UNEDITED: Raw footage of REUTERS interview with Pamela Geller on Muhammad Bus Campaign

95

Reuters interviewed me for a story on the new AFDI free speech campaign featuring the winning Muhammad drawing in our art submission contest held in Garland, Texas, where jihadists tried to massacre all of us.

I covertly videoed the whole thing, so that people can see what was said, and then what they publish. The media’s editing and framing of these stories is reckless, irresponsible and sharia-compliant.

Screen Shot 2015-05-28 at 8.27.44 PM

Story continues below advertisement

If you recall, AP did a hit piece on me featuring a similar interview (which they never ran). I audio-taped that interview, but the device failed to work. I was crestfallen. Because if people saw that interview and what AP actually ran, it would have been devastating to AP’s credibility.

This time, the device worked. Here is my 9:42 minute interview, filmed at 10 am this morning with Reuters reporter Jennifer Atkinson.

And here is what they ran.

“Washington subway bans ‘issue’ ads after request to run Mohammad cartoon” Reporting by Jennifer Atkinson and Ellen Wulfhorst in New York; Editing by Mohammad Zargham, Reuters, Thu May 28, 2015 6:41pm EDT

The Washington transit system on Thursday suspended all “issue-oriented” advertising after being asked to run a subway ad featuring a cartoon depiction of the Prophet Mohammad.

The ban, approved unanimously by the board of directors of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, prohibits political, religious and advocacy ads through the end of the year, a spokesman said.

The transit system had been asked by the American Freedom Defense Initiative to display the cartoon that won first prize at an event in Texas this month at which two gunmen opened fire near the venue and wounded a security guard before they were shot and killed by police.

The ad, which calls for Americans to support free speech, features a bearded, turban-wearing Mohammad waving a sword and shouting: “You can’t draw me!”

In reply, a cartoon bubble portrays an artist grasping a pencil and saying: “That’s why I draw you.”

All visual depictions of the prophet of Islam are considered sacrilegious by many Muslims.

Pamela Geller, founder of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, described the cartoon as “political opinion.”

“There is nothing violent in that cartoon,” she said in an interview on Thursday. “If there is a group you cannot criticize … it’s the tyranny of that group.”

The Washington decision follows a vote in April by New York’s Metropolitan Transit Authority to ban all political ads after losing a court battle with the group over an ad that read: “Hamas Kills Jews.”

The group, which is on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s annual list of U.S. hate groups, has run controversial ads on subways and buses in Chicago, Philadelphia and San Francisco, and it ran an ad on Washington’s Metro in 2012.

The cartoon ad did not come up during the board meeting on Thursday when the vote was taken, according to spokesman Dan Stessel.

Nihad Awad, head of the Council on American Islamic Relations, said Geller and the American Freedom Defense Initiative were trying to turn the public against American Muslims.

“They are using their free speech to propagate misconception and to divide people along ethnic or religious lines,” he said. “It is up to the Metro authorities to deal with these hateful groups.”

Every story on AFDI says the Southern Poverty Law Center lists AFDI on its annual list of U.S. hate groups, but never includes that the FBI stopped working with SPLC because of their close relationship with terror groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and HAMAS. Essentially, the FBI unofficially considers SPLC a terror group affiliate.

I don’t know how these things are usually done but why was Ms. Geller made to stand for this interview?
I think it was most disrespectful.
Reuters presentation was par for the course and exactly what the NMEdia has been peddling.
That the media still looks to cair for comment is shameful.
Ms. Geller, thanks for continuing, despite all these obstacles and dhimmi ingrates, in your thankless task of education.

Notice also, the interviewer obviously had no intention of sharing camera time with Pamela….the pipsqueek cowardly JV journo is observed standing to the side in un-starched/unprofessional casual apparel, Unprepared to address any concerns directly, in real time & on camera, it’s obvious the intent was to mold/choreograph/edit any useful clip to suit the established narrative from the get go.

Leftist dhimmi Reuters scrubs a 10 minute Pam Gellar reasoned interview
and instead runs a promotion for the “prophet of Islam” and CAIR and

She scares the bejeezus out of MSM.

