I endorse Cruz for 2016 — Ted Cruz on Jihad in Texas: “Thankfully one police officer helped them meet their virgins.”

I endorse Cruz for 2016. The media is going to try to use this against him. But they have been thoroughly discredited in the past week. They are aligned with our enemies.

Get behind Cruz. I know its early — but the truth is, it’s late in the fight. I have been considering this for some time and will write a more comprehensive post when time permits, but Cruz is the best candidate in the field. Bar none.

The conquered media is viciously enforcing the sharia in their attacks on me. But I believe it does more to expose them than damage our fight for freedom. My email box is crashing with emails of support — tens of thousands of letters.

The media has been outed. If we had a responsible media, they would report more of the positive developments in light of the terror attack. The jihadists were the end of the line. By drawing them out, we exposed their network. We were able to expose the network without getting anyone killed. The FBI are now going after the sources. They are gleaning intel from their computers as we speak. We smoked out a terror structure.

The FBI has put more American terror suspects under constant surveillance following the deadly attack. Every city across US had “subjects of concern.” The military is taking the threat seriously enough to raise the threat level to one of the highest levels it has reached since 911.

Get behind Cruz.

Texas shooting showed radical Islam’s ‘ugly face,’ Ted Cruz says

By Mark Hensch , The Hill, May 10, 2015

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Saturday said last weekend’s terrorist attack in his home state had made Americans more aware of the danger posed by extremist Muslims.

“We saw the ugly face of radical Islam in Garland, Texas, recently,” Cruz said of last Sunday’s shooting at a “Draw Muhammad” event there.

“Thankfully, one police officer helped those terrorists meet their virgins,” he quipped.

Phoenix residents and roommates Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi were the two gunmen shot during the attempted massacre.

Cruz, a 2016 GOP presidential candidate, argued Saturday that the pair and others like them were emboldened by President Obama’s softness on Islamic fanaticism.

“We can’t win a war against radical Islamic terrorism with a president who won’t utter the words ‘radical Islamic terrorism,’ ” he said.

“This nation is in crisis,” Cruz said. “If we don’t pull our country back from the brink, we risk losing the greatest country in the history of the world.”

Cruz vowed that if he were elected, he would unabashedly protect freedom of speech and other liberties.

“We must defend our constitutional rights – all of them,” he said.

New Attorney General Loretta Lynch on Friday said “all efforts were made” to warn the Texas police department over a likely attack at Garland’s “Draw Muhammad” event.

Simpson and Soofi were reportedly offended by the event’s content. Depicting Muhammad, Islam’s holiest prophet, is forbidden to Muslims.

The Obama administration on Tuesday ruled that the shooting was an “attempted terrorist attack.”

“There is no expression, however offensive, that justifies an act of terrorism even an act of violence,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said.

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has since claimed it inspired the Garland shooters.

White House officials have rejected that claim as a propaganda maneuver by the foreign terrorist organization.

Simpson and Soofi were more likely “lone wolf” extremists, they argued, rather than actual ISIS agents.

Conservative critics have argued the incident shows ISIS has finally infiltrated American shores because of the Obama’s administration’s poor counterterrorism strategies.

Pamela, Cruz wants to increase foreign work visas by 500% and give illegals work permits. Nonstarter for me. He also does NOT have Natural Born status. We must not usurp the presidency too. We must get back to the Natural Born requirement. We are in this mess because we ignored it the last time.

    • wildjew

We are in this mess because Americans elected a Muslim “born” president with deep sympathies for the world of Islam. I don’t care where Barack Hussein Obama was born.

      • Fromafar

Grandparents, Mother, Father, Frank MarshallDavis ( who actually may have been his Father?), Bill Ayers, Kahlid Rashidi and lots more.
All his family and mentors were Communists or friends of the Muslim Brotherhood……need we say more?

      • keyesforpres

That is ehy natural born is so important. He should have been removed from the ballot.

