It’s time to monitor the mosques and shut those that are behind jihad attacks.

“The Mosques Behind Jihad Attacks in America,”

“Dr. Sheikh said that he showed no signs of extremism. He said the family regularly worshiped at the mosque,” the NYT reported.
What is being taught at that mosque? Are investigators simply going to assume that the mosque is “moderate” and that Abdulazeez was “radicalized” elsewhere? If that is true, why couldn’t the peaceful teachings he heard at the mosque withstand the appeal of the “radicals”?
This mosque should be investigated. And it is not the only one. All the mosques linked to jihad attacks and plots should be investigated.
The Islamic Society of Boston, which the Boston Marathon bombers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, attended has numerous connections to jihad terrorists. The Islamic Society of Boston was founded by Abdulrahman Alamoudi, the leading “moderate Muslim” in Washington throughout the 1990s. Alamoudi turned out to be an al-Qaeda financier and is now in prison. Alamoudi was also a close associate and financier of Republican power broker Grover Norquist. Convicted jihad terrorists Aafia Siddiqui and Tarek Mehanna had also been members of the Islamic Society of Boston.
The former imam of the Islamic Society of Boston, Suhaib Webb, is revered in the mainstream media as a “moderate,” but he has actually denounced secularism as a “radical lunatic ideology.” Webb also once headed up a fund-raiser for a cop killer with arch-terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki. That didn’t stop the Boston Globe from running a piece several days ago titled “Inclusive spirit reassures Muslims after bombings,” as if Muslims had been the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing, not its perpetrators.
This was the same mosque about which Fox News reported after the bombing “has a controversial history, with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, terror funding and frequent fiery sermons.” USA Today added, “Its sister mosque in Boston, known as the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, has invited guests who have defended terrorism suspects. A former trustee appears in a series of videos in which he advocates treating gays as criminals, says husbands should sometimes beat their wives and calls on Allah (God) to kill Zionists and Jews.”
And now Usaama Rahim, who plotted to murder me in June for violating sharia blasphemy laws, is yet another Jihadist in Boston with ties to the Islamic Society of Boston, just like the Tsarnaev brothers and numerous other Muslim terrorists. Usaama Rahim worked as a guard at the Islamic Society of Boston.
Then there is the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City (ISGOC), which first denied knowing or being familiar with Jah’Keem Yisrael, aka Alton Nolen, who faces trial for the beheading of one of his coworkers in Oklahoma in September 2014. When pictures emerged of Jah’keem praying at the mosque on his Facebook page, their story radically changed. The media seamlessly reported the morphing narrative without question. The Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City went into full damage-control and victimhood mode. Their response to the beheading? Leaders of the ISOGC wanted security protection from the phantom “Islamophobia” and the “backlash” that never happens.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Nolen was a regular at Friday prayers at Masjid An-Nasr, a mosque in Oklahoma City that is part of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City. Saad Mohammed, director of Islamic information at the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, said: “There was nothing about him that alarmed us at all.”
And the jihadis who tried to commit mass murder last May at our free speech event in Garland, Texas, Ibrahim (formerly Elton) Simpson and Nadir Soofi, were members of the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix. Simpson’s friend Courtney Lonergan remembers, according to the Arizona Republic, that “Simpson would never waver from the teachings he picked up in the mosque and elsewhere.” Lonergan said: “He was one of those guys who would sleep at the mosque. The fact that he felt personally insulted by somebody drawing a picture had to come from the ideological rhetoric coming out of the mosque.”
According to the Republic, “When he sought a Muslim wife, Simpson turned to the men in the mosque to find a suitable woman, and his way of earning their respect was to show his devotion to Islam by quoting teachings verbatim.”
Contradicting mosque claims after his jihad attack that he was not a member, Simpson had been featured in a mosque fundraising video posted on the mosque’s YouTube channel in 2012. It identified him as a member.
Two other Muslims who attended the ICCP — Hassan Abu-Jihaad and Derrick Shareef — are in federal prison on jihad terror charges.
Yet the imam to the jihadis claimed that he was shocked by Simpson and Soofi’s jihad attack — that they were gentle fellows. Are we supposed to believe that they learned peaceful Islam at the mosque but were “radicalized on the Internet”?
Again, why aren’t the supposedly peaceful teachings of Islam that are supposedly taught at American mosques not able to withstand the jihadis’ appeal?
The FBI should be surveilling this mosque, impounding their phone records. Was anyone from the mosque in contact with Muslim groups in Garland? Was there any communication between Phoenix and Garland?
These mosques and others ought to be investigated. Several surveys have shown that 80% of mosques in the U.S. teach hatred of infidels and the necessity to replace the Constitution with sharia. No one cares. How many “homegrown domestic terrorists” must there be before the mosques are monitored?
There have been over 26,000 deadly Islamic attacks since 9/11 — each one with a mosque behind it and the imprimatur of a Muslim cleric, and what are we doing to monitor these hotbeds of jihad activity?
The media darlings over at the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) made a statement condemning the “deadly attack in Chattanooga, Tenn.” And the media was broadcasting it all over the news, never mentioning that CAIR was an unindicted co-conspirator in America’s largest terror funding case, or that the United Arab Emirates designated them a terrorist organization. CAIR’s statement is deception. Do they condemn the ideology? Do they condemn jihad? And while Muslims in the US condemn the Islamic State, where are they teaching against the ideology that gave rise to it?
Groups such as CAIR have called for and celebrated the dismantling of counter-terror programs that monitor the mosques. Is it mere coincidence between the dismantling of these counter-terror programs and the rise of jihad in America?
Right now, nothing is being done to stop jihad recruiting in U.S. mosques, even as several hundred young Muslims from the US have gone to wage jihad for the Islamic State.
What radicalized Muhammad Abdulazeez? The Quran. If the moderates really reject extremism, let them show it by instituting genuine programs to reject the violent teachings in Islam. And to make sure they do it, monitor the mosques.
How many more Americans must die in this “holy war” before we start to defend ourselves, our nation, our very way of life?

