FBI whitewashing Saudi connection to 9/11

55

Former Senator Bob Graham says: “This is a pervasive pattern of covering up the role of Saudi Arabia in 9/11 by all of the agencies of the federal government which have access to information that might illuminate Saudi Arabia’s role in 9/11.”

Why? Whom are they protecting? And clearly this coverup is bipartisan, lasting through the Bush and Obama Administrations.

The American people need accountability — and a realistic counter-jihad policy. Neither party is giving it to us. We must demand it.

“How the FBI is whitewashing the Saudi connection to 9/11,” by Paul Sperry, New York Post, April 12, 2015:

Just 15 days before the 9/11 attacks, a well-connected Saudi family suddenly abandoned their luxury home in Sarasota, Fla., leaving behind jewelry, clothes, opulent furniture, a driveway full of cars — including a brand new Chrysler PT Cruiser — and even a refrigerator full of food.

About the only thing not left behind was a forwarding address. The occupants simply vanished without notifying their neighbors, realtor or even mail carrier.

The 3,300-square-foot home on Escondito Circle belonged to Esam Ghazzawi, a Saudi adviser to the nephew of then-King Fahd. But at the time, it was occupied by his daughter and son-in-law, who beat a hasty retreat back to Saudi Arabia just two weeks before the attacks after nearly a six-year stay here.

Neighbors took note of the troubling coincidence and called the FBI, which opened an investigation that led to the startling discovery that at least one “family member” trained at the same flight school as some of the 9/11 hijackers in nearby Venice, Fla.

The investigation into the prominent Saudi family’s ties to the hijackers started on Sept. 19, 2001, and remained active for several years. It was led by the FBI’s Tampa field office but also involved the bureau’s field offices in New York and Washington, and also the Southwest Florida Domestic Security Task Force.

Agents identified persons of interest in the case, establishing their ties to other terrorists, sympathies with Osama bin Laden and anti-American remarks. They looked into their bank accounts, colleges and places of employment. They tracked at least one suspect’s re-entry into the US.

The Saudi-9/11 connection in Florida was no small part of the overall 9/11 investigation. Yet it was never shared with Congress. Nor was it mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report.

Now it’s being whitewashed again, in a newly released report by the 9/11 Review Commission, set up last year by Congress to assess “any evidence now known to the FBI that was not considered by the 9/11 Commission.” Though the FBI acknowledges the Saudi family was investigated, it maintains the probe was a dead end.

The review panel highlighted one local FBI report generated from the investigation that said Abdulaziz and Anoud al-Hijji, the prominent Saudi couple who “fled” their home, had “many connections” to “individuals associated with the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001.”

But: “The FBI told the Review Commission that the communication was ‘poorly written’ and wholly unsubstantiated,” the panel noted in its 128-page report. “When questioned later by others in the FBI, the special agent who wrote (it) was unable to provide any basis for the contents of the document or explain why he wrote it as he did.”

How strange. Yet panelists did not interview the unidentified agent for themselves. They just accepted headquarters’ impeachment of his work.

Odder still, the agent’s report was just one of many other FBI communications detailing ties between the Saudi family and the hijackers. In fact, the Tampa office of the FBI recently was ordered to turn over more than 80,000 pages of documents filling some 27 boxes from its 9/11 investigation to a federal judge hearing a Freedom of Information Act case filed by local journalists over the Sarasota angle. The judge is sorting through the boxes to determine which documents should remain classified. Most are marked “SECRET/NOFORN,” meaning no foreign nationals — a classification reserved for highly sensitive materials.

“The report provides no plausible explanation for the contradiction between the FBI’s current claim that it found nothing and its 2002 memo finding ‘many connections’ between the Sarasota family and the 9/11 terrorists,” Thomas Julin, the attorney who filed the FOIA lawsuit against the FBI, told the Miami Herald.

The panel’s report also doesn’t explain why visitor security logs for the gated Sarasota community and photos of license tags matched vehicles driven by the hijackers, including 9/11 ringleader Mohamed Atta.

The three-member review panel was appointed by FBI Director James Comey, who also officially released the findings.

Former Democratic Sen. Bob Graham, who in 2002 chaired the congressional Joint Inquiry into 9/11, maintains the FBI is covering up a Saudi support cell in Sarasota for the hijackers. He says the al-Hijjis’ “urgent” pre-9/11 exit suggests “someone may have tipped them off” about the coming attacks.

Graham has been working with a 14-member group in Congress to urge President Obama to declassify 28 pages of the final report of his inquiry which were originally redacted, wholesale, by President George W. Bush.

“The 28 pages primarily relate to who financed 9/11, and they point a very strong finger at Saudi Arabia as being the principal financier,” he said, adding, “I am speaking of the kingdom,” or government, of Saudi Arabia, not just wealthy individual Saudi donors.