    • Richard

I’m with you on Natural Born. It’s what disqualifies Obama – not the forged birth certificate. Just because the BC is a bad forgery does not mean that he wasn’t born in Hawaii – albeit a bastard child. But his family decided to craft for him a nativity that claims as a father a British subject. The Supreme Court, not the Constitution, is the body that has defined Natural Born as born in-country to two citizen parents and willful ignorance of this fact has led to Obama’s reelection and the notion that Cruz and Jindal are in fact eligible to be president.
The left has exhausted itself obscuring the meaning of Natural Born against all rational arguments from the right. And now that we’ve suffered as we have from ignoring the constitutional requirements to be eligible to be POTUS, it is those on the right who will chose to ignore the Constitution in order to promote their champion.
Cruz would indeed make a good president. But, hint hint, Scott Walker IS Natural Born. As a conservative I support restoring the rule of law, and law has as its foundation the Constitution.

    • victoria_29

Wrong ….on several things. One Ted Cruz is natural born citizen. …. Two he does not want to give illegals work permits-he is very against amnesty…..Three it is quite obvious that you are a nut case by your silly name…..Four obviously you are very insecure no one objects to LEGAL aliens….but insecure nut cases.

      • keyesforpres

Legal immigration is too hidh. Cruz wants to increase work visas by 500 percent and he wants to give work permits to illegals. Instead of making an azz out of yourself….use a search engine.

  • Patti York

Ok my ears and mind are open. What has Cruz done? What is his public voting record? I am ashamed to say that I don’t know his voting record. I am aware of his filibustering, what did that accomplish, someone, anyone ,,insight please?

    • AlfalfaDoLittle

Granted, he is a Junior Senator.
      Just like Obama was……….

      • Covadonga

Before being a junior Senator, he was the longest-serving Solicitor General in Texan history, successfully arguing cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. These included the landmark Heller case, in which he “assembled a coalition of 31 states in defense of the principle that the 2nd Amendment guarantees an individual right to keep and bear arms”.

He had served as a law clerk for SCOTUS Chief Justice William Rehnquist.

It’s not a light-weight resume, as is that of someone in high office that we know.

        • Patti York

I started looking his voting record up, but got interrupted. He voted FOR the keystone xl pipeline, still need to know more to discern whether or not he walks ALL of his talk,

          • Covadonga

            >”He voted FOR the keystone xl pipeline”

I would call that a good thing. We need the energy independence from the MidEast, as well as the jobs.

          • Patti York

I call it a good thing too. Just need to know if he is consistent.

          • victoria_29

Yes Patti York- Ted WALKS what he talks and always has reasons progressives both Republican and Democrat detest him. He means what he says and says what he means. Since we Texans elected him he has done EXACTLY to the letter what he promised us he would do if we elected him.

        • AlfalfaDoLittle

          I know that.
I was being sarcastic about Obama.

    • beth gimel

Cruz just voted in favor of the Corker bill which allows Obama to give Iran nuclear weapons. The Corker bill turns the Constitution on its ear. It states that Congress would need a two-thirds majority in both houses to override Obama’s Iran deal. Under the treaty provision of the Constitution, Obama would have needed two-thirds to approve.

It’s an unfathomable decision on Cruz’ part; he was well aware that the bill, as promoted by the media, was deceptive and yet he didn’t speak out about it and he ended up capitulating. Rubio and other so-called conservatives also caved. In fact, the vote was almost unanimous.

Listen to Mark Levin on this horrific bill, or listen to ‘secure freedom radio’ at centerforsecuritypolicy.com.

      • Patti York

This is what I am talking about. We absolutely can not have anymore people like this getting elected.

        • Pam Kellman

Actually, the vote in favor of the bill was unanimous, except for Tom Cotton. It’s incomprehensible to me. As Mark Levin said, Congress gave up the power of the purse, the impeachment option, and now its power over treaties – they might as well go home!

    • victoria_29

I am a Texan-he is my Senator and before that he was my Solicitor General-he has a great record and he does NOT bend to pressure.

  • lostlegends

Cruz is currently my first choice, but am open to others. We’ll see. Am half surprised Pamela endorses Cruz. BUt cool enough.

    • keyesforpres

Why does our side no longer care about the Natural Born requirement? You must be born in country to parents that are US citizens.
Heck, Cruz had Canadian citizenship. That disqualifies him along with the fact his father was Cuban at the time of his birth.
Our Founders looked to Vattel’s “Law of Nations” for the Natural Born definition (it was the only definition).

      • eskyman

Sadly, our Founders didn’t put Vattel’s definition of Natural Born into the Constitution.

