LOOK: MBTA Banned all Political Ads After AFDI Submitted this Ad

[the_ad id=”80890″]

We are witnessing government systematically shutting down free speech across the Western countries. Our organization, AFDI, has submitted numerous ads to run on transit systems throughout the country. Our ads are either pro-Israel or counter-jihad, and sharia-compliant systems refuse them (while running pro-jihad, pro-“Palestinian” ads, of course).

Story continues below advertisement

As a result, we have filed numerous First Amendment cases across the countries, in our biggest cities (New York, Washington, Chicago, Miami, Boston, Seattle). Thanks to our preeminent legal team, AFLC, we have won all of our cases.

Great, right? Wrong. In response to our wins, respective city governments have banned all political ads — the Geller ban. New York, Washington, DC, Boston, Chicago, and Miami have all banned political, issue-related, and religious ads.

The city of Boston has been particularly egregious. They have run hundreds of vicious, libelous anti-Israel ads, while refusing all of our pro-Israel ads. This was the ad the MBTA first refused:

Savage-and-civilized-man-ad

We spent 2 years fighting the MBTA.

[the_ad id=”80890″]

We finally submitted this ad (below) — which led to the ban on all political ads. And while it is unconstitutional and must be fought, the good news is the jihadis and antisemites can’t run their ads anymore.

The board that oversees the MBTA voted Monday to ban all advertisements on the transit system that deal with political issues or “matters of public debate,” following recent controversies over ads dealing with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Pamela: The MBTA has determined that your proposed ad is consistent with the current MBTA advertising policy. As you may know, however, the MBTA board recently voted to amend the current advertising policy. Unfortunately, your proposed ad does not comply with the amended policy and we are not able to print and install your ad…

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you. Scott.

So a tax payer supported system can ‘amend’ policies in contradiction to the 1st amendment? Take them to court and submit an ad with the 1st amendment on it.

The system, courts, judges, cops, the legal profession. !! And in this case, little frightened sharia bunnies who would without a doubt if challenged, cast their actions in a light OTHER than the first amendment; showing evidence (which they can find) to prove their buses are a potential proxy battleground for a war between two opposing sides. I’m certain the equally frightened bunny – courts, would rule against or sit on the fence and the case would be lost so whoever initiated the action gets lumbered with the costs. I’m with you of course, but that’s the problem, I should imagine.

You’re probably correct in your assertion, which just adds to the empirical evidence of the dangers of loony left land-to avoid potentially unpopular speech, just ban it all.

Five will get you ten that they would run a Hillary campaign ad in a heartbeat. Birds of a feather.

Hmmm! Looks like our Public Transportation has become like our Public Universities. That is, you can have all the “Free Speech” you want as long as it’s somewhere else. Me thinks the Founding Fathers would think differently about these limitations.

In Canada we can have ‘free speech’ provided we parrot the brainwashed official line of thinking on a variety of matters and pretend that all is well when that is a lie – and newspapers will publish your letters provided these don’t offend anyone on a whole array of ‘sensitive issues’ like Muslims murdering Christians and Yazidis in Iraq and Syria, etc., and other Muslim groups murdering in Nigeria, Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, Libya, Mali, etc.

All this wondrous consideration is not to the groups whose members are being murdered, but to Muslims whose ‘faith members’ are doing the murdering. It is ‘Islamophobic’, ‘bigoted, ‘xenophobic’ and ‘hate-filled’ to remind Muslims that it is their people who are acting like savages. That truthful reminding just makes them just so upset! As long as you express the Obama lie that this savagery is a “perversion of Islam” your letter hasn’t a snowball’s hope in hell of being published, but they will publish utter drivel from Muslims who inform readers: “My Islam is peaceful”.

It is truly pathetic that this society’s media and politicians have sunk to this pitiful level of dishonesty and cowardice and that political correctness ensures its perpetuation.

It is truly pathetic that this society’s media and politicians have sunk to this pitiful level of dishonesty and cowardice and that political correctness ensures that citizens, conditioned through the education system to be unquestioning and p.c., perpetuate disgraceful lies.

Thanks. Things have gone badly wrong when we cannot simply have honesty and the facts.

In Dearbornistan, Michigan, the dhimmi authorities tried to establish “free speech zones” where people could protest the vile, violent, fascist nature of pi$$lam. The thing is the entirety of the USA is supposed to be a free speech zone as guaranteed by the 1st amendment.

I live within the MBTA district. I have a car. I have an advert on my own car it says Boycott Sharia. You can get your own stickers and signs made up very cheaply, printers are all over the web. I used one called Build A Sign in Texas. I keep extra stickers in the car and I hand them out whenever I get a favorable comment.

I would only display these sort of bumper stickers if I was driving a very cheap, on-its-last-legs car. If I displayed that in my neighbourhood it would be a smoking wreck in the morning.

I display pro-Israel stuff in my window every time they go into Gaza but I live in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and if you aren’t English you’ll have to google to see what that means.

I have smoke alarms and fire extinguishers en route to my front door, something I would never have to worry about maybe 20 years ago or in another part of the country.

And, being English, if I am caught with a hand gun there is a mandatory sentence of 5 years. Our Bill of Rights of 1689 has been ‘progressively’ whittled away until there is nothing left any more.

I understand totally as a UK infidel. In my kitchen I have some very fine knives indeed, which strangely, are in a very convenient knife block! I may get another to keep in a different, yet justifiably useful place…

I have an SS dress uniform bayonet with a blade about 18″ long in a beautifully stitched black leather scabbard that my dad brought home after his very good war.

To think that people like us have to take precautions that most people would laugh off as paranoid, and in Britain in the 21st century, is truly scary.

But you and I know Londonistan’s potential. To not know that as an infidel, is both a dereliction and plain stupid. It’s a good job I don’t live there because I would carry and if caught, say why. They’d use me as an example and throw the book at me. Alternatively, having seen the jihad attacks, I could potentially save hundreds of lives and become a jailed infidel hero, later to become absolved!

Your last sentence reminds me of what the US government has done to the 2nd amendment — which they really want to get rid of entirely.

The comments on this thread from the UK are very informative. The techniques and planning Brits are utilizing to counter Islamic supremacy should be noted by Americans. Certainly an in depth report on these preparations would be well received.

More people to burn for stopping free speech, they only know evil and the devil loves to to have them join him in his fire.

Once they take away free speech, then it will be guns, then it will be either Islamic terrorists or Obama’s/Witch Hillary’s Communism as your slave masters. That is if you are still breathing.

Actually, I believe, it will be necessary for the left to take away guns before, not after, taking away free speech. But free speech is on the agenda of the left too, as they have already demonstrated. It won’t stop there if they get their way, they are already using policy centers and university think tanks to craft legislation to take away our 401 accounts. The leftist oligarchs see that money as low hanging fruit. As Thatcher said, “The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money”. The left hopes to make it later than sooner.

Something tells me just what constitutes a “political ad” will be very fluid in Beantown.
I wonder what happened to the criminal investigation into the murder of two Jewish men (at least one of whom was a mixed martial arts fighter) in Boston shortly before the Boston Marathon bombing? Or doesn’t the murder of the kafir al najjis by f’ing muslums rate a criminal investigation anymore?
