Obama’s Epic Failure in Egypt: Millions march in Anti-Morsi, Anti-Obama Protests

Obama's legacy. History will not be kind to the Muslim Brothehrood stooge in the White House. Imagine, Obama send Morsi 140,000 canisters of tear gas. They won't soon forget.

"Reporter’s Notebook: Millions March in Egypt Protests" ABC News, June 30, 2013

CAIRO, Egypt — A sea of bobbing heads hoisting Egyptian flags high
spilled out of Tahrir Square as drivers pulled their cars over on the
October 6 Bridge to watch the scene below. A long procession of others
walked down Ramses Street in the direction of the presidential palace.

Story continues below advertisement

We’ve covered a lot of protests in Egypt since the fall of President
Hosni Mubarak, but the last time we’d seen anything on this massive
scale was in the days following Jan. 25, 2011, when the revolution
started against him.

As night fell today, it quickly became clear the size of the June 30
protests by opponents of President Mohammed Morsi would eclipse those
seen during the revolution. Egypt’s CBC cable channel showed a
split-screen of high shots of the various protests, each box revealing a
staggering number of Egyptians walking and chanting.

Egypt

It’s impossible to confirm, but a military source told the Al Masry
Al Youm newspaper that millions had taken to the streets in the biggest
protests Egypt has ever seen. It’s easy to believe.

On the road to the palace this afternoon, the mass of humanity
stretched in both directions as far as the eye could see. It was a
brain-rattling cacophony of car honking, megaphones and chants. Men,
women and children of all stripes were out to protest Morsi’s first year
in office and his inability to get Egypt back on track.

“A year, he did nothing for this year,” Ghada Ahmd said. “He is not
even trying. He is doing everything for his Muslim Brotherhood group.
Not for Egypt, not for Egyptians. He is ignoring everything.”

A few miles away in Nasr City, the Muslim Brotherhood held a far
smaller rally in support of Morsi. Most protests these days have
civilian security but this was really something. Several rings of
serious looking men, mostly bearded, many wearing construction helmets
and holding clubs.

The clubs (later we saw nunchucks, chains and batons) were just for
defense, we were told repeatedly. But when several groups of young
Brothers ran through the crowd with their sticks in the air, shouting,
you’d be forgiven for thinking they might perhaps eventually be used to
offensively crack some liberal/secular skulls.

The rally was meant to show how peaceful Morsi supporters are, Hossam
Ramadan, an English high school teacher told us. And to counter the
opposition’s argument that Egyptians’ are worse off now than they were
under Mubarak.

“We would like to give Dr. Morsi the full chance to achieve our hopes
and to gather all the Egyptian people in one hand,” he said in
impressively fluent English.

The Brothers had their talking points down pat: Morsi’s only had a
year, give him more time. How can democracy flourish after such a short
period? No other democratic country would call for the ouster of its
president so soon after he/she took office.

The rally ran hot and cold. Many were happy to see a western media
outlet, since the opposition usually gets most of the attention.

“You are most welcome in Egypt,” a stream of demonstrators said warmly.

Egypt alqaeda

Others were more skeptical, and became downright hostile when we
filmed a group of ultra-conservative Salafists holding what is commonly
referred to as the al Qaeda flag.

“We will spill our blood for the sake of Islam,” the black-clad men chanted into our microphones.

“Why are you focusing on them?” several irate Brothers demanded,
fearful that yet another western outlet would lump them in with the
extremist fringes of Islam.

We’re not focusing on them, we insisted, we’ve filmed everyone else and spoken with a number of people.

We didn’t loiter.

Tonight was not void of violence. There are reports of at least five
killed in protests outside Cairo as well as an attack on the Muslim
Brotherhood headquarters in the capital. Egypt has never been so divided
and the warnings of a civil war still loom large. Change must come to
Egypt, but the answers of how and when remain as elusive forever.

But at least for tonight, Egypt appears to have avoided the wide scale bloodshed many feared would arise from today’s protests.