Now, that ship has sailed. I just hope we still have a country at all after Obama; and Ted Cruz is the best hope we have for restoring our Republic.

        • keyesforpres

No he is not. He has no respect becsuse he put his name on the ballot. He also wants to give work permits to illegals and increase legal work visas by 500%!
Our Founders did not put definitions of anything in the Constitution. Everyone knew what it meant. We go by original intent….not ‘the ship has sailec cr@p’.

          • eskyman

I’d rather have someone who is 90% on my side elected than someone who’s 100% perfect but who will NEVER EVER get elected. Your mileage may vary.

How’s good old Alan doing in the polls, BTW?

          • keyesforpres

Oh give your snark a rest. My user name is from years ago.
Cruz would destroy this country with his increase in work visa status and he is not eligible.

      • Covadonga

Ted Cruz is a candidate for people like me who believe in the Constitution, because he takes it very seriously. And I likewise take it very seriously, including the natural born requirement.

Ted Cruz’s mother is impeccably a natural born American citizen, and, unlike Soebarkah’s mother at the time of hatching that creature, was fully an adult at the time of Ted Cruz’s birth.

The Senator was born in Alberta, Canada, while his mother was out of the country briefly, visiting her husband, an immigrant to the United States from Cuba, who was working temporarily in Canada at the time.

Going out of the country temporarily, on a vacation, short-term work assignment, or other visit, does not nullify your ability to transmit American citizenship to any offspring born on such a trip. She applied for, and was granted, U.S. citizenship papers for her newborn son from the American consulate on that trip, indicating that the US government accepted at the time that he was a U.S. citizen on the day he was born.

That is the actual criterion for being a natural born U.S. citizen.

Yes, I know some knowledgable, well-meaning, honest patriots are confused on this point, because they have been reading legal theories from the time of the nation’s founding. They have come across the definition that both parents must be citizens, and that the birth must take place on American soil.

But, even though some of the framers of the Constitution may have held this very theory, they did not write it into the Constitution. Instead, they left it to Congress “To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization…” [Article 1, Section 8, paragraph 4.]

And Congress has indeed acted under this power to create the current law under which one adult citizen parent is sufficient for natural citizenship.

Soebarkah’s, (or Soetoro’s, if you prefer that alias,) situation is entirely different. His mother was a citizen, but under the age of 21 at the time of his first breath. Under the law at that time, at least one parent had to be 21 for the citizenship to be inherited. Later, after Soebarkah came to be, the legal requirement was changed from 21 years of age to only 18.

But, existing persons were not grandfathered in by the new law. In other words, the fact that Soebarkah’s mother was over 18 at the time is irrelevant. She was still governed by the law at the time, under which she would have had to have been over 21 for him to inherit citizenship.

Soebarkah’s alleged father, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., was, of course a Marxist revolutionary from Kenya, and technically a British subject. As such, he was in no way eligible to confer US citizenship.

Thus, the importance of Soebarkah’s alleged birth in Hawaii. For, with neither parent being a U.S. citizen over the age of 21, his only hope to be treated as a natural born citizen is to have been born on U.S. soil. If he were in fact born in Mombasa, Kenya, as at least one of Barack Hussein Obama, Sr.’s female relatives has claimed, then Soebarkah is not natural born. And, with no evidence or claim of later naturalization, he would currently be the illegal alien sitting behind the Resolute Desk.

Unless, of course, his natural father is none other than the Marxist poet and pornographer (but American citizen,) Frank Marshall Davis, as some have alleged.

        • Richard

You have deliberately conflated natural born with naturalized. The argument has been worn out by the left to justify Obama’s coup. Eskyman has it exactly right.
The founders didn’t put a definition of Natural Born into the Constitution because they weren’t writing a dictionary, the term was well understood until it was time to anoint the chosen one, O.
There was a 19th century supreme court decision that applied Vattel’s definition to a case regarding Natural Born and by that decision the interpretation that Natural Born means born in country to two citizen parents became codified Constitutional law.

          • Covadonga

            >”You have deliberately conflated natural born with naturalized.”

Nope. I’m well aware of the difference.

My point is that Congress decides the conditions to be met for someone to be considered a U.S. citizen on the day he is born. And Ted Cruz meets it for the law that was in effect when he was born.

            >”the term was well understood until it was time to anoint the chosen one, O.”

