Obama’s Department of Sharia: Caving to Hamas-CAIR’s demand, DoJ sues Minnesota town for rejecting mega-mosque

Here again we see Obama’s Department of Justice acting as the de facto legal arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America. This is a pattern.

Anywhere American law and Islamic conflict, it is American law that gives way under the Obama administration’s sharia enforcement division, the DoJ.

You’ll notice that in all of these mega-mosque proposals, Islamic supremacists seek to override zoning laws and town ordinances designed to maintain the infrastructure of city sewage, parking, etc., and/or the residential quiet, or architectural integrity, or proportionality of the municipality. But Islamic supremacists spit on American law. They talk about dialogue as a tool to disarm the unsuspecting, but in truth they steamroll over neighborhoods and people in order to impose their ready-made model of a supremacist society.

Get along with your neighbors? Not if they are kuffar!

The Department of Justice should be monitoring the mosques, not building them.

The Department of Justice should be prosecuting subversive Muslim Brotherhood groups like Hamas-CAIR,  not scuttling those prosecutions despite a “mountain of evidence” of their terrorist  funding activity.

At behest of Hamas-linked CAIR, DoJ sues Minnesota town for rejecting mosque (thanks to Robert Spencer), August 28, 2014

holder-obama630The town rejected the Islamic center on zoning grounds, but at a meeting, some opponents of the project “made disparaging remarks about the Muslim faith.” Time to call in the Thought Police! Time for Obama’s feds to force the mosque on this city! It is impossible to have a mature discussion about mosques in the U.S. It is impossible to point out that 80% of mosques in the U.S. are Saudi-funded, and that four separate, independent studies since 1998 have found that 80% also teach hatred of Jews and Christians and the supremacy of Sharia over Constitutional law. Anyone who points out such things is immediately accused of “racism,” “bigotry,” “hatred” and “Islamophobia.”

Yet the concerns are legitimate. Would the feds be suing the city of St. Anthony if it had rejected a church funded by a foreign government that was ostensibly an ally but that had spent billions to fund enemies of the U.S., and that taught that ultimately the Constitution would have to be replaced with a theocracy? I expect that in such a case, the feds would be suing the church, not the city that turned it down.

“Feds plan to sue city of St. Anthony over rejection of Islamic center,” by Shannon Prather, Star Tribune, August 27, 2014 (thanks to Jerk Chicken):

The U.S. Department of Justice plans to sue the city of St. Anthony for rejecting a proposed Islamic center in 2012.

Federal authorities recently sent the city notice of their intent to sue, and U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger is expected to announce the civil rights lawsuit alleging religious discrimination at a news conference Wednesday afternoon.

The St. Anthony City Council met with its attorney behind closed doors on Aug. 18 to discuss the threat of litigation. Mayor Jerry Faust said the city turned over documentation on the matter to federal authorities more than a year ago.

“They’ve taken a lot of records of ours. I am sure that’s what it’s about,” Faust said. “We have to give them all of our e-mails.”

The U.S. attorney’s office in Minneapolis has spent two years investigating the matter, with its spokeswoman saying at one point they had sought to reach an out-of-court agreement with the parties.

In June 2012, the St. Anthony City Council voted down the proposed Abu Huraira Islamic Center, concluding that a religious and cultural center was incompatible with the site’s light-industrial zoning. The council’s 4-1 decision went against a city planning commission recommendation to approve the 15,000-square-foot center in the old Medtronic headquarters at 3055 Old Highway 8.

The council decision came after some St. Anthony residents voiced their opposition to the proposed center. More than 150 people packed the meeting, and some made disparaging remarks about the Muslim faith.

Jim Roth, the lone council member to vote in favor of the Islamic center, predicted at the time of the vote that the council’s rejection would spawn a lawsuit. Roth said he was “embarrassed” and “stunned” by some of the remarks made.

St. Anthony city leaders have maintained the decision was grounded solely in land-use issues. St. Anthony is a “first-ring” suburb of Minneapolis that’s just 2.35 square miles with 8,200 people.

The Minnesota Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations asked federal authorities to investigate whether the city violated the federal Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act of 2000(RLUIPA).