Imagine if the people from the birthplace of the Muslim Brotherhood were to successfully overthrow the oppression of the M.B. and eradicate it from their land. Oh, what a beautiful day that will be. Looking forward to it.

Obama wrote in his book, “The person who made me proudest of all though was Roy, he converted to Islam.” A Christian would NEVER say that! Roy is Barack Obama’s brother and after “he converted to Islam” he changed his name to “Abongo“.
What we must acknowledge here is that Obama’s mother married a second Muslim, Lolo Soetoro, who adopted her son in Indonesia and his name was Barry Soetoro. “Barry” is not a Muslim name and after leaving Indonesia he changed his name to “Barack,” an Arabic Muslim name. Also Barack wrote in his book, “Lolo followed a brand of Islam… I looked to Lolo for guidance.” What we must acknowledge is that Barry’s stepfather, Lolo, and mother enrolled him in two separate Indonesian schools as a Muslim. They could have circled Catholic, Christian, Buddhism, Hindu, but they circled Islam.
And in a third quote from Obama’s book he says, “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” Instead of saying he is on the side of America, or of Western civilization, or on the side of the Jews and the Christians who are the victims of Islamic terrorism instructed by the Quran and hadith, he is going to stand with the Muslims. And we see him doing this daily: He has been aiding and comforting the Muslims on every issue and at every step of the way.

This isn’t about helping muslims, its about setting up muslim brotherhood as a world dictator! Obama will need to help kill many mud slimes to make that happen… Many Christians have already died because of him. But looking how Kenyan Born Man lets imams curse dead Americans, there is not much humanity in him for his own religion people either. This guy is starting to make Satan look like the runner up to him in “Man of the Year!”

According to this website, this day could never be possible because Muslims never protest against Islamism or terrorism. Well here it is. Not only are Muslims protesting against it, they are protesting with the largest protest turnout in the history of the world. A very religious Muslim country where most women wear headscarves is in the process of throwing out the Muslim Brotherhood through massive street demonstrations. Their desires are a better economy and more security, not jihad, killing infidels, stoning women to death or anything like that. Don’t you think it’s time to admit that most Muslims aren’t that much different from us?

InfidelForLife

The largest protest turnout in the history of the world? A bit over the top, I expect.
Considering the history of the region your analysis is rather overly optimistic. It’s early days. A very religious Muslim country, indeed… that used to be predominantly non-Muslim. That should tell you something right there. Besides, Morsi and the MB will fight to the death, as expected. All fascist dictators do. And don’t forget that they elected the bastard in. Obama supported it actively. We are no better – we Westerners allowed the creation of the imbecilic dictatorial EU and placed the traitor-in-chief in the White House. Twice, even.
The difference is that we -theoretically- still can try to do something about these abominations without directly endangering our lives.
What these people try to do is to get some basic freedoms back. What we are seeing are the true freedom fighters, the ones rudely suppressed in the first place. But -most telling- the Islamofacists are there too as you can read, and in great numbers. And it is naive to assume they are not ready to fight to the death against those wanting some freedoms back.
Of course there are many good Muslims just wanting to live normal and free lives. Of course many are indeed peaceful. Nobody has ever denied that. In fact, no matter how many times Pamela and other state that fact – it is people like you who keep denying it buy repeating the lie.

The secularist second revolution is mostly a reaction to economic failure. The mob is twisting in the wind because nobody in Egypt has a clue on how to resolve their economic problems.
How should the West act in regards to the Egyptian situation as it now stands? Do send the Egyptians any foreign aid. Let them hit rock bottom and see how they like being without help from the West for a few years so they realize they have to adopt western ideals or simply remain as they are and continue to choose to follow Morsi who is providing Egypt with nothing but fear and catastrophe.

This may be America soon. Obama has stated that he would come down on the side of the Muslims. He has a DOJ that is not collecting data on Muslims. He has basically opened our southern borders to invasion. I believe he is preparing to officially assume the powers of a dictator and a Muslim dictator at that.