When the controversy about Soetoro erupted in ’07/’08, and again when Ted Cruz was rumored to be considering a run more recently, I looked up the law as it existed when they were born.

I realized then that virtually all of the major components of it tickled memories from my high school social studies class, in which, for some reason, we had spent considerable time studying it in detail. I remembered from then that someone who has citizenship on the day he is born, whether by location or by inheritance from one or both parents, is considered a natural born citizen for purposes of holding the presidential office.

No one then imagined anyone as repugnant and un-American as Soetoro sliding through this legal window, rightly or wrongly, to fundamentally transform the country. But that high school class met years before Ronald Reagan’s reelection landslide, so I assure you that you are mistaken on the issue of when the populace’s conception of the definition of “natural born” citizenship changed.

            >”There was a 19th century supreme court decision that applied Vattel’s definition to a case regarding Natural Born”

There was an infamous 20th century Supreme Court decision, iirc, of the 1960s, which established “anchor babies”, and must have directly overturned yours.

During the 18th century, when the Constitution was framed, and the 19th, when the decision you are referring to was handed down, there was much more belief in the importance of ancestry, pedigree, “blood”, etc., than there is today.

There was another Supreme Court decision of the 19th century that established the “right” of men of certain hues to demand the labor, without compensation, of other men of other hues, and to be able to call upon the armed might of the state to maintain such a state of affairs.

If your campaign to bring back the Vattel definition begins to go anywhere, it will soon slam into the brick wall of the media tarring you, however unfairly, with the same brush as it would those who celebrated the Dred Scott decision.

They might let it slide this once, if Cruz wins the Republican nod and they can knock a few votes off his side of the ledger by letting you have your way for now. But after November 2016, your position is going to be finished.

The 19th century, for better or worse, was a different time. The definition you are championing, whatever its virtues, is not going to be accepted in today’s society.

Please answer two questions to help me understand better your context:

John McCain’s father was a distinguished naval officer. While posted in the Panama Canal Zone, his son, the future 2008 Republican presidential nominee was born there. Was that son truly eligible to run?

Consider the case of a pregnant 17 year old Mexican girl who gets a tourist visa, crosses the bridge from Ciudad Juarez to El Paso for a few days, and gives birth in a Texas hospital during that trip. What citizenship does her baby have?

          • Richard

“The 19th century, for better or worse, was a different time. The definition you are championing, whatever its virtues, is not going to be accepted in today’s society.”
If not for the definition I am championing we could feasibly have had as POTUS Bin Laden Jr or Hitler Jr.
There is a particular blogger who I am loathe to name on this website because she foams at the mouth at the mere mention of Pamela, Robert, Hannity, and others. She absolutely defines the circular firing squad that is conservatism. That said, Debbie Schlussel wrote extensively about the Supreme Court case which I was referring to. I believe it was Wong v. US but I could be mistaken. She wrote that there was a particular website that lawyers used to look up Supreme Court cases and it was very popular because it was accurate, exhaustively complete, and free. When the Birth Certificate controversy still had legs and books by Corsi and Cashill will still fresh and many were making the Natural Born argument this legal reference website was scrubbed of any reference to the Supreme Court decision which codified Natural Born as born in country to two citizen parents. Any case which made reference to the original case was also scrubbed. The website as a result became useless as a legal reference.
Any way think about the consequence of going all loosey goosey on Natural Born when you contemplate President Bin Laden Jr.

        • keyesforpres

Sorry, but you just explained why he does not have natural born status…his mother had to apply for his citizenship. Your father MUST be a US citizen at the time of your birth and you know it. Cruz wants to give wo r k permits to illegals and increase work permits by 500% for legal immigrants. That should be a nonstarter right there.

          • Covadonga

You might want both parents to be citizens for their child to be a citizen.

But that was not the law when Ted was born, nor is it now.

          • keyesforpres

It is what our Founders looked to that we go by…being born in country to parents who are citizens.

      • victoria_29

You show your ignorance over & over doesn’t it get embarrassing. There is multiple documentation that the Founders did NOT look to Vattel period….gawd uneducated people. And FYI Ted does NOT hold Canadian citizenship…..People like you should be forbidden from even commenting.

        • keyesforpres

He had Canadian citizenship as late as last year. If not Vattel…who?