it is extremely distressing to hear that people in the upper echelon of national security can be so ignorant about names , languages and religion…even my dog knows that mohammad yousef abdulazis is a musim name …..it literally means mohammad joseph slave of azeez(allah) , how more musim can the name be ?
What really horrifies many people who knows the true nature of islam is that america has no strategy to counter islam. We even refuse to identify that the root cause of terrorism is islam ( not alQaeda, AlShabab, not even the taliban or ISIS ) ..but plain old islam.
Let me tell you this , everyone outside of america knows exactly whre the jihad and shariah doctrine comes from ie Islam…how is it that americans can be so stupid and totally ignorant to the point that they forebid their military to even juxtapose islam and terror in the same sentence ( well let me correct myself, I should say why do we elect officials and political elites that are stupid to not even recognize the real enemy sitting in front of them guised as a religion ?) . DId not Sun Tzu the wise ancient cninese military strategist teach in his book ‘ the art of war’ , that if you do not identify the enemy , then you cannot defeat the enemy and you will lose the battle.
Islam is not a real religion, it is a politico-military form of fascism guised as a religion and that is why it gets the protection afforded other bona fide spiritual based religion .The mosque is the center of dissemination of the shariah and jihad doctrine , the koran is a manual of terror, the imams who are versed in shariah are de facto field generals, and the mosque is a defacto mini emirate. Muslims or mookmins/believers are really defacto soldiers of allah . I grant that not every muslim acts out the military directive of islam, but the more devout they become ie the more they buy into the politicao-military doctrines of this relilgion the more they become like alQaeda or ISIS.
Incidentally ISIS is the pure unadulterated form of Islam imitating exactly what mohammad did and did not do. The so called ‘moderate’ muslims are really practising a watered down version or ISLAM-LITE…THE MORE DEVOUT THEY BECOME, THE MORE THEY MORPH INTO ISIS …why in heaven’s name would anyone want to be assoicated with a religion which when practised in its full undiluted roginal form gives you ISIS and the Taliban ?
EVERY AMERICAN NOW IN ALL TOWNS AND CITIES MUST WRITE LETTERS TO THE EDITIORS OF LOCAL AND STATE AND NATIONAL NEWSMEDIA AND MAGAZINES AND ONLINE PUBLICATIONS DEMANDING THAT THE MOSUES AND MUSLIMS LIVING AMONG THEM CATEGROICALLY DECLARE BEYOND A SHADOW OF DOUBT THAT THE REJECT THE FOLLOWING DOCTRINES ( WHICH by the way are common beliefs held by all schools of islam and are valid doctrines in all so called moderate mosques ). The time has come to define Radical Islam. Please ask your local mosque, Islamic Shool, and Islamic organization to clearly, unambiguously and publically denounce the following concepts:
Apostates killing
Beating women and stoning women to death for adultery
Calling Jews pigs and monkeys.
Declaring war on Non Muslims to spread Islam after offering Non Muslims three options – subjugate to Islam, pay Jizia (a humiliating tax), or be killed.
Enslavement of Other Human Beings.
Fighting and killing Jews before the “End of Days”.
Gay killing.
A true moderate person or organization must be able to immediately denounce the above concepts and stand publicly and unambiguously against them.
The Muslim world must not expect the world to call Islam peaceful as long as they teach and promote the above teaching.
A clear stand is needed from leading Islamic Scholars all iover the world against the above ABCs.

yes..i agree with you , there may be moderate muslims, but islam itself is far from moderate . this hideous theocratic form of nazism has murdered 590 to 600 million people over the centuries and yet we allow them to build thousands of mosques , muslim student assoc., and islamic centers all over the US of A …we must be pretty suicidal

So, there are 11 mosques in my city. Does anyone have any suggestions about the best way to keep an eye on them all? It isn’t like I can walk into one so what can I observe from the outside that may indicate Jihadist activity?

