Albanian Muslims Prevent Christians from Entering Monastery

On Christmas Eve ( the Serbs celebrated on 7 January with the old calendar) , about two hundred Albanian protesters blocked access to the monastery of Panagia Ntziakova ( southwestern Kosovo – Albania border ) , preventing two buses with 100 Serbs loyal to enter in the courtyard of the monastery and attend the function.

Only the church was renovated in 2010 and now operates as the Monastery of the Assumption.

In Ntziakova conducted war in 1999. In not stay longer Serbs and all Serbian houses have been destroyed.
