The leader of the Muslim world, Mufti al-Husseini, raised Muslim armies for Hitler.
Stefan Petke of the Technical University of Berlin uncovered rare footage that documents the Nazi army’s Muslim units. The Nazis used them as “working soldiers” to take their weapons to and from the front lines. The Nazis apparently did not trust them with any major tasks, but that doesn’t mean the Jew-hating Muslim soldiers wouldn’t have gladly undertaken them if asked.

As a founder member of both CAIR and CANR, I can assure the readers of this blog that these individuals had nothing whatsoever to do with either Islam or Nazism. They appear to be extras in some sort of 1940s Naziphobic propaganda film. For some unknown reason there was a lot of Naziphobia in the 1940’s, just as there is a great deal of unjustified Islamophobia today.

I am upset at the lack of civility towards people of different beliefs in the comments on this blog. Please remember how easy it is to hurt people’s feelings and make them feel victimized.
For example, when Naziphobia was at its height in the mid 1940s, many visiting Nazis were made to feel quite unwelcome in some European countries, especially the Normandy beaches and the area of Russia around Stalingrad. But perhaps the worst offenders were the bigoted British led by the raving Naziphobe Winston Churchill. They operated a discriminatory profiling system in their airspace which put ALL Nazis on a no-fly list.

There is “satire” and then there reaches a point where some satire is done for purposes of undercover propaganda. The German army had troops from dozens of countries, nationalities and religions. Muslims fought Russians on the Eastern Front. Nazi-backed Croats and Muslims, in Yugoslavia, killed hundreds of thousands of Serbs, who repaid them, several decades later, by killing lots of Muslims and Croats.

Pamela, the videos are being used to mislead the public by softening the image of the islamists. The movies pertain to the use of the IslamoNazis in Tunisia, or North Africa, not Europe.
The crimes committed by this group were committed in Europe, namely in Serbia, specifically against Serbs and Jewish people. They were known to be so cruel that even German soldiers looked upon them as savage. The research should come from the areas where they operated in Europe…not North Africa….very few Jews there.

Izetbegovic, the current President of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, is the person who connects the present and the
World War II. During the World War II, he was also linked to
the SS Handschar Division. He joined the organization “Young
Muslims” in Sarajevo on March 5, 1943, and is alleged to
have engaged as a member of the organization in recruiting
young Muslims for Handschar Division in collaboration with
German intelligence services (ABWER and GESTAPO). Thus, in
the spring of 1943, as leader of the Muslim youth in
Sarajevo, he welcomed the Nazi collaborator Amin-el
Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, to Sarajevo. In
1946, however, he was sentenced by the Yugoslav Supreme
Military Court to three years of imprisonment and two years
of deprivation of civil rights, because of his fascist
activities. What was alleged to be his “criminal record” was
published by Russian gazette “Izvestija” on 17th November
1992.

your point is well taken. But the mufti was not a pawn of Hitler. He was distinctly troubled by the fall of the Turkish Caliphate. He distinctly organized muslim slaughter of Jewish people (Jews were not necessarily communist…in fact were unlikely to be so…he killed them because they were Jews) and actively sought to organize a panislamic union. all in all, He was motivated by the islamic script…not by Hitler. A bit like Erdogan.

As you say, both English and the French had used muslims in their armies and more likely in greater numbers.
Hence, the mufti had a choice.
To join with the French or the English. He distinctly chose to side with the Nazis.
His motivations were to destroy the Jewish people in Europe and wherever he could find them.

“That allying with Germany was the answer to muslim liberation,” is simply not true. The Germans were allied with Turkey. Turkey had continued to maintain a caliphate, and most muslims in Northern African countries were not willing to remain under it. Most muslim to be leadership played their hand with the English and French.
That is why the mufti is an interesting character. He was looking to both Turkey and Germany to establish a panislamic state. He was motivated by islamic writings and wished to do to the Jews what Turkey had done to the Armenians.

Also note the present situation with security forces in Kenya, Nigeria…etc. Their ability to intercept islamists and the timimg which they do it is a sign that their security forces are compromised.
Unfortunately, this scenario is beginning to play out in western countries as well….as more and more islamists take positions in security forces as well as government leadership, we will see western security forces’ decreased surveillance abilities and increased reaction time…..consequently, more numerous tragedies.

Mohammed-Thay”appear” to be extras in a propaganda film? What is your evidence? For some “unknown reason” there was a lot of “Naziphobia” in the 1940’s? I have two uncles who took part in the Normandy invasion. Both were captured by the Nazis and both witnessed the death camps and murdering of Jews and others in the Nazis death camps. Both were freed when the US and Russians liberated the camps in 1945. You are in a world of ignorance and what you write is propoganda.
