I just want to take this moment to thank the courageous, singular voices who have stood up for me without making excuses or attacking my character (as did Bret Stephens in today’s pathetic piece, “In Defense of Pamela Geller”). They have understood the quintessentially American philosophy of freedom and individual rights. Kudos and thanks to Mychal Massie, Joan Swirsky, Matt Vespa, Daniel Greenfield, and so many others. (This week has been so crazy — no one whom I don’t mention should feel slighted. If you have other links, please send them to me and I will add them.)

Dear Pamela Geller, you are the one to whom the most gratefulness is owed. You are the one who relentlessly does your best to preserve and defend the most precious freedoms of all of us – including the freedoms of the shameless and cowardly idiots who repay you by trying to smear you. As Jesus used to say, “They will have their reward.” A typical person would have found this so exasperating, he would have given up years ago. But you are not typical – you are one in a million. Or, more precisely, you are one in a hundred and sixty million (at least).

Funny how ALL of the morons who bash Pam Geller all say “but”, when they say “I’m all for the freedom of speech”.
They say, “I’m all for freedom of speech….but we need to respect the crazy Jihadists”
Or, “I’m all for freedom of speech, but it’s not nice to offend the Islamic State terrorists. If you make fun of them, they have the right to cut off your head. So we need to make sure our “speech” does not offend them”

I am grateful for every soldier who has fought against jihadists, from the Crusades until now. I am grateful for every cop who has tracked them down and put them away. I am grateful that everyone survived the draw mohammad contest and look forward to the day when we can all draw the bastard without fear.

Hey Pam,
I love you, and I really think of you as a hero, but I think your criticism of Mr. Stephen’s piece is a bit extreme. It was not pathetic: he really DID come to your defense, he just didn’t go as far as you and I want. His words are helpful nonetheless, no doubt about that.
We should be grateful for all the good work Bret does in defense of Israel.

Yesterday, I asked my American History/Current Events class, “Have you seen the offensive cartoon?”
When they replied in the negative, I pulled up my blog on my iPad and showed them Bosch’s drawing.
My students’ reaction — through their giggles: “Is that all it is? Muslims need to get over themselves.”
I hasten to add that I can get away with doing this in the classroom because I teach classes of homeschoolers.

Yes!!! So happy you did this!!! Now those kids wont fall for the lie that Islam is a peaceful religion!! Looking at education since I was in school, even in college, it has gone downhill and is so Anti American. If I had kids now I would homeschool them, and when my daugher has children, I will strongly recommend she homeschool them. Its the only way to,protect our children from the goverment liberal propaganda.

Myself, Pam and Artie. Taken April 2013 in Mineola NY. ( One day before the Boston jihadist bombing). Standing with her in protest over yet another attempt to silence her in a synagogue in Great Neck. I stood with her then, I stand with her now and will do so in the future. It’s clear, it’s time to get on the right side of this issue.
