VIDEO CBS News: Pamela Geller discusses AFDI Lawsuit against Seattle Transit for Denying Anti-Terror Ads For Fear of Offending Muslims

Biased, libelous and with the name calling we have become familiar with in the war of ideas. Opposing jihad is anti-Muslim. Opposing 9/11 (New York), 7/7 (London), 3/11 (Madrid), Mumbai, Bali, Boston, Fort Hood, Kenya’s Westgate mall, Nigeria et al is “anti-Muslim.”

“A group often labeled anti-Muslim….”

Labeled by whom exactly? Islamic supremacists and their leftist bag men. Scurrilous, unsubstantiated charges, but the battlefield is ugly and never level in any war.

We can’t run faces of the world’s worst terrorists because Muslims will get offended? Rational folks will see through this, no matter how slickly packaged the propaganda.

The money quote is by taqiyya merchant Jafar Siddiqui of American Muslims of Puget Sound, who demanded that the FBI remove the original ads last summer: “Freedom of expression is the fig leaf that most hatemongers hide behind these days.” Actually, restriction of freedom of speech and freedom of conscience is the club that tyrants wield to enslave and destroy the people.

Siffiqui is the hater. He hates truth and freedom.

King County faces lawsuit for rejecting bus ads By Graham Johnson

SEATTLE — A group often labeled anti-Muslim is suing King County Metro for rejecting its bus ads.

The American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) tried to buy ads very similar to those purchased last summer by the FBI, with the headline “Faces of Global Terrorism.” The ads showed the photos of 16 wanted terrorists.

The FBI took the ads down after Rep. Jim McDermott and Muslim groups complained that they perpetuated stereotypes about Muslims as terrorists and unfairly made them targets in the community.

Shortly after the FBI ad disappeared from buses, AFDI, run by Pamela Geller, responded by trying to buy a similar ad with the same headline and the same photos.

Metro rejected it, citing policies against ads that are disruptive to the transit system, false or misleading, or demeaning or disparaging.

“Why is it demeaning now?” Geller told KIRO 7. “It’s the same ad without the FBI logo.”

Geller calls AFDI a human rights organization. The Southern Poverty Law Center calls it an anti-Muslim hate group.

“If the ad is demeaning it seems to me that the fault lies with Islamic terrorists, not me,” Geller said. “I didn’t force these Muslims to commit murder in the cause of jihad.”

Geller’s federal lawsuit alleges King County violated her group’s First Amendment rights.

Jafar Siddiqui of American Muslims of Puget Sound helped convince the FBI to remove the original ads last summer.

“Freedom of expression is the fig leaf that most hatemongers hide behind these days,” Siddiqui said.

Citing the pending litigation, a Metro spokesman would not explain why the FBI ad was accepted and the AFDI ad was rejected.
