And then comes the knock on your door: Facebook has outed you, and you’re being extradited to Pakistan to face a “blasphemy” trial and certain death.
Will Zuckerberg sink this low? Will Western governments be so supine as to allow this? These days, you never know.

ISLAMABAD — An anti-terrorism court in Pakistan has put three online bloggers in the custody of a federal agency for a week so it can investigate blasphemy charges against them and determine whether they should be formally tried and punished.
Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency, or FIA, arrested the three men earlier this week as part of an ongoing crackdown on suspects involved in posting blasphemous material on social media.
Authorities say that laptops of the detainees have also been seized for forensic analysis….
Shortly after they went missing, radical clerics and hardliners through television interviews and talk shows accused the bloggers of committing blasphemy through online activities.
The five men have fled Pakistan because even allegations of blasphemy can provoke Islamists to kill those suspected of it.
A provincial governor, a federal minister and members of non-Muslim minority communities have been among those killed in Pakistan for criticizing or seeking reforms in the anti-blasphemy law, or for being wrongly accused of insulting Islam.
Social media challenged
Pakistani officials have also contacted Facebook and Twitter to request them to identify Pakistanis outside the country who are posting anti-Islam material so the government can pursue their extradition and prosecute them at home.
Federal Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan announced this month that a Facebook delegation is to visit Pakistan soon to discuss the issue with his government….

Simple solution, do not use face book or twitter, they are not trustworthy, they will sell you for a few cents.

Well I sure hope Twitter or Facebook does not unmask these people, of which would be sending them to their death. If they do, then IMO, these web sites should be shut down, because if they do it to Muslims, then they’ll do it to anyone.

Excellent point. I seem to remember that at some point in the 21st century there was a Jordanian arrest warrant for Robert Spencer for some sort of crime against islum, but I might be mistaken.

face book and twitter are taking it upon themselves to be judge, jury and support the actual executioners of those who would think for themselves which in itself iii blasphemy against islam. Why would anyone participate in face book or twitter as this will not end with the deaths of blasphemers. Once muslim dictators realize they can force face book and others into serving their purpose, everyone that is involved with something like face book is at risk, as face book has taken it upon itself to be the custodian or public and private thought. Smart people will be getting out of face book as its files are very likely already being distributed to islamic and other enforcement agencies, none of whom have the interests of freedom of democracy in mind.

How truly scary and shocking indeed, Pakistan does NOT deserve to be called a real “democracy: if it really did ask for this.
But even more scary and shocking is that Facebook and Twitter might actually comply with their demands.

Zuckerberg is a spineless and unprincipled toady who would sell his mother if he could make a buck. He’s already caved to Mother Merkel in her crusade to destroy Germany… what makes anyone think he won’t cave to the Paki’s as well? So what if a few thousand Paki’s get ‘outed’ and beheaded as long as he keeps making his millions? The irony in all of this is that, as a Jew, he’ll be one of the first to lose his head when the Caliphate starts cleaning out the infidels… thanks to his support of their desire to conquer the West. I hope to live long enough to see him s**tting his pants before the sword comes down.