        • keyesforpres

What did they look to then? Are you saying there was a definition saying being born in a foreign country to a foreign father is natural born?
Yes, Cruz had Canadian citizenship a year ago and he said he did not know it…which means he was not even eligible for his Senate seat. Look it up.

  • Proud Kafir

A lot of the other speakers at the South Carolina Freedom Summit also stood up for Pamela Geller and decried the media’s criticism of her. And except for the statement quoted above, the rest of Ted Cruz’s speech was a repeat of the speech he have in Iowa. Same jokes and anecdotes, same generalizations. What a disappointment.

    • keyesforpres

He says the same speech over and over and right wing sites gush that he “rocked the house”.
I heard him in Myrtle Beach…same speech.

      • eskyman

Personally, I’m for digging up George Washington and re-electing him.
He may be long dead, but he’s definitely got the qualifications!

Good thing no one ever holds out for perfect candidates, isn’t it; and your preference (among the living that is) for Jeb Bush is noted.

Pamela, Cruz is not the best candidate. He will be a globalist NWO puppet selling out our USA sovereignty & national security for a One World Gov if he gets into the executive office of president (EOP). Also, very importantly, Cruz is not a natural born USA citizen, and therefore, Cruz is not legally qualified to be a U.S. president, according to our USA constitution, and our USA heritage.

In the research I have done, I have discovered that there are other presidential candidates who would be more successful as a U.S. president than Cruz from their track records and legal qualifications, though Cruz is a very intelligent individual.

Currently, the hired terrorist traitor, illegal alien dictator usurper aka Obama in our usurped USA gov will most likely send on the USA people false flags to start civil war in the USA in order to give him the opportunity to call martial law, suspend the US Constitution, and attempt to remain in usurped USA gov power for life.

We’ll see if the hired and funded known Muslim Brotherhood member & communist terrorist traitor serial criminal, foreign & domestic enemy, illegal alien dictator, and the lawless madman serial killer usurper will remain in our usurped US gov for life. I think aka Obama will do anything he can do to remain in his criminally usurped US gov power in the USA. I pray that God intervenes.

On the issues that are most critical to me – national security / foreign policy – what other presidential candidates do you prefer over Ted Cruz?

I think Donald Trump is and will be very loyal to the USA. I think Trump would protect & save USA & bring the USA back from ruin. Trump is an American-born natural-born citizen. I want Trump to run and win in 2016. I agree with Walid Shoebat. Trump would be a great military general like Patton. The USA definitely needs the most intelligent, decisive, and strongest leader, and I think Trump would be a great USA president in the executive office of president (EOP) and a strong & great CinC.

Trump for U.S. president and V.P. mate Rand Paul OR Ben Carson are my choices for the USA 2016 election.

Trump attacked Pamela Geller and tried to blame the victim. He is a spineless dhimmi.

All candidates should support Pamela’s right to Free Speech. Huckabee also did. So it’s either Ted Cruz, Huckabee, who else.

  • Tatonka

Ted Cruz don’t get it either.
He said,..I saw the ugly face of ” Radical Islam”
What he should’ve said is…I saw the ugly face of “Islam”

They all use that formulation. I don’t know any politician who says the enemy is Islam itself. Do you?

      • Tatonka

Geert Wilders is a Politician, he is leader of the Dutch freedom party.
He has no problem calling it what it is publicly.
Of course everybody hates him and the Muslim want him dead.

        • wildjew

You are right and I respect him for it. I should have said here in the U.S. That is what I meant. I cannot think of any U.S. politician who calls it what it is publicly. Can you? At least we’ve moved from “terrorists” during the Bush years to radical Islam.

          • TruthWFree

As Turkey’s Erdogan says, “Islam is Islam”. Do wish people like Ted who i support would call it what it is. Islamic terrorism is rooted in the supposed revelations of the allah god of the Quran and his false robbing, murdering pedophile false prophet Muhammad.

The millions of “moderates” in this country use the same books containing the same teachings as the “extemists”.
So the “moderate” advances the same ideology, along with the support of the whorish media. A bold politician will make Americans aware of this like the outspoken Geert Wilders

          • Elizabeth

The so-called moderates are also part of the problem; their deafening silence following each new atrocity speaks volumes regarding their tacit approval of crimes against humanity ostensibly being perpetrated to appease the insatiable blood lust of their ‘deity’ as these barbarians try to force all of us to submit to an oppressive tyranny masquerading as a ‘religion’.

