Scotland Yard has confirmed that the incident is a terror attack and a full terror investigation is underway.
As one Brit reader sadly wrote me, “Awful news and a tragedy for the families of the deceased. Losing a police officer in the line of duty is a mercifully rare event in the UK – it will be felt by the whole nation.”

- Four-wheel drive car said to have driven over Westminster Bridge knocking down pedestrians this afternoon
- Victims were said to have been left scattered in the road, with some knocked into the River Thames
- Emergency services treated at least 20 injured people on the bridge, with one woman dead under a bus
- ‘Asian’ knifeman got into the grounds of Parliament where he reportedly stabbed a police officer
- The ‘middle-aged’ attacker was then shot by armed officers as armed anti-terror police flooded the area
- Parliament was suspended and the Prime Minister was rushed from the scene in her official car

LONDON – An assailant stabbed a policeman and was shot by police just outside Britain’s parliament building in London on Wednesday in what police described as a “terrorist incident.”
Amid confusing scenes, it appeared the incident may have unfolded in several locations, including on the nearby Westminster bridge where eyewitnesses said a car had crashed into pedestrians.
At least two people have died in the incident, according to Sky News, but the total number of casualties was unclear. One of the casualties was a law enforcement officer.
“Officers – including firearms officers – remain on the scene and we are treating this as a terrorist incident until we know otherwise,” London’s Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
The incident took place on the first anniversary of attacks by Islamist militants that killed 32 people in Brussels.
Reuters reporters inside the parliament building heard loud bangs and shortly afterwards saw two people lying on the ground in a courtyard just outside, within the perimeter of the parliamentary estate.
A Reuters photographer said he saw at least a dozen people injured on Westminster Bridge, next to parliament.
His photographs showed people lying on the ground, some of them bleeding heavily and one apparently under a bus.

“I just saw a car go out of control, and just go into pedestrians on the bridge,” a woman who gave her name as Bernadette told Sky News. She was on a tour bus on the bridge at the time.
“As we were going across the bridge, we saw people lying on the floor, they were obviously injured. I saw about 10 people maybe. And then the emergency services started to arrive. Everyone was just running everywhere.”

“HORRIBLE TO WATCH”
Some people suffered catastrophic injuries in the incident, British news agency the Press Association reported, citing a doctor at St Thomas’s Hospital which is located directly across the River Thames from parliament.
Officials said an assailant had stabbed a policeman and then been shot.
Witness reports suggested the assailant and the stabbed policeman were the people seen lying on the ground just outside the parliamentary building by Reuters reporters.
The House of Commons, which was in session at the time, was immediately suspended and lawmakers were asked to stay inside.
Prime Minister Theresa May was safe after the incident, a spokesman for her office said. He declined to say where May was when the attack took place.
Journalist Quentin Letts of the Daily Mail newspaper told LBC radio that he had witnessed the stabbing of the policeman and the shooting of the assailant from his office in the parliament building.
“He (the assailant) ran in through the open gates … He set about one of the policemen with what looked like a stick,” Letts said.
“The policeman fell over on the ground and it was quite horrible to watch and then having done that, he disengaged and ran towards the House of Commons entrance used by MPs (members of parliament) and got about 20 yards or so when two plain-clothed guys with guns shot him.”
Reuters reporters inside parliament saw a large number of armed police, some carrying shields, pouring into the building.
US President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House he had been briefed on events in London but gave no details.
In Edinburgh, the Scottish parliament suspended a planned debate and vote on independence as news of events in London came in.
Britain is on its second-highest alert level of “severe” meaning an attack by militants is considered highly likely.
In May 2013, two British Islamists stabbed to death soldier Lee Rigby on a street in southeast London.
In July 2005, four British Islamists killed 52 commuters and themselves in suicide bombings on the British capital’s transport system in what was London’s worst peacetime attack.

The Wikipedia entry (Ref. 1) for the Moro Rebellion states:

He was incarcerated long ago (2008) – He was also incarcerated again in January 2016 for two years. It seems he was released before Christmas 2016. Far beyond my intelligence to understand the reasoning of our fine educated lawmakers.

They cry in Australia if you shoot a terrorist dead like they did the 16 year old. They say they are not responsible for their action and other people influenced them. If they are injured they take them to hospital and keep them as long as possible. Say they had mental health issues and hang out the court case as long as they can. Put over the story a lengthy delay to do the brief hoping people forget. We even had a Nun say over one terrorist who set fire in the bank and injured 20 people we should have compassion for him. Never once mentioned in the injured people some badly burnt. Judges care about no one but themselves. They sympathise with all criminals. Nothing ever happens to them or their families that is the reason why. Spit at a Police or be rude to him it is okay. Do not stand for a Judge and it is the end of the world.

2) They make money from rich lobbies to do bad things
3) These action are taken by the unelected beauracrats who are almost impossible to fire, who write procedures that cannot be rescinded without new laws for the most part.

The old testament, for example, has stoning as a form of capital punishment. This has no place in Judaism of today. There are many other examples. No it is not and most British Police Officers don’t want to be armed. Why would any of them want to be armed as when ever they fire a shot they are treated as a criminal until they have proven that they were justified.

How many people must die before Islam is declared a Terrorist Organization and it and those that follow it are banned from civilized nations. I would say the time is now, and Islam and those that follow it and cater to it need to be kicked to the curb, and sent packing.

Islam is going to be sent packing from America, and relegated to garbage dump of history where it belongs. There is a movement afoot to ban it here, and stamp it with the credentials it so richly deserves, and has earned. Those credentials for Islam would be that of a terrorist organization.
Once branded the Religion of Terror Islam will lose the protection and cover of the Constitution it has been covertly operating it’s terror network under, and it and its members will be sent back to the he’ll holes it crawled out of.
As for homegrown Muslims, Converts, and Coddlers Re-education camps will be their destination so Muhammad can be waterboarded out of them.

This is not right. I don’t know how governments expect decent citizens to keep putting up with this, with more coming in, no one knowing who anyone is, and more vigils, more statements that we will not be cowed by terror. Can people read?
