VIDEO: Pamela Geller in Canada
The Speech York Region Police Banned

The intrepid and indispensable Blazing Cat Fur has the whole speech from last night. It was a spectacular event — room after room teeming with glorious humanity. For all those who were turned away at the door, here is the speech. Huge thanks to the JDL, who took amazing care of me and provided intense and unparalleled security.

Pamela Geller Speech – Toronto May 2013 BCF

Craven Toronto Rabbis Condemn Pamela Geller Appearance, Pay Lip Service to Our Most Precious Freedom

"Allow me to express my profound disappointment that a local body of
Jewish rabbis has, in a shocking dereliction of duty to the community it
serves, chosen the smoke and mirrors–the fraud–of interfaith pieties
over freedom. The freedom to condemn the Jew-hate embedded in core Islamic texts."
Pamela Geller spoke at the Zionist Centre in Toronto May 13 2013, an event hosted by the JDL.

Scarmouche has a wonderful takedown of the Toronto Board of Rabbis (a throwback to Jewish Councils (Judenraete) here:

As
far as I know there weren't any members of Toronto's Board of Rabbis in
the packed audience last night to hear Pamela Geller detail her efforts
to put a dent in the inroads being made by Islamic supremacists in the
name of jihad. Instead, our esteemed clergy issued this delightfully demented message, a tiny gem of obsequiousness and inadvertent humour:

The Toronto Board of Rabbis (TBR) exp resses its profound disappointment that a local Jewish organization has extended an invitation to Pamela Geller, a blogger who is known for herextreme criticism of Muslims in language that is intended to shock and ridicule.

The TBR is a strong supporter of freedom of speech for all, including
Ms. Geller. Ms. Geller’s voice and message are already well known here
in Canada and beyond. There was no sense in inviting her here to Toronto
to speak before a Jewish audience. Sadly the only sure result of this
event will be increasing tensions within the Jewish community and
between Jews and Muslims in Toronto.

Allow
me to express my profound disappointment that a local body of Jewish
rabbis has, in a shocking dereliction of duty to the community it
serves, chosen the smoke and mirrors–the fraud–of
interfaith pieties over freedom. The freedom to condemn the Jew-hate
embedded in core Islamic texts. The freedom to criticize grotesque and
gruesome Islamic practices–honour killings, the obliteration of female
sexual organs, Medieval punishments for apostasy and other "crimes." And
above all–and I would suggest that this is what sets the West apart
from lands where Islam calls the shots–the freedom to shock and
ridicule, to be saucy and rude, to poke fun at tyrants both petty and
great, to "blaspheme," to blow a big fat, wet raspberry at those
dhimmified mice who would silence us in the name of inter-cultural amity
and at the false friends they are so desperate to mollycoddle and mollify.

In
the war that's raging between freedom and dhimmitude, I, like Ms.
Geller, and like all those who were there last night to hear her, choose
freedom. That the Toronto Board of Rabbis has decided that groveling
and pusillanimity are the way to go tells you everything you need to
know about the "sha shtill" mentality that yet pervades and perverts
mainstream Jewish leadership in Canada.

Hooray for Pam and a big thumbs down to the TBR who have replayed history being the Jewish leadership that has once again sold out the Jews to Fascists – this time selling them out to the Islamofascists.
The TBR a strong supporter of the extermination of Western civilization through dhimminitude and servitude to Islamic oppression.
Yes, lets not make them angry, especially since they want to kill us all , lets make the job easy for them and gravel like sniveling cowards.

Interfaith talks w/ muslims just a waste of TBR’s and Canada’s time and tax payer $$$…Too bad they don’t want to face the facts that muslims only have one thing on their mind: A jews head on a platter. TBR hope you enjoy your democratic interfaith dialogue with muslims; but no crying when it becomes five muslim wolves and a sheep voting on what’s dinner…

It’s “Board[s] of Rabbis” like this one in Toronto which enabled the triple murder in Boston. I’d wager every one of those three young/now dead Jewish men were exposed to heaping doses of inter-faith pusillanimity encouraging each to keep their guard down.

I had the privilege of hearing Pamela Geller speak last night. I am in awe of this lady who has more courage, integrity and drive to tell the truth than the shameful board of toronto rabbis. Why didnt they come to hear what she had to say instead of just condemning. We who were there heard such a dynamo, who tells the truth, which of course the islamist and the apologists certainly dont want people to hear. She has no arrogance about her,and what she had to say should be shouted from the rooftops. I will continue to try to inform everybody I know what the truth is and how we are being hoodwinked by cowards who would have us ruled by islamists and sharia law. Please-everyone-support prime minister Harper and continue to tell people just what a magnificent leader he is. And Pamela Geller-just keep going girl—-you are a national treasure and we need you and should be indebted to you for your courage.