Reminds me of George Carlin’s skit on euphemisms. It’s like “new speak” in Orwell’s 1984 and if you look close at what words Obama employs from the beginning of his tenure of his administration, you’ll see that he has been carefully guiding the media as to what to say and how to say it. Fort hood wasn’t a terrist action, it was work place violence. ISIS is not Islam. And teaching us about the Holy Quran and how pretty it is.

        • Covadonga

Ordinary people need to read it so that they can understand exactly how hateful, violent, and alien it is to our ideals.

After we have won, we will want our children to read it, so they will understand why we did what we did to end the Islamic threat.

This is in keeping with teaching about Japanese atrocities in WWII, so that now we understand why people then chose to drop atomic bombs on Japan.

People with a philosophical and moral to understand political liberty and a rational society will never be attracted to jihad, sharia, FGM, etc.

It is only the ignorant and down-at-their-luck losers that are attracted to it today. As well as the well-funded losers: stuffed-shirt RINOS like Grover Norquist and his little buddy Suhail Khan, and their clients.

    • It is close enough. Seeking perfection in politics is suicidal and will result in yet another Democratic victory.

      • Steve Brown

Ted Cruz for president, colonel Allen West ,secretary of defense.

    • Atikva

Of course he gets it, but as much as he’d like, he can’t speak as forcibly as you and I on that count. I am even surprised he went that far, contrary to the other candidates who remained mum. To do any good, you have to get elected first, and that entails gathering the largest possible number of votes from the largest possible spectrum of the population.

    • Raymond of Canada

I think it’s a way to talk about Islam and get away with it. Radical Islam should be referred to Islamists but we know how the Muslim-in-Chief don’t want that word used because we must all realize that not all Islamists are radical. Know this. THERE IS ONLY ONE ISLAM.

    • Michael Sikivie

He might get it, but must use the redundant ‘radical’ qualifier to survive politically.

    • Elizabeth

It is true that the majority of Americans don’t yet recognize that they are all in danger of being attacked at any given moment by the death cult followers of the pedophile ‘prophet’. Nor are they ready to be confronted with the harsh reality–unfortunately I think it will take another horrific barbaric attack, perhaps as depraved as the savage atrocities committed at Beslan . . .

    • eskyman

Yes, he could certainly say “I saw the ugly face of Islam!”

He wouldn’t have any chance whatsoever to be elected to anything, but at least he could say, “I spoke the truth!” The low info voters wouldn’t care, would they. They’d just vote for someone who didn’t sound so “hateful.”

      • Tatonka

Since when is telling the truth…hateful?
Would it be like saying ..that damn dog bit me!.
Would i called a dog hater now??

  • wildjew

I like Ted Cruz. If he comes out against formal Republican policy which is aimed at establishing a Muslim-enemy state in Israel’s heartland he will go a long way to clench my support in the Republican primary.

    • Fromafar

He’s already gone on record that he would be fine with Israel abandoning the “Two State Delusion”…. He told this to Caroline Glick of the Jerusalem Post.

      • wildjew

That’s a good first step but I want him to go further. If G. W. Bush hadn’t made the establishment of a Muslim-enemy state in Israel a formal goal of U.S. policy – formulated the Bush-Al Saud road map – I doubt Israel would have retreated from Gaza August 2005. Bush, Powell, Rice put lots of pressure on Israel to retreat from Jewish land. Unless the Republican party abandons this idiocy the pressure will continue. I want to see more from Senator Cruz than “I would be fine with Israel abandoning the 2 state delusion.” The pressure comes from the White House.

        • Gail Combs

          SHEESH,

Let the poor man get elected FIRST.

He will do zero good if he is marginalized as the elite/MSM did to Ron Paul and others.

Look at the last two elections we get a hothead with PTSD —McCain and a Corporate Raider, RINO Romney.

Now they want to push the TWIG (Jeb Bush) down our throats or the HITLERy beast.

