The day before yesterday I ran a backgrounder on Trayvon Martin (elaborating on this), revealing who he was and what he did before that night.
I was remiss not to address George Zimmerman's history before that fateful night. Back Fence has this:
The media and majority of blacks want you to believe that George
Zimmerman is a racist. This is far from the truth, George Zimmerman is
not a racist. The Telegraph (London, England) is reporting the

- George Zimmerman voted and campaigned for Obama.
- George Zimmerman and his black friend opened an insurance company in Florida.
- George Zimmerman has black family members. Some of George's black family members lived with him, at some point.
- George Zimmerman launched a campaign to help a homeless black man who was beaten up by a white kid.
- George dated and took a black girl to the prom.
- George Zimmerman also mentored young black males.
You will never hear the media mention any of this.
George mentored two black children, continuing even when public funds ran out for the mentoring program. The Examiner had this:
At times collectively and others singularly, The Telegraph, the
Mercury News and The National Review have all cited past instances of
Zimmerman's liberal/Democrat street-cred that would cause any Hollywood
starlet or six figure income resident of Manhattan's tony Upper West
Side hang their head in shame.Researchable and legitimate source examples of Zimmerman's past history of working with and for blacks include:
- "He and a black friend opened up an insurance office in a Florida…"
- "He'd engaged in notably un-racist behaviour such as taking a black girl to his high-school prom…"
- "Not only does he have black relatives, he has reportedly donated his time to tutor black children."
- "He launched a campaign to help a homeless black man who was beaten up by a white kid."
Despite three reputable media outlets reporting these examples
of George Zimmerman's past interactions with blacks, Breitbart.com
reported almost six months ago:Not only was Zimmerman not a racist – he had a black
business partner, has Afro-Peruvian roots, and helped out
underprivileged black kids in his neighborhood – he also was a supporter
of the very president who would later slander him by innuendo.As Robert, George’s brother, told me, George is "a registered
Democrat. He registered as a Hispanic. He kind of did some internal
family campaigning for Obama."
In his new e-book, Robert Zimmerman Sr. gives us some background on his son and blames black leaders for fanning racial flames. This from The Root:

Trayvon Martin, the father of George Zimmerman has published an e-book
criticizing the case and calling some African-American leaders who
called for his son's arrest racists. Robert Zimmerman Sr.'s book, Florida v. Zimmerman: Uncovering the Malicious Prosecution of My Son, George, was released on Friday at Amazon.com for $3.99.Zimmerman writes at length about his background and his family's
multiracial identity, seemingly to counter accusations that his son, a
29-year-old neighborhood-watch volunteer, was racially motivated to
shoot the unarmed black 17-year-old last year. Zimmerman is white, and
his wife is Hispanic."In the Zimmerman household, relatives, friends, neighbors and
classmates were certainly a diverse, wholly accepted mix." He describes
his son's prom date as "a lovely young lady … They were an attractive
couple. No one ever even considered the fact that George was Hispanic
and the young lady happened to be black."Zimmerman devotes a chapter to the racial overtones of the case that
promise to further inflame the issue. In the chapter "Who Are the True
Racists?" he accuses a number of black leaders and organizations of
being racist. He also criticizes the attorneys representing the Martin
family as being race-baiting schemers.
He writes that before the shooting, he believed that "generally
racism was a thing of the past." But after the national outcry against
his son, he says he realized that racism is "flourishing at the
insistence of some in the African American Community."
As first reported in Think Progress,
Zimmerman identifies several organizations and leaders that he believes
are racist. He also implicates President Obama: "While stopping short
of explicitly calling President Obama a racist, Zimmerman Sr. does say
that Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have 'shamelessly' sought to
exploit his son's case 'to obtain great advantage in the
African-American community.' "
Zimmerman says that because of Holder's decision to investigate
whether Trayvon Martin's death violated federal civil rights laws, the
FBI did not have "adequate resources to investigate clearly identified
potential terrorist [sic] in the Boston area." Now, "tragically, we have
suffered the consequences of Mr. Holder's politically motivated
decisions."
Here is Zimmerman's list of racism culprits:
Zimmerman on the Congressional Black Caucus:
"[A] pathetic, self-serving group of racists… advancing
their purely racist agenda." He later adds that "all members of Congress
should be ashamed of the Congressional Black Caucus, as should be their
constituents." And finally: "They are truly a disgrace to all
Americans."
Zimmerman on the NAACP:
"[S]imply promotes racism and hatred for their own,
primarily finical, interests" and "without prejudice and racial divide,
the NAACP would simply cease to exist."
Zimmerman on NAACP President Benjamin Jealous:
"[W]hat I would expect of a racist."
Zimmerman on Trayvon Martin's funeral director:
A "racial activist and former head of the local NAACP."
Zimmerman on Benjamin Crump, Natalie Jackson and Darly Parks, attorneys for Travyon Martin's family:
"The scheme team."

