The owner of the house suspected as a militant hideout of Neo JMB in Jhenidah Sadar upazila, was converted to Islam five years back, police said.
The owner took Abdullah as his Muslim name after he converted to Islam in 2012 from Hinduism. He then married a Muslim girl, according to police.
Abdullah, previously known as Provat Kumar Batul, is the son of one Chaiti Baul of Porahati village in the upazila.
A driver of a human hauler by profession, Abdullah used to sell timber dust as fuel from house to house in the locality.
Law enforcers have information that Abdullah, a member of a militant group in the district, has a lot of arms and explosives in his possession, our Jhenidah correspondent reports quoting Ajbahar Ali Sheikh, assistant superintendent of police (ASP) of the district.
Based on the tip, law enforcers yesterday conducted the raid at the house, around 700 yards away from Jhenidah-Magura road and three kilometres away from the district headquarters, the ASP said.
A team of 30 counterterrorism members led by ADC Nazmul Hasan resumed the operation around 9:15am today under the code named “Southpaw” in presence of Deputy Inspector General of Khulna range Didar Ahmed.
The team recovered 17 containers of hydrogen peroxide, a 7.65 foreign made pistol, seven bullets, 15 to 16 jihadi books around 10:00am today….

Compare the US Constitution on Liberty and Islamic Sharia Law on Liberty. The Light and the Darkness, and the Darkness is creeping toward us, extinguishing Liberty’s Light in its path.
Sharia rejects freedom, embraces discrimination, condones misogyny, promotes subjugation and is eternally in conflict with infidels, with you and me. Muslims fair little better under this barbaric, dogmatic form of totalitarianism. No amount of political correctness, multiculturalism or moral equivalence will actually improve Sharia – it must be rejected outright.
Consider the 1400 year history islamification of Egypt, North Africa, Central and SE Asia and the current assault on nations across the globe including France, Kenya, the UK and US. Consider the murder of Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and both Muslims and non-Muslims by the followers of Islam as a dark and ominous glimpse into the future.
We must take a stand to end the creeping annihilation of liberty and culture; to stop this islamic conquest. To not stand up is moral cowardice.

Incorporate a daily routine to start getting involved including posting to blogs, attending local groups and others if able, and donated to good organizations and sites that are taking the fight to the enemy.

muslims are easy to understand. The problem is accepting the facts of islam once they are known. In civilization, religion is a positive socially cohesive benefit to society. islam is destructive to every level, from the private person, social interactions, religion/superstition in islam’s case and government. muslims take the qur’an literally, if it say to rape, steal, murder, lie or anything else, that is precisely what they do. Note that the 10 Commandments, that in one way or another are accepted in every other religion, even among Pagans, are rejected and corrupted in islam.

I guess all that inbreeding just cancels out critical thought processing. I know robert spencer has suggested mohammed may not even have existed and the verses were hodge podged together years later in their book. That may explain the contradictory benign verses the apologists like to bring up when questioned about the multitude of deadly ones. They forget the nice ones were from mecca when the supposed mohammed was trying to lie his way into getting followers.
