ISIS is calling for radicalized “lone wolves” in the United States to go to the homes of U.S. soldiers and “slaughter” military personnel.

This is part of what is expected to be “a continued call” for American military personnel to be targeted within the United States.

According to Fox News, one British jihadist “encouraged radicals still living in the West to use Facebook and Linkedln to find and target soldiers.” The jihadist tweeted: “You could literally search for soldiers, find their town, photos of them, look for addresses in Yellowbook or something. Then show up and slaughter them.”

Militants in Syria have also been using Twitter to “[encourage] Muslims in the West to target soldiers with spontaneous attacks using [knives and guns],” the report continued.

On September 16, NBC News reported on a Rochester, New York man, Mafid A. Elfgeeh, who was charged for “trying to recruit people to join…ISIS…and shoot people in the United States.” Elfgeeh is a naturalized U.S. citizen from Yemen. The targets Elfgeeh allegedly had in mind were “American military personnel returning from the Middle East.”

The Obama administration continues to claim the Islamic State poses no immediate threat to the homeland, but the threats against our soldiers on our soil, not just serving abroad, appear quite immediate.

And according to Mail Online, intelligence agencies believe “these threats will only increase should the U.S. or its allies attack…ISIS in Syria or Iraq.”

      I think they worry that they can’t beat them. It is difficult to beat a religion. Especially one that believes it is a good thing to die in battle. Then you have to worry about the non radicals in your country becoming radicalized. It is a no win situation. The Taliban has lasted 12 years and they are fighting on horseback. The best bet, let them fight it out and we can deal with the winner. Who will be bruised and beaten.

            I kind of agree with wizard. Don’t get me wrong, I’m completely against extremism and radicalism but that goes for all religions not just one of them. Yes, there are extremists out there, and yes we must as a nation do what it takes to protect our people from terrorists and eliminate them if possible, but it’s not fair to generalize the actions of these terrorists and make it seems like all Muslims in the world are like that – there are more than 1 billion Muslims in the world. If they were all hateful killers I’m sure they would have taken over the world by now. I know some Muslims personally and they are completely against this sort of violence and are saddened by it, so let’s focus out efforts on the terrorist groups that really are out to destroy us rather than simply hate on everyone who is a Muslim, because that type of behaviour is ignorant to say the least.

            Is it the worst that history has seen? You say this because you’ve been roaming the earth for thousands of years? Don’t give me the whole “history books said so” argument. The version of the truth that you know will always be biased according to the part of the world that you grew up in. That is a fact of life. All religions experienced a few phases of extremism and violence throughout their history, because at the end what is religion but an ideology that someone or a group of people are trying to force on others.
            I’m not saying that the extremist Muslims are doing the right thing, and of course it is all very horrendous and horrible, but it should always be pointed out that these organizations represent a tiny fraction of all Muslims in the world, and their beliefs are taken out of context and exercised in violent and extreme methods, to the point that even Islamic scholars today around the world have condoned ISIS and washed their hands clean of them and their misguided beliefs.
            My point in the end though is that all religions that went through a period of vast expansion have blood on their hands, Christianity included. And it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the people pulling the world’s strings probably couldn’t care less about religion in the first place, they just use it because it is by far the most powerful method of control, and it’s quite sad to see so many people falling for it.

            Christianity emphatically does NOT call for the killing of “unbelievers” or apostates. (I know more about the history of Christian theology than most regular churchgoers do.)

            Islam emphatically DOES call for the killing of “apostates,” and the criteria are very expansive. Islam emphatically DOES command Muslims to attack “nonbelievers” and give them three options: 1. convert; 2. pay an ruinous tax and bear other humiliations; 3. be killed.

            That’s Islam 101. That is how Muslims have approached the rest of the world for close to 14 centuries. Muslim preachers often incite hatred of non-Muslims. Muslims march around with signs saying “Behead those who insult Islam.” There is nothing remotely comparable in Christianity.

            The dominant theme of the Koran is how much Muslims are supposed to despise non-Muslims, and how much Muslims hope the “infidels” will suffer for not accepting a psychopath as a “prophet.”

            I study the Torah as it relates to the Quran.
            The story of Joseph is very similar to the Quran but the story about Moses and Aaron is quite different.
            In the Quran, we are also not made aware that Abraham has three wives.
            In the Quran, Ishmael, Abrahams first born is the sacrificed one, not Isaac. Ishmael was 14 years older than Isaac and the Torah mentions nothing a bout Ishmael until he returns to bury Abraham with Isaac
            Ishmael was born to Hagar(servant to Abraham) because Sarah gave him her approval so he could have a male son because she was too old.
            The God blesses Abraham and bestows a child from Sarah at an age well past childe bearing years.
            Why does to the Torah seem to write off Ishmael?
            One thing I do not understand also…..?
            Why do the Jews claim Abraham as their own when the Law was not handed down until the time of Moses(almost 1000 years later)?

        ISIS has conquered one fairly large city and dozens of tiny villages that can not put up a defense.
        They are a rag tag bunch of uneducated terrorists of about 25,000.
        When a true and powerful military goes in( and yes……the US will be sending in ground troops unfortunately) and puts them to the wall, ISIS will disappear very very quickly and they will be just a memory a year after.

    At some point it may be necessary to round them all up and to put them in internment camps like they did during WWII. I knew al older guy who fought in WWII who thought putting the Japanese in internment camps was necessary. All I can say is that he was there and I wasn’t.
    We have the right not to be threatened by terrorists. If internment camps is what it takes to secure that right, then so be it.

I do know that my father was a Pacific veteran of several of the island campaigns and disliked and distrusted Japanese to his dying day, and he wasn’t the only one…so there is that. They did what they had to do and didn’t go overboard and that is a good thing; whether the internment was 100% ethical or not, perhaps it was the best thing to do under the circumstances at that time. We are faced with worse choices today.

            Just recently there was the story about the teen who was shot and killed while sitting at a red light. This same creep killed three other people and probably won’t even get the death penalty. Where is the right of the American people not to have to put up with Muslim terror and all the hassles that go with it. I am probably a lot more likely to die from a heart attack than to be killed by a terrorist. But I am unwilling to put up with abuse from them like people in Sweden and France have had to. If terrorist attacks increase, then at some point internment camps are one option to be considered.
            At the very least murder as an act of jihad should be one of the special circumstances that calls for the death penalty. And pigs blood should be one of the ingredients of the lethal injection formula.
