Wave of Islamic Terror Hits Thailand: Rocked by 11 bombs in ONE DAY in Resort Areas

36

Four people have been killed and more than two dozen injured in a wave of lethal bombings across Thailand. Thai police find more unexploded bombs following coordinated blasts.

Muslims have made life hell in Southern Thailand waging holy war to impose Islam and impose sharia. I have been documenting Islam in Thailand for years. So what does the enemedia call these savages? An “armed separatist insurgency.” Evil. Like all Islamic “separatist” groups in China, Russia, Israel, etc., they want an Islamic State.

Thailand rocked by 11 bombs in one day,” CNN, August 13, 2016:

Bangkok (CNN)Five provinces in Thailand have been hit by 11 bombings in less than a day, authorities say.

At least four Thai nationals have been killed and about 36 others were injured, including 10 foreigners, according to Anurak Amornpetchsathaporn with the Ministry of Public Health.

Following his weekly address to the nation, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha denounced the blasts, telling the country — and the world — that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
“I express my condolences to those deaths and injuries — both Thais and foreigners,” he said. “My government will take care and provide full support and we will investigate on this and bring those behind these attacks to legal prosecution with our best ability.”
The prime minister also called on the public to remain vigilant and exercise caution while visiting tourist hotspots, reminding locals to report anything unusual to officials immediately.
“All Thais must help each other unitedly to achieve stability and safety,” Chan-o-cha added, referring to the recent political turmoil following the constitutional referendum. “We won’t create any conflicts with anyone., we must not blame each other. Thais must be united as one.”

Thursday’s blasts

The first explosion occurred at 3 p.m. local time in Trang province, killing one man and injuring six people, according to the Royal Thai Police.
Two bombs went off that evening in the resort city of Hua Hin — one at 10:15 p.m. near a bar called Johnny’s 56, and another at 11 p.m. in front of the Rain Tree Spa.
A woman working at a food vending cart was killed, Police Lieutenant Colonel Samoer Yoosumran said.
Royal Thai Police said another 21 people were wounded.
They include citizens from Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and Austria, according to Thomas Mohr with the San Paulo Hospital in Hua Hin.
Shane Brett, who was visiting the area from Tokyo, said he was close by during both explosions.
He told CNN that he heard a “bang” and saw people panicking around the area.
“[I] went to have a look and caught a glimpse of the scene but the whole area was in frenzy and people [were] advised to stay inside,” he said.
Security at the Hilton hotel where Brett is staying has dramatically increased, he said.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Samoer Yoosumran said the bombs had been placed in tree planters near the targets.
Edwin Wiek, who has lived in Thailand for almost 30 years, tweeted a photo of a planter that was blown apart in one of the blasts.

Multiple attacks Friday

On Friday morning at least eight explosions occurred in five provinces.
Bombs went off again Hua Hin as well as in Surat Thani, Trang Province, Phang-nga province and the resort island of Phuket.
Two bombings in Phuket happened at 7:45 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. on Friday, according to Royal Thai Police.
The explosions hit Patong Beach and Bang La Street — both popular tourist sites — said Major General Theerapol Thipcharoen, the chief of Phuket Provincial Police.
One person suffered minor injuries in the Phuket incident, authorities said.
In Surat Thani city, two explosions occurred at 8:01 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. local time. The blasts occurred about 650 feet apart from each other, local Police Captain Chavalit Chanmornoi told CNN.
The 8:01 a.m. blast killed a female municipal worker.
Chanmornoi said four people were injured in the incident, though the Police put the number of wounded at three.
Two bombs also went off in the Bang Miang market in Phang-nga province at 9 a.m., the Police said. No one was injured.
Back in Hua Hin, another two bombs placed in tree planters went off at 9 a.m. and 9:05 a.m. near a clock tower, a city landmark, according to Royal Police.
“Police have tightened security,” Yoosumran said. “We have set up check points and inspecting bags and other things.”

