The news goes from bad to worse. Security services have long feared that jihadis might get their hands on radioactive material.

Police in Belgium found roughly 10 hours of surveillance video in the possession of a suspect in the Paris terror attacks. It  shows surveillance of a Belgian nuclear worker.

What was their plan? We know ISIS is trying to develop a dirty bomb. They need radioactive material.

“Belgian terror search finds video linked to nuclear official,”  AP, February 17, 2016:

BRUSSELS (AP) — Belgian authorities say that searches in the wake of last year’s deadly attacks in Paris have uncovered video linked to a person working in Belgium’s nuclear industry.

The federal prosecutor’s office said in a statement on Wednesday that an “investigation is actively ongoing.”

Belgian media reported that several hours of video was filmed near the home of a man thought to be a senior official at the Mol nuclear waste facility in the Flanders region. The house of the unidentified man was apparently filmed from a nearby wood.

Prosecutors declined to confirm that information or provide details.

Security services have long feared that extremists might get their hands on radioactive material.

It comes as a cloud hangs over some Belgium’s nuclear plants after a number of unplanned shutdowns.

First comes the invasion and then the actual war.

    • NYgal

Muslims have been stealthily invading the West for the last at least 30 years. Now they can accelerate the process because by now the West has been properly conditioned to accept it.

      • rambler

There are still those who won’t accept any of it.

Out of idle curiosity, how foo-kin stupid are people? These are terrorists, they place no value on their lives or others, all are consumables in the establishment of the caliphate. Isis has murdered, mutilated, raped tortured, enslaved and otherwise inconvenienced thousands. Isis has generated an army of desperate terrorized refuges to mask their colonists and army in europe. Nuclear is the next step, it is the only horror they haven’t used.

If you know your history of the 1930s, you know the answer to your question.

      • Mahou Shoujo

The thirties were a time of economic depression exacerbated by drought, coupled to social upheaval and unrest caused by governments incapable of dynamic action on the severe urgent social issues of the time. That is not the answer to my rhetorical question.

Hungary Central Bank Stockpiles Guns, Bullets Citing Terror Risk

Hungary’s central bank, already facing criticism for a spending spree ranging from real estate to fine art, is now beefing up its security force, citing Europe’s migrant crisis and potential bomb threats among the reasons.

The National Bank of Hungary bought 200,000 rounds of live ammunition and 112 handguns for its security company, according to documents posted on a website for public procurements.

That is enough ammunition to keep the gun club in a small Canadian town reasonably equipped for a long weekend of target practice and contests. In the U.S.A, that is the minimum, order for a small town walmart. If europe thinks that is going to stop anything, they best get a supply of slingshots to back them up.

I wonder how many muslims work in the European nuclear industry under the affirmative action rules, I wouldn’t be surprised if the head officials in the industry are muslims . In Australia they have the first muslim missile frigate captain now, and the press thinks she is just wonderful.

On the surface, the concept of misplaced compassion seems innocuous. – “Oh, how bad could it be? What is the worse that could happen? It’s just compassion, and compassion is good, after all”
So one would assume, misplaced compassion, not worthy of serious thought. Not something to worry about.

But what if people had misplaced compassion toward mass murderers?
What if people had misplaced compassion toward cannibals?
What if people had misplaced compassion toward serial rapists?
What if people had misplaced compassion toward religious people whose religion demands that they kill others (muslims)?
What if it one of the above has been actually going on for quite sometime?

Would the concept of misplaced compassion still seem not worthy of serious thought?

    • a6z

Be fair. I don’t know of any evidence that the invading Muslims are cannibals.

      • brad

        (Facepalm). Dumbo.

        • a6z

Our guest “brad” begs to differ. And to cast an animadversion. Apparently he is too busy, or too refined, or something, actually to cite evidence of cannibalism.

          • brad

You are too stupid to be able to understand it. I figured, why tax your pea-sized brain.

The comment is an attempt to explain that misplaced compassion toward danger, regardless of the kind, is dangerous.

Misplaced compassion toward murderers is dangerous.
Misplaced compassion toward cannibals is dangerous.
            AND LIKEWISE
Misplaced compassion toward muslims who believe in killing non-muslims for the sake of islam – is also dangerous.

And you, being extra bright and all, understood it as muslims are cannibals. Hence – Facepalm.

            Sigh…

  • Rocinante44

quit worrying, it’s going to happen. let’s just hope that most of the victims are the ones that think muslim immigration is a good thing

  • Honkingeese Watchgoose lll

The threat just keeps getting worse and the disconnect wider, I despair.

Don’t you feel safe with Politicians leading the circus? Our Politicians would sell out the entire world for their personal enrichment or to achieve more power over those that they are supposed to be serving.
To defeat such terrorist acts will require that everyone take personal responsibility seriously, whether a low level worker or the CEO in companies that possess dangerous materials.

  • NYgal

There is no other way to put it but Islam is an ultimate evil force. There might be nice and decent Muslims here and there, but in totality one fact is crustal clear, Islam doesn’t build, it only destroys. There is no act evil enough for Muslims to accept and whitewash.
