An appeal from a Yazidi leader: “Please help our peaceful people”

We are Yazidi, a religious minority living peacefully in northern Iraq. We have been subjected to 74 genocides since the time of the Ottoman rule in Iraq and continues to this day. The most recent genocide happened (August 3, 2014) when the elements of the Kurdistan Regional Government withdrew its forces from Sinjar/Shengal after the entry of the terrorist group, ISIS/Daash. Without warning to our people. Sinjar/Shengal, was attacked.

Our people have been subjected to the most heinous of crimes, murder, rape, looting, kidnapping and sale of our women into the slave markets in the cities of Tal Afar, Raqqa and Aleppo (price range from $100/ $300. per female). And, after all that has happened to us, there still being no one to help us (No government, no army, no police) the most basic humanitarian services, supplies of daily life have been denied us.

All those who appear on newscasts throughout the world, the United Nations resolution did not serve the Yazidi people at all, but only served their parties political and personal interests. There are still more than 3,500 women in the grip of terror in the city of Nineveh, and in the Raqqa, Syria charging a ransom to our poor in exchange for their families, their daughters, women prisoners and there is no one that cares.

Also, there are more than 7,000 families living without the bare necessities, a very bad situation for those living in these areas, and for all Yazidi, because we do not accept the authorities of the Kurdistan (Kurd) regional government who refuses to allow supplies to reach our (Yazidi) people. President Barzani refuses to allow these material supplies reach the mountain (Mt Sinjar).

These families lack government representation in the Kurdistan province after Barzani withdrew from the Sinjar/Shengal without warning and left these families without means to survive. The organization Daash (terrorist extremists), these families do not have shelter and services and are now living well below the
poverty line, which leads to the death of many children due to malnutrition and lack of medical supplies, which also remind all organizations that believe in Humanity that donated money to these poor people have been taken by the Kurdistan Regional Government it did not help any of the current population from these donations to them, and despite all of this, Yazidi’s are still suffering under Barzani (Kurdistan Democratic Party) party fighting Yazidi everywhere. Denying a genocide against the Yazidis. Yazidi need to have access to their legitimate right, it is/was the Yazidi, not the Kurd that were/are being exterminated. Barzani wants everyone to believe this genocide happened on behalf of the Kurdish issue him to have access to the case and the support of the great powers such as the US and UN and others.

Here, we urge and appeal to you humanitarians. To lend a helping hand to us and cooperate to help our people, that have had their lives and lively hoods terminally collapsed from loss and despair of all those around them from the enemy, we have no one, but we ask you to extend us a helping hand, and we welcome you …. Please help our peaceful people.

      Essen was a place for manufacturing armaments in WW II. More than likely it still is. He should contact armament makers in Essen to courteously donate some materials to Yazidis whereby the people at least have an opportunity at self-defense.

      Janet, Congress used to have a great deal of input into who would be allowed into the USA as a refugee. But Congress kind of allowed the evil UN to take over much of that duty. Congress has willingly given over the power they had to the UN, various multinational corporations, the alphabet agencies, etc, Quite often they are just rubber stamping laws written by these interests which are opposed to the American people. International interests have now superseded American interests. You probably already knew all this. Anyway, the regs concerning refugee resettling are written by the UN and shared with the groveling State Dept. They consider Bashir Assad the actual enemy. Anyone who was not particularly oppressed by Assad, like the Christians, does not get refugee status as a rule. They get beheaded, sold, forced conversions, or burned alive. Assad is Shia. Radical Sunni’s were indeed treated harshly by Assad. That is why they get preferential treatment coming to the US to live off your tax dollars – forever. Gives them lots of time for jihad. Our Constitution is being superseded by international law, and most of Congress will accept the payola and shut up. Thank God for the good ones.

        Thanks a lot for explaining this to me! I should have known that the U.N. was involved dictating to us what we have to do and who we have to allow in! What a nightmare this is turning out to be! The U.N. knows exactly what they are doing and the end result isn’t going to be good! They also treat Isreal like crap which tells me a lot!

          It is a nightmare. And Israel really needs our prayers. It is horrific what is being done to their citizens. When I consider a 13 year old being stabbed dozens of times I have to force back the tears. God help us. US taxpayer money is used to encouraged to “educate” young “Palestinians” into this sort of behavior.
