Muslim who planned to behead Pamela Geller to be sentenced, could be RELEASED

“The U.S. Attorney’s Office recommended a prison sentence of 22 years for Rovinski….Aside from time served, the deal includes a fine, supervised release for life, and a special assessment of $200.”

This is a strange story. It refers in the last paragraph to a “deal” which would include “supervised release for life.” Apparently this means that it is possible that Rovinski could be released. He plotted to murder me for Allah, and he could be released. His release will be “supervised.” With all the jihad attackers lately who have turned out to have been on terror watch lists, that is hardly reassuring.

“The government also intercepted two letters they said were written by Rovinski while in jail. In them, he continued attempts to recruit for ISIS and pledged his allegiance to the terrorist group.” Rovinski should stay in prison. He should serve those 22 years, or more.

“Warwick man to be sentenced in ISIS-inspired plot,” NBC 10 News, March 23, 2017:

A Warwick man is scheduled to be sentenced in federal court in May for conspiring to commit a beheading for ISIS.

Nicholas Rovinski pleaded guilty in September to two charges of conspiracy for his role in a terror plot.

Prosecutors said Rovinski planned to behead New York conservative blogger Pamela Geller with co-conspirators he met on Facebook, David Wright and Wright’s uncle, Usaamah Rahim of Boston.

Rahim was shot and killed in June 2015 by Boston police and the FBI when he lunged at them with a knife….

The government also intercepted two letters they said were written by Rovinski while in jail. In them, he continued attempts to recruit for ISIS and pledged his allegiance to the terrorist group….

The U.S. Attorney’s Office recommended a prison sentence of 22 years for Rovinski.

“He has to show remorse and the only way he can show remorse is to say he is no longer allegiant to ISIS, and that maybe actually accurate on his part. He’s a young kid, but what he did beforehand is really going to hurt him at sentencing,” said attorney and NBC 10 legal analyst Mark Dana in September.

Aside from time served, the deal includes a fine, supervised release for life, and a special assessment of $200.

“He has to show remorse and the only way he can show remorse is to say
he is no longer allegiant to ISIS, and that maybe actually accurate on
his part…” WTF? Perhaps the courts should have had a copy of the Koran so they could look up the part referenced above. It would say deceive all of the non-Muslims to achieve your ends, or something like that. He is not remorseful. What a complete sham. He’s probably already “crewed up” while in prison and has his next mission planned. Then this: “Aside from time served, the deal includes a fine, supervised release for life, and a special assessment of $200.” What a raw deal. No cookies, no apology from the government? Assessment of $200? Shouldn’t that be more like $200K? This is unbelievable. We truly have no justice system in the U.S. any longer. The courts and the prison system might as well be handing him a bomb vest on his way out of the gate.

The courts are filled with liberals who love muslims, illegals, murderrers but hate christian/conservative Americans. They’d rather lock up us veterans. I and many were victims by the facist federal courts in the past. Americans don’t know the tyrrany on federal and state liberal run courts. The FBI/ATF/Marshalls/BLM under liberals is the same as Gestapos/SS Nazis. Until you become a victim of theirs you would think they are decent. I don’t need to show example. I’m sure you are informed on Ruby Ridge, Waco, Oklahoma City, Aryan Gonzales, Bosnia, BLM and many others. Biggest threat to Americans are Muslims & their liberal allies!

YES. Absolutely. Those incidents you mentioned are just a tip of the iceberg on how our gov has run amok with ZERO accountability. And those insane leftists keep pushing the lie that conservatives are the threat. When was the last time a Christian went on a school killing rampage in the name of Christianity. When was the last time a Christian slaughtered his family members to “honor” his family name. When was the last time a Christian took his car and ran down people on a sidewalk. That’s right. Never. A Muslim………

I don’t think they are decent and see them for what they are, goons , as you stated GEstapos/SS Nazis. They are not decent , moral , law abiding humans, they are indecent, immoral, law breaking thugs. There are of course exceptions but I suspect there are few of them.

“He has to show remorse” is a ludicrous statement since no one can guarantee the sincerity of anyone’s emotions, especially in this case when it’s a prerequisite for leniency. Some of the things we read today are so senseless it defies belief. The reluctance in our courtroom officials to administer justice to attempted murderers is diabolical.

It’s called delusional and I have been thinking on the insanity running rampant in this nation. I don’t know if you are a Christian but in the bible it tells of a time that people will call good evil and evil good. There are several passages thru out the bible that cover this topic, it is during the last of the day’s before Christ’s return. Anyway’s, while I knew this would happen, I didn’t realize just how insane it would be. I don’t even know how the people engaged in the insanity can look anyone in the eye, except, they are delusional , insane. I don’t know how one deals with the insane.

Shouldn’t he also have to write a letter of remorse to Pamela Geller? I think so.

The federal courts are just as sick as this Muslim turd. He made the threat, now he should pay his 22 years punishment…

Supervised release means he is supposed to report to his probation officer every 6 months, or something like that.

I feel that there is undue influence of CAIR or another Muslim Brotherhood Agent in the life of this judge. To allow an unrepentant Attempted Murderer loose is a travesty.

the fine for littering is more than the fine for being involved in terror plots, and a credible threat to behead a US journalist. I don’t think 22 years in prison for his crime is enough.

“supervised release for life”?
And this is going to cost we the taxpayers how much?
What genius came up with this crazy “deal” and gross miscarriage of justice?
Just shoot him, save money, and make Pamela Geller and all the rest of us a little safer.

THIS is easy to solve. Any official who deems this man is “safe” for society MUST vouch for society’s safety by saying if he harms anyone I am willing to pay for his crime in his stead, even if it means my death.

Nuff` said!!!

I am suprised the judges have not yet been apologizing that certain aspects of religious expression under Islam such as killing Christians and Jews are still illegal in America.
