ACTION ALERT: Turkey allows Qur’an recitations in Hagia Sophia for Ramadan

14

For the first time in over 80 years. Their supremacism knows no bounds. Instead of apologizing for their genocide against millions of Christians they do this. It’s just so vile.

Yet another example (in an interminable line) of stunning Islamic supremacism. Turkey is a Muslim country with thousands of mosques. Not. good. enough. They have to take over one of the most exquisite and iconic churches in the Christian world.

If there were any humanity in the Muslim world, they would return to church to its rightful place in the Christian world.

Hagia Sophia to Turn to Mosque During Muslim Ramadan,

” By
By Philip Chrysopoulos, Greek Reporter, June 11, 2016:

Hagia Sophia to Turn to Mosque During Muslim Ramadan

The morning prayer from the Koran was read at Hagia Sophia in Istanbul on the first day of Muslim Ramadan, Monday, June 6, in the presence of Turkey’s general secretary of religious affairs.

The former Byzantine church that now serves as a museum, will turn into a mosque for the next 30 days and the Koran will be read daily until July 5, when Ramadan ends. Religious state channel TRT Diyanet will be broadcasting daily at 2:00 pm from Hagia Sophia.

The fact that the former Christian Orthodox Church that for the past 80 years has operated as a museum and now turns into a mosque for one month has touched a sensitive nerve with Christian Greeks and has been criticized broadly.

However, no official complaint was voiced from the Greek government. The lack of official reaction has prompted criticism from conservative opposition party New Democracy.

“The decision of Turkish authorities to schedule the Koran reading in Hagia Sophia for the next month, has virtually transformed it into a mosque for the first time in 80 years. It is a provocative and incomprehensible act and shows disrespect against Orthodox Christians across the world and is not in line with Turkey’s European course,” said in a joint statement the coordinator of Foreign Affairs and Defence of New Democracy, Dora Bakoyannis, and head of the party’s Foreign sector Ioannis Kefalogiannis.

The conservative party MPs also call on the foreign ministry to take appropriate action immediately and criticize the ministry for its lukewarm, defeatist policy of not displeasing anyone and being good to everyone.

There is nothing that can be done from outside of Turkey about such things as long as you have a Sunni Dictator like ‘Er-Dog-An’ leading the destruction forces from within.

The Pope is The Dope.
He is a cheap politician trying to appease and win the favor of those who are committed to raise their battle flag above St. Peter’s Basilica and publicly behead and slaughter the Dope in St. Peter’s square.
And yet, he tries to appease them.
He is the Dope.
You will see him slaughtered on TV.

According to St Malachy the Prophet, ‘Petrus Romanus’ will run, walking upon the dead bodies of his priests. Where will his Abignon be? Buenos Aires? Sedevacantism will become a reality. No more First Rome, no more New Rome, only the Third Rome—‘a fourth there shall not be’.

And on what presumed authority does the government do that ?
Are people to presume that government has the prerogatives of deity ?
The question is not just HOW
but SINCE WHEN ?

Back in 1453, when the Turks conquered the city, they merely white-washed over the mosaics on the walls and domes—and covered to floors with carpets. In this fashion, Hagia Sophia was made into a great mosque. After the Turkish government ended the mosque use, it became a museum, with a long period of restoration, removing the whitewash and such. The Turks did not intend that the church be used for worship; merely a museum with the mosaics restored.
However, given that the Muslims are far less tolerant these days, it is to be feared that the Turks will attempt to remove and destroy the mosaics altogether. It is entirely likely that they will botch the job and bring the great dome crashing down. If this happens, they are likely to destroy the rest and build a new mosque on the site. Too many Muslims have got ‘that old-time religion’ now and they tend to destroy anything and everything that is not Islamic—including the ancient sites. All vandalism.

Following the Armenian genocide, churches were vandalized, razed and re-purposed by the Turkish muslums so I suppose they have their old-time religion even back then. Then there’s the case of the two synagogues blown up by assorted muslums (mostly Turks) in 2003 that killed 26 people. Personally, I think the whole concept of muslums ever being “tolerant” is nothing but BS.

It doesn’t stop there. There were news reports that Erdogan was upset that he was not going to be allowed to read from the Quran at the Muslim funeral service for former US boxing champ Muhammad Ali. He cut his trip short and left the country. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

If we wanted to do anything about it, Christians should have stood up against the barbarians a few years ago, before the Christian genocide It’s too late to do anything about it now. It’s too late to bring back all the innocent victims we ignored. It’s too late to be ever considered anything but faithless cowards.

When you act like a beggar, expect to be treated as one.
