Obama has set the world on fire. By paving the way for the Iranians to get nukes, he has set the stage for a nuclear arms race in the Middle East that could result in the deaths of millions. That will be his most devastating and lasting legacy.

The old adage proclaiming that the “enemy of my enemy is my friend” was on full display Thursday evening when a retired IDF general sat down with the former intelligence chief of Saudi Arabia to discuss the current tumult facing the Middle East, according to CNN.

Maj. Gen. Yaakov Amidror (res.) along with Prince Turki al-Faisal spoke at the The Washington Institute for Near East Policy in the US capital, where the two discussed a number of security topics including the Iranian nuclear threat and America’s varying role in the region.
“We are both exes,” Faisal said, reminding the audience that the two were private citizens and no longer represented their respective governments.

The most pressing issue facing the two historic adversaries presently is arguably Iran, which both countries believe aims to develop nuclear weapons. According to foreign media reports, Israel and Saudi Arabia have quietly been cooperating with one another for “years” among shared security concerns, despite the Islamic kingdom’s refusal to acknowledge the existence of the Jewish state.
During their discussion, Faisal said that “all options” would be available to the Saudi regime concerning Iranian nuclear proliferation, including the its own “acquisition [of] nuclear weapons… to face whatever eventuality might come from Iran.”
Like Saudi Arabia, Amidror noted that Israel would also meet the threat if Iran decided to weaponize its nuclear technology.
“In principle, the Iranians can go nuclear and from the Israeli point of view, this is a threat to existence,” Amidror said. “We will not let this happen.”…

The best thing that could happen is for every islamic nation to get nuclear weapons, then use them on each other. The half life of radioactive fallout is shorter than the multi millennia muslims would take to become human.

Obama’s legacy will be the slaughter of tens of millions,which if it were only muslims that will die disturbs me not one bit.
The Jewish people are another matter altogether and I believe that in the absence of US support with their Massive Ordnance Penetrators Israel would be fully justified in unilaterally taking out (nuke) Iranian nuclear facilities once Obama and his genocide-enabling threat to shoot down Israeli planes tasked to remove that threat is out of the equation.
What a pity no Son of Oswald hasn’t emerged in the last eight years.

Ok boys, the nuke talk has got to stop. Its far too easy to be flippant. MAD is real. Those with nukes now understand and can sufficiently reason. Islam can’t. It is blinded by its clear gospel of hate and its command to terrorize and kill its own and everyone else in its peaceful push to placate its own prince of peace. No one who regularly wishes death to, anihilation of, and a wiping of peoples and nations off the face of the earth should have possession of weapons that can easily do it. We are already facing an increased pace to our own extinction by peaceful nukes reaffirmed by Fukushima and its occurance guaranteeing that further meltdowns will occur and once again we won’t be able to control it or clean it up. How many other exact same GE reactors exist and how many of all reactors are built by water. Japan is an ocean away and we are the second in line victims of its likely-never-to-be-stopped radioactive leakage. Please be careful what you wish for. Nukes really have to go. Man is far too stupid to be in possession of them. Sure we know how to make them work but we have absolutely no ability to control or contain them safely for the tens and hundreds of thousands of years that they remain lethally toxic to life. We have them because we are greedy for profit and desire power over others. It is an over-kill solution for both desires and its lethality makes it the worst choice for both, too. We should be agreeing to fight with each other with only sticks and stones while we still have that choice to make.