3 most common forms of deligitimization used:

1. False Equivalency (Religious) – Chrisitians did this bla bla bla

2. False Equivalency (Issue) – Yelling fire in theater , Yelling racist epithet at someone

3. Ad Hominem – She is considered a hate mongerer by CAIR and SPLC.

They have to resort to these cookie cutter attacks because they cannot win a debate on merit with her. Bravo Pam

Their #1 critical thinking logical fallacy is the Argumentum Tu Quoque:

“Islam isn’t an evil crime because we (i.e: you) all do or did it, too!”

As if by merely comparing two unrelated wrongs they could somehow magically transform one of them into a right!

Most little kids don’t fall for that one, but liberals see it as holy dogma!

Honest Citizen
Honest Citizen

Reply to  paendragon

Exactly.
Since they have no real argument to counter islamic realist in the end they always try to steer the debate to logical fallacies.

At the first sign of this they need to be called out.
Saying “We are not talking about christians during the crusades. We are talking about islam. If you want to talk about x,y,z there are other places to do that.” Islam is doing x,y,z and I am here to talk about that.

Not worth debating merits of false moral equivalency. But once their fallacy is stated bringing conversation back to islamorealism puts the onus on them to get back on topic.

In fact there was quite a brouhaha about the Chris Ofili painting of the Virgin Mary, with the mayor of NYC, Guiliani, threatening to end the funding of the Brooklyn Museum unless they removed the painting. The case went to court and the city lost. The painting was attacked physically twice and was even damaged by an irate Catholic. However no one’s lives were threatened and the fight was clearly over the 1st amendment. “Museum guards protecting the painting were quoted as saying: “It’s not the Virgin Mary. It’s a painting.”

What’s interesting in contrast is that with the cartoon contest there is no traction for the issue of the 1st Amendment, despite all the interviews Pamela has given explaining this.

A couple of other points: There were hundreds of entries in the cartoon contest, many were actually offensive depictions of Mohammed, yet both the judges and the public voting chose the least offensive image as the winner. I myself choose the cartoon of “Jihadi Appleseed” which was much more politically provocative.
The whole intention of the contest clearly was not to be insulting but to defend freedom of speech. Furthermore regarding the depiction of Mohammed, there has been a representation of Mohammed in the Supreme Court building since 1935. Are we going to remove that as well since Muslims might be offended and become violent? CAIR attempted to have it removed back in 1997, while other Muslim scholars have defended the depiction. Rehnquist turned down the request. http://www.newsweek.com/how-ban-images-muhammad-came-be-300491

Pamela should have pointed out that under the Federal Constitutional law, there is no such thing as a “hate-crime”. A “hate-crime” is just an attempt to restrict Free Speech for a “good” cause that in the end takes away freedoms.

I think she did well in asking who thinks it is a hate crime.

It is a sharia restriction that images of mohamed are not to be shown. If you are not a muslim then there is no reason for you to consider it offensive. Freedom of religion means I am not required to follow the tenants of your religion. I do not submit to sharia. There is no reason for me to find it offensive. If you are not muslim there is no reason to find it offensive. We have images mocking ALL other religious leaders all over the world by everyone. Muslims do not get to impose their religious beliefs on us.

“Prophet” Muhammad’s Shariamonster, also known as “Islam,” wants to decapitate our freedom of speech. Muhammad himself had his critics murdered – and Muhammad’s Shariamonster still follows his barbarous “Excellent Example.” Will Americans stand with the Founding Fathers, who wrote the Bill of Rights for the Land of the Free – or will we stand with the vile “Prophet” Muhammad’s vile Shariamonster which brings oppression and violence wherever it goes? Let’s stand with the Founding Fathers – and not with the cowardly idiots who would have us discard our most precious freedom.

Absolutely Pam. Will there be violence? Maybe. What does that mean? It means law-enforcement will have to step up – with the support of the community and do what they are paid and trained to do – uphold the law. That’s the point. As you so succinctly put, “the media will have to adjust”. There is no cowering, or retreating or trepidation in the face of of threats to our basic liberties – freedom of expression being a cornerstone. End of story! Inspired originally by the turncoat/criminally insane Charles Johnson, here is an adaptation of Emma Lazarus’ famous work in tribute to their subversion:

Unlike the brazen giant of Greek fame,

With conquering limbs astride from land to land;

Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates did stand

A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame

was the imprisoned lightning, her name now

Mother of Infidels. From her amputated hand once

Glowed world-wide welcome; her mild eyes

above and below by black cloth framed.

