“I just hope the Mayor will finally come to his senses and stop ignoring and harboring violent criminals before it’s too late.”

De Blasio is unlikely to come to his senses and stop ignoring and harboring violent criminals, because if he does, he will alienate his base.

“NYC Police Union Chief Slams De Blasio And NYPD Leadership: AG Sessions Is Right,” by Kerry Picket, Daily Caller, April 22, 2017:

Ed Mullins, president of the NYPD’s Sergeants Benevolent Association, slammed New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and NYPD Commissioner James O’Neil for lashing out at Attorney General Jeff Sessions for a Friday Justice Department statement relating to the city’s non-compliance with federal immigration law and crime.

Mullins said in a statement issued Friday that “Sessions is absolutely correct to hold New York and other jurisdictions accountable for their so-called ‘sanctuary policies.’”

“For a long time, Mayor De Blasio and the NYPD’s leadership have failed to heed the warning that refusing to cooperate with federal immigration officials when it comes to criminals and suspected terrorists would have consequences beyond making our City less safe. They have placed officers in an impossible Catch-22: between obeying the directives and orders of their superiors and elected officials on one hand, and the obligation they feel to follow the direction of the law and to cooperate with federal immigration officials on the other,” Mullins said.

Mullins went on to say, “Now the City’s intransigence has placed in jeopardy millions in U.S. Department of Justice grant funds that we count on to help protect our communities. Despite what some politicians may think, law enforcement does not get to choose the laws we uphold, and it is our sworn duty to enforce all laws equally and without bias or preference. Attorney General Sessions is absolutely correct to hold New York and other jurisdictions accountable for their so-called ‘sanctuary policies.’ I just hope the Mayor will finally come to his senses and stop ignoring and harboring violent criminals before it’s too late.”

Shows that police nation wide are slowly starting to speak up against Liberal policies that keep the police and the public in danger.

This issue of illegals coming into the US has been know to Congress since the Dwight D Eisenhower administration (1953-1961) and here we are, 2017 and still the US Congress hasn’t fixed the problem so I say good for President Trump for speaking the way he does about these people.

As someone living in California, I’ve seen too many illegals come in and damage our neighborhoods and towns. Crime has risen, property values have fallen, and the influx of minimum wage workers takes jobs from high schoolers..

We can no longer afford to “split the pot” with everyone who wants a piece. America is struggling enough as it is. Most of us are making below living wage and just had our health insurance forcefully taken away. I make 60k per year and my healthcare is up to $400 per month; compare this to my $25/month car insurance (from Insurance Panda) or my $13/month renters insurance. Both private enterprise (take note, Obama).

Today’s politicians are afraid to talk like President Trump or do anything to help this nation.

President Trump is totally correct on this topic. Illegals are ruining this country and the Democrats are allowing this to happen. It’s time for President Trump to BUILD THAT WALL!

He’s right, because when mayor Bill De Blasio and NYPD Leadership aid and abet criminality, then they’re just as guilty as any criminal period

The Police directives:
-Uphold the law. (They don’t in sanctuary cities.)
-Protect the innocent (they don’t in sanctuary cities).
by releasing criminals back into society they are violating those directives.

It is time for the law to be upheld. No political interference, one law for everyone, that especially includes muslims. Any who think shari’a is above the America law, who’ll be immediately deported, it is time to get serious about what an American is, and most defiantly is not. Same was jail, no more catering to muslims in jail, they get exactly what everyone else does, nothing more, nothing less.

Compare what NYC would be like under a clear thinker such as Mullins who is respectful of duty, order and existing laws, and Hillary Clinton. I would visit NYC under someone like Mullins. Under Clinton I wouldn’t spend a dime there.

Under Mullins, NYC would be a disaster. Police unions, and all others for that matter, lie. I would trust the mayor over Mullins or Lynch absent evidence of fraud by the mayor.

It would have been nice if the mayor had taken out the head of the other big police union, Patrick Lynch, to send a message. As it is, the mayor might well stiff Mullins’ union at the next contract negotiations and dare him to call an illegal strike.

Liberals have gated community brains and have lost the keys. I hope illegal criminals will flood NYC and other sanctuary cities until Americans protest on the streets in support of law enforcement. .

De Blasio is probably the worst mayor NYC has ever had. Rudy puts him to shame when he was the mayor and I don’t think there’s been a mayor that can even come close! Crime was down and he backed his police force unlike this sorry excuse of a mayor who seems to do everything possible to tie the hands of the police making their jobs harder. He’d rather make it easier for the criminals, illegals and anyone else other than the police who put their lives on the line everyday! I think he’s a disgrace!

Can the police sue the dumb liberal Mayor or just OPENLY DEFY the Mayor and cooperate with the FEDS and the DOJ?

What do expect from a communist mayor who proved himself to be an anti American like
Obama. New York City Mayoral Candidate Bill de Blasio
spent time as a left-wing supporter and activist for Nicaragua’s ruling
Sandinista party at a time when the Reagan administration characterized
it as “tyrannical” and “Communist.” He also honeymooned in Cuba in violation of the United States.

Perhaps the Mayor will mull over what the Police Union is saying and begin to pursue a legal path. However, the city needs to be sued and the Mayor held politically and economically accountable for defying federal law.

Just what is the point of having laws if they are not upheld and are blatantly disregarded???

Seems like the West is heading fast into being run by the ‘law of the jungle’. Which will inevitably lead to mayhem then a ‘saviour’ (sarc) in the form of a world government can control us all. Be aware, be very aware.