‘ISLAMIC DRESS RADICALISES WOMEN’

Kyrgyzstan president says women in mini-skirts don’t become suicide bombers

Almazbek Atambayev has tried to dissuade women in the country from dressing in hijabs, niqabs and burkas

By GUY BIRCHALL / 14th August 2016, 10:32 am

THE president of Kyrgyzstan has said women can become radicalised by wearing Islamic dress.

Almazbek Atambayev has tried to dissuade women in the country from dressing in hijabs, niqabs and burkas saying: “Our women have been wearing miniskirts since 1950s, and they never thought about wearing an explosive belt.”
———-
His comments come after several weeks of controversy following a government sponsored campaign to discourage Kyrgyz women from dressing in Islamic garb amid fears of the “Arabisation” of the country.

Arabization or Arabisation (Arabic: تعريب‎‎ taʻrīb) describes either the conquest of a non-Arab area and the migration of Arab settlers into the new domain or a growing Arab influence on non-Arab populations, causing their gradual adoption of the Arabic language and/or their incorporation of Arab culture and Arab identity.

That seems like slightly twisted logic, but in a way Mr. Atambayev may be on to something. It has been shown that a lack of vitamin D can be a contributing factor to depression. In England (and likely other places as well) it was clear that covered women’s babies had more birth defects… lack of vitamin D during pregnancy. I know that cousin marriages had a lot more to do with that.. but still, contributing factors…..
SO yes, not totally covering yourself…better for your mental/physical/spiritual health. Those who say it isn’t so, need to try a month or two of wearing these “I don’t exist” garments every single time they step out the door. They’d soon understand.

Actually there’s no evidence that these are Islamic terrorist attacks. Thailand is currently run by a military coup government that wrote a new constitution that effectively gives the military permanent control over government. They held a referendum and it was passed with pretty big margins. However, few people actually read the proposal and any public dissent or debate on the proposal was put down quickly. When you suppress rational dissent, all that happens is that you give voice to irrational dissent and things get nasty. More like this is a reaction to the recent vote but we really don’t have any evidence regarding who the attackers are.

True but look at the map- all attacks were south of Bangkok; and the extreme south is where Muslim Malaysia borders Buddhist Thailand.
I don’t recall political opponents bombing indiscriminately as jihadis do.
Northern Ireland was supposedly a sectarian conflict, ie religious in motivation. Also, police said the types of bombs used were typical of those built by southern ‘dissidents’

All true but typically Islamic terrorist groups take credit for bombings – which is the entire point. That’s not happening. The timing of the bombing is odd as well. During the holiday for the Queen’s birthday and shortly after this referendum. Makes it all hard to pin down but does show how pointless, senseless, and cowardly these actions are – whomever may be responsible.

Mary
Mary

It wasn’t pointless. The people who timed the attacks this way, did so because of the Queen’s birthday. You see, her birthday is celebrated nationwide as Mother’s Day holiday for all. A very festive day, capped off with fireworks…. timing the bombings as they did meant that many citizens and visitors spent the evening uneasy as each firework made its sound. The objective here was to terrify everyone.
I only know of one religion that has ‘made victorious through terror’ as their creed. Odds are that once again…

Thai police have determined it is indeed Islamic terror- See Bangkok Post today. 100% predictable. RU aware that some 6,500 Thais have died in what is termed the “Southern Insurgency”, ie Islamic Malaysian action? Claims are irrelevant- ISLAM is the driving force of jihad- which is what this is; public holidays mean huge crowds gather in holiday resorts to celebrate- your ‘odd timing’ argument is fallacious.

Benjamin Scherrey

The article doesn’t say that at all. The article says they think it was Southern insurgents but that they may have been hired and aren’t the master minds. I think the article makes it pretty clear the Thai government honestly has no idea.

To be straight – I’m not saying that it was no Islamic terrorists. I’m just saying that there are plenty of other actors with motives and recent events to spark them off and that there simply isn’t enough evidence yet to determine who they are.

