Friday night music open thread. Solea, Miles Davis. This is the soundtrack of life.

“Solea” (Sketches Of Spain, 1960)
The soundtrack to a movie that’s yet to be made, Miles’s foray into the Spanish interior includes stunning versions of classical composers Rodrigo’s “Concierto De Aranjuez” and Gil Evans’ “Solea”; the former is arguably the most successful jazz treatment of any European classical work, while the latter is simply one of the most beautiful things Miles ever recorded.