          • wildjew

Why on earth would I want to do that? Let us leave aside his Christian faith (which is critical to a man’s worldview) for the moment. How would saying something to the effect, “I’ve been watching and studying this conflict for several decades and have come to the conclusion that a Palestinian state in Israel would present a mortal threat to the Jewish state and therefore oppose the imposition of it,” cause Senator Cruz to be marginalized and not applauded by the conservative base of the party?

What do you know about politics that I do not know.

A guy walked into an adult novelty shop. He asked for an inflatable doll.
        Counter guy: Male or Female
        Customer: Female
        Counter guy: Black or White
        Customer: White
        Counter guy: Muslim or Christian
Customer: What the heII does religion have to do with it
Counter guy: The Muslim doll blows itself up.

  • bill reitzes

Yet, Western countries still let jeehaadists return unopposed to their countries.
There are 1000’s of walking time bombs out there, who were treasonous and fought for ISIS against their own countries.
No charges of treason against any of them.
When you add this together with the all the other 7% of all Muslims who are considered radical, by themselves, the number is getting quite staggering.

Rand Paul lost me when he decided to Fast Track a SECRET TREATY: The Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Why do the transnational corporations get a seat at the negotiating table while American citizens are kept in the dark?

OH, and the fast track means it takes 2/3 to DEFEAT the treaty instead of ratifying it. It also means Congress can make no changes. WTF!!!!

I like Ted Cruz. Yes, he should have said we saw the face of Islam; not the face of “radical” Islam. True. We need to educate Cruz.

  • AlOmega

A pity he uses the words “radical islam”. He should have just said, “We saw the ugly face of Islam in Garland, Texas, recently.” That would have been more accurate.

Cruz IS a politician and he has gone as far as he can without offending the MSMs delicate sensibilities.

Remember Ben Carson got put on the Southern Poverty Law Center ‘Extremist List’

This is the same Southern Poverty Law Center, that is listed by the Depart of Defense document AFSS 0910 EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AND TREATMENT INCIDENTS (EOTI) LESSON PLAN as “….additional sources for current extremism information…”

The whole document obtained by Judicial Watch via an FOIA
    http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/press-releases/judicial-watch-defense-department-teaching-documents-suggest-mainstream-conservative-views-extremist/

This is the same document that says:
    QUOTE
    D. Extremist Ideologies
    1. Introduction
    • As noted, an ideology is a set of political beliefs about the nature of people and society. People who are committed to an ideology seek not only to persuade but to recruit others to their belief. In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.

    2. Ideologies
    a. Nationalism – The policy of asserting that the interests of one’s own nation are separate from the interests of other nations or the common interest of all nations. Many nationalist groups take it a step further and believe that their national culture and interests are superior to any other national group.

    b. Supremacy – The belief that one’s race or ethnicity is superior to all others and should dominate society. Supremacy, as with racial supremacies in general, has frequently resulted in anti-Black and anti-Semitic violence.

    c. Separatism – Setting oneself or others apart based on culture, ethnicity, race, or religion.

Seems the US military has identified ordinary US Citizens as THE ENEMY, but not islam… go figure.

  • sgtstriker

It’s startling how many people are totally off base on the issue regarding the Draw Muhammad event. Simply put, drawing Muhammad is blasphemy according to Sharia law. Sharia law is the product of Islam. Islam is not, and never will be, a part of our culture. Sharia law has no validity in our culture. Saying that Pamela Geller incited violence is saying that we must respect Sharia law – WRONG! Respecting Sharia is giving credence to Sharia which is absolutely the wrong thing to do.
This political correctness in todays media is misleading and dangerous.
We must show no tolerance and no respect for anything Sharia!

  • Sorry Pamela but until the Supreme Courts rules these defining words of natural born citizen as wrong, which if they did it would be just one more act of treason by our government, then this is the definition which has been part of the Congressional record for over a 150 years:

Representative Bingham was born in 1815 while many of the Founders were still alive. Jefferson and Adams didn’t die until Bingham was 8 years old. Keep in mind that Bingham was the adjutant judge at the Lincoln assassination trial, the prosecutor at the Andrew Johnson impeachment proceedings, and the principle framer of the 14th Amendment. This man understood jurisprudence and the Constitution.

He stated on three separate occasions on the House floor the definition of a natural born citizen to the agreement of all present.