Another thing to note is that the Southern Thais are not the same kind of Islam radicals as what you find in ISIS. They are not looking to establish a caliphate in Thailand or anywhere.

Fundamental Radical Islamic terrorism is absolutely a huge problem and deserve what they have coming to them. It’s just pointless to start pointing at every bit of violence and blaming it on them as if they were the boogy man. This is exactly what states like Cuba and Venezuela do to the USA in order to divert attention from their own failures. It’s important to know who your enemy is and be able to stay on target. Otherwise you defeat yourself.

Jim Fox
Jim Fox

Right. The article doesn’t actually say that…

The government has now admitted the bomb and arson attacks in seven central and southern provinces involve insurgent elements, but says they are unlikely to be the masterminds behind the attacks.
A source close to the investigation said evidence suggests the devices used in the bomb and arson attacks in Prachuap Khiri Khan and six southern provinces were assembled in the deep South.

Just like their reaction after Erewan, they go through the charade of ‘Not terrorism’, then ‘Political’, then ‘Insurgents’, then… well you get my drift.
They desperately hope Islam is not involved, yet all the evidence points that way. Who else indiscriminately targets tourists, or gays, or other religions as a matter of policy? Sure sounds like a duck. And even if it turns out to me ‘political’, where does the bombing tactic come from?

The referendum was worded in a way that gave no real choice- democracy was not an option. Dissent in Thailand has been hysterical and based on personalities, not on rationality. The sole factor uniting all Thais is reverence for the King, who has been a
beneficent factor despite having no political power.
I live in Thailand and see no ‘repression’ at all. Chaos breaks out when civilians govern, possibly because they are more corrupt than the military! There are many pictures online of raided properties with rooms stacked full of used banknotes…

Yes. Repentance, prayer, and right action. In the US, the citizens are supposed to be well informed and active in controlling government. Instead it is near impossible to get Christians or anyone else to resist the simple evils like dumbing down of children, ObamaCare, ethanol mandates causing the destruction of our outdoor power equipment, chemtrailing that puts a blanket of heavy and dangerous metals over us that holds in the heat and humidity so the elite can pretend we have global warming, all the alphabet agencies that daily work to rob us of money and our rights, etc. God cares about every aspect of our lives, not just about our eternal address. We know that prophecy will be fulfilled and we can pray in intercession within that context. Will people who are too asleep to take action against the small things be able to stand against the bigger things done by a bully government to people who allowed themselves to be bullied? When I read the Bible I see God encouraging his people to be bold and courageous. The body of Christ in America needs to be brought to understand the devices the enemy has been using against them here for over 100 years. The dumbing down and brainwashing of Americans did not bypass the church or the seminaries. Seminaries were targeted for predictive programming by Rockefeller and other groups.

I am not disagreeing with your post. God is and has been bringing his own people to repentance and preparation for heaven for several years, even as he is bringing in a harvest of new believers all through the non-Western world. Repentance and prayer are powerful weapons. I admit to wishing the church would repent of having largely sat on their blessed assurances while their country was being destroyed, bit by bit.

Street artist crashes ‘Refugee’ art exhibit, includes terrorists and jihadis

August 13, 2016 / By Kyle Olson

Los Angeles street artist Sabo wanted to be sure a new art exhibit didn’t just include the widows and orphans President Obama says are coming to America.

He wanted to be sure the potential terrorists and jihadis — who have said they will infiltrate Western countries as “refugees” — were included in the display as well.

The street artist produced a video of several of his works hanging in Century City, as well as footage of them being taken down by city crews.

“I noticed some of the banners promoting an exhibit at the Annenberg Space for Photography,” he says in the video.

Sabo noted other refugees weren’t included on the banners that only featured women and children.

“I get that art patrons who are insulated from the realities of life by their wealth like financing exhibits like this to help calm the herd of the dangers they fear,” he says.

