Unconfirmed reports of brutality are coming out of Turkey.

Important water sources such as Lake Van are in the Kurdish-inhabited area of Turkey. There is no way that Turkey will give up their influence there. Apparently, that means torture, murder, death by starvation, and the killing of everything that moves are legitimate tactics in preserving Turkey’s national security.

One might be tempted to call this Nazi-like, which is the very thing Turkey’s Prime Minister is accusing others of.

“Photos ‘document brutal Turkish takeover of Kurdish village,” France 24, March 16, 2017:

A small Kurdish village in southeastern Turkey was occupied by the Turkish army for 19 days, ending on March 2. In the days since, shocking photos have been circulating on social media showing the brutality that occurred. The photos show destroyed homes and walls pockmarked by bullets, as well as the carcasses of animals that starved to death while their owners were on lockdown. Further images show people who appear to have been tortured.

From February 11 to March 2, people living in the village of Koruköy (called Xerabê Bava in Kurdish) claim they were forbidden from leaving their homes by the Turkish army. Among the allegations that have emerged include: soldiers arresting village residents, including the 71-year-old village chief, and the bulldozing of several homes. Being unable to care for their animals, the villagers lost much of their livestock, which starved to death.

The local Kurdish press published numerous accounts of locals who said soldiers had assassinated several residents and tortured others.

“Mr Prime Minister, are you going to intervene on behalf of Abdi Aykut? It was reported that he was tortured after being arrested in Nusaybin Kuruköy”, tweeted opposition deputy Sezgin Tanrıkulu
Abdi Aykut, a resident of Koruköy, claimed that he was tortured by the soldiers who occupied his village. His photo was first posted online on February 22. According to his lawyer, Aykut was taken to a hospital located outside of the village for treatment before being arrested on March 3.

Cut off from the world for 19 days
While the landlines in the village were all cut during the reported occupation, some local residents were able to use cell phones to alert people outside about what was happening. In these phone calls, residents said that soldiers had arbitrarily beaten both teenagers and the elderly in the streets. They also claimed that the army had also cut off electricity as well as prevented ill people from going to see a doctor….

The Arabs really hated living under Turkish rule during the Ottoman Empire period. The Turks were more brutal than the Germans, the Germans got their ideas from the Turkish genocide against the Armenians.

Yes, you are right. With straight face, they deny the Armenian Holocaust, as some in Iran deny the Jewish Holocaust.

The Iranians resented the Arabs when they brought Islam, but see how staunch they have become today.

I thank God that I live in this country despite all its problems. The ME is a hellhole and it’s becoming worse by the day. This is where the world began, and this is where it all will end.

And the world stays silent. The left does not speak of it. Our former President was a favorite there.
I don’t recognize this world we live in any longer. When will it end. How will it end. I sometimes hope for a Savior, bit I feel guilty.
A world of good men could fix this. I guess we could pray for a world of good men.

Turkey has reverted back to being an Islamic state as it was from the fall of Constantinople to the end of WW1. The Armenian genocide was just as evil as the holocaust and Turkey has never accepted their guilt for the crime. God have mercy on any people that comes under the domination of Islam. Islam is worse than Nazism.

it’s good that you brought up that little known fact about the kurds . Also there are Christians in the Kurdish controlled areas in Iraq that have been prevented from returning to their homes and villages by the Kurds after they were retaken from the isis !!! The kurds are muslim just like the rest . they’re just not as strict .

That is the truth. We tend to get sentimental about the Kurds after their suffering under Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and Turkey, but the fact is that they played a willing role in the mass murder of Armenians, Assyrian and Greek Christians.

What happened to Turkey? It use to be a Christian country and now with Obama’s help, it’s became a radical Muslim country, just like Iran.
