Here’s why “hate speech” laws are so arbitrary and dangerous. Today a Muslim man convicted of threatening FBI agents who were conducting a terror investigation was released from custody and his sentencing was postponed, as a federal judge weighed whether a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision would affect the case. “This is one of the most confusing cases I’ve ever referenced in court,” Chief U.S. District Judge Michael Davis said.
Here’s what happened: two FBI agents and a language interpreter went to Omar’s house to interview a member of his family.
Prosecutors say that when the agents and interpreter arrived, Omar opened the door and told the agents that he had a “permit to carry, and if they came back, he would get them.”
Omar also told the agents that they “knew his history.” FBI agents understood Omar to mean that he would shoot them if they returned to his house…. keep reading here.
Mohamed Ali Omar was convicted in March after authorities say he threatened two FBI agents and an interpreter with violence when they went to his house last fall to question the family about his brother, who’s accused of attempting to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State group. (more here)

Omar threatened FBI agents who went to Omar’s house last November after one of his brothers, Guled Ali Omar, tried to board a plane to San Diego with his U.S. passport and no luggage. Another brother had already left Minnesota to join al-Shabab in 2007 and remains a fugitive, and authorities believed Guled Omar was trying to get to Syria.
He’s out – -despite his conviction. An Iowa resident posted this comment about the Boston mosque behind the Boston bombings, the jihadi who plotted to behead me but went after cops instead: “Mohamed was a child rapist .a murderer and molester.you all will go to hell with you’re father satan..we will destroy you here and in your’re s**t hole countrys.”

ISB was founded by Abdurahman Alamoudi, a supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah who is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence on terrorism charges.
FBI surveillance documents show that two days before the 9/11/2001 terrorist attacks, Suhaib Webb, Imam of ISB’s Boston mosque, joined al-Qaeda operative Anwar Awlaki in headlining a fundraiser on behalf of the Atlanta-based Muslim extremist Jamil al-Amin (formerly H. Rap Brown), who had recently murdered two police officers in Georgia.
And there are a whole lot of terror convicts with ISB ties.
Aafia Siddiqui, who occasionally prayed at ISB’s Cambridge mosque, was arrested in Afghanistan in 2008 while in possession of cyanide canisters and plans to carry out a chemical attack in New York City. Siddiqui subsequently tried to gun down some U.S. military officers and FBI agents, and is now serving an 86-year prison sentence for that offense.
Tarek Mehanna, who worshipped at ISB’s Cambridge mosque, received terrorist training in Yemen and plotted to use automatic weapons to inflict mass casualties in a suburban shopping mall just outside of Boston. In 2012 he was sentenced to 17 years in prison for conspiring to aid al Qaeda.
Jamal Badawi, a former trustee of the Islamic Society of Boston Trust (which owns both ISB mosques), was named as an un-indicted co-conspirator in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation terrorism trial that investigated illegal fundraising efforts which had been made in behalf of Hamas.(….keep reading)
Instead of going after the mosque, the FBI went after this inarticulate shnook who shot his mouth off. His comments are ugly but not criminal.
This is clearly meant to put a chill on speech in accordance with the sharia.

“Iowa Man Arrested for Making Threats Targeting Boston-Based Islamic Cultural Center,” FBI.gov, June 9, 2015BOSTON— [Iowa resident] Gerald Wayne Ledford, 57, of Clinton, Iowa, was charged in a criminal complaint with transmitting in interstate or foreign commerce a communication containing a threat to injure the person of another. The complaint was filed on June 1, and was unsealed today following Ledford’s arrest in Clinton, Iowa. He is expected to have his initial appearance today in Iowa, and to appear again in Boston on June 24, 2015 at 2:15 p.m.
The complaint alleges that on Oct.19, 2014, Ledford threatened the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC), a cultural center that offers a mosque and a variety of educational, spiritual, and social services to Muslims in New England. The complaint alleges that Ledford posted two threats on the ISBCC’s Facebook page. One post threatened, “Mohamed was a child rapist .a murderer and molester.you all will go to hell with you’re father satan..we will destroy you here and in your’re s**t hole countrys.” The second post consisted of a photograph of a man bearing a long gun with the caption, “This is for you.followers of the piece of s**t Mohamed …” The complaint further alleges that Ledford intended these posts to threaten the ISBCC and its members and that they were actually interpreted that way.
Although the complaint alleges that the charged threats were posted on the Facebook page of the ISBCC as the intended target, the complaint also alleges that Ledford’s own Facebook page contains additional relevant posts. For example, on or about Oct. 22, 2014, apparently reacting to news reports of shootings by a recent convert to Islam in Canada, Ledford allegedly posted, “Why can’t the American and Canadian gov’s just admit that a person with Islamic tendencies be called a Islamic terrorist!!” In another example, on Feb. 13, 2015, apparently reacting to news reports about the murder of three Muslim students of the University of North Carolina, Ledford allegedly posted, “Wow a white man kills three islamists and it’s a hate crime?Good job brother! [aggressive emoticon] Now we only have to take 999999 more of there innocent people!!! An eye for a eye,!!!”
The charging statute provides a sentence of no greater than five years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000. Actual sentences for federal crimes are typically less than the maximum penalties. Sentences are imposed by a federal district court judge based upon the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
United States Attorney Carmen M. Ortiz and Vincent B. Lisi, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Boston Field Division, made the announcement today. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys S. Theodore Merritt and Scott L. Garland of Ortiz’s Civil Rights Enforcement Team.
The details contained in the criminal complaint are allegations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

Part of the arbitrary nature appears to be the interpretation of the recipient. Though many Muslims seem eager to be offended, this could get interesting really fast. It could backfire. Islam seems to have gained and kept its traction based on what amounts to death threats on entering or exiting the religion. That threat will have to go. Choudary, if in America would have to stop his threats. As I recall, he recently claimed on Hannity that a prominent opponent should be taken to a sharia court to face possible death (murder) for pretty basic free speech. That threat will have to go too.

Everything said about Mohammed is undeniable truth, but threats are meat and drink to leftards and the Islamophobe industry so don’t make threats if you’re not a muslim, of course for muslims the rules are different.The singer Yusuf Islam ( formerly Cat Stevens ) said on tv in uk ( the video is on youtube ) that if he could he would apprehend Salman Rushdie and hand him over for execution, so we can look forward to Cat Stevens being arrested in the states at some point can we ?

What can we expect? We have become a cringing, cowardly nation. Our president, congressmen/women, senators, supreme court justices etc are all cowards. They kiss Muslim asses as a way of life while most Americans are willing to accept this as normal. Until we demand that our leaders adhere to the constitution and demand that those we send to Washington serve us instead of the $ we can only slip down hill like a pig on a greased side.