“Keep ancient lands, your sympathy!” cries she

With silent lips. “Keep your tired, your poor,

I’ve got huddled masses breathing shari’a;

The wretched refuse of my teeming shore

Did nothing while the mujahideen, Tempter-tost to me,

Lifted my head beside the golden door!”

That is exactly the point and a good one that I didn’t think about. It’s subcutaneous…below the skin, making you subconsciously acknowledge their status as American. But the philosophy of Islam is that their God supersedes America and thereby negates American Laws And Values. Whereas, in Christianity, It’s the render unto Caesar concept of side stepping conflict with the State. In Islam Allah supersedes the State and It’s Laws. That is why islam should be removed from America permanently. There isn’t any middle ground there. By the same logic, Two Congressional Representatives were sworn in holding the Quran which represents Sharia Law and those values are not Constitutional Values. Therefore the swearing in is an act of sedition and both Muslim Congressmen should be removed from office.

The problem of free speech is a real problem. I’ll give you an example. I was threatened by Chicago Police who told me I could not repost any of the threats sent to me and other people by this mentally ill person with a gun in their mouth. I’m supposed to just let this person attack me and others simply because they have a mental illness. I’m supposed to be sympathetic and if I do a story about it, then I’m harassing this person.

Here is the truth of the matter in that because someone is always hiding something when they try to squelch free speech.

This person dealt drugs on a large scale. I did the forensics of their computer for the Drug Enforcement Administration. We are not talking pot, we are talking bath salts and another synthetic drug called flakka. I have the email evidence. The person they sold to was the son of former Mayoral Candidate Jesus Garcia.

Anyway, if you are in any way concerned this person has said they are going to board a plane with plastic gun parts, feel free to send this to your local FBI because they Chicago police won’t do anything. Also feel free to send this to your Republican congressperson and ask them to investigate how this administration has corrupted the Federal government.

Pam, just viewed your interview with Rueters. Brilliant! You are in the right 100%. These news orgs are just scared that they will be the next target by letting the real interview go out. Funny how the press that’s always claiming freedom of speech and freedom of the press turn face and run when they think there is a possibility of violence against their org if they report what they deem (but won’t admit to) being offensive. It also doesn’t help when you have what I believe to be a Muslim editor on the interview that you had which decided to not edit out the ENTIRE video interview and post some pieces of text (probably taken out of context as well) of the interview and which of course made Rueters look like they were on the side of Islam on this issue.
Amazing how in this day and age that people running around the desert 1000’s of miles away from this great country (that would be America in case some of you out there are confused) are making news orgs and other companies shy away from the rights that were given to us 100’s of years ago! Our military is out there dying for these rights and Rueters seems to say…”Well we support our troops but we think that in some cases that we can’t and shouldn’t voice free speech even though it’s in our own constitution!) They are dying for our way of life among other things and Rueters disrespects our sons and daughters fighting here and abroad by their actions not just in this interview but in others they have reported on in the past as well. Simple pathetic on the part of Rueters. ALL of you should be ashamed of yourselves and your actions on this matter and any future situations that someone gives you the courtesy of allowing an interview. I know that I wouldn’t give an interview to Rueters based on what they did in this one if they were the only news org in the world! Thank God they’re not!

I adjusted it up as far as I could, both on my laptop and my cell phone and it still can’t be heard. I think some folks just won’t be able to hear it for whatever reason..,.

Unfortunately when you click on the link to “here is what they ran” you only get a commercial, with no sound, and not the video of the interview…..

Seems pretty clear to me… Sharia law condemns the drawing of a likeness of Mohamed. Freedom of speech, and freedom in general, gives you the right to draw whatever you wish. It seems that the American media, for the most part, is saying that we must honor Sharia law, while Pamela is saying that Sharia law holds no authority in American and bowing to this prohibition of drawing Mohamed is the beginning of the progression down the slippery slope of bowing to all Sharia directives.
Pamela is absolutely correct! This is America, Sharia is not part of our culture!
Let’s keep it that way!

They know what they are doing is bull , any thinking public knows its bull and yet it all flies because that is the only narrative allowed. And the left loves it. Those who think like us who see the truth in what Pamela Geller says are treated like lepers and heretics. It is quite frightening how made up those left minds are no matter the evidence they see every day.

