A suspect in last week’s wave of gruesome church shootings in Shelbyville, Tennessee church buildings was arrested over the weekend. Muslim convert Wendell Buchanan was arrested Saturday afternoon shortly after he was seen driving by Horse Mountain Church of Christ on Horse Mountain Road, which was hit on at least three separate occasions by gunfire. Buchanan allegedly fired into two other churches — Philippi Methodist Church and Singleton United Methodist Church — the University of Tennessee Extension office and shot out several Charter Communications cable boxes during overnight hours Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. What the media is not reporting is the suspect is a Muslim convert.

And Atlas readers are long familiar with the troubles in Shelbyville, a gateway city for Muslim resettlement. A couple of years ago, I reported on the al Farooq mosque and the sharia beatings going on in the children’s classes.
And a Tyson Foods meat-packing plant in Shelbyville decided in 2009 to acquiesce to a local union’s demands to drop the paid holiday of Labor Day in favor of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr, a decision that Tyson later reversed in the wake of a public backlash.

Wendell Buchanan
Shelbyville has a new problem; a shooting spree by a suspect, Wendell Buchanan, apprehended by local whose social media discloses his possible Muslim conversion. The issue is why local law enforcement hasn’t reached out for assistance of the Joint Terrorism Task Force and the FBI to investigate this as a possible terrorist event. This report would appear to suggest that Buchanan was on a self motivated jihad mission against hated kuffar religious institutions in the community:
September 27 – October 02, 2016: Shelbyville, TN: Three churches were shot up in the Shelbyville, TN area starting on the night of Sep 27, 2016. The Horse Mountain Church of Christ was shot 16 more times the night of Sep 29. The Philippi United Methodist Church along with another church was also struck by 7.62 x 39 rounds on the 29th. (7.62 x 39 rounds are consistent with an AK47 or a SKS rifle) The Bedford County Agriculture Center was also attacked with gunfire on the 29th, shattering the front glass. There were also reports of utility boxes being shot during this time.
On October 02, 2016, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Wendell Buchanan, age 30 for the shootings. A check of Wendell Tobias Buchanan’s Facebook page shows that he has been quoting the Quran and demonstrates he is a very vocal follower of Islam.
An October 4, 2016 Shelbyville Times Gazette report on the apprehension of Buchanan noted the seriousness of the charges, but without identifying the ideology behind it:

Wendell Buchanan, 36, of Sevier Street was arrested Saturday afternoon shortly after he was seen driving by Horse Mountain Church of Christ on Horse Mountain Road, which was hit on at least three separate occasions by gunfire.
“Several deputies were at the church talking with members,” Detective Sgt. Scott Jones of the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday night. “We were given a good description of the suspect’s car.”
A man working nearby Saturday morning heard shots, ran toward the road and saw Buchanan’s car, lowered with sport wheels, drive by, investigators said.

“Wendell Buchanan drove by while they were there and Officer Tory Moore of the Shelbyville Police Department, who was patrolling in the area, stopped him on Highway 437 (the Shelbyville bypass).”
When asked if Buchanan had given a reason for his actions, Jones said Monday the investigation hadn’t yet reached that point.
“We’re still talking to him,” Jones said. “This is a joint investigation between the city and county. We’ve worked together from the start.”

County investigators are charging Buchanan with nine counts of vandalism, five counts of desecration of a venerated object and four counts of destruction of utility fixtures.
Another vandalism charge was filed by city police for the UT Extension incident, which occurred inside Shelbyville.
Buchanan was being held on $500,000 bond at Bedford County Jail on Monday.

There are lots of questions that should prompt JTTF interests. How and where did Buchanan acquire the AK 47, the ammunition and a possible high capacity magazine? Was it at a gun show or via an on-line purchase? Given his self professed Muslim’s profession of faith to his god Allah, where might Buchanan have attended Mosques in the central Tennessee vicinity for possible “instruction” in his new faith?

That really should not surprise anyone today.
When we finally lose the internet, find the truth as censored there as in the Press, and have to rely on these TV News stations and “Local Papers” all dancing to the same tune, the tune dictated, ultimately, by Arab monied interests, at that point we can kiss our civilization and Liberal values goodbye.
Just hunker down, buy a prayer rug, don’t have daughters and put the feminists into their sack-cloth bags “because all cultures are equally valid”.
The Obama ICANN give away to the UN has assured the path forward will be an internet censored based on concepts of Islamic Blasphemy and Sharia. It is coming and no one seems to be noticing.