In August 2012, two months after the council’s rejection, the Muslim group proposing the Islamic center purchased the former Medtronic Inc. headquarters for $1.9 million.

Mosques and Islamic school projects have faced opposition across the state. Some community members opposed projects in Plymouth, Willmar, Bloomington and Blaine, but all were approved.

Some of you may have heard the expression, “Minnesota nice,” as a characterization of folks in my lovely state. Well, we’re also getting “Minnesota smart,” too, in regard to the religion of peace.

Minnesota is for good, wholesome values, not religious ideologies that encourage crimes against humanity in the name of god. I think I speak for a great many Minnesotans when I say, we are people friendly and we welcome newcomers, but religious hatred and bigotry, not so much. We welcome all races, but hate is still hate, regardless of color.

    Just one Minnesotan’s opinion.

    • IslamSucks!

Please don’t misunderstand my last line as stating that I believe Islam is the product of race. It is not. It was only a way for me to contrast Minnesota’s good aspiration for tolerance and equality against islam’s ideology of hate and violence for the infidel. That’s all.

      • IslamSucks!

And kudos to the STARTRIBUNE for granting this story the importance it deserves, on the front page, smack on top! Good job!

Well, call it “MN nice” if you want, but having been born and raised in MN and still lots of family there, it’s feeling more like a mad rush to be the most extremely progressive to the point of wondering what’s in the water. I debated the wisdom of voting an inexperienced, unknown record who never served in the military for president/CINC -and just because I said I would never/had never voted for anyone who had no credentials- they asked me if I was a racist–oh, for crying out loud! I never voted for Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton for THE SAME reason, but no one said anything that stupid then. From Jesse Ventura to the 1st Muslim congressman to 17 ISIS homegrown jihadists, well, you all feathered your bed. Now wake up, before it’s too late.

      • IslamSucks!

I feel like I was just scolded and sent to bed. lol

I know what you mean about being called a racist. Up until recently I’ve been the only one in my “circle” that thinks Keith Ellison is a bad seed. They all think he’s wonderful, and that I must be some sort of paranoid racist freak. But I noticed a change in attitude of late, probably due to the hamas/Israel war, Syria, ISIS, they are beginning to connect the dots about islam. Before, they thought I was nuts, now they ask, “What site is that you go to about islam?” Of course I tell them Atlas Shrugs, Jihad Watch, and Bare Naked Islam. It’s funny how fast they change their tune by the time I see them next. Now they’re like, “I know! They’re crazy! They’re sick! It’s war!” lol

And I think to myself, “YES! I did a good thing! I helped them see the light!” P.G. would be so proud of me. ” :-)

I can tell, you’re a real blessing to anyone around you. In case you haven’t seen these yet, I’d like to introduce you to a couple of sites that offer us a unique opportunity to listen to what Islam has to say when they think we can’t hear them–it removes all doubts and allows us to hear the unvarnished truth about how they indoctrinate their children to hate, what they teach, debate and rant about. The truth will set us free:

    • Betty

well you will get your fair share of hate from these muslims. you can take that to the bank.

  • Minerva

I don’t believe for a minute that Obama isn’t on the same side as Muslim extremists. As far as I’m concerned all Muslims are on the same side, only some lie about where their allegiances actually are.

  • Richard

    Pamela,
I know you may have distanced yourself from the National Review. But grab the July 7 issue anyway and read their article “Eric Holder’s Justice”. It’s very illuminating.
We can’t simply ignore those we disagree with. They (NR) didn’t do well by Mark Steyn, I know. I’ll even admit that I read Schlussel sometimes – though she absolutely defines the circular firing squad. But your efforts, along with those of Robert, are (with the occasional exception of Martin Mawyer and frequent donations to the NRA) the only ones I back with my dollars.
Keep fighting, we must not lose. It’s working. I live in a very liberal state (CA) and I do see people’s attitudes coming around. As you have stated, it’s the information battle space where you do your fighting.

  • David

“Islam” and “Muslim” is not a race; therefore, racism cannot exist in that regards. Once again, ignorance abounds.

    • IslamSucks!

