3,000 “extremist fatwas” means 3,000 “extremist” imams, unless some of them are repeating themselves. How did this supposed misunderstanding of Islam become so widespread? If true Islam is peaceful, why are there so many misunderstanders of Islam?

Egypt’s official religious institution tasked with drafting edicts has found 3,000 fatwas (religious edicts) issued by extremists that incite the destruction of churches in the country, Egypt’s Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, said on Friday.
Dr. Allam rejected the existence of these fatwas, saying: “human diversity is inevitable and divine … the oppression of religions is rejected by law because human relations are a divine formula to achieve coexistence and renounce discord.”
The extremist fatwas rejected coexistence between Muslims and Christians in Egypt.
Towards the end of 2016, 25 people were killed and 31 wounded in an explosion that targeted the Cathedral of Saint Mark in the Abbasia district in Cairo….

Yes, Christians are becoming extinct in the Middle East thanks to ISIS and their supporters. It should be obvious to even the most obtuse among us, that Christians along with Jews are being singled out for extinction.

Muslums were slaughtering and persecuting Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, Baha’i long before ISIS existed and will be doing so long after the Islamic State is gone.

All foreign aid to nations that actively persecute any religion other than islam, which is not a religion but a political system must be cut off immediately. It is foolish to finance bigots and racist’s practice of destroying the property and murdering the followers of other peaceful beliefs.