The League of the South was in Shelbyville a few years ago doing a public demonstration against jihad and Islamic immigration in Tennessee. Sad to see this lost soul deceived by the false and immoral ideology of Islam. He was “set free” from his “spiritual cage” by the “truth” found in the Qur’an, and to avoid “hell” which is “obtained through sin”, he went on a jihad shooting spree of Christian churches in devotion to Allah. Before Allah set him free, he says he tasted hell through his “sin” and “unbelief.” I wonder what constituted sin for this guy before his conversion and whether it involved felonies worse than this.

Its kind of funny. Christian ideology has always been behind war, murder, and invasion and occupancy of foreign lands. As a country we’ve killed millions of people in the name of Jesus Christ. Our ancestors took this country and hoarded the natives and forced them away from their homes, murdering women and children in the process. Granted, the man in question here is wrong for his actions but demonizing a religion because of a few is stupid. Our country’s military force and carelessness has created this escalating situation through senseleas bombings of Islamic cities. We’ve created this monster and now we wish to demonize it, incorrect. That isn’t the Christian way, we are supposed to love our enemies and others, regardless of their personal choices in life. This page is a hate page and a complete hypocritical rhetoric. Pray. A whole lot of hate on display in these comments.

What would you call it? Genocide? Purification of a region and their religious beliefs? Christianity is behind as much violence as Islam is. There are radicals on both sides. Timothy McVeigh killed hundreds and he was a white Christian male. We as a nation need to embrace one another’s differences and remain vigilant in our own pursuits for freedom and personal safety. We need to pray for this young man and his ignorant actions indeed. This happened a few miles from my home but at the end of the day only a building sustained damage. Its stupidity and nothing more, a confused man who made poor decisions. I feel sorry for the current shape of our country, we have many dark days ahead as long as we pretend to be innocent when we are not. I am referencing all the evil our government has forced on other countries. All the small children who witnessed violence, war, and death and are now here with vengance on their hearts. Sad reality we are facing but it isn’t a religions fault, its our own fault for being led blindly into our own demise.

You don’t site anything that backs the claim Mcveigh was a Christian. Let everyone here note there is nothing — not a thing- to back this claim.
In fact please note the following —-Lou Michel spent hours interviewing McVeigh in writing a book titled, “American Terrorist: Timothy McVeigh and the Oklahoma City Bombing”. Michel’s words are enlightening:
Lou Michel: McVeigh is agnostic. He doesn’t believe in God, but he won’t rule out the possibility. I asked him, ‘What if there is a heaven and hell?’
He said that once he crosses over the line from life to death, if there is something on the other side, he will — and this is using his military jargon – ‘adapt, improvise, and overcome.’ Death to him is all part of the adventure.”(SEE NOTE 6)
CONCLUSION
If McVeigh never admitted to being a Christian but rather stated that he was an agnostic, how did Dan Barker and others come to this false conclusion? It appears that at least in Barker’s case, he desires to hijack this false assertion to take the opportunity to slander Christianity. Whatever is the case, God would be the ultimate Judge and its this author’s prayer that Barker and others like him repent to knowing knowledge of Jesus as Lord and Savior.

I have never known of anyone to kill in the name of Jesus Christ. There may be occasions where someone who claims to be a Christian kills someone–yet I have traveled all across the country and have yet to see someone killing another in the name of Christianity. There are only three categories of identity when dealing with an issue—-All Some and None. Some white people murdered indians–this is true. Some indians murdered white people—this is true. Some white people owned slaves in America–this is true. But here are the facts put in prospective. Only 7% of whites owned slaves immediately before the Civil War. Most white settlers were good to certain tribes of the Indians. Not all Indians were peaceful. The black people of America are free today not because they won a war against whites; but rather because good white people who risked their lives and shed their blood gave them their freedom. Today communists are polarizing people in America to turn them against each other—and just when whites and blacks were doing well together we find them separating again. I don’t owe anyone anything because of what my ancestors did several generations ago. And those who try to hold me personally accountable have a warped view of reality. I am a white man—I am not the evil white man–I am one of the one’s who would have fought for their freedoms. And today I continue to love all men. But those who make me the enemy because I am white–you are the racist–and in fact you are the coward–for you now desire to put me down the way that some whites put your ancestors down. And so you are my enemy, not because I despise you, but because you hold me accountable for what someone else did and not for what I do today. Ms Geller, why would you include the last paragraph speculating about where he acquired the rifle? Nothing in your story indicated that he was ineligible to purchase a gun in a sporting goods store. You’re just perpetuating the myth that people can order guns on the Internet without a background check. That lie is part of the agenda that leftist are using to disarm Americans.
