The Jewish Communal Fund (JCF) manages $1.3 billion in charitable assets for 3,100 funds. The organization exists to help super-rich Jews funnel money to non-profit Jewish organizations. The type of people they hold money for is evident from an endorsement on their website from the former Chairman of Citigroup, billionaire Sandy Weill, who said, “I think that the service is fantastic. You feel very good that your money is being managed properly and it’s in good hands and they’re very punctual when you ask them to send it some place.”
The problem with the JCF is that they have sent millions to the New Israel Fund in the last few years. The NIF is devoted to boycotts against Israel and weakening the Israel Defense Forces.

While JCF’s President Karen R. Adler & her buddy Alisa Doctoroff are members of JCF leaders, do other board members, such as Noel J. Spiegel of Deloitte & Touche LLP, Ezra G. Levin of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, Zoya Raynes Friedman of Morgan Stanley, agree with funding the New Israel Fund from a Jewish charity? Trustees of the Jewish Communal Fund include Jerry Cohen, Leslie Fastenberg, Cindy Golub, Terri Herenstein, Suzanne Denbo Jaffe, Sidney Lapidus, Jenny Lyss, Ella Shteingart, David Z. Solomon, Andrew Sommers, Michael L. Stern and others. Trustees: Do you sleep well at night knowing that your organization helps fund boycotts of Israel? Is that your Jewish communal service?
Let’s look at one of the many heinous places New Israel Fund puts their money:
+972 Magazine is funded in part by The New Israel Fund. Writers and contributors there regularly invoke the Durban vocabulary, accusing Israel of “apartheid”, “ethnic cleansing,” “racism,” “land confiscation,” “discrimination,” “displacement,” “fail[ing] to prosecute violence against Palestinians,” “perpetrating another “Nakba,” and deride “American Jewish hypocrisy.”
In a June 24, 2013 article, “The fall of the house of Herzl: Israel as a horror flick,” Yuval Ben-Ami compared Israel to horror films in which a house first “appears as a safe haven, an outpost of normality, where threatened characters may seek refuge from strange forces,” but later “turns out to be the perfect hiding place also for the monsters, or even a monster in and of itself.”
In a February 2012 interview in The Nation, Noam Sheizaf, +972’s then-editor-in-chief, referred to Jerusalem as an “apartheid city.” In September 2012, Sheizaf used his twitter account to refer to critics as “the Jewish KKK” and “fascist.”
In May 2012, +972 published a cartoon depicting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu raping President Barak Obama and eating his limbs.
On July 25, 2011, columnist Yossi Gurvitz published an article, “This sick glee in the face of a terrorist attack,” claiming that Israelis were full of “glee” over terrorist attacks in Norway, in which Anders Behring Breivik killed 77 people. Gurvitz wrote that, “It is not, in fact, at all surprising that a neo-Nazi would support Israel,” blaming the “de-humanizing effects of Jewish Orthodox education” and alleging that “Israel was South Africa’s best friend during Apartheid.”
+972 published a positive review of “Once Upon a Land,” a 2010 “tour book”, published by the fiercely anti-Zionist NGO Zochrot, of “Palestinian neighborhoods and villages whose inhabitants were expelled by Israel during the Nakba.”
Political strategist Hank Sheinkopf recently rightfully noted, “Those who stand with New Israel Fund are standing against Israel. To suggest otherwise is a lie. I urge anyone affiliated with the NIF to stop supporting this organization financially. The New Israel Fund must be ostracized by the Jewish community.”
The Jewish Communal Fund – despite the many good things they do – are also helping to harm Israel by funding the NIF. This must end.

Is there any outrage within the Jewish Charitable Fund organizations? Do they say at least that they’re looking into it?
These reports are absolutely appalling! Do they give money along with Soros to J Street too?

Not 100% accurate as the funds are donor directed. In many ways the fund is a way to “donate” today for tax and estate planning purposes initially to the JCF and then direct the funds over time from the JCF to any eligible 501c3 charity.
While it’s unfortunate that some of the charities including the NIF are awful places to donate that’s the donor’s doing … Not the JCF.

I would not be surprised if some of these clowns have so much money to spare that they donate to friends of the IDF out of the tax-deductible change and guilt!