Patrick Cockburn, a journalist and political analyst who is in the Syrian territory just wrote an article under the title of “Foreign media portrayals of the conflict in Syria are dangerously inaccurate”:
I will paste in some key paragraphs from that article to show that the theme of his report centers around the completely inadequate information that the media has passed along through the world press. Furthermore, while the USA administration claims to be able to funnel weapons and give combat training to “moderates”, THERE ARE NO “MODERATES” FIGHTING IN SYRIA!
We are equipping our enemies in every sense of the word. The Obama administration is playing spin games. If a fighter is in Syria wanting to confront the Syrian Army they are already as radical as you can get. They are there for both mercenary and Jihadist reasons. And Al Queda has all the money it needs to recruit so-called moderates. A pack of cigarettes will do it.
“But obscured in the media’s accounts of what happened in Tal Kalakh was an important point: the opposition in Syria is fluid in its allegiances. The US, Britain and the so-called 11-member “Friends of Syria”, who met in Doha last weekend, are to arm non-Islamic fundamentalist militants, but there is no great chasm between them and those not linked to al-Qaeda. One fighter with the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front was reported to have defected to a more moderate group because he could not do without cigarettes. The fundamentalists pay more and, given the total impoverishment of so many Syrian families, the armed men will always be able to win more recruits. “Money counts for more than ideology,” a diplomat in Damascus told me.
The plan of the CIA and the Friends of Syria to somehow seek an end to the war by increasing the flow of weapons is equally absurd. War will only produce more war.”

JOHN, you are not very deeply immersed in these matters, evidently.
These protests are not about “protesting Islam” at all.
These protests are so huge because they contain many people who DID vote for Morsi even KNOWING Morsi’s strong Islamic stands.
JOHN, these people are NOT protesting “against Islamism or terrorism”.
They want improved infrastructure, electricity that consistently stays on and keeps their air conditioners and refrigerators running. Yes, the basic creature comforts that Morsi promised to tackle.
Yes, they want a “better economy”. They want more security. They recognize that the streets are now overrun with rampant looting gangs, thuggery, and murder. They recognize that Morsi turned the criminals loose.
If Egyptian government can feed the people’s bellies and keep the streets safe and increase the buying power of its people then they will slavishly devote themselves to whatever that “winning” power elite dictates.
Out of their ranks will come the next big armies who look to overrun Jerusalem and rid the region of the embarrassment of Israel in their Islamic midst.
Those crowds are not in the streets demanding a secular democracy. When they say they want “freedom” and “security” they are not demanding it for Jews, Copts, Christians, Homosexuals, and Atheists.
And there are HUGE differences between Muslim believers and non-believers and Infidels who worship other than Allah.
John, how have you so evidently missed that it is the MUSLIM world that constantly screams defiantly that they ARE different and superior to us?
“We” did not vilify Muslims. How can you miss how directly and clearly that the Imams, the Clerics, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, Hamas, Wahabbis, Sunnis, Salafists, Shiahs, Alawites, on and on, ceaselessly proclaim their out right superiority to YOU, John.

Many want Morsi out because he didn’t go to war with Israel. They hate him because they perceive him to be a “Jew sympathizer”.

Although this quote comes at the very bottom of the article, even the BBC reveals:

“The BBC’s Aleem Maqbool in Cairo says many ordinary Egyptians – angered by Mr Morsi’s political and economic policies – have been taking part in the rally in Tahrir Square.
At one point, army helicopters flew over Tahrir Square and dropped Egyptian flags, to cheers from the anti-Morsi crowd, he says. “

This is why we should not give them our support. There is no difference between morsi and those demonstrating against him as far as we are concerned. While they may oppose morsi for domestic reasons, they have no problem with his endorsement of jihad against infidels, especially Jews.

This is what they oppose about morsi. They don’t oppose his anti-American, anti-infidel and most especially his Jew-hatred. Just because the Egyptian populace is against morsi doesn’t mean they are our friends. Let’s not make the mistake in assuming these are true freedom fighters.
