We broke this story here at The Geller Report, and so kudos and thanks to all the Geller Report readers who contacted Sioux Falls officials and made sure they didn’t succumb to fears of “Islamophobia” charges, but instead did their jobs.

“Man Who Brought Guns To Sioux Falls Conference Charged With Terrorist Threats,” Kelo, April 21, 2017 (thanks to Brannon):

Story continues below advertisement

The man in a viral Facebook video broadcasted live outside a Christian Conference in Sioux Falls earlier in April has been charged with one count of a terrorist threat.

45-year-old Ehab Jaber’s charges come from the alleged incident on April 9. In his Facebook Live video, he was seen with a number of firearms.

When authorities searched his home, they seized firearms and meth.

Jaber spoke on Facebook about the incident earlier this week.

More than 300 people turned out for the event with a former Muslim turned Christian pastor Shahram Hadian and Christian Radio Host Brannon Howse.

Jaber’s video showed him in the parking lot of the Sioux Falls hotel and in the event.

“I did not go to a Christian conference to hurt anybody. I went to protest. I went to protest an anti-Muslim rally,” Jaber said earlier this week.

Jaber says he went to join the pro-Muslim protest outside the hotel….

Meth too? I think he will be spending a long time in jail. If he has family I hope they are deported.

Who knows? It could have been planted by the cops to help get a conviction and get this jerk off the streets. No one feels safe when you have someone like him post that type of video. Good for the cops whatever the situation might be… He needs to be behind bars for a long time…

The slime-ball owner of Chobani was asked by a hard-hitting Sixty Minutes reporter if he had said he’s leading the jihad against white, Christian America in upstate New York and now in Idaho, and he just smiled like a scumbag, turned his palms up and shrugged — which Sixty Minutes gladly took as a “no” and immediately moved on.
I thought California was going to be the spark of the new Crusade on American soil but now I think it’s going to be in Idaho… Or Florida.

Yeah, that’s one of my favorite topics. They overindulge in alcohol when they get the chance, and the street criminal Muslims go bonkers on hallucinogenic drugs and other street drugs, crazier than any other street criminals I’ve seen. I think that is a key to understanding the street criminal Muslims who turn terrorist, if investigated it would probably turn out they went bonkers on street drugs quite some time ago.

Protestors do not typically bring guns to non violet rallies in Christian churches. Deport.

He claims to be born here.
Don’t know if we can deport him.
Guess we will have to find other ways to make him uncomfortable….like a long prison term.

I have 2 silly questions ! 1) If the cops found Meth when they went to search his house, why isn’t he in jail for that ? 2) federal law ( and state laws ) prohibit any person who is a ” illegal” drug user from possessing any firearms, at any time or for any reason ! Why is he not in jail ? Could it be a case of some folks are more equal than others ?

Technically, if meth wasn’t on the search warrant, he likely cannot even be charged for having meth in his house

This is where prior SCOTUS precedent will get tested. I expect fully that a litany of SCOTUS decisions, all of which were 9-0 or 8-1, will be used in a motion to dismiss, saying that intent cannot be proven (Elonis v. US set the bar at proving intent), although he did defy a lawful order to leave.

To Chris Wolf’s comment—that was a dumb question to ask; if the actions of the owner of Chobani were illegal, there would have been a prosecution. But for a reporter to insinuate that he is leading a jihad against white Christian Americans demonstrated retardation on the part of reporter.

@disqus_yTnRIKjkWC:disqus – he has 2A rights too, although he was trespassing. It will be interesting to see whether or not a failure to leave when asked constitutes intent to commit terroristic acts.

Everybody gets it. Your thin attempt at hiding behind misguided legal jargon is fooling no one. Just say it. You support this guy who went to a Christian church, made a provocative video in the parking lot, where he made direct threats holding weapons up for all to see telling his audience to “be afraid.” Admit it. Stop pretending to be a legal expert. It doesn’t matter what his intent was. HE MADE THE THREAT!

Trespassing is the least he has to worry about. Why are you denying the obvious

Well, in a state like New York, such would not be considered a terrorist threat unless more proof of intent were demonstrated because New Yorkers are hardier. In middle America, they’re not as hardy. You’d need for it to rise to the level of what someone like James Cromitie did—get them in a buy and bust.

Are you serious? Not a terrorist threat? You are either a jihadi apologist, or out of your mind.

Terroristic threat is a pretty subjective term.

When the knife is at your throat and the knife wielder is yelling Allahu Akbar, one tends to think in subjective terms.

Protest “an anti-Muslim rally’ with enough firepower for a SWAT Team? Really? Sorry, nobody’s buying that complete load of s**t! So, just exactly how does a meth user get the money for such an arsenal. He obviously doesn’t work and has plenty of time on his hands. Shouldn’t his money source be investigatged?

aemoreira1981

Unless he has a prior criminal record, there is no reason to investigate the money source. That basically leaves trespass as a basis for other charges.

I live in the same city as this terrorist wanna be. He works at a fancy steakhouse restaurant or maybe used to. He might have gotten fired because of what has all gone on. The local police department was inundated with phone calls earlier in the week. For several days the police kept putting out news reports that they didn’t have enough evidence to convict him. Heard it on the news for several days straight. It was even on Michael Savage radio program I think it was last Thursday or Friday night. News like this spreads like wildfire in this town and I for one am so glad it did. This guy should not be on the loose. Here is another prime example as to why we should not bring in Muslims into a Judeo-christian nation. You will always be having these type of problems…

Yes. There’s something wrong when the police only act to pursue someone like this only after intense public pressure to do so. Seems that’s something they should have initiated on their own.

Personally I am feeling lucky that cops found some meth in his house, otherwise I suspect we’d still be hearing from the police that there is ‘nothing that can be done about him’

Why bring “a number of guns” to any event? You can only shoot one at a time and your reload will easily fit in your pants pocket. That is why I use an ankle holster to carry most places, including the church sanctuary each Sunday.
