Second American killed fighting for the Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria

Abdirahmaan-Muhumed

In as many days, a second American Muslim has been killed fighting for the Islamic State in Syria. Abdirahmaan Muhumed, like Californian Douglas McAuthur McCain (slave of Allah), died waging jihad in the cause of Islamic supremacism and conquest.

In Facebook messages to an MPR reporter, Muhumed wrote: “I give up this worldly life for Allah” and “Allah loves those who fight for his cause.” A picture posted on the social network showed Muhumed carrying a Koran in one hand and a rifle in the other.

This FOX report talks about the same tired fiction, “disaffected young men targeted by recruitment videos.” As if…. Could you be lured across the world to behead non-believers with a six-inch knife by a YouTube video? And that’s how the Daily Mail explained Muhumed’s journey to Syria: “‘Jihad Cool’: The young Americans lured to fight for ISIS militants with rap videos, adventurism and first hand accounts of the ‘fun’ of guerrilla war,” by Laura Collins, Daily Mail, June 19, 2014

All of these ridiculous explanations avoid the truth — their commitment to Islam.

It is not surprising at all that Muslims in the West would express support for the Islamic State. The idea of a caliphate transcending national allegiance goes back to the beginning of Islamic history. Western analysts are surprised by this because they have discounted Islamic theology as a motivating factor for jihadis, and don’t understand the implications of the jihadi’s attachment to Islam.

“Sources say second American killed fighting with ISIS in Syria identified as Abdirahmaan Muhumed,” FOX News, August 28, 2014

A second American killed fighting with the Islamic State group in Syria has been identified as Abdirahmaan Muhumed, of Minneapolis, two sources told Fox News late Wednesday.

KMSP-TV in Minneapolis reported that Muhumed was killed in the same battle as Douglas McArthur McCain, who grew up outside Minneapolis in the town of New Hope and most recently lived in San Diego. The State Department confirmed McCain’s death earlier this week, but spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Wednesday that the U.S. has no independent confirmation of the second American’s death. “We’re looking into it,” she said.

A source told Fox News that Muhumed’s family had been sent a photo of his body from Syria, but had not been formally notified by the State Department.

A profile of Muhumed by Minnesota Public Radio this past June described him as a 29-year-old Somali-American who had been married more than once and was a father of nine children. MPR reported, citing the FBI, that at least 15 young men from the Twin Citites’ Somali-American community had traveled to Syria to join Islamic State, the militant group formerly known as ISIS that has captured wide swathes of territory in Syria and Iraq.

In a Facebook messages to an MPR reporter, Muhumed wrote “I give up this worldly life for Allah” and “Allah loves those who fight for his cause.” A picture posted on the social network showed Muhumed carrying a Koran in one hand and a rifle in the other.

Federal investigators believe that approximately 100 Americans have traveled to Syria to join Islamist groups. Most of them are disaffected young men targeted by recruitment videos like those one put out by the Somali-based, Al Qaeda-linked group al-Shabaab that praised Minnesota’s “martyrs.” One such “martyr” was Troy Kastigar, a high school classmate of Douglas McCain and a Muslim convert who was killed in Somalia in 2009.

Abdi Bihi, a leader in the Twin Cities’ Somalian community, told KMSP that ISIS has recently begun trying to recruit young women from the Twin Cities to their cause.

“They are brainwashing them to marry them off to jihadists,” he said. “They call them to help out as nurses, help out the wounded — but the real catch is they will be sexually exploited.”

While the jihadists may see fighting as a path to paradise, Bihi said the only thing young people who take that path will face is disappointment, possibly even death.

“What will not change is the pain and agony and suffering of the parents,” he lamented.

    Bingo! You nailed it.

Read through Islamic theology and look for the “Emir” ( Amir, Amier, or Ameer). Political Islam, in particular the Muslim Brotherhood, is a reaction to the end of the Ottoman Caliphate, which came after the Baghdad Caliphate. The Caliphate Dream is something which appeals to almost every devout Muslim in some way, at a minimum historically

    Quote:
The caliphs first used the title Amir al-Muminin or “Commander of the Faithful”, stressing their leadership over all Islam, especially in the military form of jihad; both this command and the title have been assumed by various other Muslim rulers, including Sultans and Emirs. For Shia Muslims, they still give this title to the Caliph Ali as Amir al Muminin.

This is a slow-motion disaster in progress because very few people in analytical positions bothered to open a single Islamic text before or after 9/11/01. Of course Obama made that almost a crime in 2011 for the people who most need to know, counterterror officials and law enforcement. Now though, sadly, everyone needs to understand it.

This American Islamic fighter for the jihad who was killed found out the hard way that he the doctrines and teachings of Islam are nothing but falsehoods and lies. For instead of finding himself in a sex filled paradise with many virgins, houris, he found himself in a terrible place of suffering and awful fire that will never go out. This place the Bible calls hell. Now it’s too late for him. This is worse then sad it’s outright tragic. Furthermore, he may very well might had been in such a warped and deluded mindset that he actually thought of all the ruthless violence of the evil that he was engaging in as something “good.” To such a deluded and warped way of thinking as this the Bible teaches “Woe to those who call good evil and evil good…” Isaiah 5:20.
Moreover, this evil and mad mindset that he might have had along with the other ISIS killers for the jihad may be also describes in Bible. Which reads “The hearts of men are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterwards they join the dead.” Ecclesiastes 9:3. [N.I.V.]