Secret black ops prison camps around the world.
Allowed the NSA to spy on American citizens and people around the world via the Internet and telephone calls.
Used drones to kill innocent people.
Gone after whistle blowers that show how corrupt the US government really is.
Allowed his ambassador to Libya to be killed by having a military stand down.
Maintained a hit list.
Allowed the IRS to target people because of political dissent.
Sent weapons to Mexico via Fast and Furious.
What else?

The majority of blacks would be friendly towards Zimmerman if only their president would instruct them so.

At the risk of being called a “grammar Nazi” by some, remember that in order to combat the lunacy of the raging hyenas on the left — of whose ilk there is no limit to character attacks and emotional responses without facts or merit, not to mention complete lack of credibility in all ways — we must be credible, squeaky clean, and polished. I want to pass this posting on to others – including my politically moderate friends and my liberal friends – but I have to admit that the typo hurts the credibility with many people, as it can appear that the post was hastily published and/or unchecked.
I’m a huge fan and have read all of your books. Keep up the great work. You don’t fight the good fight alone!

what about the two black kids who killed a white 12 month old baby for the fun of it(Brunswick, GA)? what about autumn pasquale, she was only 14 and murdered for her bike by two black kids? her body was left in a trash can. they didnt get national media airtime. the list could go on and on and on. people bash’d Zimmerman in the court of popular opinion before any information came to light. hell, we will never know how it really went down because trayvon died, he was 1/3 the story. i can’t believe the rantings of some bumbling fool who was on the phone with him during the incident, especially when she admitted she didn’t think the term “cracker” isn’t a racial slur for white people. i know , since i look at things objectively i will be labeled a racist by anybody who is just another sheep to popular media.

Yes, let’s talk about sins of omission. Like the omissions of evidence that would have supported Zimmerman’s story. Trayvon’s extracurricular activities which included the very behaviors Zimmerman described that night. We all know that the judicial system has a history of not being just when it comes to blacks but this country has been changing, slowly I’ll admit, and has gotten FAR better than it was. Not every case where the white guy wins is unjust or some kind of scam. Easy for you to assume that, I agree, but not always true. This case is one of those times. Justice WAS served. One day you will be able to recognize the difference between the fair cases and the unfair ones. Right now, you are just too wary and suspicious to see it clearly.

They lied about everything: showing pictures of Martin being 12 years old; calling Zimmerman white; claiming that he told the operator that Martin was black; covering Martin’s past – that he used drugs, was expelled from the school, that his mother threw him out of her house, that he was involved in quite a few fights, that he punched the bus driver in the face, that he used marihuana, that stolen jewelry was found in his school bag, etc… Did you believe all of that? And now you question the FACTS (that can be easily proved) about who Zimmerman really is? You have no shame.

TM was in possession of stolen property at school.
TM had marijuana in his system
TM’s first instinct was to strike.
TM committed the first crime that night and it was a felony.
It would have been better for GZ to lay down and take it like a man ????
The real problem in the country is that since TM died on Feb 26, 2012 – 11,000 other black on black murders have been committed in the US. And there isn’t a black leader that will try to do anything about it.

The purpose of bringing this case into national prominence was to divide people. It has worked remarkably well based on results. All of you who are arguing have displayed elements of racism in your opinions. There is a solutrion to all this and most of you will NOT like it.
The Constitution for the united States of America is the Supreme Law of the land. It does not authorize much of what the federal government has done and yet people think that it’s okay when they benefit from the federal government’s unlawful acts.
If you do not like the way the case played out in Florida courts, then by all means do not move there! Each State has by constitutional mandate the rights to make laws so long as they do not violate the rights of the People, nor a prohibition defined in the Constitution.
The President and his Attorney General have violated the rights of the States many times, and in this case have also violated George Zimmerman’s rights by continuing an investigation in hopes of prosecuting Mr. Zimmerman for ‘civil rights’ violations.
I present to you the facts and they clearly demonstrate that not only was Mr. Zimmerman NOT in violation of ANY law but that his rights were violated by Mr. Martin’s assault on him. Now whether or not Mr. Zimmerman is a ‘wimp’ is not the issue either. It is simply a case of self-defense in which an armed man defended himself against the assault of an unarmed man. Where does it say that you can only defend yourself in like manner as your assailant? If George Zimmerman only had a knife and stabbed Treyvon Martin, would that we an issue since Treyvon didn’t use a knife?
Having lived in New York City during the Tawana Brawley fiasco, it amazes me that people take anything that Al Sharpton says seriously.
We must united as people regardless of race or religion to stop the violations of ALL of our rights by a government that is clearly out of control of the people.