Sources who have read the censored Saudi section say it cites CIA and FBI case files that directly implicate officials of the Saudi Embassy in Washington and its consulate in Los Angeles in the attacks — which, if true, would make 9/11 not just an act of terrorism, but an act of war by a foreign government. The section allegedly identifies high-level Saudi officials and intelligence agents by name, and details their financial transactions and other dealings with the San Diego hijackers. It zeroes in on the Islamic Affairs Department of the Saudi Embassy, among other Saudi entities.

The review commission, however, concludes there is “no evidence” that any Saudi official provided assistance to the hijackers, even though the panel failed to interview Graham or his two key investigators — former Justice Department attorney Dana Lesemann and FBI investigator Michael Jacobson — who ran down FBI leads tying Saudi officials to the San Diego hijackers and documented their findings in the 28 pages.

Graham smells a rat: “This is a pervasive pattern of covering up the role of Saudi Arabia in 9/11 by all of the agencies of the federal government which have access to information that might illuminate Saudi Arabia’s role in 9/11.”

Every time I read Atlas Shrugs or Front Page Mag, it becomes more apparent that the government of the United States is corrupt at almost every level. Clearly the Obama administration is responsible for much of it, but it is just as clear that Republican administrations have had an equal hand in the corruption. Moral corruption in Washington, apparently, has been increasing gradually for a long time. Washington seems to attract the wrong kind of individuals, those who pursue money and power for their own sakes. I would suggest there is too much taxpayer money flowing in a great river into Washington. You know the old saying when trying to find the source and motive for crime: Follow the money! Moral lapses are common because we are human, but this has descended into a cesspit of evil. I have always admired America and the American people for their wonderful achievements that have contributed so much to the betterment of the world, but they were all based upon free enterprise, individual liberty, personal responsibility, and strong moral values. All that seems to have been lost, pushed aside, and even redefined by the universities who teach that objectivity is impossible (so why should a journalist even try to produce objective reporting), that capitalism is greed, profit is theft, and so on. I would like to hear a presidential candidate say that he or she intends, if elected, to slash regulation, reduce the civil service, cut the pay of bureaucrats, reduce taxes, and slash welfare payments of any kind. America needs a moral citizenry, in fact, cannot survive without it. No president should ever be able to assume almost royal powers at the expense of Congress, as Putin has…sorry, Obama has…with hardly a peep from Congress. God help us all, and by us, I mean the world.

The Saudi’s have for years been the main distributor of hate video’s, books, pamphlets etc… to the Western World. I think everybody knows this, so why are the Major powers afraid to act against these 2 faced Scumbags. Even now they want the World to fight their battles by proxy for them. Any sound that comes out of a Saudi mouth is a LIE. God help us if the Saudi’s and Iranians ever got together.

O. I. L. Too much money being made and too much US dependence on it. the sooner Solar and Electric powers become more feasible/improved and mainstream… the sooner we can piss on the Saudis and let them stick their oil up their asses !! then see how their little profits diminish… for as Muslims they have contributed NOTHING to mankind in way of technology or inventions or anything to offer the world. No Oil, no money, and less power and a USA not so afraid of upsetting them. take back their planes and bomb them might be a plan.. for punishment for all the perpetrations they make against the west in the furtherance of islam !! dirty little sneaky taqiyya spewing jerks. and did you see that fagott President Obola bow down to the Princes waist in a subservient manner when they met? what a dhimmi Obola is !??!@!

Yes, it has much to do with oil. I think it may also have to do with Iran.
Both parties have chosen for generations to largely leave our own oil in the ground and deplete foreign resources. Because of that we have poured trillions of dollars into Saudi Arabia and OPEC. And if one is to believe Lindsey Williams we have enough oil in Alaska to make the oil in Saudi Arabia look like a puddle. Wind, solar are losing propositions. And you can’t just harvest electricity, some other source of energy must be converted. Hydrocarbons and coal are, and will continue to be our major sources of cheap energy. I do think that biofuel holds promise as an alternative however.
It is also important to understand that we may be going soft on Saudi Arabia because they oppose Iran. In this case, the enemy of our enemy is not our friend. This doesn’t have everything to do with the terrible statecraft of Obama and Kerry, who are running things like a couple of German Wings co-pilots. The world stage is far more complex than those two can possibly understand.
How smartly could this country perform statecraft is John Bolton were Secretary of State? It’s not what I hope for, but I fear that Hillary will steal the election and I would not be at all surprised to see her turn around and appoint Obama as SOS. I truly hope neither of these events come to pass.

The US consumes 19 million barrels of oil per day:

http://www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.cfm?id=33&t=6
.

