New Israel Fund Paid Millions To Undermine Israel Via State Department

According to Edwin Black on The Daily Caller today, the New Israel Fund received more than one million dollars in funding from the State Department. As Black noted, “Vocal critics in both the U.S. and Israel charge that the New Israel Fund has knowingly financed groups that support the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, and worked to get Israeli soldiers prosecuted for so-called ‘war crimes.”

Benny Yanay of an Israeli military organization called Consensus, representing some 3,000 members of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), stated, “The New Israel Fund acts against Israel — against the soldiers of our country. It is supported by foreign governments and organizations so that Israeli soldiers will be weakened.” Other Israel military men and women have alleged that the NIF is trying to “destabilize the IDF.”

Consistent with the State Department to work with the Anti-Israel New Israel Fund.

The New Israel Fund has many connectors to the State Department. As this State Department link notes here, the JCRC –NY has a long standing relationship with the State Department. So too does Bob Kaplan of the organization (who reports directly to JCRC boss Michael Miller) tout close relations, via Linkedin, where he claims “He has been called upon by…the United States Department of State to consult on inter-ethnic community building and conflict resolution.” Does that include the NIF?  As of press time, we have no answer.

Of course, Alisa Doctoroff, President of The UJA Federation is listed as a “bridge builder” at the Abraham Fund website, an extreme left-wing organization currently involved in getting the Arabs out to vote in the upcoming Israeli election.  And who are the major donors – highest level – to Abraham Fund?  As can be seen plain as day on their website, both the US State Department and UJA Federation of New York are highest level donors of this organization.

The New Israel Fund is a despicable Anti-Israel organizations. The Jews who donate to them – including Alisa Doctoroff and Karen R. Adler of Jewish Communal Fund and JCRC must stop giving and must be ex-communicated from Jewish life.

At the very least Jews aught to know where their donations are going and how the money is being used.

Does the US State Department fund any Palestinian organizations promoting a peaceful interpretation of Islam? I can’t find a single one.

These people and Organizations need to be excoriated from our community and called out every chance possible. The nature of their work should be exposed. Each Senator and Congressman should be contacted about how US tax $ are be spent to undermine an Ally rather help them and the public should be given the news through a clip on the news. This is totally unacceptable