You’re right, but that’s usually the charge against us, isn’t it? that we’re a bunch of racist bigots that don’t like people with dark skin and burkas? No, it’s about islam as a hateful, violent ideology, that’s what it’s about.

If by chance you were alluding to my “ignorant” post, then you really read me wrong. Re-read the part where I mention “crimes and against humanity,” and “religious hatred.” I was simply painting my state as an open, tolerant, state that welcomes all people, but that religious hate and bigotry is not part of our “Minnesota nice.” It was simply a juxtaposition, not a definition of islam as the product of race.

The bill was called for by President John F. Kennedy in his civil rights speech of June 11, 1963,[7] in which he asked for legislation “giving all Americans the right to be served in facilities which are open to the public

  • Randy Davis

United States Constitution. The First Amendment states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the *****free***** exercise thereof.” for All religion,

    • SFTOBEY

Izlam is a totalitarian supremacist ideology hiding behind the veneer of “religion”. It should be outlawed. All mosques destroyed. Any “jihadi” protesters immediately deported to some izlamic S*ithole. Stop ALL muzlim immigration to the U.S. — unless of course, you want to see what ISIS is doing in the streets of the U.S.A. The first amendment to the Constitution was never intended to be a suicide pact.

  • W B Maze

If the Mosque gets built, just make sure it is empty and burn it to the ground. Islam has no room anywhere in the world. Period.

    • IslamSucks!

On the emotional level I agree with you, on the intellectual/moral level, not really. Our leaders and media are still struggling with even admitting the problem of islam, burnings are not a viable solution at this time, revolution is no where near. All we need to do is take some commonsense steps to curb the problem, as a start:

      ~Seriously curtail muslim immigration.
~Expel the muslim crooks, mooches, and seditious trouble-makers.
~Swiftly punish those muslims that flout our laws with sharia.
~Close militant mosques. (about 80% of them)
~Create new laws to deal with islamic hate speech and militant teachings.
~Guard vociferously our educational system, politics, and workplace, from unfair, unethical, and illegal stealth tactics by islamic supporters.

That’s just off the top of my pea-brain.

Any religion that has “kill the infidel” as its central tenet ceases to be a religious doctrine and becomes a war doctrine, especially since WE are the infidel. We are under no moral obligation to bow before any ideology that declares us its enemy and which contradicts our own best morality. I think that’s an intelligent thing to say.

I like your response, admittedly its less drastic then mine. My concern is that they are so many and they are doing it on purpose. I believe they call it biological jihad, where they populate the host country like a cancer. When they become overwhemling in numbers and are in polictical life, they will have the numbers to vote for their agenda, Shariah law. Do you think the items you listed would address this issues? I like your items a lot :)

Hold the media accountable for the ways in which Israel is smeared . Help set a precedent and send the message that we , as a nation will not tolerate democratic freedoms set aside through bias and lies.
A stand for Israel is a stand for freedom and democracy, important precedents are being set at this time and it is up to us how they are managed.
The media is complicit in this and will continue to be if we do not stand against it.
Research Pallywood and spread the information, my friend and fellow Canadian.

We the people need to undo obummer and beholder, now!!!!!!

  • Lorraine Ripberger

We need to clean house with all elections for years to come. How did we let our country go so far down this slippery slope. This has really escalated the past couple years..all states need to ban Sharia law demand immigrants to acclimate to America not America to them..speak english, obey the same laws we have to, if you are illegal get out . Respect our Constitution take your garbage back to your country you hated so much to come here. We are tired of you and your whining, complaining robbing us blind because of our kindness. We have loved immigrants til they hate us. So just go back where you came from.

  • OLD FART MARINE

People of Minnesota better wake the hell up, before Minnesota becomes muslimsota!
I think the people of Minnesota are too stupid to understand they are being over run and conquered by these weasels, every time they build another mosque.
Of course Minnesotans are too nice to complain, the state is DFL run. Too stupid to save themselves and too lazy to learn the truth!

  • Warren

If there is anyone worse than Obama it is Eric Holder.

  • Joe1938

Citizens of St. Anthony can easily solve the problem. Scatter about a ton of bacon bits all over the proposed site.
Who th’ell wants to hear some idiot screaming 24/7 at the top of their lungs from a mosque tower?