To date the Alaska Pipeline has produced 17 billion barrels. At 19 million barrels per day consumption by the USA, that would last 2.5 years. Scarry stuff.

http://www.alyeska-pipe.com/TAPS/PipelineOperations/Throughput

.
Total estimated proven US oil reserves is 30 billion barrels. Total estimated undiscovered but recoverable oil is 198 billion barrels. 30 + 198 = 228 billion barrels. At 19 million barrels per day burn rate, all the oil in the country would last 12,000 days or about 33 years. Spooky.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oil_reserves_in_the_United_States

.

These are the reasons we must kiss their butts. Our entire economy runs on the stuff. Food production and distribution will not be done with solar and wind powered equipment. Ditto industrial production. Solar and wind may power residential homes but they can’t do everything. And biofuels are a waste of land are inefficient, and are welfare for farmers and friends of congressmen.

The FBI was equally pliant for Bill Clinton when Oklahoma City was bombed. He didn’t wish for an act of foreign terrorism to occur on his watch and so the involvement of Hussain Al-Hussaini, John Doe #2, was never investigated – at least not by the FBI and State. Read Jayna Davis, “The Third Terrorist”. That cover up continues to this day. And liberals continue to crow about that as an act of domestic terrorism as they grasp for moral equivalence. Just as they continue to incorrectly describe McVeigh as a Christian.

Too bad BDS isn’t fatal (Bush Derangement Syndrome, though Boycott-Divest-Sanction is equally toxic)

You can just imagine what my bookshelf looks like: Spencer, Hirsi-Ali, Corsi, Diana West, Cashill – and yes, Geller. With some Rand and even Plato thrown in for good measure.

It’s all about the bribes from Saudi’s.It’s not just oils money but out right bribes. If this happened in China top level government officials would be executed. It’s time the US does the same. No public office personnel should be aloud to accept money from any country with terror activities or piss poor human rights. Guess where most of Hillary’s money is coming from. Seems the Saudis by bombing iran’s agents in Yemen is behind this sudden desire to bring up the saudi role in 9/11 !!!! sultan Barry’s No. 1 job is “protecting islam” and insuring that iran is the power behind the coming worldwide totalitarian caliphate!

One possibility: We need to be buds with the Saudis because of their oil. So we will brush aside some things in order to remain buds. Solar, Wind, etc can eventually power our homes and is making significant inroads into electrical generation. However, oil is required to run tractors, combines, make fertilizer, produce, harvest and distribute all of our food and manufactured goods, get most of us back/forth to work (those few who are lucky enough to have jobs); thus we are going to kiss the asses of major oil producing nations, and pay (as long as they accept our toilet paper dollar) to purchase and use THEIR oil, leaving as much of our oil in the ground as possible (there isn’t much left, but there’s a little). This way, we run out of oil last or nearly last, and maybe we can remain a player in the world power game.
Also, perhaps we needed some Arab “permission” to go to war in Iraq, so they give us “permission” and we look the other way when they eff up. They probably wanted to get rid of Saddam just like we did. We’re allies.

What about that former Saudi Ambassador in Washington D.C., Prince Bandar? He was pretty much involved in 9/11. His wife, Princess Haifa, sent checks to one of the 9/11 hijackers. The one realistic explanation I have come across for why Saudi Arabia gets away with everything is described in Ellen H. Brown’s book, “Web of Debt.” Brown references “Confessions of an Economic Hitman, by John. According to Brown, Henry Kissinger worked out a deal between the U.S. and the Saudi Royal Family—the largest oil-producing member of OPEC. This was in 1974. OPEC agreed to accept payments for oil on the world market in dollars only. The deal forces every country to exchange their currency for dollars every time they buy oil. In exchange for this little favor, the U.S. concluded a side deal (supposedly in secret) with the Saudis that guarantees the U.S. will keep the House of Saud in power. What agency is going to nail the Saudis with THAT deal in place? BTW, this also likely explains why the Saudis are more than a little irked about Obama’s deal with Iran. ‘S a wonderful world, ain’t it?

Speaking of side deals… I just re-read my post above, and can’t help wondering if any of Obama’s side deals with Iran could undermine the deal Kissinger cut with the Saudis. Anything is possible with this administration.

It is mind-boggling that conspiracy theories point the finger in weird directions (like the CIA and Mossad) and never at Saudi Arabia.

How do the Saudis manage to maintain such a teflon image? Do you remember how all the flights were grounded EXCEPT those flying Saudi citizens out of the country?

They tried to buy the mayor of New York who refused the offer publicly. How many did NOT refuse?

Imagine unlimited wealth. Imagine how easy it would be to “manage the message”. I can see Bush’s friends in the oil industry advising him to “cool it”.

Also, imagine the investment scenario related to bombing the world trade center.