Where do these reporters get off thinking they have the “rights” of the Inquisition? What a sanctimonious twit.

When someone calls a patriotic group a “hateful group” that is hate speech. It’s amazing that a hater like Nihad Awad can brand someone else as hateful and get that viewpoint printed by these yellow dog so called journalists. This only proves that the real haters are people like Nihad Awad and the CAIR organization. Pamela Geller should be in charge of our Dept. of Homeland Defense. They waste millions of dollars monitoring us while claiming to be looking for dangerous terrorists when all they need to do is start holding Draw Mohammed contests and the jihadis will expose themselves. Why look for them when we could just flush them out? Pamela just taught our leaders a lesson in homeland defense but they’re too politically correct stupid to pay attention. Thank you Pamela. Please never quit your good works… And one last thing you need to realize is there is no such thing as “moderate” Sharia Law and any muslim that supports Sharia Law cannot possibly be a “moderate” musim. There is nothing moderate about doing to other people what Sharia Law requires… And most of the muslims in the world do support Sharia Law. So the majority of muslims cannot possibly be considered moderate.

Reuters, Associated Press and the rest of PC Left media are trash with the rest of the politically correct Islamic toe sucking left media who wants to take all of our freedoms away so they can turn us all into the left dhimmized idiots they have become and make us to submit to them and eventually all of us to Islam the killing pigs of this age. I am so proud to hear her speak and I add to hear everyone here and on the net speaking up for the free world and free speech and for all the pitiful victims of the cowardly Islamist Killer Pigs slaughtering our neighbors in the world, and for all of you rejecting Islamist sharia Hell that they are both trying to force on us all Wow! This is so kewl… twenty and ten years ago and more when some of us were speaking out about the crimes they were committing and no one listened we were generally pooh poohed and attacked by the left …and while they still do this today, there are so many now that finally have voices and speak against evil Sharia hell and the Islamist agenda to slaughter us all…
This is incredible because people are speaking out everywhere and are afraid because they know the plans Islam has for the destruction of America and the free world and you are all speaking up and even seeing the Bikers who stood up for our freedoms to defend the cartoonist absolutely opened my eyes even more because I see we now have friends who have found their voices and are speaking up and defending the victims of terrorist Islamist slaughters all over the world and defending the victims of Hood TERRORIST KILLER (i put it in capitals to cry out to Obama who called it a work place incident making the victims guilty and the PIG KILLER Muslim who slaughtered and wounded innocent people shouting halla hackbar hell on earth…Wow! I am proud of everyone speaking up and rejecting the taping of our mouths and rights! God Bless Pamela Geller and everyone taking part in reclaiming our lands for a free world!!!!

he said. “It is up to the Metro authorities to deal with these hateful groups”

Well look how far they come. They gotten so smug they don’t even break a sweat any more. They just pick up the phone and call their buds at the FB! It must be nice having your own country, that’s the kind of service you can expect in your own country.

They devoted less space to Pamela’s interview – which was fact filled and clearly stated – than to Nihad Awad’s stock propaganda. I’m so glad she covertly taped the whole thing. Atkinson returned to her leftist pro Sharia script repeatedly, like a dog to its vomit.

I am now into my second 30 day Facebook ban for daring to say that I support free speech against lunatic Islam. Facebook admin has been infiltrated by islamists and the loony Left appeasers of lunatic Islam. They are anonymous and unaccountable, they cannot be challenged. This is what our world has come to……

So defending free speech makes you now a supporter of a “hate group”. Makes you wonder how many other bogus classification this “center” makes up every year

No, Mr Nihad Awad. Yopu should listen to what people say instead of spouting your own bit of hate speech. Pamela Geller is against jihad & shari’a, NOT muslims.

Pamela, you’re an American hero. You have bigger cojones than all of Congress combined.

Don’t stop fighting. You have the support of the SANE across America.

Reuters is lower than pig shit. And this is why islam has infiltrated so deep into America — the media promotes the idea that we should just all drop our pants and bend over for islam, and the idiots on the Left suck it all up.

And there are a lot of typos in the Rueters propaganda: it’s “the pedophile muhammad”, not prophet. What the hell did he ever prophesize?

That was straight out rude of Reuters to make you stand for the interview. Do they make moslems stand too? I doubt it, they roll out the red carpet and bow for islam.