There is no shortage of well-deserved superlatives to be offered when it comes to describing the lady’s remarkable and blessed essence; however, instead of writing paragraph after magnificent paragraph, while perhaps still not entirely capturing her incomparable odyssey, she so generously and continually shares with both the Jewish and non-Jewish world, I thought I would sum it all up in one rather exceptional word. A Yiddish/Hebrew word.
Ms. Pamela Geller, you are a ” simcha “, plain and simple. A blessing on you!

This is what struck me in their excuse. They said that “Ms Geller’s voice and message are already well known!!! and that therefore there was “no sense” in inviting her! They also assume that the “only sure” result will be a bad one.
Who are they to judge that?! To decide for so many other people? How can they know what people already know and whether or not Pamela’s speech will have additional information and effect? They don’t know and this is just an excuse for obstructing free speech. They either do not understand this very important principle are they really are against it. They really have different higher values of their own.

IF Pamela Geller’s life work is successful, our entire generation will be indebted to her. The education she is trying to impart may save us from world war 2 style conflicts around the world, if ONLY WE WILL LISTEN!
People need to wake up and be mindful of what Islamic Supremacists and their western cohorts are trying to do to our freedoms, our wealth and our national identity. It is beyond time to toss Multi-culti overboard like the abject failure it is. While we can respect other cultures, when someone from that culture comes to the US, they should be expected to integrate into US culture. Otherwise, why bother to come here?
Pamela, keep up the great work!

Rabbi means “teacher”. These so-called “teachers” seem uncharacteristically ignorant when they put out messages like this: http://www.scribd.com/doc/141289602/Pamela-Geller-Statement
Call them and politely tell them we need more teachers who stick to truth, facts and love, like Pamela Geller.

These great talks deserve better then a handheld camcorder. The sound feed MUST be taken from the microphone that the speaker is using if you are to have a chance of clear sound. I find this again and again with such videos. The emphasis seems to be on visual. I don’t care too much about pretty pictures. I want to hear what the speaker is saying. So my request to vid-makers is: Please, please put sound quality at the top of your priorities. Muffled sound recording is a pain and loses audiences.

I was proud to be at this speech! What courage Ms. Geller showed. I felt so great being in a room with people who “get it”! To stand (and sit) with others who are not afraid. To be there with my mother who has taught me the importance of speaking the truth and speaking out against those who will do us and many others harm. The same mother who has instilled the saying, “when good men do nothing – evil prevails”, in both me and my young daughter and to not be a “sha” Jew!
I was relieved and energized to connect to others who feel the same and eager to learn more. The fact that the TPS was there makes the reality of our situation even more apparent and alarming. I would love to know how many speeches the TPS’s crimes unit goes to that other “communities” host. Seriously! I would really love to see a log of what speeches they attend and what they consider to be hate speech.
I went to the speech with an open mind. I had heard and read so many different opinions about Ms. Geller and wanted to be able to make up my own mind. All I heard was the truth spoken by a woman who has nothing but compassion for those being oppressed and who are victims of heinous crimes against humanity. A woman who loves her country and the world, who has taken her blinders off and sees the reality of the future of our world. Who is NOT AFRAID! There was not a moment of hate in her speech and the only thing she asks is for people to THINK for themselves and look at the facts – the real facts. TPS has no business being there and in my opinion were there at the behest of others who are afraid of the truth and of offending specific groups. That is the problem in itself…the fear. Fear is the current climate of our world. We are being held hostage to our fear. Fear has tainted our views and our sense of moral outrage. Fear has become a commodity whose value is often far above most of the world’s currency these days. Fear has made a generation of our people turn their backs on their own, question and publically speak out against our beloved Israel and allowed universities and other institutions where Jewish students and community members have attended for decades no longer safe for us. Fear has made to many of us complacent.
I learned that so much of what I knew and felt instinctually was true and took comfort in the fact that others feel the same. Ms. Geller was right when she said sometimes it feels overwhelming and you wonder as an individual what you can do. Today started my new journey in taking one step at a time to help further her voice and the voice of so many to try and make a difference. I started by finding my voice last night and asking a question, today I posted her video of her speech and sent her link to EVERYONE I know. Tomorrow I will take time to speak to my little daughter about the speech and why it was so important that I go. Next week…who knows…but I want to be a part of the solution not the problem.
Thank you Ms. Geller. Not just for inspiring me but for your courage.
Your Future Fighter!

This is definitely true — it’s especially true when islamofascist agitators show up and begin screaming and yelling — like they have at both Pamela and Robert’s events as well as David Horowitz’s events.

There are plenty of brain-dead Christians engaging in the same dishonest game w/scuzzlums right here in the USA. A guy I know stood up to challenge the lies a scuzzlum was spewing to his congregation. He ended up being ostracized from his own church. He ended up quitting not only his church, but the entire Methodist movement in Christianity (for the same reasons).