    1862:
All from other lands, who by the terms of [congressional] laws and a compliance with their provisions become naturalized, are adopted citizens of the United States; all other persons born within the Republic, of parents owing allegiance to no other sovereignty, are natural born citizens. Gentleman can find no exception to this statement touching natural-born citizens except what is said in the Constitution relating to Indians. – (Cong. Globe, 37th, 2nd Sess., 1639

    (1862)) http://memory.loc.gov/ll/llcg/059/0600/06811639.gif

    1866:
Every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen…. – (Cong. Globe, 39th, 1st Sess., 1291 1866) http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/ampage?collId=llcg&fileName=071/llcg071.db&recNum=332

    1872:
As to the question of citizenship I am willing to resolve all doubts in favor of a citizen of the United States. That Dr. Houard is a natural-born citizen of the United States there is not room for the shadow of a doubt. He was born of naturalized parents within the jurisdiction of the United States, and by the express words of the Constitution, as amended to-day, he is declared to all the world to be a citizen of the United States by birth. See page 2791

    http://books.google.com/books?id=wk0uAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA2791&dq=%22State+Department%22+%2B%22natural-born+citizen%22&hl=en&ei=EQpxTeupEI32gAePqsRD&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=3&ved=0CC8Q6AEwAjgK#v=onepage&q=%22State%20Department%22%20%20%22natural-born%20citizen%22&f=false

    Vattell:

§ 212. Of the citizens and natives.

“The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. http://birthers.org/USC/Vattel.html

As you can see Vattell and Representative Bingam both point to two factors for natural born citizen status. (1) Born in the country and (2) born to citizen parents (plural).

Cruz fails on both counts. He was born in Canada and his father didn’t become a citizen until 2005.

  • Kim Novak Gibson

How about getting behind a Constitutionally eligible candidate. Cruz “may” be a citizen of US, but NOT Natural Born Citizen (born to US Parents on US soil, note parents is plural).

  • Lucas Belcher

Wow there’s a lot of stupid on this page.

  • Constitution101

Pamela why Ted Cruz? If someone whispers anti-jihad sentiment you are for him? He is not a Natural Born Citizen and cannot lawfully hold the office of US President. What you want is not another Obama problematic candidacy where his eligibility will always be in question. You have apparently NOT done your own homework. Sad. The problem is you and many others think we can just look the other way in the loyalty test of these presidential candidates being NBC and think they will defend the Constitution (which by the way if obeyed will not allow Islam to exist in the US beyond the periphery). History has shown that they won’t. Obama didn’t. We are seeing this Islamic problem here because of politics. You cannot cure this problem with unqualified candidates.

Too bad that most will be led by their emotions and not their thought processes. And now Pamela that you have committed to Cruz you are stuck with him no matter how ineligible he is as a candidate because we know that once you commit to someone it is near impossible to do the right thing and change one’s mind based upon better research. Research that you should have done in the first place. But still I call upon you to do just that.

Pamela I think you should announce your intention to run for the presidency of the United States of America. All those in favor say I !

  • IC_the_future

If we assume that 95 of all Muslims in the USA are full red blooded Americans and want nothing jihad, that means 5 percent of all 4 million Muslims in the USA are jihadists, which means there are 200,000 jihadis on USA soil, making 50,000 of age and gender likely to attack. Does anyone comprehend the numbers we are dealing with here???? What if that number is 75% wanting no jihad and 25% wanting jihad, that would make 1,000,000 jihadists on USA soil? Can I say it any clearer? Do you understand what is happening here?

  • NJK

Good choice, Pamela. He’s our only hope. We have to rid that organized crime, parading around as a legitimate govt., from D.C. Everyone in and out of D.C. needs to undergo thorough background checks and fingerprinting. They all have to be investigated, and people and agencies need to be removed. People need to be punished. Their pensions need to be revoked.

I’d like to send a few politicians in D.C. to meet their virgins with them.

  • Clark Kent

Pamela is right. Ted Cruz is a once in a generation presidential hopeful.

I stand with Pamela for Ted 2016!

I’m an atheist. To me the Christians look reasonable defending my rights and theirs against savagery.

You however read like an anti-Semitic embarrassment. Please consider converting to Islam.

      • ham hock

An atheist telling another atheist to convert~ How laughable. Now tell me how christians are defending your rights when they want you out of the country, regardless of your religion, just because of your ethnicity?
