California shooter may have considered an attack in 2011: source,” Reuters, December 9, 2015

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Syed Rizwan Farook, one of the shooters who killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California, last week may have contemplated an attack on a U.S. target as early as 2011 or 2012, a U.S. government source familiar with the investigation said on Wednesday.

Investigators are also looking into whether Farook had asked his neighbor, Enrique Marquez, to purchase guns on his behalf in 2011 and 2012 to avoid calling attention to himself, the source said.

The source said the probe is also examining whether there were irregularities in how Farook’s wife and co-shooter Tashfeen Malik obtained her visa to enter the United States as his fiancée.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley alluded to potential problems with her visa at a congressional hearing on Wednesday. “Our government apparently didn’t catch the false address in Pakistan that she listed on her application,” Grassley said.

All of a sudden there are flaws int he system, who ever would have thought that? For the amount of government that is paid for, it should be a lot better.

May I offer a small disagreement here? I love Atlas Shrugs and think Pamela Geller is one of the bravest women in America but every time I see the word Jihad and/or Jihadi used in a headline or in a story I think it just isn’t understood by many people. We know there are lots of low information voters out there so I like to keep things as simple as possible. I always use the word Muslim when I identify Islamic terrorists. We all know the truth in the cliche about the difference between a Moderate Muslim and a Radical Muslim: to wit, the Radical Muslim wants to behead you and the Moderate Muslim wants the Radical Muslim to behead you. And we all know the high polling percentages of Muslims who express support for terrorism, so I think using Muslim in place of Jihadi is appropriate. Just my humble opinion.

Unfortunately, the San Bernardino massacre could have been worst in 2012. they were planning for something big with all the munition. This was an emotional evil attack and could have been much worst.