“Like most left-wing art, it only tells half of the story — a kinder, more genteel half. It challenges nothing.

Sabo notes the exhibit is at the foot of the west coast’s Twin Towers. “My creative offerings to this conversation were immediately taken down,” he says as workers can be seen removing his posters from a bus shelter.

He says it was his images people were stopping to take photos of.

According to the Annenberg website, the “Refugee” exhibit will run through August 21.

Of course when the Quran says to kill the non-believers it doesn’t actually mean it because Islam is a religion of peace. Muslims don’t actually believe commands in the Quran do they? No. That was for the 7th century alone and no rational human being would carry those commands out. Therefore they have a mental problem.

whoa whoa whoa. I suppose i already know the answer to this but did not anybody jump reading the overtly generalized 1st paragraph “Muslims are making life hell in Southern Thailand.” I’m going to assume, to save the author face, that they don’t have much experience in foreign affairs or Southeast Asian affairs. We’re all been or still are interns and we let emotions carry us away to say ignorant things. It would be accurate and more intelligent to say, “Muslim extremist.” Because it is impossible to say that all Muslims in southern Thailand have the same objective and because there is no evidence to support such a claim. Making sweeping generalities may help you drawn in the readers, but it also detracts from the suffering of the victims by using them to push your (authors) agenda.

There is but one Islam: The Koran, Hadiths (the teachings of big MO), and the Sira (biography of big MO). There are no “versions” of Islam. The so called “Islamic radical” is simply a Muslim who takes the core teachings of Islam to heart. The so called “moderate Muslim” is a Muslim who rejects certain core tenants of Islam. Muslims are not permitted to pick and choose what parts of Islam they wish to observe. The moderate Muslim is essentially a lapsed Muslim who is considered an apostate by the Islamic establishment, and can be put to death for apostasy.
The fact is “radical Islam” comes from normative Islam. Islam IS the problem.

Reply to  so,

Dear Sir or Madam, Thanks for the reply. I’ll reply briefly because I’m not trying to change your mind.
In your response you explained that a Muslim is either a normative Muslim (following the Islamic norm or standard) or an apostate is one view held by the normative Muslim. We can use your terms here. I’m sure if we walked across DC, Los Angeles, Bangalore, and interviewed apostate Muslim’s across the continents, they would not identify as such. Neither you or I, as is quite apparent, are experts on Islam. But I do happen to know that the must Muslim populated nation in the world would be what you call apostate Muslims. They outnumber the normative. That country is Indonesia. If you want to support the fight against normative Muslim you would be wiser to differentiate, than embarrass yourself and alienate yourself from current US allies. The real truth of this matter is, laziness. It much easier for our minds and our valuable time to believe what’s the most convenient idea on the table. We jav3 the same exact thing in American man, I’m sure many a ho egrown cults or shooters in the US say they’re the real Christian. Christianity could be crazy and violent too, but fortunately most Americans are apostate Christians.
Honestly, let that logic sit for a bit. I’m not talking over you

Jason, you are gagglingly (to invent a word) patronizing. Apologists for Islam constantly drag in “Christians” and “Christianity” to buttress and detract from their nonsense and here we go again. The radicalism of Indonesia grows daily, and bombings are common there as well. All Muslims are part of the ummah. When push comes to shove, the so-called “moderate” Muslims will shove as well. Their silence in the face of Islamic atrocities is deafening. If they are not bombers, they are anti-Jewish (It’s in the Koran). The non-radicals are part of Islam and when called upon, they are there to support Islam. The use of “moderate” Muslims to advance the political disease is part of the agenda.

“terror-riddled nations like Thailand?”
Have you been here? Thought not.

You are correct in one respect- the southern tip of ‘Thailand’ is actually Malaysia & that’s where Islamic jihad has always been rampant. Thailand should follow Israel’s example and build a very high concrete wall along that border, with a single heavily guarded crossing. Presently they
make it easy for ‘insurgents’.