A person that depends on the government to keep them safe is bound to be disappointed.
The FBI has resources that can do things on the inside that I can’t, but part of my job is driving around the city. It isn’t hard for me to drive by most of the mosques in town. I work with law enforcement but I can’t be more specific. Judging from the activity, friday is their big day, more specifically, friday night. I’m learning what their “normal routine” is but I’m also looking for pointers from someone with more specific knowledge than I have. Naturally, observing weapons would set of alarm bells.

If true, this is interesting because the Nashville Islamic Center already unleashed one terrorist back in 2009 – Carlos Bledsoe AKA Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad – who murdered an American soldier and wounded another at a recruiting center in Little Rock. Remember that? Same dude also attempted to kill two different Rabbis prior to shooting the soldiers.

They surely are not learning about salvation through forgiveness and love or repairing the world’s injustice to bring heaven to earth. They are learning intolerance and superiority, fear and submission to Allah. That’s what I have against Islam as a religion. That means that if you take religion seriously as a traditional Muslim you are obligated to adopt a negative attitude towards Jews and Christians. Of course devout Muslims will oppose US support for Israel no matter what Israel does. Why we need more of that and the potential for violent jihad in the US is beyond me.

Pamela, I believe that we are all losing site of the “trees from the forest.” What we fail to see is that the teaching and belief system that underlies all that is Islamic, wrongly extolls the SUPERIORITY of their belief system above all others. That factor stimulates the belief that only Islam is the true religion. They promise to their brethren martyrdom and afterlife gratuities if they adopt Jihad (warlike conduct to terminate all other belief systems). They extort the conduct of the Caliphate as proof that they are the true religion, which, in turn, is a draw for the fighters they need to conduct their war like and heinous conduct. A number of things must happen. First we need to monitor the Mosques, to determine whether they are pushing Jihad and Sharia above our system of Justice and our Constitution. Freedom of religion does NOT allow for conduct which is sedition (incitement of insurrection), and that is what such teaching is. It can, and should be stopped, without concern that we are violating some freedom of religion. Those who preach sedition have no protection under our Constitution. Finally, we need to actively engage the enemy (ISIS) and defeat them completely. The affect of that will act to categorize Islam as not being a winner, and in my opinion causing the “want to be” Jihadist to rethink their belief systems guarantee of afterlife gifts, hopefully cutting off their wanting to place themselves in mortal danger without any hope that they will be gifted in their death., Doing these things makes sense to me, and should be the strategy of our leadership.

The article almost entirely uses the hyphenated term ‘jihad-terror’/ ‘jihad-terrorist’ which is not only superfluous but down right silly apart from being politically correct.
The term terrorist/ terrorism are secular words for it suggests the creation of fear for any cause with no linkage to the commands of a diety. However when people terrorize others because they believe that their fight is sanctioned by their god and they are doing it for his greater glory as also for their greatest desire to get perpetual virgins and everlasting erections then they are not doing terrorism but jihad and they are Jihadi (Technically, Mujahideen if you insist).
Jihad & Mujahideen are the correct Arabic terms used by the cult of submission, destruction and death. So let us call them by the name they use to describe themselves – jihadi or more accurately Mujahideen.

It seems simple enough for a reporter to ask of CAIR and other representatives “what are you doing to counter extremism?” and “Show us the curriculum that is being taught?” Or, “What does ‘peace’ mean in Islam?”
It is very simple. “Peace” for Islam, means the whole world has submitted to Islam. Anyone who does not submit gets what he deserves (e.g. hacked to death, etc.) and this has nothing to do with “peace” since it is the will of Allah.

There are 11 mosques in my city. Does anyone have any suggestions about the best way to keep an eye on them all? It isn’t like I can walk into one so what can I observe from the outside that may indicate Jihadist activity?

Specifically, Jihad extremism. I do believe the jihadists are expecting for the US government to concentrate forces on looking for the “lone wolf” while planning coordinated attacks. I also think that as most evil originates and comes out of their gathering places. This is where a coordinated attack will come from. I will let the experts look at facebook, etc. I do not have the time or resources for that. I want to concentrate on the movement of people, arms, etc. around the mosques themselves.
