is revealed by his own actions. Turning the other cheek is the essence of Christianity. Look at the difference between a Christian martyr and an Islamic martyr. While an Islamic martyr dies in the act or terror, destruction, and killing, a Christian martyr dies for love. You couldn’t find a more stark contrast.

When Christ was being arrested by the soldiers accompanied by some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees, Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. Jesus commanded Peter, “Put away your sword,” Jesus told him. “Those who live by the sword will die by the sword.”

Now that is as far as I will go on the theology side, because as I have already admitted I am not a Christian. I am also not here to defend the Pope. The Pope is wrong in the sense that he lost his moral authority long ago when he began apologizing for Islam and spreading taqiyya. He does not have the moral authority to tell the Egyptian Christians how to respond to Islamic persecution.

Once again, the Pope is a heretic! What he is NOT is a Christian! By saying that the Quran and Bible are the same, he proves that he doesn’t believe that “Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father except through Jesus.” (John 14:6) There is no moral equivalence between Christianity and Islam. Jesus is alive and well, and will come again! Mohammed is dead and will stay dead like all of his followers.

It seems to me that the Pope can right and wrong at the same time. Evil must be condemned and and the Pope should vehemently preach this. He has been soft in this regard. Evil must be resisted and never embraced. Therefore, we ourselves must publicly denounce it in order for it not to grow under a tacit approval. Forgiveness is a personal thing which Christianity exhorts us to embrace: “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.” We are to forgive the perpetrators but denounce the evil. The Pope, in his idealism, often loses track of reality. His Socialism beliefs makes him think in a “Collective Diversity” sense about issues that arise in the world. The fact that Christianity, through Christ, tells us there is a Hell means that not every body is forgiven. Perpetrators of Evil must cease and repent of ever repeating any and all Evil in order to obtain that forgiveness. Sometimes,I think the Pope is overly simplistic in his homilies and this can be misleading. I love Catholicism but like any “organization” it is those who dispense it that leaves many things to be desired.

FRANKY NEEDS A BOOT UPSIDE THE HEAD . HE CERTAINLY ISN’T THE HEAD OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH . MAYBE THE COWARDLY COMMUNIST SIDE LIKE THE JESUITS .
EVEN JESUS HIMSELF SAID THERE WERE TIMES WHEN YOU MUST SELL YOUR CLOAK AND BUY A SWORD TO DEFEND YOUR FAMILY AND SELF FROM EVIL .

Our Lord and savior Jesus Christ said “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do” about those who executed Him, having said that that doesn’t mean we Christians are supposed to lay down like sheep and let our enemies just slaughter us either…
